“Food & drinks were off the charts amazing! Glad to have tasty gluten-free options here in town. We started with the pimento cheese & GF toast, and split the RC burger & broken potatoes for our entree. The portion of potatoes was very generous, and could easily be split between 2-3 people. Staff was friendly & attentive, even on a busy Saturday night. We ate inside for our date night, but the outdoor seating is perfect for mild weather. Highly recommend making a reservation at least a couple days in advance. Will definitely be back!”
“We have been visiting Blugrass Grill for years every time we go to Chattanooga (from Atlanta) for good reason. We visited again this morning on our way back to Atlanta and it was amazing as always. “Amazing! Where do I even begin! The atmosphere reminiscent of a steak house I loved called Starks in Northern California. You smell the smokey wood fire smell with none of the downside. Air is clear and fresh. Kitchen is visible from most the restaraunt. Server Robbie was truly a server. He gave great suggestions and was very attentive. On his suggestion I tried the whipped feta appetizer which came with fresh made pita. I love feta but this was a whole new level with honey in the center. My husband ordered buttermilk fried chicken. It was tender and juicy on inside and nice crispy on the outside. Entrees are A la carte. I ordered the charred gem lettuce and wood oven roasted fingerling sweet potatoes. Hubbie shared all my sides and tried some of his chicken. Perfect meal! Then we ordered dessert. Because really that's why we came. My coworker raved about their tres leches cake. And it was topped with fresh whipped cream not from a can.hand whipped. Yummy. We will be back. So satisfied. Definitely fine dining but not snobby and dress as you like.”

“To be completely honest, went into the night with average expectations. I was afraid it would be awkward. Oh, was I wrong… the staff and the actors made everyone feel so comfortable! It was corny but in a way that everyone felt like they could be involved. The clues were difficult and had me stumped, but it all made sense once they told us at the end. 10 out of 10 would recommend. The host and the actors were phenomenal!!! It was better than any movie I have ever attended. If you want a great night, go to the detective dinner!”

“The chicken parm sandwich tasted great, but it mostly consisted of bread. It contained one small piece of chicken, basically a thin chicken tender that could have been 4 times larger and still fit into the bread. I also tried the french dip sandwich, which I'd recommend.”

“I have never felt so welcome at a restaurant before until i walked through these doors. The atmosphere, the servers, the chef himself, and even the guests were just all around in an amazing mood. They took care of us for sure. The food was extremely delectable. The chef, Mike Adams came to talk to us and made us feel welcome and our server Sydney did the same with her exceptional service. We aren’t from Chattanooga but a 2 hour drive is worth it if my family and i are going back to dine here. And PLEASE try the blueberry bread pudding. DELICIOUS. If i could give a Michelin Star i most certainly would. Thank y’all so much. I like WH chains but normally I accept that my hashbrowns won't be perfect because either the waiter doesn't call it in correctly or the cook is too busy or lacks experience yet perhaps. Let me start off by saying I was highly impressed by the aesthetics of the restaurant. It was pretty, clean and hip. I ordered the jackfruit nacho over the phone and it was ready upon my arrival. I met the owner of the restaurant and she was super nice. I was highly impressed by the jackfruit nacho. It was super delicious even my non-vegan co-workers said it looked good. The next day I came back to Cashew for the Bierria tacos and they were also delicious . I would definitely recommend this restaurant if you are visiting Chattanooga, the food does not disappoint, the atmosphere is nice and the staff is friendly. I am grateful to find a good vegan restaurant when I’m traveling.”

I expected more choices but these cookies were still the best cookies I’ve ever had in my life. Also… there were two girls working there when we went and they both had the best customer service skills I’ve seen in a long time. They were so nice and so welcoming. This place was so busy when we went but both of them were still so friendly and patient with each person. We visited this place on March 9th in the evening. “BeCaffeinated is one of my favorite coffee shops in Chattanooga. I have always had the most pleasant and welcoming experiences at any of their locations (I have been to each one.. multiple times). As much as I love their coffee and enjoying the outdoor seating at the Northshore location, what I love most about BeCaff. is their involvement with the community. Each month the shop hosts giveback days, which I think is totally incredible. Not only that, they offer their space to be used by other community partners and are always involved in something within the community. I know some argue that local coffee shops charge too much, but I will stand by my decisions to support BeCaff because it is evident they are investing in the community, not just a chain trying to make a profit. BeCaffeinated feels like something larger than a local coffee shop, they truly are an incredible member of the community! You guys are one of the things that makes me love Chattanooga!Also, I love that I can bring my dog and hang out on the patio, or pick up a coffee before we walk around the park.”
“I'm just gonna come out and say it: I LOVE Lola Beans. I only found out about it a week ago and I've been every day since to pick up my morning coffee, even though it's not on the way to my work. Their menu is extensive, to say the least, and they let you customize your drink with all sorts of flavors and options that you don't find anywhere else, which makes it a way better value than some of the more corporate coffee brewers around the area. More importantly, their drive-thru is FAST, with baristas coming over to your car to take your order before you reach the window. They even take Apple Pay and have a rewards program, so I find it hard to go anywhere else when I've got just a few minutes to make my commute, get some coffee, and go back to work. The place itself is also very cute, perched up on the hill going down East Brainerd in a hard-to-miss spot.”

I added a star.Cold and a bit depressing inside with a server who is not knowledgeable about the beers.Why three stars?1. I’m sure this place is packed and lively in the evening, but I came in on Friday around 1 PM, and it was really empty and cold. I know that this is an older building with high ceilings and glass windows, but it was freezing. I probably should’ve just left, but I thought once I had a beer and some food in me, I would warm up. I did not. It was really chilly the entire time.2. I will say my server was initially attentive. She was very nice. But it was only me and two other tables…the entire time. And she just didn’t appear again except to bring the food. The place had only three seated tables out of several, and two people working, thus, the server should’ve been much more present. (See the photo I took of no one behind the bar). Later, I saw the two servers way off to the side, talking to each other, behind the bar. But if you’re looking to catch a server’s eye to refill water or anything else, it’s really awkward when you have to go up and start looking around for her. At a minimum, I should not have to be flagging her down, very, very minimum she should at least be visible somewhere in the restaurant so that if I do have to walk around, I can find her.She asked me what I wanted to drink, and then disappeared, did not offer much advice on the beer at all, even though I told her I was from Asheville (a big beer town) and I asked if she had any High gravity, and she said,“just scan the QR code.” I told her what type of beer I liked, and I asked for suggestions, and again she said, “Scan it and you’ll see a list.” She wasn’t offering any advice on any beers and I found it really unusual in a bar that is so beer focused…And so empty. It’s not as if she had to rush off to a bunch of other tables. I really expect my bartenders/servers (at a place known for beers) to say “this has some undertones of this” or “this one’s a little grassy“ or “this is a nice hoppy IPA, but it’s a bit cloudy.“ But she wanted me to do my own research and just told me to scan the QR code. Again, with no one here, she could’ve walked me through some of the beers. Since I did not have any recommendations, I thought I would have a flight, and even then, when I was saying, “what about this one?” she told me to write down the numbers. Maybe I’m spoiled from living in Asheville, but I am really accustomed to the bartenders telling me the details about the beers when I ask a question. And this is a place that… does… Beers. I just really expected to have a conversation about it, and that’s one of the reasons I came in. The server seem to know absolutely nothing about the offerings.3. Terrible Wi-Fi. It is free Wi-Fi, but the entire time I had less than one bar. It made it tricky, because I needed to contact a couple of people and get a few things done, but it was really really bad Wi-Fi. I know this is not a business or a café or people that come to get the work done, but hopefully with the Wi-Fi you should have at least two bars.4. Food. Here is the real reason for three stars. I really did not enjoy the food. I would never give a three star review to a place just because the Wi-Fi was spotty and it was cold. Or even if the server was not knowledgeable. But the food was really disappointing. I ordered the boneless wings, and the barbecue sauce that covered them seemed rather generic, and they felt a bit soggy and they were cold! The blue cheese was runny and not chunky and they were $20! For a pound basket. I ordered a pound so I could have some to take home. And I really wish I had only ordered a half a pound. They just weren’t good. I’ve had boneless wings all over the place, and these tasted like something that you would get that were frozen and then thawed out and just slathered in some sauce. The sauce was too heavy, the wings were not crispy and good. The sauce weighed them down.”

The dance floor is very small & you'll be bumping into people while trying to dance. Everyone there was super friendly & having a great time. The "Queens" were awesome. It costs $10 per person to get in & if you go outside at any time, you will have to repay the $10 to get back in.”

Our waiter was nice but not very knowledgeable about how the food was prepared when asked if the Mac and cheese was baked or just regular style. We both were pleasantly surprised by the garlic-clove bread (a simple but hidden treasure!), but the grilled salmon pasta really brought it on home.I was especially thrilled that it came to the table within about 15 minutes of ordering. The salmon was perfect- flaky and buttery.
