“Met a friend yesterday at Nomadic and ordered bean and cheese nachos with avocado from Tacoly Moly. Oh my gosh - they were SOOO good! The beans had the best seasoning, the cheese was perfection, and the avocadoes were at the peak of freshness! The serving size was very generous too! The owner is incredibly sweet, too! I am thrilled to have discovered this food truck and definitely plan to return!“

“I tried this food truck about 3 months ago and meant to post this review a loooooong time ago. The fact that I still think about this place says volumes.
I tried the Philly cheese steak and it was 10/10 in flavor. Huge portion and even got to try a taco. Will definitely go back when I'm back in town.
Best part is supporting a family who clearly enjoys what they do. So kind, friendly, and passionate - it shows in their food.“

“I was sent for work here in Austin from the Waco area and found this gem. Since I'm on a restrictive diet, I googled and found Hippy Eats! I have never had a falafel before but was not disappointed. Jason was nice and easy to talk to and went above and beyond in every aspect of the experience. He even enhanced my falafel with extras (we'll call it a secret menu item for now). The smell of the food from the ride back to work was delicious and the taste was great as well. Thank you Jason for the Austin falafel experience!“

“Smoking is allowed on your patio. So if you don’t like smelling cigarettes while you eat…maybe go for lunch instead of dinner. It’s a bar patio with a food truck (and D. m outdoor pop-up bar next to the food truck) .
The hot dog (I added cheese) was $7 and the beef sliders were 6 for $14. Great prices for some quick & dirty comfort food.“

“I came for the "grandma" pizza, and it's terrific. But I'm coming back for the NYC slices, which are crispy perfection. Is it as good as NYC? No - it's better. Check out my full review at "Pizza Quixote" (google it). Five stars!“

“We both loved our food. The person at the counter was very helpful in selecting the right dish and the food came quickly. It's authentic Mumbai food. So of you like that, you'll love the food here. We also ordered rasmalai, and you'll probably not find better rasmalai in this area. Oh and dis I mention how affordable everything is!“

“I got the fried chicken pieces and the ramen and it was SO good. Super flavorful and fresh.
The chicken was super crispy and came with a good mayo. The ramen had a really balanced flavor with just a touch of spice.

“Just set up and cooking at this location. You may remember it from the backside of Sam's Town Point. Hankering for a fried chicken sandwich this popped up nearby on my search. Pleasantly surprised with a great sandwich, tots, and threw in a taco and I'm completely stuffed. I'd say it's text Mex - heavy on the Tex. Which is exactly what I was looking for! Definitely coming back to try the quesadilla and burger!“

“Just ordered a whole chicken meal and the chicken came fresh, marinated in a lime marinade, tender, juicy and quite generous along with delicious charro beans, a whole grilled onion, fresh corn tortillas, rice and two salsas (green avocado and red). All of it wonderful! Would definitely order again. Also, wanted to comment on the 1-star review below as I was confused by it since this restaurant has no chicken fajitas on its menu. Based on my order, I’d highly recommend this place! Yum!“

“Just tried Song La for the first time today. Shirley was so incredibly friendly and the food was fantastic. I spent 3 months in Taiwan before moving to Austin and was craving some Taiwanese fried chicken and this hit the spot. Plus, everything is made to order and comes out super fresh (that said, don't come in a rush, make sure you've got a little time to enjoy their new spot at The Thicket and hang for a bit). Whether you've had Taiwanese food before and are craving it or just want to try some incredible fried chicken in a cool South Austin spot, definitely give them a try. ❤“

“Saw an Instagram Reel of the Fries bowl. I got the #5. Fries were seasoned and cooked to perfection, cole slaw and pickles gave the perfect crunch and acidity, the chicken tenders were seasoned to a customized heat and were excellent, the bussin sauce suites its name. This is going to be a go-to spot!“
