“Truly a hiddent jewel south of Old Town Alexandria. If I had been blindfolded and didn't know that I entered the establishment via the parking lot of Belle View Shopping Center I would have thought I was in an upscaled restaurant in downtown DC. This has become our favorite date night spot. Delicious food options and creative cocktails along with exceptional service (Brett) made our evening one to remember. I love a well made Old Fashioned and I wasn't disappointed. The secret ingredient of the quarter branch apple brandy took it to next level. We are looking forward to our next date night already!“

“We stopped at Jack’s Place in Old Town for breakfast and absolutely loved it! The breakfast was great, the service was friendly, and then they really won me over. I asked if they could make me a spicy chicken sub to take with me for later—and OMG. Best sub ever. Seriously. It was spicy, flavorful, and absolutely delicious.

I love a place that does the classics well but is also willing to make you something a little different. Great breakfast, awesome people, and apparently they make a killer spicy chicken sub too. 😂

“My mom and I had an amazing time at Milk & Honey. We ordered the honey biscuits, collared greens, and banana pudding for dessert - so yummy! I would reccomend all of those dishes. Our server Kenzie was amazing! She was so accommodating and made us feel at home. She really made our experience special.

Portions are Enormous. The platters come heaped with rice, a massive pile of protein, and a crisp Mediterranean salad blend. Order a side of warm pita, and you easily have two full meals packed into one tray.
Lightning-fast output whether you're grabbing a late-night bite or ordering takeout delivery. The food stays burning hot in the container, and the sauces come generously on the side so nothing gets soggy.
Straightforward, high-turnover casual spot. It’s clean and efficient, but heavily geared toward quick pick-ups and delivery rather than an extended sit-down experience.

“The Addis Teff is delicious. Good flavor and pairs well with food. Was really good with the smoked sweet swiss cheese from the Fresh Mkt. I first tried one in a choose your own 6 pack and was hooked. The lager was good, but this is my favorite. I tried it because I'd never heard of beer made from Teff, and I like trying new things. I wish Fresh Mkt had the honey one as well. I have bought the Addis Teff a few times now. Someday I want to visit the brewery!“

“First time back since renovations and wow what a story this place is. It started with the chicken & waffles. The meat was really pink and hard to bite into so I decided to do french toast instead. (Minus the almond cookies.) and it was delicious but it was soft as butter so I had to request a spoon 😮 On top of that, the bartender complimented not only my neurodivergent tattoos 🏳️‍🌈♾️ but also gave me a free mocktail. Though I will warn you it’s real strong. I tasted mostly lemon but it had a hint of maple and tea. Which is ironic because strong taste is why I prefer tea over coffee (if I had to pick between the two). Regardless, these people deserve some love especially in the economic crises we have.“

“One of the best ice cream shops I’ve been to in a long time, I was pleasantly surprised to find homemade custard. The root beer was delightful in my root beer float and you can definitely taste the honey flavors the root beer was made with. The vanilla custard was refreshing and fantastic. I got there 30 minutes prior to closing and the place had a line out the door. It was a fast line and worth the short wait time. I understand now why it was so popular and I look forward to trying more from the menu in the future. They had a lot of great options and accommodations for almost anyone such as sorbet. Really cute area and if you go across the street and down a little there’s more seating to sit and eat your delicious treat outside. There’s also a cute little garden spot directly across the street too with a few seats and a spot for a treat for your dog in the mail box. I would 100% recommend this spot but expect it to be busy.“

“The food was good, quick and tasty. I only had one dish and that was enough two a second meal for a lunch so I am glad I didn't order an appetizer cause then I would have so full. The portion size is good for the price of the dish. The dish I has was the beef green curry and it was very good with the right level of heat. The red wine selection was also very decent and I would go back for their daily happy hour for $8 glasses and deals of appetizers. This is certainly a place I will have to explore and try other items. Looking forward to the traditional Pad Thai as well as some of the other curries. And a really good Thai styled spring roll.“

Whether it’s a celebration or just a craving, there’s something special about the combination of that signature cream cheese frosting and the perfectly baked bundt cake.
