“We had dinner at Blue Water Cafe last night, and our server, Jared, was absolutely outstanding. He was incredibly attentive throughout the entire evening and possessed a deep knowledge of the menu, explaining the dishes with great detail. His drink recommendations were also spot on and enhanced our meal perfectly. What impressed us the most was his impeccable pacing; he managed to attend to every single table with absolute precision, without ever making anyone feel rushed. Jared balances warmth and professionalism beautifully, and he was truly a key figure in making our evening a memorable success. “The hostesses at the front are vibrant and charming. They offer a complimentary glass of champagne to sip while you’re waiting. If you don’t imbibe, they will accommodate your soft drink request. We were seated at a table on the patio which is very close to the street. So if you choose to sit on the patio, There will be city sounds which, apart from the occasional siren, quickly dissolves into the artful landscaping. Raven, our server, was friendly and cheerful, in addition to being appropriately attentive. We started with the mini steak French dips. Expertly seasoned and grilled, new york steak strips over a button of gruyere cheese atop a tiny slice of sourdough garlic bread with a side of au jus. These were quite more-ish. I recommend them. My husband enjoyed the Mediterranean salad and I liked my seared ahi tuna salad very much. The tuna is sliced thicker than carpaccio but thinner than sushi and gently seared. The plating was elegant and the salad finely chopped with bits of mango and shaved avocado on the top.. I tasted a bit of mint leaf and the light dressing was truly perfect. The staff pay attention to the guests and, when your server is busy, they make themselves available for your needs. It appears the staff members enjoy each other’s company as well as their jobs. I observed real teamwork throughout. We had the apple pie for dessert. On its own it is delicious with a caramel apple filling and it’s flaky , buttery and crunchy crus. It can easily be shared by three people and would have been enough. But do’gild the lily’ by adding the Canadian maple ice cream. We felt comfortable and satisfied. We were pleased with every bite and the Joey Burrard experience from start to finish. We will definitely go back and try some other offerings. Go and have fun. And talk to the very friendly staff who are so willing to engage.“

“We celebrated our 10th anniversary on January 25 at Coast Restaurant during the Dine Out Festival 2026, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. As expected from the Glowbal Restaurant Group, the service was absolutely top-notch. Our waitress made the evening even more special—she happened to be a fellow Swiftie! We ended up having such a lovely chat about how we millennials grew up listening to Taylor Swift, which added a fun and personal touch to our celebration. She truly went above and beyond to make our anniversary memorable. Not only did we receive a complimentary cake as a thoughtful gesture, but she also surprised me with a Swiftie friendship bracelet—such a sweet and unique detail that we’ll always remember. The food was amazing from start to finish. My husband had the New England Chowder for his appetizer, while I enjoyed the shrimp salad. For our mains, we both chose the surf n’ turf—our favorite—and it did not disappoint. We ended the night with a delicious sticky toffee pudding, along with the complimentary cake. “While in Vancouver the beginning of November for medical appointments. My wife and I were undecided on were to eat. We walked out of our motel. Looked across the street and saw the Italian Kitchen, we walked over and asked if they had any seats available, it was a very busy night ,got our seats and our sever was Sam he was very pleasant. “Chau Cafe has been a popular vegetarian spot in my neighbourhood for years, and I can't believe I forgot about it. I hadn't been back in a long time, so I decided to stop by yesterday.

The first thing I noticed was how clean and organized the restaurant is. They have a self-serve station stocked with water, utensils, napkins, and takeout containers. This is such a thoughtful touch and makes it so convenient.

Yesterday, I ordered the Namaste Fresh Rolls, and they were absolutely incredible. There were fresh, and the peanut sauce was perfect. Honestly, I could have eaten several of them! I also had the Rickshaw Bowl, which was packed with flavour. To drink, I tried their signature coconut shake, and as someone who's a sucker for anything coconut, it did not disappoint. Before leaving, I also picked up a pint of their Vietnamese Coffee ice cream (still in my freezer)! If you're a peanut butter lover, you have to get their dark chocolate peanut butter. It was amazing!

I enjoyed yesterday so much that I came back today for dinner. This time I ordered their famous Golden Temple Soup with noodles and organic tofu, along with the Sunrise Fresh Rolls. The soup lived up to the hype. The curry broth was rich, comforting, and full of flavour. The noodles had the perfect texture and the organic tofu was excellent. And once again, their fresh rolls were fantastic!

Before I left, I had the chance to chat with the owner, who was incredibly kind and friendly. She shared a little about the business, and it was clear how much care and passion goes into the restaurant. I genuinely wish them continued success.“

“This is my second time at MeeT on Main and I am writing it yet another review as it truly deserves! This place is a MUST go. Last year I found myself unsure of where to take my girlfriend for our first real dinner date due to her dietary restrictions and tentatively made our way for this Vegan restaurant that both I and her had raised a brow about (For more on that review seek out Raven Bramblepaw on Google reviews to see!) But we are more than pleased to say we have returned and couldn't be happier to have done so, this time bringing with us my girlfriends parents. The food was just as good as we remembered, possibly even better as it is not an over exaggeration that if you did not know what was infront of you was vegan, you likely wouldn't guess. This restaurant will continue to be a staple for my relationship with my girlfriend Fox, and we will continue to come back every year if we should be so lucky. Thank you Astrid and Co. for the warm return welcome, and we look forward to coming back for another tasty bite!“

“Two of the last three times I’ve ordered my usual x-large double cheese/double pepperoni pizza I received a half cheese/half pepperoni pizza. Both times I took the latter pizza because I didn’t want to wait for another to be made.
I’m giving a 5 star rating because the staff is always pleasant and the problem was due to lack of English and lack of training.
You guys make good pizza but your new staff doesn't know the difference between “double” and “half.”
Please train your staff more fully. Thanks.“

“They have a great selection of vegan ice cream. They are coconut based that you can taste but I personally like it. If you're not a fan of coconut, the cappachino flavour covers up the taste. They have an outdoor area that's in the sun so it's nice to hang out and chill.“

We were over at Granville Island when we were suggested to make the trip to Lemonade Gluten-Free Bakery. We decided to take the walk, and it was so well worth it! Every single dessert we tried was decadent, perfectly sweet, and truly a delicious delight. You'd never even guess everything is gluten-free. We couldn't leave without buying a bunch more to take home for later. Well worth the visit—we will definitely be back!“
