“I don't think I've ever had a sweeter Barista at any starbucks ever, Row was so sweet and kind!! I went in to redeem a birthday drink and (even though it was a busy rush hour) she helped me figure out how to redeem it and wished me happy birthday o(^o^)o
I was really nervous asking how to redeem but she made the experince 10x better that it could've anticipated. She's amazing, thank you row!!“

“Lovely interior decor I must say, from the rather hidden usb and wall outlet plug in charging ports imbedded within the table framing underneath the tabletop to the curiously implemented hand-drying installations, and the tastefully crafted steel and concrete bathroom area contrasted by the warm wood and semi formal coffee sipping atmosphere but only permitted on high stools unless you are one of the lucky few who achieved an impossible feat and arrived when one of the five sitting seats are still available - the entire experience is uplifting the minds of those too preoccupied to look up from their phone or some form of possibly involuntary work-related socialization going on“

“I have nothing negative to say, nothing to improve. Just sadness that many Starbucks closed from historical locations. I used to think that Starbucks coffee was a bit pricey, but not anymore when I compare it with Tim Hortons and the others, which all lack the taste and comfort. Please stop closing Starbucks; it's the only place where normal people can gather to work in silence and socialize without constant harassment.“

“I’m a local and this is my favourite location. All of the baristas are welcoming. One of the baristas, Callie, is always friendly and takes time to have a genuine chat. She even remembers what we chatted about last time. They always get my cinnamon dolce latte just right here. Thanks!“

There was a quick mix-up with the foam on my drink, but she handled it with so much grace and a massive smile. She was incredibly sweet, genuinely appreciated my patience, and rushed to make me a perfect replacement drink right away. I thought I wrote a review the last time I came here but I guess not. It’s too far back that I can’t see in the app but it was before April 2026. The barista that time was a male The staff are so kind and friendly and have a nice energy about them. I appreciate how they call out names still here and how they say mine makes me feel so nice I end up crying each time. Today’s barista was a female.
Being in a bad relationship I have only heard my name when in anger and being yelled at. Having people say my name and being kind is something you don’t expect to make you teary eyed but where I am. Thank you so much.
Please ask head office to bring back nutmeg to top drinks. I love it on my chai lattes.“

“For about a year now, I've been ordering from the app for pickup at this location. They consistently have it ready on time and prepared correctly. And the staff always make an effort to say hello or thank you. I'd give them an A+ on customer service.“

“Nice seating. Good sunlight comes through and it's nice to work here. Helpful baristas. Example -- A customer was taking a video call very loudly without headphones + it was super disruptive/echoing loudly. I spoke to the customer nicely and he ignored me. So I asked the barista to help and she asked him to lower his volume. The man took his loud video call outside instead and I was so grateful for the barista support!“

“I came by Thursday evening with my son as I was shopping in the area and the store was large with lots of seating. Very beautiful location, drinks were good - a bit pricey but this is Starbucks so it is expected. I don’t write reviews but I’m writing this review because I appreciate the baristas here for the way they handled an impatient customer. The man was demanding to be served faster after waiting in the line for 30 seconds, he berated two staff members as they were discussing something in a book (appeared to be a work log) saying something along the lines of “Instead of standing there talking to each other can you do your job and take my order?”. The woman responded that there was only one register working and the cashier would able to take his order. I applaud the way she didn’t match or acknowledge his disrespectful attitude. It’s nice to see that the team here has each other’s backs and can defend their coworkers respectfully. I stayed in for a bit longer and the way they work together while laughing and having fun is a breath of fresh air. Amazing work from management for how they’ve trained their employees.“

“This Starbucks is definitely my favourite one, it's not like the picture provided in the descriptions on google. It can seat about 30 people inside but spaced out where you have privacy and also has a nice closed terrace overviewing the cars passing on Sheppard street. Give a nice relax private atmosphere to work or study. The baristas are very nice every time I come here. They also make my specific drink exactly the way I like it every time. The washroom are ALWAYS clean. It's in a little food plaza so there is more than enough parking.“

I’ve been coming here regularly and have tried a range of drinks—brewed coffee (hot and cold) and various seasonal options—and they consistently hit the mark. Quality is reliable, drinks are served at the right temperature, and everything tastes fresh.

What really sets this place apart is the staff. They’re genuinely friendly, greet you warmly, and always make the interaction pleasant. It’s a great vibe all around.

The environment is clean and welcoming. My only wish is for more indoor seating—it’s a busy area and this location deserves a bit more space to sit and relax. That said, I’ll definitely keep coming back and would recommend it to anyone in the area.“

“The store is nice inside, with plenty of seating and is tidy, although the exterior needs a bit of maintenance.

The food and drinks were great as always! And the staff were very friendly.

The decoration is lovely

But the bathroom leaves much to be desired; it's too old, dirty, and poorly lit. It looks and feels very unhygienic. I think it's a major area that needs improvement.

The feeling of a place like the bathroom being dirty makes customers uncomfortable and displeased.

And considering that there are mothers who change their babies there and need a clean and dignified space, as well as senior citizens, people with disabilities, and regular customers without any specific need, I think a remodel would be a good idea.“

“Grabbed coffee here Saturday afternoon with a couple friends before we wandered around downtown Kingston, and the barista who made our flat whites actually remembered our order from a previous visit. The patio seating out front was perfect for people watching since the weather was so nice, and we ended up staying almost two hours just chatting. It gets busy around 2pm but the line moves fast and nobody rushes you out even when you're camped at a table. Honestly one of the better Starbucks locations I've been to, good energy and the kind of spot that makes a lazy weekend feel a bit more special.“

“Spacious, very friendly staff, aside from no one mentioning or asking about the Rewards app. Coffee not that strong, even with extra shot lattes. Allowed re-use cups which is always good as some places bizarrely don’t. Prices a bit on the high side for a simple latte. The cookies are always soft and "flexible", probably due to vegetable oils used in the manufacturing process. The good thing about Starbucks is that they allow you to bring external food in and eat it with your hot, or cold, beverage so long as you're not ripping the ass out of it and there's free wifi. Good for all the usual basic meeting with friends and socialising over a drink.“
