“I am such a rabid fan of this place that everyone who ever visits me asks to be taken to the magical sounding coffee shop I’m always going on about. It isn’t just a coffee shop, after all. It’s an absolute cornerstone of the community, a well worn quilt and a blank canvas alike for old and new friendships to form and flourish, a place that indeed fuels the dreams and days and relationships of all who enter it. I met Jordan, the owner, when Calamity’s was just a coffee cart in an antique shop. I was immediately enchanted with her and blown away by the coffee she served. As the shop has evolved into what it is now, my love for it has only grown. Jordan cares about the staff as much as she cares about her customers and it pays dividends in the incredible bonds they form with the public. Everyone is always clamoring to talk to them because they’re fun and cool and make you feel welcome. I never leave without feeling- and I am not exaggerating- celebrated. It’s in the air there, and it is rare I leave without engaging with or seeing others engage with strangers as if they are familiar neighbors. I am excited to go there, every time, without fail. I started by falling in love with the Sydney, a lavender oat milk latte named for one of the earliest supporters of Calamity’s. The lavender is even better now, as it’s made in house. On a hot summer’s day I can’t resist a Queen Butters- a tasty, colorful blended energy drink that makes me feel straight up whimsical. Their Pumpkin Pie Latte has no competition that I have found for real pumpkin flavor and warmth. And the Dalton will never do you wrong if you’re needing something a little less sweet and a good deal more caffeinated. But truly? You can’t go wrong here. I have loved every bit of food sold in the shop, always sourced thoughtfully and almost exclusively locally made. I have also bought a blue million stickers and pairs of funky earrings and even clothing items and mugs and odds and ends. This shop is the essence of everything I love about Oak Ridge and you are robbing yourself if you don’t check it out when you’re in town!”
“Absolutely, hands down, the most amazing food you can get in oak ridge. Their burgers are perfect every single time, their wings are absolutely fantastic and HUGE, their fries are amazing, the sauces are hand made by the amazing Chef Ken and all the employees are incredibly kind and amazing. We usually have Hector as our waiter and he is always fantastic. 100% recommend!”
“We went there tonight for the first time in a while. The place is nicely updated with the addition of a new bar and outdoor seating. The food menu was nicely updated too, the menu stood out compared to other local Mexican restaurants. The food was great and everyone at our table raved about it.”
“I had the Gyro and grape leaves and My Husband had the Gyro plate. I asked him if he had cucumber sauce, which was not on the menu and he made it from scratch for me. Wonderful customer service I would try again.”

“Outside I was skeptical but all the recent reviews figured give it a try. It was fantastic! Bento boxes & sushi our rolls we ordered. Don’t let looks fool you bc it’s very clean & not bad inside. Food & service great!! I don’t have to go to Knoxville to Ichiban anymore”
“My wife and I are truly Zandunga fanatics, having been there many times. We ordered dishes to go and let me say one thing, still amazing just how delectably delicious their food is. Authentically perfect food that is not only fantastic but also huge portions that give us leftovers! Best Mexican restaurant, hands down, in the entire area. If I could give a ten star rating on a five star rating, I would. Thank you Zandunga, you are great each and every time we have been there!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️”
“We enjoy eating here. Always quality food and friendly service. The Famous Fish is great!”

“The evening/ night crew on the weekends are the BEST! I went tonight ( Friday) around 5:30pm. Fast service and fast delivery of my order. Very clean and very hood food. My waitress was very friendly. and the cook was very clean and very fast with what he did. I left all three employees that were working a hood tip. It’s Christmas time and that’s what everyone should be doing this time of year. Giving . I HIGHLY RECOMMEND the OAK RIDGE Waffle House! Especially the evening and night crew!❤️”
“The food is fresh and so good. I have eaten there and it was wonderful, then I had food delivered, and it was just as good. great place, great food”
Takeout Restaurants
“Love the expanded offerings and I routinely buy their sourdough bread which comes in either classic, rosemary or rosemary with onion.
I had a breakfast sandwich one morning with coffee from Calamity's. We're thrilled to have this business collaboration on the West end of Oak Ridge.”
“I love my Dutch Bros. location here in Oak Ridge TN. I love all our broistas, they're all so nice and very helpful if you need help choosing your drink. Dutch Bros is my favorite. Today was the doggie bandana give away. I tried the pumpkin caramel brule. I had it iced and it was delicious. I totally recommend Dutch Bros. they have more than just coffee.”
“This Aubrey's is my goto when I want a quick, delicious meal. I'm a huge fan of the pizza Rockefeller however I switched it up this time and went for the Raging Cajun chicken sandwich with chips. Holy cow, I was not prepared for that much food. For $16, I will say you get your money's worth. The chips were the recommendation of my server, Nicole and they did not disappoint. Poured a smidge of my ranch over the chicken breast and it was amazing. This may be my new goto combo. Absolutely worth the cost.
Raging Cajin $16.00
Water no charge

“Our first time & we were happy with it! The only thing I’ll say is… We about didn’t even go. Everywhere you look there’s mixed information about them being in business versus closed permanently. My Apple Maps & Yelp both said permanently closed. A quick google said open with hours being updated 2 months ago. Almost everything else pointed to them being out of business… The FB page doesn’t have any recent activity. There’s no reviews from this year. It’s easy to assume that maybe they closed their doors for good sometime between last summer to fall. Just saying, because I’m sure we can’t be the only ones that have (almost) skipped out on this place due to the above. Glad we didn’t! The outdoor setting in Jackson Square is cute & the kid loved the pigsss… getting ice cream is always a fun little activity. I’m sure we’ll return. Onlookers… THEY ARE OPEN! ♥️”
“The best childhood memories on Saturday Nights. When Dad's Brother and Aunt drove from South Knoxville to hang with us. I be waiting to jump in back that drive from Black Oak area of Clinton was worth waiting for and being only kid at that time it was awesome. Plus Dad knows Ed from the Post Office as a window clerk. Now having a child they had the experience to parties and iconic pizza Ed brought to The Secret City and greater communities.”

“I hate mornings and this is one restaurant I will get up early for. While I don't get to go often, it's always consistent with wonderful staff and wonderful food. Try it out anytime you're in town.”

“This location is honestly better than Starbucks store. The staff is always so friendly and so kind, they memorize most of their customers orders, they go above Nd beyond to go the extra step just to make me happy.I was super against Starbucks for so many years. But visiting this location has had me become a regular.”
“My family went for lunch, and we were blown away with how tasty everything was! Our server was very helpful, and the food was delicious. Not your standard Mexican restaurant. It has some familiar dishes but also things like menudo. I highly recommend. We will definitely go back!”
“Great staff, we always feel extremely comfortable and welcome. Thanks so much for hosting The Oak Ridge Jazz Jam.”
“We always love doing take out. So yummy. Always hot and good. Very courteous staff.”

“worst experience I've had in my entire life especially in a "professional environment". was degraded, talked down to, yelled out, and just flat out treated like crap!! I will tell everyone I know, make posts everywhere, and never recommend this place in my life. I will talk against you all and do everything in my power to have this terrible place removed from this city and cannot wait until the next city council meeting so i can inform everyone of this disrespectful and disgusting mannered place and the employees! I cannot believe Marcos pizza allows their employees to talk to and disrespect people as they have shown today! completely disgusting and just a disgrace to this city and all it stands for!”
“First time eating there. I live 35 miles away. I just wanted to express my appreciation on the quality of the food, but the biggest Thanks to the kindest, courteous, hard working lady, I have ever met!! On receipt, it says her name is Dennisha F…She is the nicest person, I have ever met!! Long John’s is fortunate to have her as an employee!!!! :). I hope the business recognizes her!!!”
“The food in this particular establishment was better tasting than in most Lil Caesars. There was an attention to detail, the food was hot, and all of the order I placed was available for immediate transfer. No having to wait and come back. As soon as the cashier took the money, she set out to bag up my order. My total in store time was less than 7 minutes. The store was clean and well stocked and the customer service was great. Will definitely visit again.”

“Great food.besting tasting ever..but for a wine bar it's way to over priced. At 44 for a bottle . I have been to alot of wine bar never paid this wine bars are big on getting you to drink more so they have half price for second bottle.but this place is nice..will go back but not buying wine.”

“The server and the cook, Jaylin and Xavier respectively, excelled during my dine-in experience here. I felt welcomed when I walked in and fully satisfied when I departed. My double BLT was perfectly assembled, and my bacon was crispy crispy. My onion rings were crunchy on the outside, yet soft on the inside. Definitely a top-tier late night eatery.”
