“Hands down one of the classiest good vibes restaurants in LA! The food is excellent. The wait staff and bar staff super friendly and personable and Jill (bartender, wine connoisseur and server extraordinaire) is a great reason to keep coming back! It’s like stopping by to see one of your closest friends. Oh…and the olive oil lemon custard cake is AMAZING!!!”
“🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 If you're craving authentic Puerto Rican cuisine without the hassle of cooking, Taínos L.A. is the answer to your prayers! I recently ordered a spread for my uncle's 80th birthday party, and let me tell you, it was a hit. The Mofongo with shrimp was a mouthful of joy, bursting with flavor and perfectly cooked shrimp. The Arroz con gandules was savory and comforting, just like homemade. The Pernil had the ideal amount of seasoning, each bite tender and delicious. And the Tostones, accompanied by a tasty garlic mojo sauce, were just the right size to satisfy. Now, let's talk about the Plátanos maduro - they were larger than the ones I usually find, which was a pleasant surprise! As a New York Rican from a family of great cooks, I can attest that this food is the real deal. Taínos L.A. has captured the essence of Puerto Rican cuisine with finesse. One thing to note is that Taínos L.A. is not a sit-down restaurant; they offer pickup or delivery only. But trust me, it's worth it. If you're in the mood for some seriously good Puerto Rican food, do yourself a favor and try the Mofongo with shrimp from Taínos L.A. You won't be disappointed!”
“A super friendly team here and the pad thai was delicious! Love the robot drink delivery. It was a a hit with our youngest diner.”

“The Turkey Club sandwich was VERY good, and the sides made the sandwich sing!!! Potato salad with just a hint of fresh dill and the tomato salad, ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS!!!”
“I celebrated Mother’s Day on the 12th of May 2024 at Joey in Woodland Hills. Very friendly atmosphere. Friendly welcoming . We had a very good and friendly service from Kavin. Good food. Nice presentation.”

“I would like to leave a positive review for Modern Bread & Bagel. This is a wonderful place with a cozy atmosphere, delicious fresh food, and excellent drinks. I especially enjoyed the sandwich and the beverage — everything was prepared with care and attention to detail.

“Inside, there is only room to order food and buy bread. Their cinnamon roll is pretty good, but served cold. Their everything cookie is delicious. There is ample seating outdoors for brunch, and servers are nice. The breakfast sandwich is good, and their standouts are shakshuka (absolutely delicious!) and the chai latte. Their vanilla latte is also well bodied and just sweet enough.”
“Everything is delicious, made with love❤️ Clean, elegant, and delicious🤩😋 Friendly, helpful staff🌹”

“It's a nice restaurant, good food (not exceptional) and a nice atmosphere. Enjoyed the onion soup, However, trout almondine was quite ordinary, missing any kind of sauce (lemon ?) to perk up the taste. We will try again, hoping for improvement. I do remember having a wonderful lamb shank, but that was when the restaurant was located in Malibu.”

“Went here with a coworker the other night and had a great time! Our server was fantastic! I cant remember his name but he was quick and always there when we needed him! Food was great too. LOVED the truffle fries and sweet and spicy wings, no beer for me but the virgin mojito was refreshing! Will definitely be back to try more food! Thanks guys!”
“Just visited this cafe and they were lovely people and the food was amazing with good prices! All the ingredients were fresh and tasty. Had the tuna sandwich on a croissant and probably best tuna I’ve had in a while, minestrone soup was really good, and my bf had a gyros wrap which he loved. They were so kind a lot of great options on the menu!”
“Went for a birthday. Previous times at other PF Changs I was never particularly impressed. But, not having Chinese lately maybe changed it for me. I was pleasantly surprised by a lot of the food. It isn't some mind blowing experience, but it is reliably good. And since it was a large scale birthday party it made it a lot of fun because it almost became a buffet of sorts.”
“It was a little expensive for a coffee shop. I recommend serving smaller portions for a lower price.”
“This place is crazy delicious and their boba is high quality. Very kind and swift service too. One of the best vegetarian Bahn Mi I ever had and I’ve had a few I promise!!!! Not too pricey either”

“I come here usually on the weekends because the food always tastes better in my opinion. And when I do I go for the western bacon and a side of onion rings. And what I said before the food is always better on the weekends specifically at night. I always get helped by Gustavo and he does a good job to make sure everything’s perfect. So thanks to him and the chef too in the back. I always try to recommend this spot to people in town because it’s one of my favorite fast food places! Always a 10/10 for me and thanks for now starting to be open 24/7🙌”
“I had a great experience at Subway! The food was fresh, delicious, and prepared exactly how I wanted it. Kalyan provided excellent customer service—he was friendly, polite, and made my order quickly. The restaurant was also clean and well maintained. I’ll definitely be coming back. Highly recommend!”
“Excelente...muy buena atención y la comida muy buena, lo recomiendo...”
“Love the place much. Classy and very clean! Foods are so delicious.”
Takeout Restaurants
“This place hit it out of the park. I stopped in for a solo dinner while away at work. I ordered the Spicy Miso Ramen and a beer. The food was incredible, beer properly carbonated, and my server was very kind and attentive. Prices were very reasonable too. Definitely adding this place as a go-to dinner spot.”
“I recently bought the Earl Grey Tea and Berry Cornbread at my local Kroger store and was blown away! The richness and the flavor profiles were out of this world, especially the latter flavor of the two. It’s dangerous to know the Kroger store is only five minutes from my house. I’ll definitely be trying other flavors.”
“Had such a great time here with my cousins. We were visiting from Chicago, and it was the perfect LA experience. The food was delicious, the service was amazing, and the atmosphere made the whole visit even better. Everyone in our group loved it, and we left happy and completely satisfied.
Definitely a place I’d recommend to anyone looking for great food, great vibes, and an even better experience. We’ll definitely be back! 🙌”
“The food and service were so so good we went back twice during our vacation. The service was so good everyone helping out! Coffee was hot all the time and just so good!! I drink it black. If you feel up to it get the salsa green homemade and has a nice tiny kick. This is a must stop for a delicious hot fresh and somewhat quickly made breakfast!! Can’t wait to go back!”
“Thank you Doan’s for providing our wedding cake on 10/15/22. It was SO BEAUTIFUL and tasty. Doan’s was my choice because they were willing to work with our budget, but mostly because : THEY ARE SO NICE! One phone call with Marina, and I knew I liked her. I knew I could trust her to do great work. She was supportive, kind, and was on my side. They provided the cake, delivered, and placed the topper and flowers on our cake. It was a two tier red velvet cake. Oh! Did I mention it was delicious? Our guest raved about it! Thank you Doan’s and Marina! If you need a delicious, beautiful, yet affordable wedding cake from good people - call Doan’s!”
“Although it’s a bit pricey (my reason for the 4 stars instead of 5), I feel like you truly are receiving quality ingredients in all of their menu items. The smoothies are delicious and the food is even better. They understand flavor! As someone who enjoys meat, surprisingly one of my FAVORITE wraps is their hummus avocado sprouts wrap. It has the right balance of veggies and their lemon dressing is to die for!!!”
“Dennis the valet was the best part of my visit!! Ty brother”
“love the local atmosphere. all the staff are friendly. the food is hearty, especially on a rainy day.”
Drive-Thru Restaurants
“I found this place on Google and decided to check it out because it was across the street from where I had a couple of hours to kill. There is more than enough parking in their lot but I’m not sure if it’s because of Juneteenth of because that’s how it normally is. When I walked in, I immediately liked the place because of the interior design and the relaxing music which was at a perfect volume. I was greeted by a lady who was very friendly and told me that her coworkers would be right out to take my out. After a very brief wait exactly that happened and the lady who took my order was also very friendly. After a short wait I got my food (good size serving) which was brought to my table and it tasted delicious. If I’m in the area again, I will be coming back as this place is a perfect mix of great food, excellent service, and a relaxing atmosphere”
“honestly i was expecting another average sushi spot but this place totally surprised me. the yellowtail is super fresh and theres this roll with crispy rice that i keep thinking about days later. i think the miso soup could be a little more flavorful but it isnt a big deal when the rest of the food is this good. the service was friendly too even though it took a while to get our check and we had to flag someone down. definitely going back for teh lunch special next time.”
“I can’t say enough good things about Handel’s Ice Cream — so delish. Everything always tastes so fresh, and I love that you can get a really small cup when you just want a little treat. The staff is always also so sweet!
My go-to is Rocky Road with sprinkles. I do wish they had chocolate sprinkles like they do in Pennsylvania, but the red, white, and blue sprinkles are fun and very on-theme right now.
Always such a fun, decadent stop. Thank you!”
“This is Mike.
Mike takes selfies like he's never seen a camera before. 😂
But taking selfies is not what Mike gets paid to do.
Mike was kind enough to do this for me because I asked him to.
And the reason that I asked him to is because of what Mike does.
Mike does sandwich artistry and customer service.
And he does them well.
And when I say sandwich artistry, I mean that I watched him make my sandwich, and watching how he placed every piece of produce onto the sandwich with care and intentionality, it prompted me to ask him how long he had been working here.
He replied that he had been working at Subway since 2018, so approximately 8 years.
I eagerly let him know that his 8 years of experience shows in the care that he takes in making the sandwich. Watching him, it's evident to see that he takes great care in making sure that each sandwich component is placed proportionately and evenly.
Literally, like a piece of artwork.
Very kind, very considerate, and once he realized that I had mobility issues, he definitely went above and beyond the call of duty to offer me assistance. From bagging, to holding the door open for me, he made sure to have an open hand the entire time.
So if you're in the area, and you're hungry...
Or even if you're not hungry, to be honest....
I would definitely recommend coming here between the hours of 4:00 and 6:00 p.m., during the weekdays, and anytime during the weekends.
And if you end up getting a couple of footlongs, you might be in for a great surprise.
UPDATE: 8 - 24 - 2026
Just after 4:00 p.m., I ambulated into Subway and was greeted by Sandwich artist Victor. Victor has been there about 3 years less than Mike, but he's just as proficient, an equally as hospitable. Please introduce me to the Doritos Footlong Nachos.
(I'm not going to repeat the secret sandwich sauce combo but Victor... I didn't even have time to take a picture of it)”
“This place is a hidden gem. The food is absolutely delicious. I’m traveling here from Michigan and we have a lot of Indian food restaurants but I’ve never had food as good as this place in here for a week and I will be here everyday. I had the chicken 65 birianyi and it’s cooked to perfection the spices and flavor is heavenly and the rice and chicken is amazing came with two sauces one is a broth and the other is yogurt with vegetables and both complimented the dish when mix together perfectly. The reason I gave 4 stars is because it takes time for the food to come out that’s all the staff were nice and polite the place is clean. And not to forget the portion is very good for the price and you don’t see that anymore. All in all an amazing experience keep up the good work staff”
“It was my first time at Ubatuba, and I asked Peta to make me something that would make me come back. She made me the most outrageously scrumptious acai bowl in the history of acai bowls--I'll definitely be back for more! Go see Peta and tell her Kelly sent you!”
“There is something wonderfully reassuring about an Italian restaurant that does not need to reinvent itself to remain relevant. In an age when dining rooms increasingly chase trends, this historic Woodland Hills establishment is a reminder that authenticity, tradition, and a sense of place can be far more compelling than culinary theatrics.
From the moment we arrived for our reservation, we were warmly received by the manager, whose hospitality immediately established the tone for the evening. The restaurant possesses that rare quality of feeling genuinely lived-in and established—an atmosphere shaped by years of serving its community rather than one manufactured for effect. It feels like a place with a story.
We began with a couple of Peronis, a fitting aperitivo before dinner, and eventually followed our server's recommendations for two dishes: the Chicken Parmigiano and the fettuccine al porcini.
The Chicken Parmigiano was the undisputed triumph of the evening. It was wonderfully comforting yet indulgent, delivering precisely the kind of soulful satisfaction one hopes for from a classic Italian-American preparation. The dish had the richness and familiarity of something deeply rooted in tradition, and it was easily the plate that left the strongest impression on us. In fact, it is reason enough for me to return.
The fettuccine al porcini was somewhat less successful. The pasta and mushroom component showed promise, but the chicken pieces incorporated into the dish were disappointing in both texture and overall appeal. We brought the matter to our server's attention during the meal, although, unfortunately, all that was offered was for it to be cooked again. From a hospitality perspective, this was a missed opportunity. When a guest offers constructive feedback while still at the table, the most memorable restaurants treat it as an invitation to make the experience better.
That said, perspective is important. One imperfect component does not define an entire restaurant, particularly when so much else succeeds. We came because of a friend's recommendation, and we leave with that recommendation still intact.
What ultimately distinguishes this restaurant is not perfection for perfection's sake, but character. There is an authenticity here that is increasingly difficult to find. The restaurant feels connected to the neighborhood, to Italian culinary tradition, and to the simple pleasure of gathering around a table for a proper meal.
For Woodland Hills and the greater San Fernando Valley, establishments with genuine history and identity are invaluable. This restaurant is, without question, a true asset to the neighborhood.
We will absolutely return and give the kitchen another opportunity to impress us. And when we do, I suspect the Chicken Parmigiano will be making another appearance at our table.
Thank you to the management and staff for the warm welcome and the evening.
Until next time—buon appetito.”
“Always extremely friendly team members here. Today especially I want to thank Trevor I believe he said his name was. My wife had a cup that someone threw out and he went out of his way to find this unique cup and get us one. Give this man a raise! He just made mine and my wife’s day!”

“Even if the environment and location are a turn off, the food was worth it. I had the double cheeseburger with chili cheese fries. You are handed a heavy plate of food. The burger was hefty and the fries plentiful.
I'd definitely do the burger again, but skip the fries.”
“Mendocino Farms is definitely one of my favorite spots! The first thing you notice is how incredibly fresh every single ingredient is. No matter what you pick from the menu, the food is consistently delicious, high-quality, and super fresh.
I also have to mention their Chicken Farro Soup it is absolutely magnificent! It’s hearty, flavorful, and the ultimate comfort food. It’s one of those dishes that keeps me coming back again and again.
Great place with an amazing selection and consistently high standards. Highly recommend!”
“Love the yogurt, but the shop is filthy which is concerning. The woman who works there is so rude and unfriendly and she does NOT give you what you are paying for. I actually brought the yogurt home and weighed it and I was cheated! The gentleman who works evenings is super nice and definitely does his job.”
“Healthy Greens has the best smoothies in Woodland Hills! The ingredients are always fresh, the smoothies are packed with flavor, and the staff is friendly and welcoming every time I visit. Whether you’re looking for a healthy breakfast, post-workout smoothie, or a refreshing drink during the day, this is the place to go.
The quality is consistently excellent, and you can really taste the difference compared to other smoothie shops in Woodland Hills. I highly recommend Healthy Greens to anyone looking for healthy smoothies, fresh juices, and nutritious food options in the area. Definitely my go-to smoothie spot in Woodland Hills!”
“I have been in LA for 15 years, and I see my self as a Kabob sommelier. The hardest kabob to get right is Koobideh, so much so that I rarely order koobideh in America. Got their koobideh tonight. I'm extremely satisfied.
Shoutout to Faraz for helping me with my order. Sweetest guy!”
“Been coming here for years. You not only get a delicious selection of coffees and teas, but kindness and positivity. The owners are wonderful and make you feel they care about you even with a long line behind you. My favorite is their matcha latte. If you are at Kaiser stop by. Thursdays are Farmer’s Market days open to the public.”

“Every taco I try here is my new favorite I tried the birria first and loved it, but was told how amazing the shrimp one was, went back and and tried it and was blown away by the flavor. Just recently went back and tried the chicken taco and it is now my new favorite.
Staff and atmosphere were amazing and I will continue going back and sending people your way.”
“My friends and I were in the area and decided to give this place a try, and honestly, 10/10 would recommend. It was clean, the staff was amazing, the experience itself was just awesome. One worker, Viola, was super helpful when we said we never been there and was so positive and kind when talking to us. That experience alone made us wanna come back.”
“Definitely a solid taco truck. Parked next to a public park, didn’t have an aggressive homeless presence so I felt safe and enjoyed my meal at one of the local benches.
Everything was delicious but the stars of the show were definitely the asada, Al pastor and fish tacos. The shrimp taco is prepared just like the fish taco, but fish was the definite winner. As for the chicken, it was fine, just nothing to write home about. All in all 8.5/10”
“Awesome deal and super delicious. If you’re craving something good and fulfilling with a lot of taste, this spot is it. Dudes are super nice too. They brought out my plate to my car while I was waiting. The short mexican girl working and delivering is super cute too 🥰”
“My first reason for the 5 star rating was the service! Our host/cashier was amazing and patient, as it was our first time. The staff were friendly and attentive. It was a pleasant surprise that our food was brought out to our table, I was expecting to go to the counter and pick it up. Our pizza initially came out a little too well done, but the staff had our pie remade with without hesitation and then gave us dessert “on the house.” I was so happy that the customer service was so great, because when I did finally bite into a slice, it was delicious! We ordered a pizza with veggies, garlic knots, churro knots, cookies, and an Arnold Palmer. We will be going back!”
“Best coffee in the Westfield Shopping Mall & Village IMO. I’ve been here several times & the quality has been consistently excellent . The service, not so much. The price is on the steeper side of LA coffee culture, however, there are plenty of nearby cafes serving up trash for a buck less. Theres decent seating inside and even more outside (although its part of the Village) Still, extra points for the location next to pond. Yes, I will come again :)”
