The bartender was super nice and pleasant. We came from OC for a wedding and decided to stop by to grab a few before heading to the venue.

“amazoning stunning taste old fashion burger with taste of beef! not some meat you are not sure if it is real beef. Don’t forget put well done. I choose no any sauce. The basic charburger is their best in town. And sometimes you can get buy one get one free on apps or Ubereats. After i have this two tender burgers for only $8 with no line I won’t go to In N Out crazy line. And In N Out I can’t taste their beef favor of burger, it feels like beyond meat in some other restaurant.”

“Open since 1983 this little diner attached to Brackett Field Airport has some of the best views of any diner that I’ve ever been to. I will say that the food is not very memorable, but the location and experience was. Inside is like stepping into a time capsule. You walk by telephone booths and newspaper stands to get into the restaurant which also looks like it is preserved in the early 1990s. It is attached to a giant free parking lot so parking is very easy and plentiful. Our server was also very nice and everything that we ordered came out pretty fast.

We were lucky enough to get a table outside right by the air field and watched many planes take off and land, which was the highlight of our meal. The food itself was so so, but definitely not bad. We started off with a Cinnamon Roll, which was pretty small and not very fluffy but still had some nice flavors. For our breakfast, we chose the Kitchen Sink Omelette, which was good although it wasn’t blended. The omelette was just folded over the meat so every time you would cut into it everything would spill out. Also, there wasn’t much seasoning or flavors. We also ordered the French Toast, which was a bit better and tasted as expected. I really wanted to like the food more because I really like the scenery, but I feel that this place is worth visiting more for the views than the food.”

“This modest dinner spot specializes in handmade pastas with a Californian twist. I tried their butternut ravioli with burnt sage butter—and the balance of flavors blew me away. The space is simple, with soft lighting and jazzy background music. The chef came out to ask how the ravioli was, which felt genuine, not performative. A delightful pasta find.”

“Chase’s has some seriously impressive food. The Brussels sprouts, jalapeños, and mushrooms we ordered were all standout dishes—fresh, flavorful, and clearly prepared with skill. The menu has a lot to love, and it’s easy to see why people keep coming back for the food.

Service-wise, it wasn’t terrible, just a bit inconsistent. Our server was pleasant but seemed stretched thin, and there were some delays with check-ins and follow-ups. Nothing major, but it did take away slightly from the overall experience.

Still, the quality of the food makes it worth a visit. If they tighten up the service just a bit, this place could easily be a five-star favorite.”

“I’ve been dining at Warehouse Pizza for a while now, and it never disappoints. It’s a fun place with a classic, old-school pizzeria feel that’s full of energy, arcade games, TVs, and outdoor seating. The pizza itself? Absolutely delicious.

On our latest visit, I brought my brother, wife, and daughter. My brother had never been before and has heard a lot about it. We ordered a small cheese pizza for my daughter and a large half-special/half-veggie to split in addition to some cheese bread and a salad. The salad was fire. They use the perfect cheese topping that hits the spot (and let’s be real, you can’t really mess up a Caesar salad). The cheese bread was tasty too - a little peppery, but really good. And as always, the pizza was fantastic but use caution: it’s piping hot when it hits your table. Trust me, I’ve learned that lesson the hard way. Let’s just say my mouth was “crustfallen” after that first bite.

That said, there are a few caveats to keep in mind: They don’t deliver, it’s cash-only and the plates and utensils can be… well, let’s just say less-than-sparkling. We swapped them for paper plates and plastic forks, and I highly recommend you do too. You can thank me later.

“Being a Latino Family in La Verne, several Mexican food places in La Verne are somewhat generic. But this place has great food, great service (all the workers are so nice) and the atmosphere is simple but perfect.

“Well, food is excellent, I was there for breakfast, was my first time there. The choices were great, I ordered from a specials menu… delicious, I had one scrambled egg, cooked to perfection, hash browns, sausage… all very good. I was there with a couple of friends, they each got omelets. Service wad quick, and friendly. Very attentive. Great music from the 1959’s… it was playing in the background. I will return, truly enjoyed everything.”

“To our surprise this place was opened, we didn't expect it to be. But they actually open everyday at 8am. The place was very very clean and the lady behind the counter, possibly the owner was very friendly and patient as we tried to decide what to order. They have a very big menu of items to choose from. We decided on the 5 rolled shredded beef taquitos and 5 shredded chicken mini tacos and 2 large diet cokes. She brought your soda and chips and salsa and to our delight, the chips were freshly made. Light and crispy and delicious. As we finished them up and we did eat all of them as they were some of the best I've had, the food arrived. When i days mini tacos let me say they are not mini in the amount of food you get. They were heaping full of fresh ingredients. Lettuce, onions, cheese, the shredded chicken of course each on 2 mini tortillas. That itself would have been plenty of food for the 2 of us but we also had the taquitos which were very fresh and delicious. They were piled high with guacamole and cheese. They were delicious. We ended up taking half the food with us. I recommend you come try this place you will not be disappointed. Oh and did i mention how great the prices are. You can eat here fresh for what it would cost you to go to a fast food place.”

“This is part of a non-profit that serves at risk youth, young adults, and families and this Cafe actually is used as a job training program for the young adults. Come check it out and support them by purchasing something. Proceeds go back to supporting the job training. In addition next to it is a lovely store that also supports training them and has great deals on a variety of items. Pass it along to friends and family.”

Normally I have to ask for more toppings (and have even gotten rude looks when doing so), but this time I did not. It was so nice to not have to ask after only getting a few slices of meat, a few slices of the veggies I get, etc. they were both very kind and professional.
