“We visited Blue Water Cafe in Vancouver after making the trip in from White Rock, and it was absolutely worth it. The atmosphere is elegant yet welcoming, and the overall vibe is fantastic.

A huge shout-out to our waiter Liam, who was truly exceptional. His service was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable — he made the experience feel extra special.

The seafood was incredibly fresh and delicious, easily some of the best we’ve had. Every dish was beautifully prepared and full of flavour.

Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for a memorable dining experience. We’ll definitely be back!“

“The hostesses at the front are vibrant and charming. They offer a complimentary glass of champagne to sip while you’re waiting. If you don’t imbibe, they will accommodate your soft drink request. We were seated at a table on the patio which is very close to the street. So if you choose to sit on the patio, There will be city sounds which, apart from the occasional siren, quickly dissolves into the artful landscaping. Raven, our server, was friendly and cheerful, in addition to being appropriately attentive. We started with the mini steak French dips. Expertly seasoned and grilled, new york steak strips over a button of gruyere cheese atop a tiny slice of sourdough garlic bread with a side of au jus. These were quite more-ish. I recommend them. My husband enjoyed the Mediterranean salad and I liked my seared ahi tuna salad very much. The tuna is sliced thicker than carpaccio but thinner than sushi and gently seared. The plating was elegant and the salad finely chopped with bits of mango and shaved avocado on the top.. I tasted a bit of mint leaf and the light dressing was truly perfect. The staff pay attention to the guests and, when your server is busy, they make themselves available for your needs. It appears the staff members enjoy each other’s company as well as their jobs. I observed real teamwork throughout. We had the apple pie for dessert. On its own it is delicious with a caramel apple filling and it’s flaky , buttery and crunchy crus. It can easily be shared by three people and would have been enough. But do’gild the lily’ by adding the Canadian maple ice cream. We felt comfortable and satisfied. We were pleased with every bite and the Joey Burrard experience from start to finish. We will definitely go back and try some other offerings. Go and have fun. And talk to the very friendly staff who are so willing to engage.“

This is pretty good mass produced pizza. Can I tell the difference between other pizza chains.... Not really. But they have some good toppings and staff are usually pleasant.

“A cute little place with delicious looking pastries and fresh sandwiches. I got the alder smoked BLT and the sticky toffee pudding. The BLT was a really well balanced sandwich with freshly made bread. It was salty, but perfectly so.

The staff were kind and helpful too and the service was fast (especially with it being freshly made in front of you).“

“While in Vancouver the beginning of November for medical appointments. My wife and I were undecided on were to eat. We walked out of our motel. Looked across the street and saw the Italian Kitchen, we walked over and asked if they had any seats available, it was a very busy night ,got our seats and our sever was Sam he was very pleasant. My wife and I both so impressed with our meal. If we ever go back to Vancouver I know we're I will be eating.“

“Came here a couple times while I was in town. The coffee is excellent. Also loved the oatmeal chocolate chip cookie and green breakfast wrap. The indoor space is pretty small. I think it's fine if you're at one of the tables, but it can feel pretty cramped or like you're always in someone's way when you're in line or waiting for your order. I wish they had a takeout window to resolve this. Thanks for the excellent coffee and food!“

“My parents (69 and 71) were hosting Christmas Dinner at their house. My father decided to order Christmas dinner from Fresh In Your Fridge so Christmas dinner could be stress-free for all while still enjoying a delicious family meal. We were all so impressed! The meal instructions were simple and easy to follow and the food was just incredible. Our meal started with a winter green salad that was a hit with everyone around the table, including my normally veggie-adverse husband and the kids! He and the children even had seconds. The main course - turkey roulade with stuffing, creamy mashed potatoes, mixed roasted veggies, and gravy - was all delicious! The portions were so generous - there were 10 of us and there were leftovers at the end of the meal. Finally, a pear crumble with caramel sauce for dessert… So tasty and the perfect ending to a perfect meal. Minimal clean up afterwards - dishes done within 10 minutes! My father declared this is how he would like to host all big family meals in the future! Thanks to the Fresh In You Fridge team for making this Christmas extra special for our family“

“Dress nicely and drop in for happy hour before it gets too busy. I had a wet martini, nicely prepared, and an imported draft beer from Oregon. Didn’t stay for food because of a prior commitment, but it’s on my list for a follow-up visit.

“I absolutely love Freshslice Pizza on Joyce Street! The location is perfect with plenty of parking around, and the restaurant is fully accessible and always clean. The staff pays close attention to details and never ignores you or act busy when you walk in; ( there is an Asian girl ( Filipina I guess) sorry I didn’t ask her for her name …she is constantly cleaning and organizing the place making sure it’s tidy and presentable)they’re always quick to assist, friendly yet very professional. The toppings are always fresh and generous, which sets this location apart from others I’ve tried in Burnaby Surrey or Vancouver, they simply never disappoint They’re my favourite 100% ,and I highly recommend ordering from them .“

“It was my cousin’s last day in town, and since she’s vegetarian, we decided to stop by this highly rated restaurant for a quick bite before heading to the airport.

The dining area is fairly small, and they don’t take reservations. The staff were very friendly and kindly asked us to wait a few minutes while they cleared a table by the wall for us. Ordering for the first time can be a bit tricky since you order and pay at the counter, but the staff were helpful in explaining the menu.

Once we ordered, the food came out quickly — and every dish was fantastic. I don’t usually eat vegan food, but the flavors were truly impressive: well-balanced, rich, and full of depth. The portion sizes were generous too.

We were all pleasantly surprised by how delicious everything was. Their prices are very reasonable and even have a rewards point system, which is a nice bonus. We’ll definitely be back the next time we’re in the area. Highly recommend this spot to any vegan or vegetarian food lover!“
