“The food and drink was absolutely delicious when I went with my friend and partner. We ordered mango sticky rice, cauliflower wings and lychee/peach iced tea. On a hot summer day, it hit the spot so good. We also ordered some noodle dishes whuch were delicuous to devour on the go, though they were soupier than we thought. Our waitress was very kind, welcoming and accomodating, though also loud and people pleasing, which can come across as a bit much for some. Our group was fine with it though. We went in for a quick bite and got exactly what we needed. The atmosphere was beautiful and homey, separating us in a calmer bubble from the busy Vancouver streets.“

“This is my second time at MeeT on Main and I am writing it yet another review as it truly deserves! This place is a MUST go. Last year I found myself unsure of where to take my girlfriend for our first real dinner date due to her dietary restrictions and tentatively made our way for this Vegan restaurant that both I and her had raised a brow about (For more on that review seek out Raven Bramblepaw on Google reviews to see!) But we are more than pleased to say we have returned and couldn't be happier to have done so, this time bringing with us my girlfriends parents. The food was just as good as we remembered, possibly even better as it is not an over exaggeration that if you did not know what was infront of you was vegan, you likely wouldn't guess. This restaurant will continue to be a staple for my relationship with my girlfriend Fox, and we will continue to come back every year if we should be so lucky. He was so fun when he came to the table, and knew about everything that was put on our table. Really made the experience special for all of us. The food was amazing. We were seated at a table on the patio which is very close to the street. Raven, our server, was friendly and cheerful, in addition to being appropriately attentive. We started with the mini steak French dips. Expertly seasoned and grilled, new york steak strips over a button of gruyere cheese atop a tiny slice of sourdough garlic bread with a side of au jus. These were quite more-ish. I recommend them. My husband enjoyed the Mediterranean salad and I liked my seared ahi tuna salad very much. The tuna is sliced thicker than carpaccio but thinner than sushi and gently seared. The plating was elegant and the salad finely chopped with bits of mango and shaved avocado on the top.. I tasted a bit of mint leaf and the light dressing was truly perfect. The staff pay attention to the guests and, when your server is busy, they make themselves available for your needs. It appears the staff members enjoy each other’s company as well as their jobs. I observed real teamwork throughout. We had the apple pie for dessert. On its own it is delicious with a caramel apple filling and it’s flaky , buttery and crunchy crus. It can easily be shared by three people and would have been enough. But do’gild the lily’ by adding the Canadian maple ice cream. We felt comfortable and satisfied. We were pleased with every bite and the Joey Burrard experience from start to finish. We will definitely go back and try some other offerings. Go and have fun. And talk to the very friendly staff who are so willing to engage.“

“I wish I didn’t know this place exists. How am I ever going to cope with any other sushi place?!
The dishes being served here are DEVINE! The silken tofu feels like whipped cream in your mouth. They really should sell this stuff in a spray can so you can just squeeze it into your mouth.

My daughter and I order a few things we thought would be small dishes. But we were wrong. The rolls are not only beautiful and unique, they are also generous. My vegetarian set had so many delightful aspects and I could take enough home to re-live the experience with a second light lunch.

Everything is fragrant and unique. The miso soup was so rich and not like any other. The King Salmon Sashimi is rich but light, unctuous and fresh. And I don’t usual think much of rice but it is so well done and flavourful here, I could have eaten a Ramen size bowl of it and still want more.

They also have a great array of beverages including specials not listed on the everyday menu.

I already have plans for my next visit - I can’t wait for my Huzband to order a set menu that gives a little taste of all the variety on the menu.

If you love raw seafood or Aburi style, and you want unique tastes not available elsewhere, this is a MUST TRY! And there was great vegetarian options too.

But don’t go here if you don’t want to spoil yourself. Like tasting chocolate and knowing you can never go without it again. Bib Gourmand is fully merited. Including the wonderful front of house team.“

“I’ve been coming to this Freshslice location for a while now, and every time I walk in, I wish I get served from Mehak. She is seriously one of the friendliest and most helpful staff members I’ve ever met at any pizza place!
Last night I was trying to decide between a few slices and she patiently explained all the current deals, suggested the best combos, and even made sure my Butter Chicken slice came out extra fresh and hot. Her positive energy and big smile made the whole experience so much better – especially after a long day.
The pizza is always solid but Mehak is the real MVP here. Fast, polite, great communication, and genuinely seems to enjoy making customers happy.

We started with the scallops and smoked bison tartare, both of which were outstanding.For other mains, we enjoyed the wood grilled lamb, the Hank tenderloin steak, the Wagyu beef picanha from Brant Lake Farm in Alberta, Blue Dot Beef in Prince Edward Island striploin (10 oz). They were all amazing. The Blue Dot had incredible flavor — juicy, tender, and hands down the best steak I’ve ever had. Every steak was beautifully cooked and packed with flavor.We finished the evening with trying ALL THE DESSERTS! The baked Alaska was beautiful and delicious! The ice cream trio was so creamy and rich. The creme brûlée was smooth and dreamy. The chocolate cake was moist and perfectly matched with the passionfruit sauce. The service was prompt and friendly, adding to the experience. The ramen broth was rich and the noodles were a good firmness, they also had sauces on the side so that you could customize your bowl.
