“I think I probably have had just about everything on your menu, and I loved everything. I also like that Stina is not pretentious.”

“Stopped here for breakfast because it was the closest to the highway, on our way home from Philly! And it was the best last minute decision I’ve ever made. The food was amazing, it came out quick, the staff was friendly and the prices were decent. I got eggs, bacon and hash browns, my gf got the Eggzilla, and said it made her “Egg-cited to start her day”. Yes she’s corny… I also got a Vietnamese Iced coffee with my meal, and it was so good I got one to go. Definitely make it a point to stop here if you’re in Philly!!!”
“From out of town. I came in last minute looking for a cake to celebrate my girlfriend’s birthday. They had a lovely assortment of ready to take cakes and they even offered to write on it even though I didn’t order ahead. They were super nice and accommodating. And the cake itself was INCREDIBLE. We got the Chocolate Mousse cake and it was so moist and flavorful! We were afraid the cake wouldn’t make the 12 hour trip back from Philly to KY, but sure enough it was pristine!!! Will definitely be back.”
“I had the Dubai chocolate latte with 3 pumps instead of 4 and it was perfect. I will say it needed more of the pistachios flavor. Chocolate was overpowering. Cinnamon roll was good. Strawberry cream cheese bagel my niece enjoyed as well as the hot chocolate. She’s 4”
“The first place we ate on our trip in Philly, and it was amazing! The staff was kind and welcoming, and the food was delicious. It was my first time eating Kofta, and it was very flavourful and filling.
Would definitely go again!”
“We had reservations for 6 for Sunday brunch. Tyler was our server. He was pleasant and attentive. The food was delicious with large portions. We enjoyed the atmosphere while dining. This restaurant is definitely one we will revisit.”

“Really good drinks!
Get on the list early. We came in at 10p on a Saturday night and didn't get into the bar until 12:15a.
We stayed until closing.
The drinks were delicious and we had a great time”

“We had a good, not great meal here. For the price (which was considerable) we were definitely expecting a bit more. The cocktails were great and the service great, the food was a bit underwhelming. We went with the tasting menu instead of a la carte and found the dishes good, but not anything particularly special. They were very accommodating with an allergy which was very nice. I'd like to try the bar menu but probably don't need another dining room experience.”
“It was alright, no complaints other than the sandwich being under seasoned. I heard a lot about this place but can't say it lived up to expectations. Not that it dissapointed either, just fell somewhere in the middle for me. Maybe I just visited on an off day but for the price I don't think I'd go back.”
“We ate here for the first time and I think this is the best place I’ve ever eaten. The staff was super friendly, they were very accommodating to my gluten allergy, and the food portions were huge. I really enjoyed everything. I wish they would open a restaurant on the Florida Panhandle or honestly anywhere within 8 hours drive of us.”
“This is my new favorite spot! The food is incredible and the drink menu is on point!”
“We went for dinner around 5pm today with a group of 7 and everything was fantastic!!! The food was so fresh and flavorful. You can definitely tell they put love into their food and pride themselves on great presentation. BYOB with great mixers and smoothies. The service was very attentive and friendly. Very cozy inviting atmosphere. Can't wait to go back!!”

“Tried the chips and guacamole while waiting for a friend who is getting a surgical procedure done. Everything was super fresh and delicious. I’m picky about guacamole but this was so good! I also got the white cheddar cheese cubes, they were also very good. The salads all look amazing, I wish I had tried one of those as well. I wish more places had one of these vending machines!”
“When I arrived at LAX late at night, I was disappointed to find that all the food options were closed. Hungry and unsure of what to get, I stumbled upon a Farmer’s Fridge vending machine and decided to give it a try. I chose the chicken Caesar salad, not expecting much, but I was pleasantly surprised. The ingredients were incredibly fresh, the flavors were well-balanced, and it tasted far better than I anticipated. It was a convenient and satisfying option, and I’d definitely grab one again in a pinch!”
“Café Albania is truly a gem! My wife and I make it a point to come here every Sunday for their incredible Albanian coffee, and it’s become one of our favorite weekly traditions. The coffee is rich, smooth, and authentic—just the way it should be. It’s the perfect way to start our Sunday.
But what really sets Café Albania apart is the exceptional service. The staff always greets us with a warm welcome and treats us like family. There’s a genuine sense of care and hospitality that makes the entire experience feel special every single time.
If you’re looking for a cozy spot with top-quality coffee and outstanding service, Café Albania is the place to be. We can’t recommend it enough!”
“Their prices is very reasonable for a case of cupcakes, and even cakes that you would see in a regular supermarket are reasonable. And the taste is amazing. Definitely recommend this place.”
“A very pleasant semi self serve offering dining inside or out was just the ticket for weary travelers----- And I don't find their prices at all out of line, as an example they had an iceberg lettuce good sized salad at the self serve for five bucks; a long with many other premade temptations. The daughter enjoyed a generous sied freshly made pepperoni . And my "Soulful Sunday Dinner" was scrumptious! Half a chicken baked and bbqd' served w collard greens and black eyed beans and don't forget the cornbread. The staff were all very helpful and the dining room was a Disney Animators Palette!”
“My friends and I decided to go to Parks On Tap at Columbus Square Park and we had a great time. The drinks were the best part but the food was nice as well. The staff was very hardworking!”
“We came across this place while we were in Philly last month,July. We were looking for a place to dine. It was our first time with Mediterranean cuisine. Positive ambience as soon as we walk in, our server ‘s name ELIF ( hope i remember it right)guided as through with menu selection and showed the best costumer service . I appreciated the complimentary bread and the hummus while waiting for the entree.I love the taste of it as freshly baked from the oven. Food portions are just right. The price is also decent. We concluded with a Turkey tea…it amazingly taste good. Will definitely visit this place again….to Elif, thank you very much.”
“The food was wonderful as the service was fast. I couldn’t believe the check. Extremely reasonable for all you get. I’d definitely recommend Kanella to anyone”

“This place is awesome. The food, the staff, the service were all top notch. It doesn’t feel like a stuffy 5 star restaurant but your food tastes every bit like it would at a 5 star. It’s BYOB and one of the wine bottle we brought had a cork that disintegrated and they kindly filtered it all out and put it in a decanter for us. Every single course was delicious!! We each got a different appetizer, two different entrées, and two different desserts. Every one of the appetizers was amazing, but I thought the wax beans by far were the best. The carrots were also delicious and everyone really loved the rice noodles too. Each dish was unique and super flavorful!! The steak appetizer was excellent. My scallops were good but not my favorite mix. The desserts were very good and we had to get them to go so I’m sure they would have been even better fresh. I will 1000% be back. Bravo Helm, you know what you’re doing!!!”
“I recently celebrated a milestone birthday with a dinner at Elwood with family and friends. Chef Adam and Jenny were wonderful to work with and the meal was absolutely delicious. Everyone loved the venison scrapple amuse bouche. We shared several orders of perogies and cheese platters to kick off the meal, followed by a couple of orders of the tri- tip beef, the sea bass, and the rabbit, which are served family style with a whole host of accompaniments, including exceptional mashed potato that got rave reviews and deserves it's own mention. Several of the diners had never had rabbit, but they all tried it and it was a hit! I already have plans to come with some friends for an afternoon tea, and my husband and I will definitely be back for dinner and/or one of the dining events that Chef Adam hosts. Adam & Jenny, thank you for my birthday dinner one to remember!💖”
“Hidden Gem! The staff- so delightful. Went for the first time and was guided by a magical lady who guided us on how to order. The food- QUALITY. The tacos are stuffed! Prices seem high but when you get the goods, it all makes sense. The two of use ordered a variety of tacos (6) and took two home with us because we were stuffed. Don’t pass on the aqua Fresca or cookies. Happy to have this style of tacos in south Philly. Thanks 💜Taco!”

“Waitress was very knowledgeable about the cuisine. Other staff were friendly and courteous. Food was excellent, tastes wonderful and plated beautifully. The interior might remind you of an old time elegant railroad car with curved ceiling, crystal chandeliers, etc. great place for special occasions.”
“Definitely the best Pho joint in Philly. This is one of the Pho 75 mini-chain restaurants starting in DC & Northern VA area (7 corners). Solid broth, chewy noodles and loads of different cut of meats. Add-on prices are also reasonable ($2.5 for meatballs as an example). Service is just meh... but you don't come here for service....”

“As a travel agent, food is important to me. I not only book for my clients, but I also make restaurant recommendations and WOW!!!!!! This place is it 😍😍😍 I took many photos last night of the food, the atmosphere felt as though I was not in Philadelphia, but far away on a perfect vacation dining at an amazing restaurant. I'm going to post my photos on my business page, people, if you want Greek food, THIS IS YOUR PLACE ☺️ Thank you for a wonderful hospitality and an amazing time my fiance and I will never forget.”

“Food so good I can’t wait to try the rest of the menu. Delicious drinks. Definitely coming back ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”
Fine Dining
“Everything was perfect from the moment I entered. The front host greeted me with a welcoming smile. I dined at the bar. My bartender was incredibly knowledgeable and walked me through a beautiful meal. Service was top notch. The team work was beautiful to watch. Great attention to detail. The food absolutely amazing. 5 stars”
“Perhaps the most magical dining experience we have ever had.... each and every time we've been there. Rachel creates unique, delicious, complex, surprising, beautifully presented vegan gourmet five course meals that are served by Ibo and Sally with kindness, skill, and passion. Magnificent anniversary celebration. Cannot wait to go back.”
“one of my favorite restaurants in Philadelphia and beyond. delicious and creative dishes, kind and present service, a thoughtful and complex wine list and beverage program in a very unique space overlooking south philly.
i’ve been here numerous times with different parties and i’ve always had a great experience. it’s also one of the few restaurants I can consistently get in with a last-minute reservation or walk-in while still feeling the place is lively and bumping every time I’m there. it’s a delicate balance and they nail it consistently. chef Michael’s food is excellent, bev director Michael has put together an awesome program and chef Ervis is such a handsome and gentle man who also happens to make great pastas. what a combo.
I love Irwin’s.”
“My first French cuisine experience did not disappoint. My son and I enjoyed a lovely meal and cocktails orchestrated by the best staff - Chef Clay, Beau (our server), and Alex(Bartender). From the first course I knew this was going to be one of, if not the best, dining experiences thus far in my lifetime. I highly recommend that everyone take the time to enjoy this fine dining establishment. You will not be disappointed.”
“Our first experience at a James Beard award winning restaurant (2017) and chef was incredible at Vernick Fish in Philadelphia to celebrate Trent’s graduation! I know now what this caliber of food and service means and all other restaurants pale in comparison to Vernick Fish and Greg Vernick(semi-finalist chef 2025). From the appetizers (dozen oysters from RI, MA, ME, PEI) to the drinks and main course were all uniquely exquisite and cannot be replicated anywhere else. The constant doting with new silverware at each course and cleaning of the table was undeniably royalty treatment. Even the bathroom was an experience-I need the hand lotion in my life (instantly made my hands look 30 years younger). The portions, ambiance and service were all equally perfect! I highly recommend you check out Vernick Fish. We will definitely return!”
“My friends and I had an amazing experience at Fabrika! We went for my birthday after hearing great things. The show and performers were spectacular. Very interactive and entertaining. The food and drinks were also delicious, and our server was so accommodating. And at the end, they open the dance floor, which is so fun! 10/10.”
“This is a very nice small BYOB Italian restaurant in the Fish town area. The food and service were exceptional. Love all the dishes we ordered. The prosciutto, focaccia and marinated tomatoes were all, excellent as starters. The Spaghetti pomodoro was perfectly cooked, especially the spaghetti. Claim linguine was cook to perfection and the claim was so fresh. The fried chicken Caesar salad was so good. Highly recommend to try.”
“We didn’t get to eat at Zahav - but got the next big thing and ordered the Lamb Meal from gold belly with salatim. It was DELICIOUS!! Best lamb we have ever had, so delicious. Salads were yummy, hummus well done and could easily feed 6 adults. So. Much. Food. If you can’t make it to the restaurant- order the kit from Goldbelly and treat yourself!”
“We ordered a medium steak at this restaurant, but both steaks we received were almost well-done. It was clearly overcooked and we pointed this out to our server. She cut into the center of the meat, acknowledged it immediately, and made me a new steak. The new meat was a satisfactory medium cooked steak. After that, the manager came and checked again to make sure there was no problem.
Overall, I think the service here is top notch. The distance between seats is appropriate, so it's not uncomfortable, and the interior is also great. I just think the quality of the steak taste wasn't as great as I expected. I think it's a great place to go to set the mood for a special day, or just have a glass of wine with a light menu. However, if your goal is to experience the best steak taste, we recommend going elsewhere.”
“My evening at Morimoto‘s will be the best memory of my visit to Philadelphia! If I was a local, I’d be in to have their Wasabi Watercress Caesar salad at least once a week. Brilliant! Service was excellent, all the food was lovely, and the restaurant itself, with its soft jewel-tone colors and wave-like forms, was a delight to be in.”
“From the beginning until the end of our dining experience, the service was impeccable and the food was exquisite. We ordered the 4-course and all dishes had great flavor. I don't drink alcohol, and their non-alcoholic options were creative and flavorful. I highly recommend”

“Loved dropping in here on a Saturday. Very relaxed vibes walking in here, perfect for a relaxed meet up, coffee or quick bite. My wife and I ordered the Ume Plum Tea, Vietnamese Latte, Khang’s Special Banh Mi, Crispy Tofu Banh Mi, and Doenjang Butter Fries. The Ume Plum Tea is so unique, and their Vietnamese Latte is the best I’ve had. Their food portions are big, and will definitely leave you full. Highly recommend this place!”
“I tried the salta here — and it was great — but the lamb Fahsa? Oh my god. Absolutely incredible. Perfectly seasoned, rich, and so filling. The bread portion was exactly what it should be: generous enough to fully enjoy the dish the way it’s meant to be eaten.
As a non-Yemeni Middle Easterner, this was my first real experience with Yemeni food, and I was blown away. I was so impressed that I later tried a Fahsa at another Yemeni spot just to compare — and it wasn’t even close to what I had here.
The atmosphere here is phenomenal, but not in the overdone, “look at our décor” kind of way. They don’t rely on flashy visuals or gimmicks — you walk in, order your food, sit down, and the focus is entirely on the food and the experience. That’s how you know a place is truly good.
The service was also top-notch — friendly, attentive, and genuine. You really can’t get any better than that.
If you’re looking for true, authentic Yemeni food, this is the spot. This is the spot. Whether you’re a tourist or someone craving proper Middle Eastern Yemeni cooking with the right portions, Hadramaut delivers every time.”
“We got there for an early dinner Saturday afternoon and immediately got a table. We put orders in and we’re fast served. The food was very delicious and well done. Good presentation, the server was very professional, ambient was clean and a pleasant music in the back. Good location on Drexel Campus. Easy to park on the streets.”
“If you’re in Philadelphia and looking for an authentic, flavorful, and heartfelt food experience, you have to visit La Chingonita in Fishtown. The food is absolutely delicious—a perfect fusion of Puerto Rican and Mexican flavors that creates a unique and unforgettable taste.
But what really makes this place stand out goes beyond the food. The owners treat their employees with so much respect and kindness, something that’s truly rare to see. You can feel the positive energy and the family-like atmosphere, and that reflects directly in the service.
The restaurant is also spotless in terms of cleanliness—everything is well taken care of from the kitchen to the dining area.
I highly recommend that everyone go check it out, enjoy this amazing “MexiRican” culinary experience, and support one of the best food ventures in the city. La Chingonita doesn’t just feed your stomach—it feeds your soul.”
“I went to Dienner’s on the recommendation of an acquaintance. It was absolutely delicious! I tried the original rotisserie wings and the smoked wings. The rotisserie were good, but the smoked wings were so good that I went back after finishing them and bought a pound to take home to DC. Don’t miss this spot in Reading Terminal. You’ll be sorry!”
“Highly recommend Dizengoff if you’re in Philly and craving authentic Middle Eastern flavors. This cozy spot, from chef Michael Solomonov delivers Israeli street food vibes with serious flavor. The Lamb Köfte wrap was amazing! 🌯 Fresh lamb meatballs, chopped Salad, Sumac Onions, Tehina, Israeli pickel, hot pepper, wrapped in pita Isralie Breakfast also a MUST try! Za’atar Omelette, Labneh, Schug, Olives, Chopped Salad, Pita Our table shared an unbelievably smooth and rich plate of Hummus Yerushalmi 🥙 Beef, Baharat, Pine Nuts, Parsley, served warm with pillowy, freshly baked pita that’s worth the trip alone. The atmosphere is casual and energetic, with friendly staff who are happy to explain the menu. WOULD LOVE TO SEE THIS CONCEPT IN BALTIMORE! 🇮🇱 ממש טעים”
“We ordered a large sample of their food: samosa chat, onion naan, Chana saag, lamb Rogan josh, yellow lentils, aloo gobi and raita. All of it was delicious, well spiced, the portions were large, and they gave us rice for every dish. It was enough food to feed four people for two nights with leftovers. My favorite was the lentils. Great place.”
“I grew up on homemade Middle Eastern food made daily by my parents, so I’m very picky when it comes to authenticity. I’ve tried a few places that just didn’t hit the mark—but AL SHAM in Chalfont is a straight 10/10!! They serve real Arabic bread (pita)—not tortillas disguised as pita like you find at other places—and their homemade Lebanese toum (garlic aioli) is the real deal. One bite of their falafel wrap instantly transported me to a boardwalk in Lebanon, overlooking the Mediterranean—complete with fresh bread, Lebanese pickles, and those perfect pickled turnips. The meat is 100% Halal and you can taste the quality. Flavorful, fresh, and clearly made with care. **This is the kind of spot you want to support. We’ll be back again and again—do yourself a favor and try them ASAP**”

“The food and service were outstanding and the ambiance was perfect for our Anniversary dinner.”
“Excellent friendly service and some truly remarkable food. Highly recommend.”
“Very very good. Was 200$ for 2 people not including tip. Chefs had limited English, but what they lacked in English they made up for in the best damn sushi around.”
“It was alright, no complaints other than the sandwich being under seasoned. I heard a lot about this place but can't say it lived up to expectations. Not that it dissapointed either, just fell somewhere in the middle for me. Maybe I just visited on an off day but for the price I don't think I'd go back.”
“Truly the absolute best gelato. The Desire is mind blowing. Everything from the incredible service to exceptional food to an amazing vibe was off the charts. I’d move to Philly just to eat here daily. Don’t hesitate.”
“I had snapper soup there. It was an 11 out of a possible 10. My wife had New England clam chowder it is (her score system) a 10 out of 10. Best ever. Unfortunately, they do not currently have snapper soup. Missing the old Bookbinder too. Signed, Old Philadelphia natives.”
“For me, Mr. Pig is now my go to Korean restaurant in my neighborhood. The space is big and well-ventilated - love watching the K-pop videos while enjoying. Staff is welcoming, friendly, and attentive. The menu is comprehensive, if you don't want to do BBQ, and you can pop in to just have a bowl of raemyung (cold noodles), so don't be intimidated. I just tried the Combo Beef BBQ for dinner, it was very good and plentiful. The namul (side dishes) are simple yet delicious - I personally love having the potato salad, my favorite. Everything was so yummy, I forgot to take photos. Next time.”
“I love this place, great food, lots of flavors to explore. wonderful staff, and seeing the owner front of house and behind the line was a beautiful experience 🦋. I cannot wait to come back and eat here again! 😀 Traveled from Utah to come eat here! (plus visit my son, that surprised us with reservations) a must visit if you get a chance to go! 🦋”
“The server was Great and personable. The wings in Flambo sauce were tasty and especially nice appetizer. Beef curry was tender and well prepared.”
“Outstanding service and dining experience. Phenomenal food. BYOB!”

“My best friend brought me to this hidden gem last summer for my birthday and surprised me with a return visit this year — and I swear, it just keeps getting better. Hands down, this might be the best Italian in Philly. The food doesn’t just sit pretty on the plate — it jumps out, grabs you by the soul, and gives you a warm, savory hug. Every bite is a bold, beautiful explosion of flavor that hits you in the heart and the taste buds. This place isn’t just dinner — it’s a love story in pasta form.”
“I had the Tomo roll. Best roll I ever had. Great combination of flavors.”
“Great covered outdoor patio along with tasty food - perfect combination.”
“Unique food, cozy, candlelit atmosphere. Our group enjoyed it tremendously. Highly recommend.”
“Wonderful intimate experience. Food was delicious, service was phenomenal. Pours on the drinks were a bit small and I would maybe skip on the drink pearing next time.”
“Everything we ordered was so good! Very friendly, nice server and the cook! Genuinely happy eating there. A restaurant where you can eat carefully selected dishes at a reasonable price!”
“My husband took me out to Philly for an early Mother’s Day gift. He said we were going to a “speakeasy” type bar in Chinatown but I didn’t believe him. When we got to an iron screen door, he was like this is it and I was like you got to be kidding me. The owner came out, asked my husband if he knew it was a cash bar took our ids then went inside. The owner brought back our ids then took us inside to a foyer where he told us the rules of the bar. Cash only, absolutely, no photography and no phones. If you need to take a phone call, you go back to foyer area or outside to not disturb people. We agreed to rules and went inside. The bar was dimly lit with candles on each table. The decor was amazing with pictures and antiques on the wall. We were sat at a table and given a cocktail menu. The cocktails were unique and separated by whiskey, gin, vodka and rum. If you need a light since it is so dim in the bar, they will bring you a light because they brought one to my husband. There were no beers on the menu so if that is what you’re looking for then this isn’t the place for you. We ordered our cocktails and they were amazing. Since there is no phone usage, you have more of an intimate experience with the person you are with because you aren’t distracted by your phone. We sat and talked while drinking our drinks. The owner came over and asked us about our drinks and how we were doing. We then ordered another round of drinks and continued talking. We enjoyed our time at Hop Sing Laundromat. Service was great, bartenders were great, owner was great, and the ambiance was amazing. This is a great date night spot for anyone who wants to enjoy a intimate setting with a cocktail or two. I would post pictures but again, No Photography so you would have to go in order to see it to believe it. You will enjoy this experience and not be disappointed.”
“Only been there twice, but was enthralled each time. These guys get it. The service is friendly and impeccable, the food is prepared meticulously, the dishes are creative and high quality. Love the mood of the place; the ambience is perfect. Highly recommend their jazz brunch.”
“Everyone loved every bite! One of my favorite brunch places in and around the city. Awesome food, and attentive service! #lEtsreAlesTate”

“Delicious!!! My friends and I were so excited to try Bar Jawn, especially since we’ve loved Pizza Jawn for a long time! The food and drinks were all fabulous - Bar Jawn has a chill, relaxed atmosphere but boasts an elevated bar menu that is so much more and so far beyond typical bar food! Some of our favorites were the drunken ravioli, the buffalo arancini (so inventive!!!), the chicken parm (make sure you get it with ravioli!), the mozzarella triangles (mozz sticks with an upgrade!) and the eggplant stack! So excited to come back as the menu changes and try even more awesome options! Thank you, Bar Jawn!”
“Pietramala is great. Definitely high end and pricey but casual and an experience to be savoured. Works best as share plates. Surprisingly food combinations, and all local ingredients from PA.”
“GLENN FIXED MY FRIENDS SHOE AND WAS AMAZING MADE AMAZING DRINKS YASSSSS WE LOVE GLENN”
“I came here for the first time last night, and from the moment I walked in I knew I would love it. The energy, the atmosphere, the service, the food—everything was amazing. Luis and his team have created such a warm and welcoming environment—it was truly a pleasure to experience. Can’t wait to go back! Thank you Luis :)”
“We had booked Veda for our daughter's wedding welcome dinner on 5/3/24. The whole process from the time we contacted them till we had our function was smooth. They were very accommodating to our requirements and went beyond our expectations. If you are looking to have a large gathering I will definitely recommend doing a buyout. We decided on the menu and then we were guests at our own dinner. It is full service. The ambience was good and our guests enjoyed both the food and their awesome selection of cocktails. Gaurav Bhardwaj and Brazil provided excellent service. Did I mention Food? Very Good and Flavorful. We are from Delhi and big foodies, and I must tell you that they superseded our expectations. The décor is very pleasant and we didn't need to do anything additional They provided us two stations for our henna ladies. Our function was a big hit. Check them out for your next baby shower, engagement, birthday function!!!!!”
“My friends and I had an amazing experience at Fabrika! We went for my birthday after hearing great things. The show and performers were spectacular. Very interactive and entertaining. The food and drinks were also delicious, and our server was so accommodating. And at the end, they open the dance floor, which is so fun! 10/10.”
“Our first time at Bistro Romano and won't be our last. Romantic, quiet and dark with a piano playing softly in the distance. Service is great and food is delicious, especially the Caesar salad. Lobster ravioli was lightly sauced, with plenty of lobster and tender pasta. My partner ordered the strip steak, which he said was ok but I thought it was pretty good. Warm olives, a first for me, was good but more than I could eat by myself. I'd like to try other options on the menu but Caesar salad will be on repeat.”
“Amazing service amazing bartenders Cecil is the man!!!! Big shout out for great selections and amazing drinks all night!!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”
“Shrimp and grits is amazing if I were home I would be licking the bowl. Bartender Kelsey was fantastic and very welcoming. Avocado toast is the best I have ever had.”
“We happened upon this gem purely by chance. We had an amazing meal from A-Z (!!!) The sushi is phenomenal; sit at the newly designed sushi bar in the back and enjoy unique daily catches that come in through the connections the owner has with local fishermen. The restaurant is also known for their aged steaks, and Kobe prime rib, which we will try next time. I had the miso black bass and it was one of the best flavors with fish I have ever had. The broth had such a delicate shiitake mushroom flavor, which I loved. I literally couldn’t have had enough of this delicate, delicious dish. I could have had two orders and eaten it all! I think this dish epitomizes what the word UMAMI means. I also had the sautéed mushroom extravaganza, a treat for every taste bud of incredible flavors melted with a delicate sauce. My husband had their unique collection of sushi and sashimi choices that were all enjoyed at their stunningly beautiful sushi bar, complete with two young, passionate chefs who love what they do, and treasure their personal designs of the fish and rolls. All the rolls are presented in this great wooden cradle design, which I thought was so unique and functional. The owner was all smiles and genuinely happy to have had us try his new restaurant. I recommend it highly for either an exceptional steak meal (all are btw, so reasonably priced so order them for sure), or the traditional sushi. You won’t be disappointed. This will be our weekly go-to restaurant and we are counting the days until we will return, which actually will be next Tuesday the 9th! Bravo to the whole team at Umami and thank you for your passion for Japanese food, and for doing it right from A-Z. We will see you soon! Debbie and Gene”
“Amazing atmosphere with incredible service and great food! Thank you Bellini!”
“🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
This is my absolute favorite neighborhood bar. The cocktails here are top-notch — not just well made, but surprisingly creative in their flavor combinations.
The space is cozy, welcoming, and makes you feel like you’ve just stepped into someone’s stylish living room. It’s the kind of place where you instantly feel at home.
It’s a shame it’s a bit tucked away from the main Fishtown traffic — not the kind of bar you stumble into by chance — but maybe that’s part of its charm. A hidden gem that locals know and love. 💎🍸”
“Ate there yesterday and friendly Atmosphere, very friendly and excellent food”
“The food was really good and it was my first time trying this place. The waitress, Shilpa, was very sweet. I would come back just to be served by her again. Thank you!”
“Just landed after midnight. Got to my place i am staying tonight. Wanted a drink and googled this place. Good vibes.
And my espresso martini was good. Nick the bartender was awesome and welcoming. First time in Philly for my bday week I'm impressed. Will be a regular here the next five days lol”
“Food was delicious and came out quickly. I’m happy we went with the puck & see ($65pp) because we were served some dishes I probably wouldn’t have picked and loved. I love fish sauce and lime so this is my type of food.
Shrimp- so good. Get this.
Cabbage- the sauce reminded me of American Chinese flavors. The cabbage texture was perfect.
Clams- I usually don’t like clams but the sauce wow
Khao soi- we requested this to be part of our meal and it was actually the least memorable for me. Solid dish
Fried rice- yum. Feeling quite full by the time this came out
Funnel cake- I didn’t know funnel cake could taste this good. Love
I hope to go back and try other dishes.”
“I moved to the neighborhood from Brooklyn recently. One day while walking around, I passed this unassuming place. The only indication that it was open was a chair outside with a bouquet of flowers to pin down a paper menu to the chair. The menu looked divine.
A few days later I walked past, showing my partner that the place almost seemed closed from the outside but was very cute inside. Someone who worked there came out as we were looking and was very kind, asking us if we had reservations yet. We said no but booked immediately.
The first time I visited, I had the sourdough, Marinated Mussels (hakurei turnips, miso, chili oil), Carrot (crab, brown butter), Shrimp (peaches, coppa, toasted marcona almonds), and Gnudi (corn& basil). It was an entirely no-skips meal. The mussels came cold, out of their shell, and the sauce was incredible. The “carrot” was more like a crab cake with coconut, brown butter, and an unidentifiable but delightful citrus. A perfect balance of rich & light. The gnudi seemed simple, but the lightly spicy sauce really pulled all the ingredients together. Finally, the shrimp with peaches really knocked my socks off. Lots of places will make “seasonal” menus but not put the effort into making sure that produce is top notch. The peaches would’ve been delicious on their own, but with the rest of the dish, they really shined.
The second time I went (just a few weeks later) I got the Chicory Salad (anchovy, buttermilk, comte), the Steelhead Trout (sungold tomato, perilla), and a tuna crudo special. I also re-ordered the bread, the carrot with crab, and the gnudi. Everything was just as good as last time, and the new additions were truly worth trying. Something as simple as a chicory salad can be so hit or miss - but WOW!
For dessert we had the cherry brown butter tart with crème fraiche. No complaints at all here.
Now I’ve rambled on plenty about the delicious food, which I will be back for very soon, but I truly haven’t ever been to a place with better service. The workers are extremely attentive and kind. I felt like I’ve known everyone there for a long time.
Thank you, Illata, for being such a wonderful neighborhood spot.”
“Victory Brewing Company in Philly is hands-down one of the best brewery stops I’ve made in a while. The space is awesome, the beer is next-level, and the staff? Let’s just say they seriously bring the place to life.
Shout-out to Paige behind the bar—super cool, funny, and yeah… HOT! She made the whole experience even better with great energy and solid beer recs. Total rockstar.
Speaking of beer, Kelly’s Hero was the standout for me—not just because it’s delicious, but because the proceeds go toward ALS research. That kind of purpose behind a pint makes it even more worth drinking. Love to see a place mixing great beer with a great cause.
Already planning my next visit!”
“We had a 60 th birthday celebration . Everything was amazing. We met the owners of the establishment. Very friendly 5 stars on everything”
“Food? DELICIOUS. Drinks? AMAZING. Service? TOP NOTCH. Staff? FRIENDLIEST people I've ever had the pleasure of meeting. I will be back. Count on it!”
“I love visiting Philly as frequently as time allows me. If your looking for an amazing little pub with brews from around the world then this place is for you! The mussels are amazing too, with fresh bread. yum!. Great services, good food, great brew! I Highly recommend!”
“This charming hidden gem of a restaurant near the Italian market in South Philly is the perfect date night spot. Very intimate, yet relaxed. There's great variety on the menu for all types of appetites and diners, and they have an impressive robust efficiency in the kitchen that serves up dishes at a great pace and quality. Recently went and tried their tasting menu and my entire service was completed in 90 minutes from the moment I walked in to the close of the bill. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐”
“visited Philly 2 years ago on business and went to this spot on a whim and we were blown away with the portions. just had the pleasure of eating here a couple days ago once again and was not disappointed. the size of the sandwiches are insane and they're delicious. service was excellent, our waiter was hilarious. can't wait to go and visit again!”
“Food was absolutely delicious! Everything was so fresh and the servers helped us cook our meats. So many sides and options! Pricey, but worth it every once in a while in our opinion. Loved it!
4 for atmosphere because it was a little loud and the ventilation wasn’t great for such a small restaurant.”
“Try the Colombian tradition, fresh and healthy, you have plenty of options”
“Wow, what an amazing outdoor teppanyaki experience in the backyard! The food was absolutely delicious, with the meat cooked to perfection on the hot plate—tender, juicy, and full of flavor. The host was so welcoming and friendly, making us feel right at home. The whole atmosphere was lively and fun, with everyone enjoying the great food and good company. It's a fantastic way to spend time with friends and family. I highly recommend this backyard teppanyaki to anyone looking for a unique and enjoyable dining experience!”
“Get the brisket nachos , delicious ! Drinks we’re good , service was great , will return !”
“I find it an awesome place to sit outside with great drinks and a great happy hour especially the nachos just wish they added chorizo on the nacho’s for happy hour. Nice to relax here last night was the Phillies game and it was great👍”

“I was looking for roast crispy duck. I didn't want to go to Chinatown because its gotten rundown, yucky traffic, expensive parking and horrible SEPTA. I decided to stay in my neighborhood so I could walk. I worried about it being expensive. Chestnut Hill is high end and the restaurant looked pricey. What a WONDERFUL SURPRISE! I was a solo table but still treated like a queen with lots of servers checking in, giving water and smiling. The roast duck in black bean sauce on the cast iron plate was SCRUMPTIOUS. It comes with a healthy side of white rice and delicate, flavorful bok choi. The skin was crispy yet NOT oily or greasy. The CHUNKS of tender duck meat were excellent. The sauce was thick, savory and yummy. FOODGASM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The portion was so healthy that I was able to take a container home for lunch the next day. Then I ordered the Mudslide ice cream pie for dessert. PERFECTION. Dense, creamy, sweet but not cloying with nut accents, fresh strawberries and cream as garnish. Cool treat on a humid Summer night. When the bill came, I was shocked that it was less than $40. I did not order a cocktail because I wanted to concentrate on the food. I gave them a big tip and said I am absolutely returning. I am also addicted to their spring rolls too. Two perfect crunchy flaky rolls filled with a balanced combination of shrimp, cheese, and cabbage that you can dip in duck sauce or mustard or just enjoy plain.”

“Thank heavens for Colonial Beach Local Foodie’s referral. Meet a gentleman at Thousand Trails resort just outside of Colonial Beach Va. that had a thick Upstate NY accent. We preceded to reminisce about family in Upstate NY,, of course food rolled into the conversation,. That’s how I came across Nonna Lena’s Italian Cuisine. I stopped by the restaurant by myself a couple of later.. Thought I’d get a quick lunch fix. Wrong! My eyes nearly popped out of my head when I the chief my plate of Eggplant Parmesan. What a wonderful freshly made dinner (plus leftovers for 2 extra meals). The staff all were very friendly. Chiefly came out to see how I liked my meal. He shared some details about the newly open restaurant & homemade recipes, etc. He mentioned breakfast was also served and somehow in the conversation he decided to send me home with a sample of sausages & gravy along with my husbands meal. OMGoodness, the next day my breakfast was fantastic. Foodie’s note. Their food is prepared fresh from scratch daily😊. Don’t past by Colonial Beach Va. without dinning at Nonna Lena’s Italian several times.”
“My experience with the Waterfall Room was outstanding! It was a pleasure working with Crystal. She answered all of my emails quickly, calmed all of my anxiety, and came through with a party that people will be talking about for a long time. The room was set up beautifully; the food was delicious; and the staff was very attentive during the entire evening. Sal, the m'aitre d' was fantastic! He stayed the entire evening making sure that everything ran smoothly and all of our needs were met. I highly recommend the folks at Swan Caterers if you are celebrating an occasion that will be remembered for a long time!”
“I've ordered takeout many times before, but I've never left a comment—until now. I've tried several Indian restaurants, but the food from Kazi's Tandoor & Grill stands out. It tastes excellent, especially the Chicken Biriyani. I have no idea how they make the biriyani rice so aromatic while keeping the fat content so low. Chicken often has a strong smell and aftertaste, particularly when reheated—but not this biriyani. I have to give it a 5-star rating. Honestly, I don't even have the words to fully express how impressed I am with this dish. I'm also curious about the kind of rice they use in the biriyani—it must be top-quality, definitely not regular Basmati.”
“My Loup is an absolute gem in Philadelphia. The atmosphere and overall vibe were spot on - chic and inviting. From the moment we arrived, the staff was outstanding : attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely welcoming. The menu was quite creative and the combinations of flavor really stood out! One of the chefs, Sage, even came out to speak to us and walk us through the entire menu. That personal touch made the evening feel more special. My Loup is more than a meal, it's an experience for sure! We can't wait to go back.”
“This place has been up the street from my house for a few years, but we’ve never ordered from them. I was in the mood for Italian (which I never order out for because I am Italian , and it never tastes like homemade), but what a surprise! My husband and I split a Chicken Cutlet Maria…OMG! It was fabulous! We also ordered the breaded eggplant appetizer….it was out of this world! I’m writing this a week later on a Saturday afternoon, and I’m already wanting to order from them again for dinner tonight! All I can say is PERFECTO!!!😍”

“We ate outside at Parc mid-afternoon today to celebrate our 61st anniversary with our family, including our granddog. Our meal was luscious throughout, though we were too full for dessert❣️I must say, the highlight for me was the tomato tart, which was delicate but hearty, and totally scrumptious. Thanks for a wonderful meal, and as always, we look forward to our next visit.”
“Just wrapped up a "steak-out" at Geno's Steaks in South Philly legendary landmark that draws tourists like moths to a flame. Or me to the Bat signal. And let me tell you, this place is a Gotham-sized slice of Philly flavor! The fluorescent lights and bustling energy felt like a scene straight outta Joker's Gotham night club. I went with the classic "Whiz Without"—that's Philly code for a cheesesteak with Cheez Whiz and no fried onions, for all you Bat-fans out there. One bite, and I was hooked. The thinly sliced steak, melty cheese, and soft roll created a symphony of flavors that would make even the Penguin surrender his lunch money. But Geno's ain't just about cheesesteaks, folks. Their cheese fries, ordered from the separate window where you get fries and sodas, are a gooey, delicious crime against healthy eating. Coke products available to drink. And Cherry peppers, relish, ketchup, and mustard are free and self-serve. While I devoured my feast, I couldn't help but notice the wall adorned with police patches from across the U.S. – a tribute to the thin blue line that reminded me of my own crusade for justice. Snapped a pic in front of it, a symbol of the shared fight for good that unites us all. Overall, Geno's Steaks lives up to its legendary reputation. It's a taste of Philly history, a tribute to the everyday heroes, and a cheesesteak experience that'll leave you saying, "Yo, that was good shtuff".”
“Wow, wow, wow!! What a wonderful experience! The food and ambiance are among the best ive had in a while. We don't do FANCY dining all that often, but this place had a great, relaxed, retro vibe with some really (for us) adventurous dishes. First, The Continental is lesss John Wick and more “Lincoln”, as you'll see from the car seat booths. The French Onion Soup Dumplings were fantastic, and the service was spot on. This is definitely a spot to come back to!”
“This was one of our best restaurant experiences ever. Willie the bartender was amazing and his drinks, heaven in a glass 🍸 We had the rib eye, filet, scalloped potatoes, wagu meatball, crab cocktail, butter cake, and cheesecake. Every morsel was divine! A must see for any special occasion. It was our 35th anniversary.”
“This is our first time to Philadelphia and we are big Stallone/Rocky fans so we were excited to try this restaurant where some of Rocky Balboa and Creed was filmed. This was one of the best dining experiences with phenomenal entrees, excellent staff, beautiful atmosphere and amazing entertainment with the wait staff breaking into operatic song!! 10/10 recommend!!”

“Stopped in the other night to meet my husband for a drink and to try out the new place, the host was very helpful and friendly we ended up chatting for a bit while I waited. I had the martini and while I don’t know what makes it “world famous” I know it was delicious and I’d definitely drink it again”
“The real deal. Beer from Two Locals, food from Liberty Kitchen. Social bar vibe, with lots of long standing height and low tables, good music. The beer is out of this world. I had a very fine witbier (Who You Wit?) and a Nubian brown ale. Both were excellent, but the Nubian is one of the finest beers I have had in quite some time. They are not kidding about the coffee finish. The Liberty hoagies are huge and absolutely delicious. Had the jerk chicken salad hoagie, and every bite was amazing. Will definitely be back!”
“I didn’t even get a chance to take a picture I just started eating the wings up! The grilled wings are too good not to order. This was my first time there and they had given me a sample after trying the regular I had to go back and get the grilled. That’s my new spot for now and it’s affordable!”
“Atiya checked us in and was quite a delight to work with. She and Angelo were at the front desk and gave us some great insight and information about the venue, the food, the layout, and the best times to come. Mike was our bartender and he gave me all Philly energy I needed. He was relatable, efficient, engaging and knowledgeable. Please pass along my appreciation and thanks to all those mentioned above, you all made my visit to F1 Philadelphia absolutely memorable and worth a repeat visit!”
“They’re offering an all you can eat dim sum special from 11 AM-4 PM for just $16.99 per person, plus $2 for tea. The food is a solid 3.5 out of 5, but the value is unbeatable, five stars for price alone. All you can eat dim sum is a rare find in the city and definitely worth checking out. The taro bun was my favorite.”
“Best elote I've had in ages, and the Jamaica agua fresca was perfect, not too sweet for me. But I was a little disappointed by the sweet potato tacos. They were very fresh, but didn't seem to have much in the way of seasoning. I refused their offer of hot sauce cuz I was eating on the road and didn't want them to be too messy, but that was a mistake. Even so, I'm really happy to have another great Mexican option in the neighborhood, so next time I'll try one of the meat options just in case it's just that they don't put as much focus on the veggie tacos.”
“The restaurant is beautiful! An old building so thoughtfully restored while maintaining many original elements. The ambiance is very special, with warm lighting, comfortable chairs, a sleek bar, and excellent hospitality. Food was fabulous, full of pleasant surprises. Steak tartar, roasted cabbage, scallop gratin, trout boullabaise, and the frites, were some of the standouts of our selections. Seriously, some of the best frites ever consumed. Dessert was special as well. Thank you for a wonderful experience!”
“When Dear Daphni first opened it used to be my favorite happy hour spot in Philly. I appreciated the emphasis on the middle eastern tradition of sharing food at the table. Everything is delicious and plentiful. I liked having an alternative to Laser Wolf that was not supporting Michael Solomonov, as I don’t approve of his business practices or values. It was nice to be able to have a good value drink and vegetarian meal.
This last visit we were informed that they now charge a la carte for everything with no refills. What was once the best deal in Philly now is the same as you’ll find at any overpriced restaurant. While the food is still amazing, it doesn’t stand out from the crowd now that they’ve strayed from those values. I understand the rising prices of food everywhere. But to go from free unlimited mezze, rice, and dessert with any entree right to an extra $36 with no refills was simply absurd. I think this could have been done in a way that at least eases you into price increases. Maybe have fewer mezze, even one mezze special. Maybe include free refills. Maybe charge a la carte per mezze. This change is going to leave many customers feeling blindsided and it breaks trust with regulars like me. I would still recommend the delicious food here, but it’s no longer a top restaurant in Philly for me. I am sad because I used to recommend this spot to everyone, now I am more hesitant. (As a side note they also got rid of my favorite mezze, the pistachio dip. double whammy…)
That being said, almost everything I have tried is so good. The hummus, muhammara, salmon kebab, eggplant, broccoli, ice cream, and all drinks are spectacular. The greek salad and filo saganaki left me less than impressed. I just think they need more vegetarian options for entrees now that you have to pay for the mezze.
Literally grieving this place! It was good while it lasted :(”
“Fantastic menu; great atmosphere; friendly efficient staff; loved it.”
