“Huge portions. Good prices , sign on the board is what you pay incl. taxes.
It was quite fast despite being really busy. I prefer takeout from here as the seating for the food court is usually packed.
This time tried the chicken nuggets + rice set meal this came with veggies ,egg and tofu for $14. Chicken is always really fresh , hot and crispy.
Like most stalls it is cash only ( or wechat/ alipay I think ). Sometimes they also have offers / coupons through Fantuan app even for pickup.“

“This place serves truly authentic Sichuan-style skewers — the flavors are rich, spicy, and exactly how they should be. All the ingredients are incredibly fresh and well-prepared. My personal favorites are the beef tongue, pork brain, chicken heart, beef tripe, and the tender beef slices — each one cooked to perfection and full of flavor. The service is exceptionally warm and attentive, making the whole dining experience very enjoyable and memorable.“

“Spicy Pro Hot Pot 8542 Granville St, Vancouver, BC V6P 4Z7 Spicy Pro Hot Pot brings a unique and thoroughly enjoyable new dining experience to our neighborhood of Marpole. The aroma of the soup bases wafting from the modest storefront will stop you in your tracks and draw you inside. After choosing from a wide array of ingredients to add to one of three delicious soup bases, you can relax and enjoy the fun and cozy ambiance while the kitchen prepares your dish. When it arrives at your table in a generously large and elegant serving bowl you will immediately notice the care with which it has been assembled. Presentation is not lacking here and the money is being spent in the right place: the kitchen! I and my partner are not light eaters, and we come away stuffed and blissed-out for less than $50. The staff provide patient and thoughtful assistance to new customers choosing their ingredients and spice level for the first time. We love spicy food and usually order things hot, but the mild level is just right for us here.“

“This was my first taste of Indo-Chinese food, and I was delighted. We shared a number of plates family-style and everything hit the mark. The steamed goat momos and chicken curry were standouts, but I’m sure you can’t go wrong with anything here. The owner, Sharvan, is an absolute sweetheart along with his wife, Hannah, who’s tremendously talented in the kitchen. Will absolutely be coming back!“

“First time hot potting. The waiter was so helpful and the food was delicious!!! We will definitely be back again!“
“The xiao long bao is very good. Nice and big, very juicy and nicely seasoned and not porky tasting. This small food court stall is making some of the best dumplings around. The pan fried dumplings were also tasty and juicy and the won ton soup was packed with wonton. Service is sooo friendly and welcoming. Worth trying to find this place upstairs in this food court near rice world. They sell out of the pan fried buns so don't go too late!“

“A few days ago, I went sea fishing and ended up at this restaurant. We asked them to prepare our seafood. The lady boss's impeccable service was the epitome of quality service! It was the first time I'd experienced genuinely friendly service in Canada! On our third day back in Winnipeg, I still couldn't forget the first three pickles: the crispy, sweet and sour cucumber, the shredded potatoes fragrant with chili oil, and the radish. The subtle salty and sweet flavors, combined with the slightly spicy and refreshing aroma, were simply perfect!
Both methods of preparing Dungeness crab are perfect, bringing out different flavors while retaining the sweetness of the crab meat. It's really great!!! As a food lover, I really hope there is a restaurant like this in Winnipeg!“

“I tried this place for the first time yesterday. I had the special cheeseburger with egg . The patty was a good size and fresh meat not frozen, I will definitely go back ! I checked out the other menu items and I am looking forward to trying many of them , the prices are great !“
“We were here on a rainy Monday afternoon, and it was great that we didn’t need to wait to be seated. There is complimentary fruit dices and sunflower seeds while we were waiting. We ordered rabbit and chicken offals, and both of them were super numbing and spicy, and of course, tasty. The waiter was super attentive, get clean plates and add water before we even asked. Sadly we drove all the way from Calgary here and we can’t come and eat often, but definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone who likes authentic Szechuan food!“

“Chinese Crispy Burger and Biang Biang Noodles (medium spicy). So good! Busy shop so either order ahead or expect a bit of a wait. The wait is more than worth it!
It’s a storefront restaurant with a few tables in a bright and reasonably pleasant part of a mall. Will be back again!“

“We’ve visited this place several times, and the food never disappoints — always tasty and satisfying.
The prices are reasonable and the service is consistently good.
Just a tip: avoid public holidays or rush hours if you’re starving, haha!“

“The rice rolls are the star of the show here. They're pretty tasty! They also have congee which is also decent. They can be crazy busy with a line and a wait sometimes, but other times I go and there's only a few tables occupied. I can't spy a pattern to it!“

“It is actually good value to order half a Hainanese chicken combo, including oil white rice and a broth on the side. It is big enough for 2 people. I will definitely come back.
Their service is fast. At lunch rush, Empire Centre food court is a busy place. So, even the vendor prepares your food fast, you may still need to be patient to locate a table.“

“Drama Hotpot Richmond is my new comfort spot!
Their slogan says it all — “Life is drama, pot is hot.” And honestly, when life feels chaotic, this is the perfect place to eat your stress away. The ingredients are always fresh, the broth is rich and flavourful, and everything cooks perfectly.
Don’t skip their deep-fried section — the wings and sausages are a must-try and pair so well with the hotpot. Portions are generous and you can taste the quality in every bite.
The staff are friendly, fast, and always make sure you’re taken care of. The whole place just feels cozy and comforting, like a warm reset button after a long day.
If you love hotpot, or you just need a little happiness in a pot, Drama Hotpot Richmond is the place. Highly recommend! 🍲🔥“

“We usually come here for dinner. It was our first time thing their brunch. Highly recommend trying their xiao long bao and sesame chicken noodles for brunch. We got our fave dong bo Rou as well 😆 didn’t think that would be available for lunch but it is so we ordered it. I love that the sauce is slightly sweet and the meat ks super tender. Remember to order their mapo tofu. It’s only $3.95 and it’s not a typo 😉“

“The logo looks like a deli/meat store but it’s actually part of a chain. I haven’t tried the others (all a bit different) but this one came highly recommended by our foodie friends. Food: 5/5 - They have 12 must-order dishes including a fried eggplant 🍆 which was SO GOOD. A blast of flavour including spicy, savoury, sweet, and herb-y🌿? It was lightly fried and not too oily. Basically I loved it. Our second dish was not from the must-try only because I’m a huge sucker for sour-spicy clear noodles of any type. Although it was not as good as my favourite version of this dish from the Aberdeen food court (Sichuan style) HOWEVER Richie could actually eat this one because it wasn’t as spicy haha🔥. Essentially a “lighter” version but still packed with flavour. It came on a hard-to-reach, raised bowl but I think that’s easy enough to tweak. The restaurant is still new and feeling things out. Our last dish was an omu-rice mapo tofu (lol) and Richie loved it, “It hits the right flavour in every way - not too salty, not too spicy, great tangy-ness, a little oily but immensely appetizing.” The manager said that they make the chili oil and spices from scratch. Prior to our visit we also tried their “sauce duck” or 酱鸭 which is a “thick” soy sauce, sweet duck (think Cantonese/HK roasted duck but sweet) which might not be for everyone but it’s interesting and worth trying if you like food that’s both sweet and salty. There’s also a Nanjing salted duck that we’ll try next time😊. Service: 4/5 - There was only one server aside from the manager today but both were wonderful at checking in and very quick to react to our needs. It’s also the first weekend of “dining-in” again so I wouldn’t hold it against them. Price: $$ - They have a good mix of affordable and fancy choices alike. Ambiance: 3.5/5 - My only complaint is that it’s a too bright inside (I think mood is very important) and I’m not sure what they want to be. It’s not exactly fine dining nor is it casual, nor fun/hip. But the food is good enough that it doesn’t matter. I think we will enjoying coming here and slowing trying everything. #richmondeats #vancityeats“

“I really like the soup. Lots of options to put in the hotpot, and the beef is super cheap at night. The spicy beef tallow broth hit the right spot for me, which is great because I don’t find most spicy options satisfying. I also like the fried buns.
If I could ask for one thing though, I would like if there were more option for single people. The prices were definitely made with groups in mind but I would love to go here alone. Otherwise I’m very satisfied.
P.S: I like Jiabao’s style“
“I was so surprised and very happy with how good everything was! the person at the front helped me so much with all my questions and explained which to get. I ended up with the beef mushroom and because I got the large, I got an egg. There was so much food I had to save it for the next day! Next time I come, I’ll be getting the curry beef as that looked just as good!“

“Very special place built with North-east China style no matter the renovation or food menu - Iron Pot Stew(鐵鍋燉).
A over 700 mm/24 inches diameter big iron pot stay in the central of the table for all people to share the big stew, which is the unique culture from North East China.
Each fresh cook dishes provided more ingredients than other Chinese restaurants which is very North East. In mandarin, people said 這很東北(this is very North East) which means really authentic North East China tradition.
Also the price is really fair for budget and quality, tested very good with high quality.
When you order any kind of side dish for the Iron Pot Stew, servers come to serve you as the video shown.
No matter you are Chinese want have some authentic North East Chinese cuisine, or anyone have interest to enjoy those huge Iron Pot Stew, here will be your best option.“

“One of the best for dry pots. I tried the place a few times when I was living in Richmond, but only take aways. So this is my first time dining in. As always, the food is just great, and the servers are very friendly.
Pay attention to the Spicy level. If you have not been there before I strongly recommend starting with light spicy. In other standards, this is very spicy.
One note to the management Since the food takes some time to make, which is understandable. I strongly recommend adding 3 to 4 starter plates on the menu. Something very simple like Chinese salad or Chinese pickles. This will have people consume more instead of waiting for the food.“

“My family and I came here because I heard it was really good from a friend. When we arrived it was still closed but the lineup was already starting. The key is in the details. I ordered haianese chicken rice combo meal. They added garlic in the rice. The soup!!! My goodness the soup had so many good ingredients. My parents ordered noodle soup and they finished everything. Highly recommend this place to anyone.“

“Solo lunch today, saw there lunch special on a YouTube review, had to come check it out. I tried their dinner menu, it was very good.
This time just ordered the Singapore style (curry) chow fun, very tasty. I did asked for extra eggs.
Service was not bad, good attitude, but just 1 server for lunch, very busy for her, kinda feel bad, but very typical in Chinese restaurants
Decor is very basic, you come here for the food“

“OMG! Love this HK-style fast food hole-in-the-wall place -and open early mornings! Bare bones fast service, simple menu, comfort foods (HK Cafe cuisine if u know what that is), under $20 for myself, a satisfying quickie first thing in the morning. Very friendly warm service - order at the counter - then seat yourself. I said “keep the change” (in broken Cantonese) which is a “tip-off” that they should probably speak English to me - and they did, albeit I held my own upto that point 😂 having never spoken a single word of English the whole time, but they graciously accommodated me in English. I understand it can be intimidating but their menus are in English with abundant photos, so ordering is easy. A healthier alternative to bacon & eggs! Ample free parking. Take out also. Looking forward to coming again often.“
“🍲 Hao’s Lamb Restaurant
👉🏻 A fantastic spot for authentic northern Chinese-style lamb dishes! The food is flavorful, rich, and perfectly cooked. The dishes I ordered (lamb hot pot, fried lamb) were all delicious — tender lamb with deep, savory seasoning, well-balanced sides, and generous portions. You can really taste the quality and care in every bite. 🐑🔥
💁🏼 Service: 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
👉🏻 The staff were polite, efficient, and friendly. They served everything promptly and made sure we had a great dining experience from start to finish. 🙌🏼
🍽️ Environment: 🌟🌟🌟🌟
👉🏻 Plenty of parking 🅿️ lot but need to register 4hours free parking at front desk. The restaurant has a clean, traditional feel with comfortable seating and a warm atmosphere. It’s a great place to enjoy a hearty, family-style meal. ✨“

“Delicious and generous portions of food no matter how many dishes you get. I ordered the three dish combo which was $16.99 and came with soup, three dishes, and rice. All the food was a bit oily but really good including the eggplant, sweet and sour pork, and the deep fried squid. They piled the box high with food and two people were able to share one three combo platter and be completely stuffed after.“

“Food 4/5: it’s rare to find a good All You Can Eat (AYCE) place in the lower mainland at $17.99 per adult! There’s a good variety of Chinese food. Some of the food options are mild-to-medium spicy by Canadian standards. There are also non-spicy options.
First you pay, then you’re give a stainless steel plate. You had it to the server and tell them what you want. If you paid for AYCE, then you bring the same plate back for more.
Service: You grab your own free tea and water. When you’re done, you leave your plate at the table.
Atmosphere: it was about half full when we went on Saturday during lunch with a mix of families, couples and individuals.“

“I highly recommend this place. Typical hole in the wall, with very nice contemporary ambience. A few tables in a room with very pretty drawings and doodling on the walls. The menus are in Chinese but the guy at the counter speaks English and volunteers to help you order. His claim is that “no other place in Vancouver offers authentic Chinese food like he does”. I believe him. The food was not oily, veges delicately cut and cooked, not too much sauce, delicate flavours intertwined with perfect cooking of the meats. Rice is on the house. Loved every single dish we ordered. I actually haven’t eaten such good Chinese food anywhere except at a colleagues house back in China. And that’s why the food is so good; it’ll remind u of home cooked food in China.“

“Had dinner at Xiangchuan Mansion in Richmond and was really impressed with the food. Every dish we ordered was flavorful, well-balanced, and had that perfect level of spiciness that brings out the aroma without overwhelming the palate. The flavors work beautifully with rice — rich, layered, and truly satisfying.
The presentation of the dishes was also great; everything came out looking appetizing and neatly plated. The dining environment is clean, modern, and comfortable — a good place to enjoy a relaxed meal with friends or family.
Service-wise, the staff were polite and efficient. Nothing particularly outstanding, but everything ran smoothly, and the food came out in good timing. The real highlight here is definitely the food — authentic, delicious, and consistent across the board. I’d happily come back again for another meal.“

“I recently visited Good Nine Korean BBQ, and everything was totally worth it . All the meats I tried were super juicy and fresh. I went there for the pork belly, but I enjoyed the galbi more. Non-marinated galbi was incredibly tender, and the beef tongue was perfect with just lemon and salt. Eating the pork belly with wasabi was another twist.
The staff were very friendly, their grilling skills were excellent. If you’re looking for great Korean BBQ with a pleasant atmosphere, I highly recommend this place. And don’t forget to try their naengmyeon—it’s a must!“

“Situated inside Aberdeen mall. This place nails the classics like crispy chicken. Usually that is a more expensive dish but a lot of places make it really dry. This place got it right. Super juicy chicken, even the white meat. They also have few unique dishes. Loved the basil fried pork chop. Great place for family dinner. Great service. Our waitress was bustling but attentive. Refilling waters and switching plates.“
“I’ve only tried the pork sandwich and was totally blown away. The meat was flavourful and juicy. The bread was like a croiffle. Super flaky and crispy. The sandwich is a must try but I’ll be coming back to try some of their noodle dishes.“

“Small group of 3, at 5 pm on a Saturday; was seated immediately & informed that chef's house special soya chicken was ready for serving, so we agreed to try. The chicken was perfectly done, smooth in texture & tasty with lightly sweetened soya sauce ... Even tasted a hint of alcohol in the marinade.
The beef w greens: beef was fried & tender, gai lan was thin stalked & perfect amt of fresh crunch.
Also ordered fettuccine w prawns, cheese & bacon.
Noodles served al dented, was also tasty.
Also ordered duck egg yolk king prawns -- very delicious!!
Complimentary house soup was also delicious.
First time in a long time, to see most wait staff happy, workg as a team, adept at consistently greeting both new & frequent customers alike.
Makes for a very enjoyable, positive experience.
We even returned for breakfast, the next morning around 9 am and sampled their Italian omelette (A) and (B) satay noodles with included HK coffee/tea combo for $15.50. Also experienced attentive service by many serving staff. Leave happy & well fed!“

“My friend and I were looking for spicy food for dinner near where I worked for the next few days and we chose this place.
The place turned out to be surprisingly big and spacious inside. They also had patio/outdoor dining area outside.
Big tables - perfect for my big belly in my third trimester back in May. It was also clean.
Food was great, too - as spicy as it should be and we liked it. We also really enjoyed their noodles - chewy and nice texture.
I felt comfortable with their service - genuinely wanted to help you without overwhelmingly checking in all the times. This made me decide to give a five instead of a four.
We don’t live in Richmond but would like to come back if we are in the area again.“

“Came back to this little spot inside Lansdowne food court today. We ordered noodles and some potstickers to go, and halfway through our meal, one of the staff came by and surprised us with a second box of potstickers — they said the first batch didn’t meet their standards and they wanted to do better. I didn’t even notice anything wrong, but the gesture really stood out. Just tried the potstickers at home — not sure which batch they were from, but they were juicy, crispy, and totally hit the spot. It’s rare to see that kind of pride in quality these days. Will definitely be back.“

“The service was amazing! Our server was outgoing and spoke English, Cantonese, and mandarin. She was informative and knew how to joke! The food was really good for the most part. The lotus root was mushy and sweet, it just wasn’t for me. There was also a dish that was mainly made of Szechuan peppers and a bit of meat, there was barely meat. The chicken was super good! The truffle egg was very delicious. Shanghai juicy buns were amazing. The restaurant looked upscale. The bathrooms were clean! Only reason I made it 5 stars and not 4 was they also had a karaoke room upstairs too, food was still pretty good except the dishes mentioned above, and the bathrooms were clean! Would definitely recommend!“
