“This is my second time at MeeT on Main and I am writing it yet another review as it truly deserves! This place is a MUST go. Last year I found myself unsure of where to take my girlfriend for our first real dinner date due to her dietary restrictions and tentatively made our way for this Vegan restaurant that both I and her had raised a brow about (For more on that review seek out Raven Bramblepaw on Google reviews to see!) But we are more than pleased to say we have returned and couldn't be happier to have done so, this time bringing with us my girlfriends parents. The food was just as good as we remembered, possibly even better as it is not an over exaggeration that if you did not know what was infront of you was vegan, you likely wouldn't guess. This restaurant will continue to be a staple for my relationship with my girlfriend Fox, and we will continue to come back every year if we should be so lucky. Thank you Astrid and Co. for the warm return welcome, and we look forward to coming back for another tasty bite!“

It’s rare to find a restaurant where the presentation matches the quality of the food, but Botanist delivers on both.

The service was attentive, professional, and genuinely welcoming throughout our visit. You can tell that a great deal of care goes into every aspect of the dining experience.

The Burrow has quickly become one of my favourite spots in downtown Vancouver. What really stands out is the variety—their menu is packed with creative options that make it incredibly easy for anyone with dietary preferences or restrictions to order with confidence. Whether you’re vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, or just looking for a fresh twist on comfort food, they’ve got you covered without ever compromising on flavour.

He was incredibly attentive throughout the entire evening and possessed a deep knowledge of the menu, explaining the dishes with great detail. “We came for a good bye dinner with our team. Our company closed and Glowbal was selected by numerous recommendations from our other colleagues. It was an amazing atmosphere and definitely super-tasty food. When the time for dessert came, our beautiful waitresses came with our ordered sweet cake with “Happy Unemployment “ writing on the plate. It was a bittersweet moment for all of us but our mood instantly switched to laughter and we almost forgot the cause of our gathering“

“The hostesses at the front are vibrant and charming. They offer a complimentary glass of champagne to sip while you’re waiting. If you don’t imbibe, they will accommodate your soft drink request. We were seated at a table on the patio which is very close to the street. So if you choose to sit on the patio, There will be city sounds which, apart from the occasional siren, quickly dissolves into the artful landscaping. Raven, our server, was friendly and cheerful, in addition to being appropriately attentive. We started with the mini steak French dips. Expertly seasoned and grilled, new york steak strips over a button of gruyere cheese atop a tiny slice of sourdough garlic bread with a side of au jus. These were quite more-ish. I recommend them. My husband enjoyed the Mediterranean salad and I liked my seared ahi tuna salad very much. The tuna is sliced thicker than carpaccio but thinner than sushi and gently seared. The plating was elegant and the salad finely chopped with bits of mango and shaved avocado on the top.. I tasted a bit of mint leaf and the light dressing was truly perfect. The staff pay attention to the guests and, when your server is busy, they make themselves available for your needs. It appears the staff members enjoy each other’s company as well as their jobs. I observed real teamwork throughout. We had the apple pie for dessert. On its own it is delicious with a caramel apple filling and it’s flaky , buttery and crunchy crus. It can easily be shared by three people and would have been enough. But do’gild the lily’ by adding the Canadian maple ice cream. We felt comfortable and satisfied. We were pleased with every bite and the Joey Burrard experience from start to finish. We will definitely go back and try some other offerings. Go and have fun. And talk to the very friendly staff who are so willing to engage.“

“I wish I didn’t know this place exists. How am I ever going to cope with any other sushi place?!
The dishes being served here are DEVINE! The silken tofu feels like whipped cream in your mouth. They really should sell this stuff in a spray can so you can just squeeze it into your mouth.

My daughter and I order a few things we thought would be small dishes. But we were wrong. The rolls are not only beautiful and unique, they are also generous. My vegetarian set had so many delightful aspects and I could take enough home to re-live the experience with a second light lunch.

Everything is fragrant and unique. The miso soup was so rich and not like any other. The King Salmon Sashimi is rich but light, unctuous and fresh. And I don’t usual think much of rice but it is so well done and flavourful here, I could have eaten a Ramen size bowl of it and still want more.

They also have a great array of beverages including specials not listed on the everyday menu.

I already have plans for my next visit - I can’t wait for my Huzband to order a set menu that gives a little taste of all the variety on the menu.

If you love raw seafood or Aburi style, and you want unique tastes not available elsewhere, this is a MUST TRY! And there was great vegetarian options too.

But don’t go here if you don’t want to spoil yourself. Like tasting chocolate and knowing you can never go without it again. Bib Gourmand is fully merited. Including the wonderful front of house team.“

“I’ve been coming to this Freshslice location for a while now, and every time I walk in, I wish I get served from Mehak. She is seriously one of the friendliest and most helpful staff members I’ve ever met at any pizza place!
Last night I was trying to decide between a few slices and she patiently explained all the current deals, suggested the best combos, and even made sure my Butter Chicken slice came out extra fresh and hot. Her positive energy and big smile made the whole experience so much better – especially after a long day.
The pizza is always solid but Mehak is the real MVP here. Fast, polite, great communication, and genuinely seems to enjoy making customers happy.
If you’re in the area, come during her shift – you’ll leave with great pizza and good vibes! Highly recommend this location because of awesome team members like Mehak. Keep it up! 🍕🙌 highly recommended to vist this store“

The entire experience was exceptional, and the food was perfect from start to finish.We had the red wine braised short rib of beef from Double R Ranch — it melted in my mouth and the flavor was out of this world. We started with the scallops and smoked bison tartare, both of which were outstanding.For other mains, we enjoyed the wood grilled lamb, the Hank tenderloin steak, the Wagyu beef picanha from Brant Lake Farm in Alberta, Blue Dot Beef in Prince Edward Island striploin (10 oz). They were all amazing. The Blue Dot had incredible flavor — juicy, tender, and hands down the best steak I’ve ever had. Every steak was beautifully cooked and packed with flavor.We finished the evening with trying ALL THE DESSERTS! The baked Alaska was beautiful and delicious! The ice cream trio was so creamy and rich. The creme brûlée was smooth and dreamy. The chocolate cake was moist and perfectly matched with the passionfruit sauce. The fam favorite was definitely the cheesecake… we were all wanting it! Perfect flavor not too sweet and very smooth. Blackberries were a perfect match.
