They’re still decent burgers but the past few times leave me not really wanting to go back… their ice cream and cookies are still great so no complaints there. I’m just bummed that one of my fave smash burgers went down in quality 😔“

“Sparkys has been in existence since I moved into this area over 40 years ago. The menu has evolved to include salads (like teriyaki chicken and teriyaki salmon)and some healthier options like quinoa bowls. That said, I still love their bacon cheeseburgers, various fries and tempura zucchini/mushrooms. If you like matcha, the milkshake is a creamy delight!“

“The people working there were really nice and friendly. I ordered a grilled cheese & fries. A little over $6 -not bad these days. And they were good, too. Atmosphere is not great -it’s right across from the Coliseum BART station -but it’s the only place in the immediate vicinity. I was running late to a NIN concert so hadn’t had time to grab something beforehand. There are only two sidewalk tables, so I sat on the fire hydrant. Perfectly fine for a quick bite before a show. They also have a really large menu. I’d stop by again.“

Super Duper has same issue for me on their dub so maybe just me. Also would like lettuce and tomatoes included rather than charge extra.“

“Beeryland is absolutely fantastic. I've been coming here for the star trek trivia for almost two years. The adult slushies are yummy, and so is most of the food. I don't know if the kimchi grilled cheese is still on the menu, but it's a divisive item. My friends like it but I despise it. Use caution. As you can see by the state of my AmInal Fries (yes the spelling is correct), I am one happy customer. Four stars on the atmosphere because the bathroom could use a facelift, but it is a bar. “Parking was tighter on this sunny Saturday afternoon, but didn't wait long. They have a parking lot but it seemed people were taking advantage in this busy neighborhood adjacent to Lake Merritt. There is no seating inside at the moment and a couple tables outside, with a walk-up window for food orders. I opted for the double cheese burger, onion rings and a banana+chocolate shake. It was ready fast, about 5 minutes! I always eat the fried food first, so onion rings were still hot. They use a delicious onion ring batter with a nice crunch that doesn't end up all over the place. A dipping sauce would be amazing but ketchup was good enough. The burger was solid, substantial but not fussy. The shake was great, thick and tasty. I love that they have so many great shake flavors. The price for the double cheeseburger is slightly higher than I'd like and there wasn't a 'combo' which is usually a better value. I am not blind to the current price of food and everything else, so I was more than willing to support a local mom'n'pop. Good food and happy that I live nearby for future visits.“

“Kids and I love stopping by for a sweet treat. Mario always gives us the best recommendations for the shakes. He is always nice, ready to answer kids' million questions. Inside is always clean, looks really cool, and love how they embrace the hyphy culture. Drive-through is pretty awesome, too.“

“I just came to this restaurant for lunch and everything was amazing! The food was so delicious, fresh, and full of flavor. What made the experience even better was the customer service. As soon as I walked in, they welcomed me so warmly and made me feel comfortable right away. They were very kind and kept asking if I needed anything, saying they were there to help. “I stopped by to see a buddy from work band play. The atmosphere was nice but I didn't buy any food. Parking was hard to find within a block so I had to park 3 blocks down which wasn't an issue for me other than I was running late to see my buddy and his band perform.“

“Pupusas are made fresh. Get your revueltas, or jalapeno y queso here. Takes 15 minutes or so to make so come ready. 2.50 for any pupusas. Tacos here are also delicious, comes with a lot of meat and very well flavored. 2.00 each. Horchata isn't super sweet which I like but cost 3.00 each.“

“This is really tiny little liquor store convenience store at the top of the hills of Oakland. The food is great but you must get it to go. There's no place to sit down. It is what it is. You go there and grab some tacos and you go back home or you get back in your car and keep on traveling. The food is good. It is what it is. It's a store with a taco stand in the back of it. I recommend it“
