“What a great hidden gem! My mom and I just discovered this place looking for a nice happy hour to sit down and eat. 7 dollar cocktails and delicious food! The Thai spicy wings were out of this WORLD! Incredible! Everyone should come here for a nice enjoyable happy hour experience. Very clean and the staff is wonderful! Great service, everything was a 10/10!“

“This is a 2nd floor Japanese-Thai speakeasy in Alphabet City where the food menu leans toward Japan while the drinks are Thai-inspired with the menu designed by veteran NYC bartender and Phetchaboon native Sayparn. Her and her partners opened 11 Tigers in 2022 (year of the tiger which symbolizes success). The staff do an excellent job of mixing food and entertainment.“

“Had a lovely dining experience at Beefbar. We started with the crispy rice tuna tartare: tuna had a soft texture and was full of flavor. We shared a 10oz wagyu filet, wagyu bolognese, and truffle fries. Everything was delicious! Steak had a nice char, was tender, and cooked to a perfect medium rare. Pappardelle deserves a chefs kiss!!“

“Stopped by for the first time today around 11:40 - food was fresh and reasonably priced. There as another customer here at the same time who was “part of the meal plan” and was absolutely terrorizing the staff. She was extremely combative and unreasonable and immediately escalated to “reporting” the employees. All employees stayed extremely calm and professional throughout the interaction, I was very impressed with them. Happy to give more information to the owner if she complains“

“Excellent food and service…Buttery smooth melted in your mouth down to the last morsel..,I had the Autumn Fall Sushi roll , the tuna spicy roll not small but a nice size .. “Me and my friends came to Bon chon for lunch and ordered chicken, katsu, fries, and street corn. In terms of the chicken, it’s cooked very well, crispy, and the sauce is delicious. The only takeaway is for people who don’t love salty foods the chicken may seem a little salty but for people who enjoy savory things the chicken is perfect. The pickled radish that comes with chicken offers a mild, fresh, and sweet flavor. For the katsu, it has a hint of spice, and the sauce delivers a sweet and savory flavor. The coleslaw that comes with it, is not soggy and is delivered perfectly, it’s crisp and cool. The only takeaway to have for the katsu is that it’s a little tough/overcooked. The fries are crispy -and golden. It’s soft on the inside and delivers a great flavor. If you prefer salt on your fries we recommend adding salt but if you don’t these fries are perfect for you. And finally for the street corn, it has a great flavor, it’s cooked pretty well, and the cheese and the greens add a nice touch. We would definitely get it again. The staff here are so nice and caring, we would definitely come again, get these foods, and we recommend you try these next time as well.“

“My wife and I had lunch at Franchia after visiting the Mozart exhibit at the Morgan library. Excellent food! We loved the cauliflower soup and pumpkin porridge for starters, and the pan fried tofu and zen salad with steamed tofu and avocado were awesome as entrees. Atmosphere was perfect for a nice conversation, and service was excellent. My wife also had a warm matcha latte with oat milk which was wonderful . Highly recommend Franchia, we will be back!“

“Truly my favorite place to eat. I live a block away so go there all the time on the weekend and for dinner, sometimes take the train from my office in midtown down to Chelsea for lunch. This is truly the only fast-casual place where I feel the food is of high quality - it is clear everything is not mass-produced. The brussel sprouts are hands down the best I have ever had and same with the sweet potatoes. To be honest - everything is absolutely delicious. What makes it so special is you can truly tell that care was put into making everything that is served. Even the way it is displayed shows the amount of effort that goes into the preparation. The food is not over-seasoned or trying too hard to do something different - it is simply cooked well and with good ingredients, mixing which for some reason seems to be rare these days. The steak is honestly as good as steak I have had at much fancier restaurants. This is what fast casual should be. I am the biggest fan. I highly recommend. You will be full after - but the good kind of full!“

It seems that nearly everything is prepared to order, and as a result if coming here you should be prepared to possibly wait longer than most restaurants for your food to be ready.
I do wish there was a way for the restaurant to communicate this to avoid problems with new customers who may be expecting quicker service.“
