“Visited on Wednesday night to celebrate mine and my husbands wedding that day and as soon as we walked in we were greeted by lovely friendly staff. We were seated quickly and were introduced to our server. The atmosphere was amazing and the food was fantastic. We opted for the Korean bacon to start and we both had the butchers feast. Outstanding. The steak was beautiful and the dishes that came with it were amazing too. The short rib and egg soufflé were my favourite. “What an incredible experience! I went there last night on 57th Street for Christmas Eve. 5 star customer service thanks to The Rock & staff, delicious lamb chops, tuna tartare and Pinot Noir. I had the pecan pie and ice cream, my mom had the crab cake and we shared the creamed spinach and mashed potatoes. I highly recommend! Thank you for such an enjoyable evening! “This place absolutely lives up to the expectation when it comes to food, service, atmosphere, and the oodles of money you will pay for your meal. Quick tips are go early (because by 6:30/7 it will start to fill up) or during the week, order the burger (they only make 6 per DAY), and reserve a high top seat by the bar (just my preference but it made me feel like I was in a less stuffy/fancy shmancy restaurant).

Jk about this being a short review. Anyway I loved all of the appetizers we got to start and would order them again and again. The bread service had a cheddar biscuit that was unnecessarily good, herbed focaccia, and whipped butter and labneh as dips. I had to stop myself from going crazy on that alone. The tuna tartare with shiso, sesame, and seaweed was light, fresh, and the flavor didn’t overpower the tuna itself. Tuna grade was also a 10/10 and just melted in my mouth. The oven baked cherry stone clams with pickled pepper, garlic bread crust, snd spicy pepper butter was creamy was deeply flavorful and blended so well together. If any critique here, I would ask for the breadcrumbs to be toasted a bit longer but I’m just being annoying. Then their take on a Caesar, the little gems salad, with hazelnuts, an anchovy vinaigrette, and leeks was just surprising enough while still following the traditional Caesar taste… so exactly what I wanted to feel like I was doing something different.

As for our mains, the bone in filet mignon just melted. It was cooked perfectly and seasoned intentionally but sparingly so the meat really shined. The cappelletti with butternut squash, brown butter, candied pepitas, and toasted sage was such a cozy dish, it tasted how the Fall season feels! If I were to critique the dish, I wish it was served hot and not warm; that would’ve brought its level up to a 15 instead of 11 out of ten. And the star of the show… the bar burger! Of course it’s not on the menu and as I said above, they only make 6 burgers a day… so obviously I had to get it and was not disappointed in the slightest! Nothing fancy here: melted cheese (don’t ask what kind), medium rare burger, light tomatoes sauce (fancy ketchup) and a sourdough bun. Think that’s what haven tastes like? The burger was HUGE so I will be eating the other half for breakfast.

Had the most delicious cab that was sooo expensive… so I’ll never have it again but it was fruity and bold in all the right ways.“

“I went to Harry's for my birthday dinner while visiting NYC in May 2025. Everything was absolutely perfect. Best beef wellington I've ever had. The service was outstanding. The drinks were delicious and the creme brulee topped everything off. I plan to dine there everytime I visit NY. I would recommend to any and everyone.“

“We love this place. Have tried a few other nearby steakhouses (stk, sparks, Ben & jacks) but Benjamin is the best! The service is fantastic- Jony took excellent care of us. Wine list is vast, like 18 pages long. Prices aren't cheap, but portions are sizable. For example, the colossal shrimp are really colossal. The porterhouse steak can't be beat. And the house sauce is absolutely lovely. Although we barely had any room for dessert, we finished the lava cake and the creme Brule.“

“Overall good experience. We went there when the restaurant opened, and the complementary bread used to be round and good. Feels like the quality has been slightly decreased with the bread and butter. Steak was also ok. Ordered two, and they were cooked well, but not so evenly. Ribeye was kinda tough, but the New York cut was pretty good. Wagyu kimchi fried rice had more of a mala type seasoning, which was not really expected. We were looking for more of a savory meat-packed fried rice. Surprisingly, they had one of the best Doenjang-jjigae I had in years. Very rich and deep in flavor.“

“The Capital Grille is a special place for me. It was my first great American steakhouse where I was introduced to the science of steaks. It happened many years ago, and since then I've been to many great steakhouses, but Capital Grille will always be a special one for me.
So when deciding on a place to celebrate 3 birthdays with my girlfriends, the Capital Grille was a no-brainer. And it didn't disappoint.
Everything was great - service, food, ambiance. I personally love their wedge salad. It's not a complicated salad, but they do it specifically well.
Our steaks were cooked perfectly as we ordered. The wague fillet mignon was out of this world good. Truffle parmesan fries hit the right spot.
A complimentary dessert was a cherry 🍒 on top.

“Went for Valentines. Set menu only. We asked for a la carte but wasnt an option. We had steak and sea bass. Both were tasty . Steak was on the rare side of medium. Massive portions!!! Big fish and 14oz filet .
Service was not great, had to ask for water and wine to be topped up.
Overall a big hearty meal but over priced for what it was.

Better to share a dessert with someone if you decide you must order a dessert. If it's bad, just send it back. With the prices they charge, diners should get some type of dessert on the House.“

“Nice atmosphere, love the low lighting perfect for date night. Servers go above and beyond, the manager even stopped by and asked how our trip was going. I had two lovely servers bring my husband and I a little treat since they knew it was our anniversary. The entire staff was 10/10, even the food runners made a good impression. The food was delicious and I would most definitely recommend the bacon wrapped scallops *chefs kiss*. We are from Miami, we were only visiting NY for the weekend, but our server told us they also have a location in Miami!! Super excited to go that location now.“
