“I took my son to Empire Steak House for his 15th birthday, and overall it was a great experience. The service was amazing, attentive, welcoming, and made the night feel special from start to finish. The sides, mashed potatoes and baked potato, were just okay and could've used more flavor, even with butter, salt, and pepper. But the steak... absolutely incredible. Easily one of the best steaks in the city. Definitely a spot I'd return to for the quality of the meat and top-tier service.“

“Visited on Wednesday night to celebrate mine and my husbands wedding that day and as soon as we walked in we were greeted by lovely friendly staff. We were seated quickly and were introduced to our server. The atmosphere was amazing and the food was fantastic. We opted for the Korean bacon to start and we both had the butchers feast. Outstanding. The steak was beautiful and the dishes that came with it were amazing too. The short rib and egg soufflé were my favourite. “We went for my grandsons, 32 birthday and he loves good restaurants it was a little tuff for me drink's was different and the understanding of the menu I'm old so I needed my flashlight to see the menu but the food was great everything was great and I love this for my grandsons and we get to try different food“

“This was the best meal we've had in NYC and the staff couldn't have done anything better. Our steak was perfectly cooked and so tender! The grilled octopus (which we don't often find) was delicious and one baked potato is plenty for two. Finished with NY cheesecake and tiramisu-so yummy! Thanks to Lorik for stellar service. “This place absolutely lives up to the expectation when it comes to food, service, atmosphere, and the oodles of money you will pay for your meal. Quick tips are go early (because by 6:30/7 it will start to fill up) or during the week, order the burger (they only make 6 per DAY), and reserve a high top seat by the bar (just my preference but it made me feel like I was in a less stuffy/fancy shmancy restaurant).

Jk about this being a short review. Anyway I loved all of the appetizers we got to start and would order them again and again. The bread service had a cheddar biscuit that was unnecessarily good, herbed focaccia, and whipped butter and labneh as dips. I had to stop myself from going crazy on that alone. The tuna tartare with shiso, sesame, and seaweed was light, fresh, and the flavor didn’t overpower the tuna itself. Tuna grade was also a 10/10 and just melted in my mouth. The oven baked cherry stone clams with pickled pepper, garlic bread crust, snd spicy pepper butter was creamy was deeply flavorful and blended so well together. If any critique here, I would ask for the breadcrumbs to be toasted a bit longer but I’m just being annoying. Then their take on a Caesar, the little gems salad, with hazelnuts, an anchovy vinaigrette, and leeks was just surprising enough while still following the traditional Caesar taste… so exactly what I wanted to feel like I was doing something different.

As for our mains, the bone in filet mignon just melted. It was cooked perfectly and seasoned intentionally but sparingly so the meat really shined. The cappelletti with butternut squash, brown butter, candied pepitas, and toasted sage was such a cozy dish, it tasted how the Fall season feels! If I were to critique the dish, I wish it was served hot and not warm; that would’ve brought its level up to a 15 instead of 11 out of ten. And the star of the show… the bar burger! Of course it’s not on the menu and as I said above, they only make 6 burgers a day… so obviously I had to get it and was not disappointed in the slightest! Nothing fancy here: melted cheese (don’t ask what kind), medium rare burger, light tomatoes sauce (fancy ketchup) and a sourdough bun. Think that’s what haven tastes like? The burger was HUGE so I will be eating the other half for breakfast.

Had the most delicious cab that was sooo expensive… so I’ll never have it again but it was fruity and bold in all the right ways.“

“I went to Harry's for my birthday dinner while visiting NYC in May 2025. Everything was absolutely perfect. Best beef wellington I've ever had. The service was outstanding. The drinks were delicious and the creme brulee topped everything off. I plan to dine there everytime I visit NY. I would recommend to any and everyone.“

OMG where do I even start? The food is unreal and the staff is so classy! They literally treated us like royalty.
The Steak Frites was the best I’ve ever had—literally melted in my mouth. That Ribeye was cooked to perfection: crispy on the outside and super juicy inside. And don't even get me started on the mashed potatoes and spinach... I’ve never had mash that creamy in my entire life! No wonder the chef has a Michelin star!
We went for Restaurant Week; my husband got the lunch special and that Salmon Tartare was next level. Even the bread, the butter, and the dessert were a total 10/10.
Seriously, you guys HAVE to check this place out. Worth every penny🔥

“The Capital Grille is a special place for me. It was my first great American steakhouse where I was introduced to the science of steaks. It happened many years ago, and since then I've been to many great steakhouses, but Capital Grille will always be a special one for me.
So when deciding on a place to celebrate 3 birthdays with my girlfriends, the Capital Grille was a no-brainer. And it didn't disappoint.
Everything was great - service, food, ambiance. I personally love their wedge salad. It's not a complicated salad, but they do it specifically well.
Our steaks were cooked perfectly as we ordered. The wague fillet mignon was out of this world good. Truffle parmesan fries hit the right spot.
A complimentary dessert was a cherry 🍒 on top.

“Went for steak dinner at Sparks steakhouse. Our waiter was rushing us from the very moment we sat down. We ordered wine, an appetizer and then steak. Ordered the filet mignon. The steak served was much more like a t-bone in texture and size. We questioned the waiter but we're told it was definitely a filet. I wish I had taken pictures. Unfortunately we won't be back.“

Visited for my son's annual birthday trip to the city and picked Royal 35 for its diverse menu of great cuts and sides. My son loved the lobster tail/filet surf and turf and I got the bone-in rib eye. My steak was big and tasty but just a tad fattier than I prefer. German potatoes, mac and cheese (cheesy with a unique smokiness), creamed spinach, and mushrooms were awesome choices as sides. We don't drink so no comments for the wine connoisseurs out there. A surprise piece of birthday cheesecake for my son's special day was a nice final touch. Dinner was very pricey, but hey we're at a Manhattan steakhouse. Would definitely go back.“

“Came here with my parents while they were in town and it was a highlight of the trip. Jorge and Nikka were out servers abs they went above and beyond. The food was amazing! We had the rib cap, sea bass, and lamb chops, with mashed potatoes, Caesar salad, Brussel sprouts, and baked potato, and it was all exquisite. The Basque cheesecake was a recommendation we loved, even though we were so full! We'll definitely return and recommend this restaurant to others.“
