“One of our favorite restaurants in Seattle; it can be hard to get in but food is always great and the service is warm. The new heated outdoor patio is a lovely extension. Many thoughtful touches, including a dedicated mocktail list. I am gluten avoiding and have never had an issue here; there are many dishes without wheat and some pasta dishes can be swapped to be on a polenta cake base. (They will be honest about which pasta dishes lend themselves well to this.)Dietary restrictions: If you are gluten avoiding, they can still offer many of the pasta dishes with polenta instead. It's a decadent, creamy polenta brick crisped in a pan and usually offered as a side.”

I got the curry vermicelli bowl with tofu and it was very spicy but the kitchen was nice enough to add a bit more coconut milk to make it more mild. The hokkien wok noodles were also spicy but a lot more tolerable for me (I typically can't handle spice very well). The vietnamese coffee creme brulee was yummy and I would love to get it again! Super cute interior with snowboards and nice dim lighting. Great spot for a date night and I like the unique fusion menu”

“As someone missing Mexican food truck cuisine since switching to a full vegan lifestyle, Rojo’s comes the closest to scratching that itch so far. On entering I was happy to see they had plenty of seating and friendly staff. I only had the tacos Al pastor to try with rice+beans and just by appearance alone it was already taking me way back. I could hardly wait that I had to pull over and have a taco on my way home and it was everything I missed about authentic Mexican food truck fare. Will definitely be back but won’t be soon enough!”

Very happy how the staff sets boundaries for the cats and that they also have an area they can go to if they want alone time (the cats not the staff lol)The kitties are very well behaved and adorable, there’s lots of toys to play with and plenty of comfy places for them to be just piles of sleep.I was worried it would be weird with other people in the room but it was totally fine both times and everyone was really respectful. The second time I came was for a Taylor Swift listening party and it was awesome. I definitely recommend coming here for the cats and coming back because of the staff and vibes.”

“We had an amazing dinner at a specialty pizza restaurant in Seattle named Sunny Hill. It’s a little hole in the wall that has the best Pizza and appetizers in Washington. If you’re ever in the area, make sure to check it out. It was so good to be with the family and finish up some details for today’s big event.”
“Do yourself a favor — EAT AT LOTUS POND. (1) Carpool to Lotus Pond. The more the merrier. (2) Appetizers: You can’t lose. Everything is good. Me? I eat the Imperial Rolls. Get two orders of the egg rolls aka Imperial Rolls — one order won’t be enough for 2 people. Start there, you’ll be very happy. Also order the pork belly on the skewers please, No regrets. It’s very good. (3) Noodle Soups. Every bowl Is a winner. Pho is great, no question there. However, you absolutely must eat the SEAFOOD with special Red Noodle. (4) Early enough during the day, drink the Viet Ice Coffee. (5) Too bad they don’t have enough staff/hands to make the BANH CUON but they make up for it in many ways. Try everything on the menu. I’m not a relative. I don’t get money or fame for recommending Lotus Pond. I just know authentic good food when I see and eat it. Try it. You will leave with a full, joyous stomach … you will be very satisfied. Happy eating!”

24 Hour Restaurants
“OVERVIEW: This is an ecclectic boutique hotel located in Seattle. Conveniently located within walking distance of Downtown, the Waterfront, Pikes Market & Belltown. While I had a rental car, I found myself walking most places. There's an advantage to this as it allows you to get the feel for the neighborhoods and experience more. I have been to Seattle numerous times, specifically this area as well. However there were glass blowing shops, retail stores, coffee shops and other single-owned businesses that I have otherwise missed when driving the area and due to having to pay closer attention to traffic and less of the scenery. LOCATION: The location is perfect. Located on the Metrolink, within walking distance of downtown, the pier, the waterfront, the space needle, and any coffee shop you coukd want to go to. A convenient location that is extremely walkable and safe during both the daytime and evening hours. INTERIOR: Tastefully brightly colored. Lobby with an easily accessible and friendly front desk. Elevators are adjacent to the lobby. They have a Fitness facility, a small kitchen area, a small bar area, and very comfortable seating in the lobby. I came during Christmas, and it was wonderfully decorated to include reindeer, a tree, and a surprise. Find the elf every night and win a complimentary gift. I won the last night I was here and was extremely thrilled with the cup, hot chocolate, cake pop, and complimentary beverage coupons. This is an encouraging environment in which to have fun with an air hockey table, multiple board games, puzzles, and a Pac-Man video game old school. And yes, I did observe several people over my 4-day stay that did partake in the fun and games. It was a very relaxed environment. PARKING: There are three options for parking. You can use the underground parking which is secure and very convenient. You can park on the outdoor top deck, which I did as well. Or you can choose street parking which I do not advise. Parking is at this time of the review $42 a night. It is well worth it. There is no valet option, but you really don't need it. There is a covered overhang that is more than adequate for four vehicles in case it should be inclement weather by your arrival or departure. When you depart, please keep in mind that it is a left turn only. You are pulling onto a one-way street. LODGING: Upon arrival you receive a spacious room with a queen size bed or two double beds and option of one bathtub or a shower and an air conditioning unit and usually a view of either the city or the monorail. I chose the city and was very pleasantly surprised the rooms were quiet. I did run the air conditioner fan just for white noise and slept like a baby. There is a small chair with an ottoman in the room as well as a very large screen TV and a huge desk. The room was extremely clean. I did not find the usual dust bunnies or hair anywhere within the room or bathroom. COMPLIMENTARY: You receive unlimited free bottled water & coffee. In addition, they have complimentary pineapple infused water, which was quite tasty. They do have additional beverages and snacks for purchase. They offer complimentary umbrellas for use on those inclement weather days. They are colorful and large, making it easier for your visibility. CUSTOMER SERVICE: Outstanding. I dont say that lightly, I measure this based upon my previous stays at The Peninsula Beverly Hills, Beverly Hills Hotel, Intercontinental, Four Seasons, and Fairmont Brands to mention a few. Service with the front desk was professional, personalized & knowledgeable about the area. While checking you in, they treat you as if they are a concierge. You don't feel rushed. They answer any and all questions you have and make you feel very welcome. They have an "Everything" button on your telephone that was answered by the third ring . . . Every time. CONCLUSION: Will I be back? The question is, WHEN will I be back.”

The cafe's location was great, walking distance and near a lot of neat places on 5th ave, the meal portions were huge, the food tasted great, and its got a cool vibe. We went during happy hour-- I ordered from the happy hour menu but my hubby and daughter ordered from the dinner menu, and I'd have to say, the happy hour options were an even better deal. They have something for everyone in the menu.”

It had an ideal balance of creaminess from the cashew butter, tanginess and earthiness from the fermented carrots and marinated beets, and freshness from the herbs and greens on top.”

Everything tastes like it is made with care from high quality ingredients. We also enjoyed the crispy potatoes and butter mochi. My husband, who has celiac, was in chicken heaven. A few notes: Definitely pre-order. They seem to be busy from right when they open at 4pm. Also it can be hard to find a parking spot in the area so you will want to allow time for that. Lauren was our server and she guided us through the meal beautifully. I ordered the scallops and my friend ordered the bucatini. We both really enjoyed the dishes but for me, the star was dessert. We had the lemon parfait (which sounds so simple, it was very complex and not a traditional parfait) and the Oaxacan torte.I do want to give Lauren another special shout out because she made us feel so welcomed and offered incredible hospitality. As the AGM of a restaurant myself, she’s definitely a gem. She even took the time to write a list of places we should go and see, all of which we are experiencing today. “This is a small coffee shop attached to a creative space and has limited seating. Love the celebration of culture here. You will find a menu of Vietnamese coffee creations that aren't super common. We got the cà phê lá dúa (pandan condensed milk) hot. Pretty smooth, very light pandan flavor, and you still taste the dark, roasted coffee bean flavor. And they used this really cool Hermann cup design that hot drinks don't need a cup sleeve.”

The only thing I will say, is they say they take about an hour to cook but we found longer than that with a pretty intense steam, was what it needed to get the masa dough cooked all the way through. we love the jalapeño and cheese the best but really, you can’t go wrong with any of the flavors. The staff is kind and pick up and ordering is pretty simple if you read all the directions. Don’t miss out on those awesome salsas!!”

The Willie Lee was a good balance of sweet and savory with the berry jam and bacon.We did encounter an issue with the food taking a long time to come out. The best Pinot Noir and Merlot I've had in the state of WA has been at Footprint. Ken (the owner) is a phenomenal human, if you have the opportunity to pick his brain about wine I'd take it. Then we ordered the mojito platter for appetizer which included the yucca fries, tostones and fried plantains. For entrees we had camarones Carmen Miranda, vaca frita and pescado mojito. Every single dish we tried were so perfectly seasoned, beautifully plated and delicious. You can tell that each dish is made with love. The flavors in each dish will remind you of a destination so far away, a culture represented in its food. We finished off our meal with the desserts, quesillo and tres leches. Both were delicious as well. I highly recommend this place. We will be back to try the rest of the dishes in their menu. This is a hidden gem. Luam, the owner is an amazing host, he’s the owner. “Had lunch here today with my cousin while I'm in town for a convention. We grew up in Texas so have expectations when trying a new Mexican restaurant and this exceeded them. Started out with an amuse bouche which I'd never had before at a Mexican restaurant. It was a small tortilla topped with beans, a delicious sauce, and two other things I don't quite remember but was so good! We ordered the guacamole with salsa and chips to start. I'm not a big salsa eater but I loved the guacamole, both for flavor and texture. My cousin ordered the carne asada which she let me taste and it was delicious, with very tender meat. I had chicken flautas, which had great texture and flavor. There were also several tvs, so I got to see some of Champions League, which I hadn't expected while traveling.”

“My partner chose Stateside for his birthday dinner, and it was all around an excellent experience! Ambiance is modern, clean, and not stuffy at all. You'd feel just as comfortable in athleisure as you would in dressy cocktail attire here. Staff was welcoming and extremely knowledgeable, and paced the meal perfectly. We started out with a cocktail each--I can't recall the names as their website cocktail menu does not match what we saw, but my partner had a mule with lime leaf and galangal that was absolutely spectacular. The lime leaf and galangal made my palate SING and it was hands down the best iteration of a mule we've ever had. Now the most important part: FOOD. CRISPY DUCK FRESH ROLLS | Y'all weren't playing, this was the GOAT, and by far our favorite dish. It was texturally perfect, and I do not throw that description around lightly. The crispness of the spring roll inside a fresh roll!? Absolutely genius. I will say that my Korean American palate registered the seasoning on this as just barely teetering on a tiny bit oversalted side (esp with the accompanying dipping sauce), but the texture was so divine that I really can't dock it. STICKY RICE DUMPLINGS | A deconstructed dumpling, really. The rice dumpling on its own would have been nothing to write home about, but the combination of everything (ethereally fluffy dungeness crab! earthy maitake! perfectly cooked taro!) with the broth made it all work so well, especially texturally. The broth was basically buttery liquid gold. MASTER STOCK CRISPY CHICKEN | This was perfectly good chicken, but I can't say it was that memorable as a whole. We ordered a side of the brussel sprouts which were delicious (again, texture was on point with the rice cracker pieces) as well as the ginger rice to go along with this, and I have to say the brussel sprouts were far more memorable. Superb texture really seemed to be the central theme of our dinner, so while I'd really recommend Stateside to everyone, I'd ESPECIALLY recommend it for those who have an extra appreciation for textural masterpieces.”

I ordered a Penang curry which they served in a coconut (super cute in person and it comes with fresh coconut juice ), pad Thai and fresh rolls. I'm used to Vietnamese spring rolls so I thought the sauce specifically didn't really go well with the rolls. The curry was good (on the spicier side) and the pad Thai was decent.”

“This place is amazing if you visit in person! We ordered once during the pandemic and wasn’t impressed, but decided to give it another try. We were not disappointed! The menu is pretty extensive. We ordered an assortment of skewers (our favorites were the pork belly, beef and fat, and chicken gristle) which were all nicely cooked and had great flavor. We also got a side of cold cucumbers which were refreshing and slightly tart / sweet and the spicy rice noodles. My husband loved the noodles which were very comforting to eat alongside the skewers. Everything tasted very fresh, was served quickly, and decent in portion. We hit $88 and the waitstaff gifted us with a shrimp dish, which was also very yummy. After the meal, staff also gave us two yakult drinks to wash it all down. The service was also great - water and napkins were provided without us having to ask. So glad we decided to stop by! Staff is friendly and welcoming.When there’s a line, wait times can be a few minutes as there’s usually only one person taking orders and making the coffee.I would like to see Nos Nos improve their pastries. The pastries are not enclosed in cases; I’ve had several that were stale even in the morning because they’re uncovered, so I’ve stopped buying them. I have seen some bugs land on the pastries as well. They really should be in cases to preserve quality!”

Maybe that messed up my perspective a little, but I still think that this was some pretty good pizza. There's pretty much always a long line out the door, and getting a table inside will cost you quite a lot of time. We wanted to dine in but after seeing the crowd and the delay in getting orders out, we opted for takeout instead. In total, we probably waited around 25-30 minutes outside before ordering, and an additional 30 minutes to get our pizza.Their menu is quite limited which I appreciate, and we got the pepperoni and peppers pizza. These pizzas are large, but also very thin hence the NY style. The crust itself was the perfect texture - thin and crispy on the bottom to hold all the toppings firmly. It was topped with little pepperonis, sweet chopped peppers, and additional sprinklings. I did feel like there was a little something lacking flavor wise, though I couldn't exactly pinpoint what it was. The flavor of the crust also wasn't entirely up there either. For what it's worth, I will say that this is still really good pizza, especially for an area like Seattle. Service is also really friendly which is always a plus. However, if you're expecting something mindblowing or comparable to New York, you probably won't find that here.”

I used to live in Japan, and the food, atmosphere, and service all reminded me of “kaiseki (high-end, many small courses all beautifully plated) meets izakaya (savory pub food, upbeat atmosphere, always go with a friend or three). The brilliance of TOMO is the mashup of the two, something you normally wouldn’t find in Japan.Went with my husband and we ordered the set menu plus the rolls. Everything was tasty, beautifully prepared, and served at a nice pace - not too fast, not too slow. By the end, we were perfectly full. In Japan they say “hara hachi bu” which basically means “eat until you’re 80% full.” TOMO courses felt a bit more generous than that, maybe 90%, but by the time we were done with our digestifs after dessert, we were pleasantly full-but-not-overfed.We had cocktails before dinner (mine was NA), a bottle of wine with dinner (took half home), and digestifs with dessert. Part of the genius of TOMO is their delightful and knowledgeable sommelier, who made excellent off-menu recommendations for wine and shared nice little stories around each winemaker.Another fun surprise was the extensive list of all kinds of liquors, including some rare, vintage, and hard-to-find selections. There’s a particular bourbon maker we love and it’s rare to find even one of their bourbons at a restaurant - but TOMO had three.We ended up paying just north of $400 for two, including wine, drinks, and tip (included in the bill the way we like it, and well-deserved). It would have been south of $300 without the alcohol. So yes, it’s a special treat, but it’s what you’d spend at any higher-end restaurant in Seattle.All the tables were in 2- and 4-top arrangements and the atmosphere works well for couples and groups as large as four. We actually started at the bar, which is lovely, and there were some solo diners seated there.Parking was a bit challenging, the main drag of White Center was full, but we found a perfect lot in front of the Domino’s, which is one block behind the main drag and two blocks away from TOMO.My two suggestions for the restaurant: first, the bar stools are very uncomfortable, my husband and I are not large people but our legs were falling asleep halfway through our meal. We requested a move to a table halfway through the meal. The banquette was fine but the individual chairs at the tables aren’t much better. The bar stools and chairs should all be upholstered, which will probably run less than replacing them. Second, both of our steak knives were laughably dull, we couldn’t cut the steak or even the green onion without a ridiculous amount of sawing. I told our server the knives need sharpening and she said they have them sharpened every two months. This is simply not enough, even for good knives. Have them professionally sharpened every two months, yes, but knives should be touched up before every service, even if you’re just using an inexpensive Chef’s Choice and giving the blade 5-10 quick draws. The custom TOMO knives are beautiful but they are not the crown jewels.We’ll definitely be back again, next time with another couple. Our plan for our larger group is to skip the set menu and just order one of the entire regular menu, which will be about right for four people (and it includes their fried chicken, a measure of a great izakaya).”

“This is one of the best brunches I have had in Seattle. The menu is absolutely amazing and everything looked so good. We had the avocado toast, salmon omelet, two eggs, and the breakfast sandwich and they were all 10/10. The iced oat milk cinnamon latte was also stellar. The cocktail menu is fire.”

“Makes you feel as if you are in some Italian grandmas kitchen waiting for a meal. It has a very older home vibe to it. I have gone here twice and found the pastas delicious as you can really taste the difference of house made pasta and not. They had gluten free pasta which is the main reason we had gone here as a friend has celiac. The service was okay as we did run out of water for a bit. Overall a nice place though.”

“Cool little place. Service was excellent! Staff very friendly and accommodating. Unfortunately they were out of mushrooms and I was really craving mushroom pizza. We ended up getting the Birds Eye hot honey pizza. It was good but it had a little too much honey. It tasted really sweet. I love hot honey and thought it would be really good. I think less is more with honey. Sad I missed out on the other pizza.”

“Had a fantastic breakfast at Sunrise. The staff is very efficient in seating and order intake. The scramble came out warm and delicious. I ate the entire thing! It specializes in simple and traditional breakfast offerings. A nice break from fancier area venues. And a great value!”
“The food is all very good. I especially liked the seared salmon belly. The rice is an amazing texture. The cashier/waitress also bagged up my food for me to take home. I always find this extra level of service to be nice. I look forward to coming back in a few months and giving a better review. My drink could’ve come out a bit quicker than it did. I waited for water and my tea for, maybe just under 10 minutes. My appetizer also came out after three of my Sushi courses. Maybe they don’t do coursing, but that was not communicated. It also seemed as though the staff they had was not familiar with the full menu. They were not able to make the taiyaki ice cream dessert for me because their main chef was not present, and no one was trained on how to make it. I think these are the kind of things that can be expected from a new restaurant. I look forward to coming back once again when I feel as though they’ve had adequate time to smooth out the bumps. As other people have pointed out the pricing is also quite good for what you get.”
“Everyone was super friendly from the moment we walked in. Everything we tried was delicious- martini, smoked fish mouse, liver pate, clams, salad, panna cotta. The space truly reminds me of Paris. It doesn't look like anything else in Seattle. I will say, since it's so small inside, the tables are sort of close together and it was a little loud. Will go back anyways! Food is more like heavy snacking. Hard to get a full dinner unless you order almost all items.”
“Every dish we had was impeccable! My favorite was the Uni Spaghetti with Salmon roe. My husband’s favorite was the Lamb with Salsa Verde, but honestly you can’t go wrong. Alanna’s service was perfect, she had the best wine pairings and suggestions. Can’t wait to come again!”

“I visited Golden Roosters with my kids today and ordered the fried soy sauce garlic chicken and teriyaki chicken sandwiches. I was so surprised and it was so delicious! It tastes like authentic Korean fried chicken and was so crispy and juicy. The coleslaw salad was also really good, and the atmosphere and the service of the staff were very good. ?”

Currently enjoying the beautiful capital hill location at Captain Blacks. Pro tip order via Toast and pick it up, don't pay the doordash fee and grab a drink while you wait and even with a great tip you still save money and support small local businesses.”
“Boyfriend took me here. He absolutely loves Vietnamese food (he has spent some time there). I had a sandwich that was chock full of veggies and had so many layered tasted I was so pleasantly delighted. Very fresh ingredients and well made. Looking forward to coming back.”
“Got 2 tenders (1 hot, 1 medium) with fries and slaw for delivery. Tenders were a really good size, and both hot and medium were tasty, though I think I'm leaning more toward the hot as my preference. Fries were the crinkle cut kind, like you get in the frozen section of the grocery store. Kale slaw was really good. I had expected the tenders to be covered in sauce for some reason, but they were covered in powder, like Cheeto dust. They do come with a house sauce that's pretty good. Overall, I liked it and would order again next time I'm craving fried chicken.”
“This is a review of the M2M food court: Bon. Stop by Bon in the m2m food court for some pretty good Korean and Asian food eats in cap hill. Very casual, food court, with average prices in Seattle for Asian foods. I really liked the jajangmyeon and cheese katsu. Food I got the jajangmyeon and overall I liked the flavor of the sauce and the noodles were good and chewy. The sauce had kind of a smoky flavor to it that I haven't noticed at other jjm spots. Only thing I complain about is the small portion size. My friends ordered cheese katsu, cheese katsu don, curry katsu, miso ramen, and takoyaki. Everyone liked their food and would come again if in the area for a quick bite. The cheese katsu was better than the cheese katsu don in my opinion. Atmosphere Open food court that is a decent size but nothing too big like a mall sized food court. Casual and nothing fancy inside. The noise level is not too loud. Pricing Food prices were average for Asian comfort food eats in Seattle. Price was decent for the taste and quantity of food. Service Everything is self serve. Order food at the kiosk and then pick up when you number comes up on the screen. Drop off trays near front. Other Located on the second floor of m2m mart! Signs pointing out the stairs to get up there are pretty clear since right by entrance of the mart. They are closed 2:30pm-4:00pm for break and also ALL DAY Sunday.”
“One of our favorite restaurants in Seattle; it can be hard to get in but food is always great and the service is warm. The new heated outdoor patio is a lovely extension. Many thoughtful touches, including a dedicated mocktail list. I am gluten avoiding and have never had an issue here; there are many dishes without wheat and some pasta dishes can be swapped to be on a polenta cake base. (They will be honest about which pasta dishes lend themselves well to this.)Dietary restrictions: If you are gluten avoiding, they can still offer many of the pasta dishes with polenta instead. It's a decadent, creamy polenta brick crisped in a pan and usually offered as a side.”
