“I don’t often get coffee out these days but whenever I need my Starbucks fix the staff at this location are always so kind and helpful. I was a bit disorganized today and Cesar was patient and professional in helping take my order. Appreciate it very much!!“

“I've been a regular here for years, and I don't give enough shout-outs to places I love. This Bucket (for those who don't know, in Canada there are Buckets and Cups) is the perfect 'third space' envisioned by its founder, Howard Schultz. Staff are very welcoming and the whole customer-facing area is kept spotless, including the washrooms. It's usually full but still I can usually find a good work space. Sometimes my wife and I visit together and it's great for treats, too. The drinks selection changes to keep things interesting, and preparation is excellent.“

“I just wanted to highlight the amazing service that my mother and I experienced during our visit to this Starbucks today specifically from the barista pictured. Our drinks were made exceptionally well but my mother was unaware of the sugar levels in her drink and when she politely asked about the sugar content, the barista pictured actually remade her drink making it entirely suitable for her as well as recommending how to order it with less sugar for the future. We will definitely be back to this location!“

“Cute, cozy atmosphere. Love the workers as they are so nice and kind, all of them. Personally, Aspasia served me and I heard she had just recently started but she’s doing great. She makes it look like she’s been in the business for years. Very warming space to do work or just catch up with friends. Will come again!“

“5 stars to the lovely lady at the cash named Barbie & a gentleman named Miki. Their customer service was absolutely amazing, 100%. They were very friendly and welcoming!!!! Will probably go just so they can make my day extra better :)
The other staff behind the counter were quick and efficient with staying on top of orders.
It is small with only hightop seating and very limited. I do like the little outdoor seating area though.

One thing that bugged me was I felt a glare from one of the people behind the counter, who was not even in an apron? I think her name was Amy? Intentional or not i felt completely judged and I felt so uncomfortable i literally had to leave.“

“I always frequent this Starbucks between patients to grab a cup of coffee, and it's always a pleasant and seamless experience. Love my quick exchanges with the staff and I've never been disappointed with the coffee, highly recommend!“

“I have been to many, many coffee shops in Toronto, but 1740 Avenue Road Starbucks is not just the best Starbucks I’ve ever been to，it is, without a doubt, the best place. Period. This isn't about the coffee (which is always perfect), but about the people. Cheng and his team have created something magical here: a genuine, warm, and uplifting hub that feels like a cornerstone of the neighborhood.

“I visited this Starbucks last week for my iced, upside-down blonde vanilla latte, and it was made perfectly. The barista on bar, Lisha, really nailed it - I could taste the exact distinct layers I was looking for in my beverage. Everyone there was also incredibly friendly, and the overall service felt genuinely welcoming. This location truly sets a high standard for other Starbucks to follow.

The store is consistently clean as well. The washrooms, in particular, have always been well-maintained and in great condition every time I’ve visited.“

“I’m writing to thank Aimee. I was dropped off by an Uber and I noticed I left my phone behind. I frantically ran into Starbucks and asked a barista (Aimee) to use the phone. She said the store phone wasn’t working but she let me use her personal phone. TLDR, I was able to track down my phone shortly afterwards but it was only because Aimee let me use her phone. “One the most popular coffee shops which used to be very organized by serving delicious drinks & snacks but unfortunately during last years the quality & service provided is far below the standards required but prices are much higher than similar outlets. Most of the time the table & the place are not clean & when we complain the working staff claimed they are very busy“

“The baristas were delightful as always. The cafe was neat but very crowded and the way the seats are arranged it isn’t a great place to take a kid in a stroller, which is what I did. Incidentally the only seat that came available was right next to the washrooms which afforded a bit of extra space for the sleeping toddler in a stroller.

I remember back a long time ago there used to be more cafe space and less counter space (now used for mobile order pick up), and I felt it matched the “3rd place” ideal Starbucks used to have. I can see with all the drive thrus and UberEats etc Starbucks has moved away from that, and it’s a shame. Howard Shultz should be sad about this but I guess $$ is a comfort.“

“Open-concept Starbucks in the plaza underneath the Metro grocery store. Staff were friendly and fast. If you want to sit at a table, I recommend wiping down the table first. The area gets a lot of traffic and Starbucks is not responsible for them.

Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accessible entrance with power doors and an elevator to get to the Metro grocery store. The tables are a suitable height people in mobility devices.“

“Spacious, very friendly staff, aside from no one mentioning or asking about the Rewards app. Coffee not that strong, even with extra shot lattes. Allowed re-use cups which is always good as some places bizarrely don’t. Prices a bit on the high side for a simple latte. The cookies are always soft and "flexible", probably due to vegetable oils used in the manufacturing process. The good thing about Starbucks is that they allow you to bring external food in and eat it with your hot, or cold, beverage so long as you're not ripping the ass out of it and there's free wifi. Good for all the usual basic meeting with friends and socialising over a drink.“

“I usually come here recently, to pick up coffee during the day as I moved close by. It is not very busy during the day on weekdays.

I usually order regular coffee, and the last few times, their coffee is not hot, and it comes out lukewarm. It was freshly brewed but lacked that hot sip desired in the cold weather.

Most of the staff is always nice and friendly, and pretty fast to serve the line.

The place is usually clean and well kept. There is a few seats to sit down and not a lot of seating space, so usually for take outs. The interior, however, is not that appealing. The seats and tables are pretty old and worn off. They need to consider a reno for sure.

Their washroom is also pretty clean and well maintained.

The parking is also another issue if you drive and are not within walking distance.

Overall, I might not come back often and might consider other local options.“
