“The fact that they have live jazz bands, then play actual jazz vinyl in between sets, is just amazing! But they're food? Well, let's just say that their Crabby Pattie is better than Bikini Bottom's 😋 And, their cozy environment makes it just right”
“Absolutely delicious! Can’t wait to go back. The owner is warm, friendly, and so helpful. The crepes were fabulous!”
“Casual atmosphere, incredible brews, and kombucha for those preferring NA...hard to beat Sanitas Brewing!”
“very nice staff. a quick tasty lunch and you get a lot of good, fresh food for under 20$.”

“Absolutely divine. Our server Caroline was wonderful, and noticed even the smallest details like my husband being left handed when setting the cutlery and offered us an N/A toast when we didn’t order drinks for celebrating. Don’t miss the tres leches and of course the sweet potatoes as everyone comments on!”
“The food was excellent! Minestrone, beef tartare, risotto, and the short rib were all extremely flavorful, well presented, and featured well executed, unique takes on standard fare. The terra misu was out of this world! Mock tails were very tasty, and the service was friendly, knowledgeable and timely. The ambiance was fun and lively without being too boisterous. The only criticism I have is that the servings were pretty small, and even after 3 courses we left feeling a bit hungry.”
“Just got home from visiting my cousin in Colorado. This place is beautiful, and the food very good. I am not a tea person, but I was a little disappointed that they were out of the chocolate orange tea, because I really wanted to try it. Instead I ended up with a huckleberry tea, which was good. My cousin ordered one of the wellness teas.
We had dinner plans, so we just had something light. We ordered 3 appetizers to share. We had Char Siu Bao, Indian Samosas, and a rolled eggplant dish. They were all delicious.
Next time I visit my cousin, we will definitely go back for a real meal.”

“Did the tasting menu and it was fantastic. Some of the cocktails were a little “meh”, and so I’d be more likely to do wine there in the future. The caviar on corn cake—one of the three starters—was probably the best bite of food I’ve had this year.
The crudo (the second course) seemed a bit lacking to me, but others at the table really liked it. Otherwise, everything was perfect.”

“My family and I recently had the pleasure of dining at Basta, and it was a truly wonderful experience. It's not often you find a restaurant that can impress a diverse group including my wife, my mother, and my mother-in-law, but Basta did so with ease.
We started our meal with a selection of appetizers that set a high bar for the rest of the evening. The burrata was incredibly fresh and creamy, a perfect complement to the rich, smoky flavor of the olives. But the real star was the focaccia bread—warm, airy, and with just the right amount of salt, it was impossible to stop at just one piece.
For our main courses, we chose two pizzas and a vegetable dish. The zucchini was a fantastic addition, with the fresh, crisp vegetable elevated by the vibrant basil romanesco and the satisfying crunch of the breadcrumbs. The clam pizza was a delightful surprise, with the briny clams and a hint of lemon perfectly balanced against the smoky, blistered crust from the wood-fired oven. The Daisy pizza was a testament to the restaurant's philosophy of using high-quality ingredients; simple yet perfect, with a wonderfully flavorful tomato sauce and creamy mozzarella.
To finish our meal, we decided to indulge in all of their desserts, and we were not disappointed. Each one was a perfect ending to our dinner. The Campfire vanilla ice cream had a unique, smoky sweetness that was balanced by the vibrant and refreshing orange and beet sorbet. The sweet corn ice cream was an unexpected and delicious highlight, while the rich chocolate budino with pistachio butter was pure decadence. And of course, the donuts were a warm, fluffy, and perfect final touch.
Basta’s combination of a warm, inviting atmosphere and truly incredible food made for a special and memorable night. The staff was attentive and knowledgeable, adding to the overall great experience. We left feeling completely satisfied and already talking about when we could return. I highly recommend Basta for any occasion, whether it's a date night or a special family gathering.
Special thank you to Suzanne and Chef Alex for creating such a special evening.”
“Our first time dining at this place though we have wanted to go for a while after someone posted about it after they opened. Finally made it and glad we made reservations as it was packed since it was peak time Friday evening. Spoke with Koji-san, the owner, while we were waiting for our table and he also stopped by each table to check on them which we thought was great. We had the takoyaki, kaisen-mix okonomiyaki and the spicy miso ramen. All came within a reasonable amount of time and were delicious! Koji-san explained the background of offering takoyaki, which was so interesting and great for him to share. We will definitely be back to try the other menu items, esp their sushi, which looked delicious! Great to see a business busy and doing well!”

“The staff were incredibly friendly from the moment we walked in and very accommodating with our last-minute reservation change. Even though we had an extra adult join us, they managed to seat our group right away. Everyone was patient and attentive the woman at the bar was especially thoughtful, quickly coming over to offer a lidded cup for my toddler. I ordered the paella with a few modifications due to food preferences, and they were more than happy to make the adjustments. As our group trickled in and we caught up with one another, the staff worked seamlessly around us, taking drink and tapas orders without ever making us feel rushed. They checked in often, refilled drinks, and brought out food promptly. Overall, it was a wonderful experience I'd highly recommend this place. The food was excellent; we especially loved the hummus, truffle fries, trumpet mushrooms, and beef ragu gnocchi. Every dish was delicious, and the drinks were fantastic too.”
“We hosted a party here last weekend. What a great place! Everything was incredible! The staff was so nice and so attentive. The food was delicious. We had a heavy hors d' oeuvres: pretzels with beer cheese, piorogies, chicken schnitzel sandwhiches, sausage, and spatzel. The beer and atmosphere were the best. We will go back every time we're in Boulder. Again, every single member of their team was great! Thank you!”
“SUCH an incredible date night!! The dinner was seamless in timing (we love longer dining experiences), and absolutely fresh and delicious. We felt incredibly safe having our own space. Our server was stellar, and we even got to share our meal with a couple of the farm pups! I can't recommend this enough!!”
“When I sat at the bar tonight Kinley was my bartender and she was GREAT. She was friendly, personable, and efficient. I was having a bad day and came in on a whim to relax. Not only did I relax, but I also had a couple great drinks and fun conversation. Thanks Kinley! I’ll be back soon!”
“Everything about this place is incredible. It's my favorite sushi restaurant and one of my favorite restaurants ever. Been going for close to 10 years and will keep going as long as Nobu san keeps it open!”

“My husband & I and our little dog had a fantastic stay!
They covered the basics and so much more.
Location is just about a mile from Pearl street with dozens of restaurants. The beds are comfortable. Rooms are set up efficiently with an L-shaped coach & desk. Free breakfast and wifi. Easy street parking if you want. Coffee available even after breakfast hours. Cookies in the evening.
Nice surprise — trivia in the lobby bar area Monday night.
And the best part was the staff, especially the manager Matt. The staff are friendly and work as a team. At check it there was just one other person checking in and the bartender jumped in the open a 2nd line
It’s a national chain, but we had a family owned business experience.”
“Went in for lunch a couple days ago with a friend for a couple of burgers. There was one server, one cook, maybe a dishwasher. “I usually stop by this Burger King for breakfast, and I have to give a shoutout to Alyssa. She’s there most mornings, and she’s always so kind and on top of things.
The kitchen here is amazing—they crank out breakfast that’s always piping hot and way better than I ever expected from a fast-food spot.
Honestly, they’ve made me a bigger fan of Burger King than I thought I’d ever be!”
Takeout Restaurants
“Got to VIB in Denver last night. Stopped up to McDevitt Taco Supply roof top restaurant and bar. Happy hour was in progress. Sampled 4 different tacos. All excellent bursts of flavor. And the MTS staff and owners are excellent. This is what a first class experience is supposed to be.”
“A star down just coz the restaurant doesn’t serve that amazing Momo chutney/sauce they served at their stall during the Nepali Indra Jatra festival today. It was EXCELLENT and authentic. The sauce they serve at the restaurant is a dumbed down version. I get it that they need to cater to different palettes but I seriously think they need the start serving the real tomato timur/pepper chutney they served today. It took their momos to next level. I would be a regular there if they did. We don’t go as often coz the chutney always disappoints.
I sure hope you guys read this and bring that authentic chutney as an option for those of us who know the real stuff.”
“I’ve been using Skratch for awhile. Switch between it and Tailwind but I prefer Skratch for my marathon training. The carb/ sodium ratio is exactly what I need for my fall race. The passion fruit guava is amazing. Wish it was not a limited edition flavor. All of the flavors are great as well. Definitely recommend Skratch”

“sam is amazing and has checked in on us multiple times and we are having great service!”
“One of my favorite sushi places in the neighborhood, always friendly staff, always delicious and fresh food including their sushi. The place isn't very large and is quite cozy which adds to the overall atmosphere. Have been here several times ans probably would be here more often if I could. Know the owner, from earlier days and he and his wife are always so friendly and warm. Enjoyed fresh sushi as well as their eggplant and agedashi tofu.”

“Our family really enjoyed this place! The katsudon, curry rice, and ramen were great and so happy to finally have a place prepare takoyaki correctly! The owners were super nice as well which made for a great atmosphere. Happy to have a more traditional Japanese style restaurant to frequent in Boulder.”
“This family owned and operated restaurant is a must visit. The food is so tasty and flavorful. Using organic corn, they hand make their own masa. It really pays of in the flavor or their tacos, gorditas, and quesadillas. The veggies are locally sourced. The meat is roasted and cooked to perfection. The prices are also very affordable! At the time of this review, they did not have their liquor license, but we were allowed to bring in our own beer, which we brought in from a local brewery. The goal is to have margaritas and more once they get their license. I highly recommend this place, for lunch or dinner, for a date or for the family. I will be sure to return. *No photos of food because we ate it too fast, but it was super yummy! We tried the chips and guacamole, the burrito with barbacoa, and and combination plate. Even the rice and beans sides were delicious!”
“Last Sunday a few friends and I went to Boulder for the first time. We were told this bar was great and decided to come in. It was truly one of the best experiences we have had. Andy made the experience such a blast, he is exceptional with his craft. Thanks Andy for the good time and laughs! (I think we are good on Tequila for a while) Thanks again. Alex Zach Hodan Jessica”
“Found this place randomly.....looking for nonchain restaurant. Awesome service along with awesome food. The burgers are soooooo good. You will eat ALL of it for sure! Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting Colorado to make this a stop. You will not be disappointed.”

“Had a great meal here for lunch a few weeks ago so decided to use their catering for our baby shower. The food was so delicious and their customer service has been nothing short of wonderful in our experience. It is by far the best middle eastern food we have had in all of Colorado since moving here over 1.5 years ago.”
“My drink was really good. The coffee was strong and fresh. My colleague purchased the tea, which is brewed to order. They were a bit busy in the morning but that is expected. However, they did move pretty quickly. The staff wasn’t the friendliest, but I would return for the coffee when in town.”
“This is the greatest place on earth… Ok but really, this place is 10/10. The staff is incredible, the tea and coffee SLAP, and this is one of the coziest places to chill at. Literally, Pearl Street and Boulder would turn to trash if it wasn’t for Trident. 10/10, best store/cafe in Colorado and the entire South West. Support this amazing place!”
“My husband and I had a great time on our tour of Avery Brewing! Gabe was a fantastic guide and provided thoughtful information about the brewing process and what sets Avery apart from the rest. We enjoyed trying all the tastings and discussing the flavor profiles of each type of beer. We'd highly recommend this brewery tour to anyone visiting the Boulder area!”
“An amazing place!!! Amazing Food!! An amazing staff!!! Great atmosphere!!! Loved everything, can’t wait to go back!!! 🌟 ❤️”
“We went today for the first time and LOVED the meatballs, caesar salad and the lamb pepperoni pizza with a pumpkin beer taster and glass of cab!!! I will be back and soon! Oh… the dessert was so yummy and unique flavors!”
“The food was delicious, except our salad came out very slimy. Our server was great. He took it back and brought us a new one. Overall, food was great. Ambience was great. We enjoyed it.”
“We love Silver Vines in Arvada. The Malbec and Syrah are our favorites. Staff is great and live music on Saturday’s is our favorite. Highly recommend!”
“Sushi Hana is excellent, they always have really good food and great service. Their fried rice and sushi is so good”
“First time dining and delish! We ordered 4 different tapas. Each one had amazing flavors. We had the meatballs, croquettes, mussels and patatas. Yum!”
“I recently visited the Ironwood Bar and Grill in Boulder, Colorado, located right on a gorgeous golf course, and the experience was absolutely lovely. The views were stunning, and what really made the visit stand out was our server, Dylan. He truly went above and beyond—he even handed me an extra lemonade to take with me on the way out. On top of that, he arranged for the chef to prepare a bison burger for lunch, which is usually only available at dinner. I brought along two business guests, and they were equally impressed by both the food and the overall atmosphere. All in all, it was a fantastic dining experience. Definitely worth a visit!”
“queso del mar and guac were excellent. no good margs
but service was mid. waited 30 min to be seated when we had a reservation. waited 15 more min to order by which time i was hangry. other issues too, seemed short-staffed
Evan was cute though:)”
“Everything was great, our favorite were the pastelitos ! Check them out!”
“Karaoke!!! You want to sing come on by and they will fire up the mike. And don't forget about the unbelievable food. Just outstanding.”
“the mussels were exquisitely cooked, and big! Loved the romaine and pear and cheese salad, with candied walnuts for dessert! Highly recommend Russel's place, been going for years..”
“Pumpkin curry was very good, unfortunately the spice level, even at mild, was pretty high.
The service could have been better, especially since the restaurant was only have full.”
“Had an amazing lunch here! Really cannot say enough good things. Everything we ate was delicious. Maybe the best tortillas I've ever had!
I wish I could eat that pork mojo every day. The hash was so good my wife got mad at me for picking at it so much!
As great as the food was the staff made it even better. Allie was the best. Made amazing drinks and gave us some great recommendations for where else to go.
Can't wait to go back! It's that good!”
“This review was inspired by our experience of receiving excellent service by Anna, our server, who displayed genuine care, friendliness, attentiveness, and helpful knowledge of the wine selection.”
“The Italian pasta menu was out of this world and hope it returns. The lasagne with wagyu beef was incredible - a perfect balance of delicious beef, fresh pasta and cheese. My personal fave was the squid ink spaghetti frutti di mare - the fresh tomato sauce combined beautifully with the seafood, and the saffron breadcrumbs made it all truly unique and unforgettable. The tiramisu was delicate, and the ricotta cheesecake with orange marmalade felt fresh and citrusy.”
“Visited Boulder Cork for our anniversary and had the most wonderful experience! All of the staff were so friendly and kind, our food was delicious, and drinks were tasty. Their dinner happy hour menu has great prices and really good options. The prime rib was delectable and the fish & chips were fried to perfection. Mud pie for dessert was incredible as well! Thank you for making our night special! Can’t wait to go back. ❤️”
“Absolutely delicious!! Beautiful clean restaurant with tasty food. Highly recommend, we can’t wait to come back. Finally a place in town with options for Dumplings and Bao Buns!”
“Best sushi I’ve ever had. We were traveling from out of state & the only thing I have to complain about is there aren’t any locations outside of Denver, ruined all other sushi for me. Can’t wait to come back.”
“This place is a life changer! I didn’t know much about different chiropractor options till I went here, It’s not the normal crack and pop and this place will truly align your body & energy. Worth every cent to change your life and body!”
“I was hesitant on ordering a crispy chicken sandwich from a “hotel restaurant and bar” but I’m SO glad I did. The room service was quick and hot, and it was the best chicken sandwich I’ve had.”
“Amazing food!!! Perfectly prepared chicken, salmon, brussel sprouts to die for - loved it. Friendly, attentive service. Clearly seems like a favorite with locals.”
“I love GHI. I have played here many times. The pay is fair and there’s always people wanting to listen to the live music. I love the owners. The food is also really good. 10/10 would recommend.”
“Best quick meal in Boulder! Hope to visit again soon it’s been far too long”
“Called here and was told it could be about an hour of a wait . After going on a walk we later returned and as it was really cold staff let us stand under the heaters which was very good of them . Shortly after we were seated and what followed had to one of the best Dinners we ever had . Real Italian Food served in generous portions by top class staff . A great night out in a great Restaurant”
“Fantastic five course German Style Beer dinner tonight in Boulder. So yummy and great pairing of beer to the food.”
“Great food and very friendly service. On Pearl Street so a kaleidoscope of people walking by.”
“This was the first time my husband and I ate at Pasta Jays. The food was amazing and the service was top notch from all of the staff! But a special shout out to our Hostess Suraela and our waitress Kaytee. We can’t wait to come back and try other dishes!”
“I like the food but the menu is very limited for me when I am trying to eat Low Carb. Almost all of the items offered are either very spicy or fried or high carb. When I am not choosing Low Carb, there are more options. I do love the Vegie Bowl they make, which is one of the more unique menu offerings.”
“The BEST tofu scramble I’ve had as a 10 year vegan international traveler. Hands down. Great options for vegans and really good wine and cocktails.”
“Went to License No 1 last Friday for a comedy show. We enjoyed a drink in the speakeasy area before the show. The ambience was really nice. The comedy show was great - a few openers and then the headliner. Great place for a date night!”
“Had the best dinner tonight for Valentines Day since the lock down. Every bite was delicious! So happy brasserie is still around in some form!”
“Food was alright, I’ve had better suishi in boulder tbh. Just go next door if you want suishi. I think this is more of a place you go if you want more of a spread of Japanese food.
Service however was incredible!!! Jessica is a GOAT! Great suggestions very happy with the service!”
“I ate here once in the past, had to come back with my girlfriend. When I came in on Wednesday, although the restaurant seemed short staffed and took a while to get our food, our server Che was attentive and kept us updated, which made the experience worthwhile”
“Fantastic food. Gluten free options you can't get anywhere else. 10 out of 10 stars.”
“Absolutely loved our meal at Santo! Everything was flavorful and perfectly spicy. Best meal we had on our vacation.”
“Excellent vibes both times I’ve been here. Afrobeats night was a blast, and the service was excellent on both visits. The atmosphere is so alive it even inspired me creatively. Definitely one of those places that stays with you.”
“This takeover by the tacqueria chef from Austin was such a great departure for Alberico Excellent change up, duck tacos and black bean base pizza were delicious highlights. Wine flight was reasonable as was the menu price. Simply another super experience from the Frasca hospitality group. Thanks GM Ben and server Alex for a great night.”
“This place used to have the best happy hour in Boulder but it appears they have inflated the prices quite a bit on food and reduced their happy hour time frame and food offerings. They do have a great service team and outdoor seating. The food is spectacular! Go for dinner or brunch, skip happy hour.”
“Creative and balanced menu with lots of gluten free options. The oyster mushrooms were a huge hit with everyone in our party. We each enjoyed our meals and got to sample a little variety from our different selections. I had the trout which was incredibly! The textures of the components worked well together, each bite was perfection! The cocktail menu is intriguing and my drink was delicious. Will be back when I'm Boulder!”
“Everything. Sat with my daughter at the bar, and the bartender was incredible!!”
“Good experience at the post! Our food was tasty - we especially enjoyed the banana pudding dessert. I appreciated the mocktail options. Our server was being trained, but the person who was training him seemed to know his stuff pretty well! Atmosphere was overstimulating at first when we were automatically seated at the bar area, but this was remedied when we were able to move to a more intimate booth.”
“This was such a great find! I wanted something low key to take my son in a stroller and this place hit the jackpot. There is a ton of room and the bartender is one of the friendliest guys I’ve ever been served by!I got a glass of wine and a charcuterie board while waiting for my husband and the charcuterie came of fast and was delicious.”
“I have been wanting to go to Salt for a couple years and finally made it! The food, service, and atmosphere did not disappoint! We are already planning our next visit back soon to try more dishes!”
“I love that they're open late and have a variety of cookies to choose from. However, I don't know that their pricing is super fair. I purchased a classic cookie six-pack, which was delicious by the way. However, if I wanted a 12 pack it would've been around $30 which is pricey for cookies. If you go to Insomnia, you won't be disappointed with the cookies, they're so so so good!”
“Delicious food! Friendly crew. Try the corn ribs. The Peach Bourbon Smash cocktail was mighty fine!”
“Outstanding experience! Food was exceptionally fresh and flavorful. Enjoyed the atmosphere and sushi chef. Strongly recommend!”
“I went on a Tuesday night. Good crowd for midweek The Chicken Sandwich was probably one of the best I have ever had. Tender chicken, perfectly cooked. Lily waited on us. She was professional, polite and made for extremely enjoyable dining experience. Bartender made killer dirty martinis. I highly recommend. Fantastic staff”

“I love this place! Every bite and swallow is delectable. She offers a relaxing outdoor patio, or a cute, cozy and cool indoor experience. Try everything, on multiple visits. Can't be beat for a delicious breakfast (yummy Arabic coffee!) or lunch. Lovely and talented chef/ proprietor.”
“There are places that placed the priority on the atmosphere to the detriment of the food being served. May Wah has consistently delivered great food, lots of choice, in the neighborhood for as long as I can remember. Don't get me wrong: the atmosphere is most agreeable...(they have a round table with lazy Susan for instance) but the star of this show are the menu choices. I recommend you give them a try!”
“Ordered sushi (Denver, California and shrimp tempura rolls) and general chicken for the family. I ordered online and picked it up. Order was ready at the time requested. Employee was very friendly and made sure everything was correct and it was. I requested no wasabi and gluten free soy sauce. Food was hot and delicious! Yurihana is a favorite for my family. Been going there since 2012. Never had a bad experience.”
“Ihad an amazing experience at whole sol a few days ago. i just moved here from california and was wanting a warm welcome to boulder. So I decided to go get a smoothie bowl. Carson helped me pick out the best kind of smoothie to get and he was very kind. I am very grateful that I had such a good experience at whol sol. thank you carson!!!”

“Absolutely incredible flavors and excellent variety! I wanted more but was so full! I’m ready to come back and try other things… for dinner 🤣🤣! Had the chicken enchilada and forbidden rice with tofu! For desert… the gluten free lemon cake was Devine! HIGHLY recommend!!! ♥️”
“Amazing food and a very professional, lively staff that work well with each other! Have had a few bad experiences at other locations in town compared to other cities I’ve lived in as far as feeling unwelcomed, but this place is one of the only locations that actually makes me miss working in the food industry. The fact they don’t accept cards is a little strange to me since I believe all businesses should accept any form of money. Nevertheless, still good food and good vibes.”
“I went to Cava in Boulder for the first time tonight around 8:00 pm to get a takeout vegetarian bowl. The staff putting the bowl together were very friendly and helpful. Even
cashier was especially welcoming. Later at home I discovered the food was really great, especially the falafel balls. I’ll definitely do there again.”

I brought along two business guests, and they were equally impressed by both the food and the overall atmosphere. All in all, it was a fantastic dining experience. Definitely worth a visit!”
“This place is great! I wandered in here after a show next door @ the Fox & was super excited to see that the old Taco Junky was replaced with a sweet saki bar (plus regular bar) & Korean street food... The drinks were served up quickly by the witty & engaging bartenders & we even got to talk with the owner about hosting events/getting some live music back into the space. He was really funny & welcoming & he actually ended up giving us some shots on the house. Overall it was a really fun place to stumble into on a Friday night & be treated like we belonged... Also, it's probably got the cheapest drinks on the Hill & the pour wasn't weak by any means -- always a plus ;) I hope this place does really well & will definitely be back with more of my crew for more laughs & good vibes. Cheers to you, Scrooge Sul! Welcome to the block!”
“I literally do not like Fish at all!!!
My wife insisted we stop at the truck parked near Jax on 05/01/2025.
As somebody that doesn’t eat fish in any capacity, I kindly asked her to try a piece of her cod, as I was chomping at the bit to remind her she was eating a glorified fish stick…
I then proceeded to order a Baja chicken sandwich and a blackened chicken salad from Modern Market Eatery in Broomfield.
Needless to say I was refunded as both items of my meal had random human hairs in them,
I then was hoping to snag some cod and by the time I got back to Jax, they were long gone.
I wish there were better/safer oils used to fry said cod…. As it’s the age of information and we understand the impacts of other oils… however…
This was some DAMN GOOD FISH!!!
If there’s a review you consider, this is the one.
I’ve not eaten fish since I was 5 years old and force fed it as a child because my mom was broke and fish sticks were cheap.
The fish is so flavorful, and what sold me is the big second bite I took avoiding the sauce and opting for straight breaded fried cod,
Bomb dot com.
I will absolutely eat this grub again, and you should too!!! Atleast once. You won’t be disappointed.”
