“We were celebrating a birthday with a group of six and the food was absolutely delicious! My personal favorites were the Soy Butter Bigoli, Mochi Bombolocini, Scallop, Rigatoni, and the Apple Pie. Most of the food was amazing. The service was fantastic – everyone was so attentive, helpful, and friendly. The atmosphere is super relaxed. I really loved the Umami in the Kenmare cocktail.“

“I order the Joji Box pretty regularly—about once a month—since I work in the same building. While I used to be completely obsessed with their takeout omakase box, I have to admit the quality has dipped slightly over time. It was incredibly fresh before, and though it’s not quite the same now, I still find myself going back whenever I’m craving sushi. Plus, if you work in the building, you get a 10% discount, which is a nice perk.“

“This is a 2nd floor Japanese-Thai speakeasy in Alphabet City where the food menu leans toward Japan while the drinks are Thai-inspired with the menu designed by veteran NYC bartender and Phetchaboon native Sayparn. Her and her partners opened 11 Tigers in 2022 (year of the tiger which symbolizes success). The staff do an excellent job of mixing food and entertainment.“

“Affordable and insanely tasty soup dumplings (xiao long bao). The scallion dumplings are a who other level too. Not sure why their overall score is mid. It’s not a high end but isn’t that the point. Mid interior. Staff are helpful and completely on bothered by hoopla over their yummy food. Chow mein and beef with scallions also memorable. Kid friendly.“

“I've dined at Catch several times across the US. I really like NYC Catch. Food was amazing. Server was great. We ordered scallop and salmon belly nigiri -great, crispy rice - great, rock shrimp - great, center cut steak - tasty and tender, wagyu rice - great would've been even better if we added lobster, hit me chocolate cake. I don't drink so I ordered mocktails the lychee martini was great but I didn't like the virgin expresso martini. They need to work on that flavor. Great experience. Glad we chose it. There are tons of great places to dine in NYC but I'm glad we chose that one last night.“

The waiters were professional and attentive to every detail, and the overall dining experience was quite enjoyable. However, I found some of the dishes a bit conservative and perhaps not particularly memorable, and the prices are quite high. Overall, it's a restaurant where you won't disappoint, but the level of surprise depends on personal taste. It's a good choice for important occasions.“

“A fully vegan Korean restaurant situated right in the heart of Manhattan?! My west coast heart is pounding in jealousy and longing to return once again. It's often very hard to find restaurants that serve fully vegan Korean food so the fact that this exists is truly special. A lot of items will be vegetarian at best so to be able to have an extensive menu to order from is a treat. My friends and I came here for lunch and were seated fairly quickly in their hip restaurant. I ordered a couple of things: - Combination Pancakes consisting of sweet corn cilantro, scallion & spicy kimchi offerings. This was their take on traditional Korean jeon and I didn't realize they'd bring out so many small pieces for the table. My favorite was definitely the sweet corn cilantro. - Crispy Korean Chili Tofu Lunch Special, which included a soup and salad of the day as well as two additional banchan (including a pancake!) The tofu was fried to sweet perfection and the chili sauce was top notch. There ended up being more than enough food just from this alone. I hope this spot sticks around because I'll certainly be coming back to fill my Korean cravings without needing to play around with the menu at other restaurants. It seems that nearly everything is prepared to order, and as a result if coming here you should be prepared to possibly wait longer than most restaurants for your food to be ready.
I do wish there was a way for the restaurant to communicate this to avoid problems with new customers who may be expecting quicker service.“

“Me and my partner came here for dinner before they closed, the service was the fastest i think I’ve ever experienced, waiter and waitress were really nice. California roll was absolutely to die for. The orange chicken was the best I’ve had and fried rice was fantastic. 10/10 experience I recommend. It is on the expensive side but I still think it’s worth it. If you have the money to go, don’t waste your time thinking about it.“

“We always order take out from here but decided to dine in and so happy we did! We sat in the back patio which is covered and had live music. Very nice ambiance.

Food was very delicious as always. A little spicy but the right amount even for those who like mild.

“I am obsessed with sichuan food, and found this place to be delicious! I was dining solo, so I was only able to try one dish, but the dry pot chicken was phenomenal. Juicy chicken, tasty vegetables, and strong-but-not-overwhelming spice. You will not regret a visit here.“

“This is currently our favorite omikase restaurant. The food is always excellent and we appreciate the fixed seating times so it makes it easier to plan an evening.
But please - if you come here, in order to fully enjoy the subtle flavors of the sushi, don’t wear perfume or cologne. Our last two experiences here were somewhat marred by adjacent guests’ overwhelming fragrances. All of the senses should be focused on enjoying this amazing food, and having ones sense of smell assaulted by perfumes distracts from the experience of both the wearer and the people around them.
