“Had the Rainbow Roll (which had vegan BBQ char siu, tuna, and shrimp), the Peking Duck Bao, and the Ube crème brûlée. All were really great - the Ube crème brûlée was probably the most surpising and interesting. Portions were still pretty big despite these being small plates though! “This is a 2nd floor Japanese-Thai speakeasy in Alphabet City where the food menu leans toward Japan while the drinks are Thai-inspired with the menu designed by veteran NYC bartender and Phetchaboon native Sayparn. Her and her partners opened 11 Tigers in 2022 (year of the tiger which symbolizes success). The staff do an excellent job of mixing food and entertainment.“

Had a wonderful time tonight. Came in and got a myself a couple plates. Each meal was full of flavor and well done and well prepared. The waitress I had the pleasure of taking care of me was amazing.

I had the Quail and the Pig Out (for two). Except no way in hell am I sharing that with anyone lol. I ate that for myself!!!

I will say the pig out was such a cool and different kind of take on food. It’s one of those plates. You’ll probably always remember. I have dine at James beer award, winning new restaurants, and all sorts of Michelin rated and starred restaurants. The pig out is a meal I will always remember. And to me that says something.

And this is what the pig out is all about and worth the hype in my opinion …

The Pig Out. Chef Chen takes whole Berkshire pork bellies and cures them in thyme, ginger and salt for five hours before confiting them in duck fat for 15 hours. He then shreds the meat and lays it out on a sheet of pig skin, pressing it down and allowing it to cool. This create a terrine of sorts, with the gelatin in the meat binding everything. Once cooled, the pork is sliced into two inch diamonds and heated in a pan, rendering the skin shatteringly crisp. The pork is served with an arugula salad dotted with persimmons (the fruit changes seasonally) and candied walnuts, peanut noodles, a ginger scallion sauce, and a squeeze bottle of sambal. Chen recommends putting a little of the last two on each each piece of pork to achieve the “perfect bite.”

And there you go!!! if you’re in the area absolutely worth a trip. Go enjoy. It’s worth your time.“

“We came on a Thursday right before the 4th. We were immediately seated and noticed the place was a little warm. Not a big deal because it is one of the hottest days this summer. It's almost 100. We got the High Mixed appetizer and the chicken pad Thai. The sampler was good. Spring rolls were good and the dumplings were good. Couldn't do the crab for seafood allergy but the fourth item, we didn't like. It was the texture and didn't have the flavor I was expecting based on the presentation. Service was ok. They had a little bit of a crowd and got them out of there promptly. The pad Thai was really good. It had the perfect amount of flavor and it was light. We needed it to be light because it is hot outside and we still have a lot of walking to do. Overall, it was good. That last item on the High Mixed can go.“

My waitress was Sammie and she was the most attentive and sweet and helpful waitress ever !! Make sure you ask for her when you go I promise you she will give you the best experience . Make sure you order the beef wagyu quesadillas and the black truffle mash potatoes !!!! They are to dieeee for ! It seems that nearly everything is prepared to order, and as a result if coming here you should be prepared to possibly wait longer than most restaurants for your food to be ready.

“Stopped by for the first time today around 11:40 - food was fresh and reasonably priced. There as another customer here at the same time who was “part of the meal plan” and was absolutely terrorizing the staff. She was extremely combative and unreasonable and immediately escalated to “reporting” the employees. “We always order take out from here but decided to dine in and so happy we did! We sat in the back patio which is covered and had live music. Very nice ambiance.

Food was very delicious as always. A little spicy but the right amount even for those who like mild.
