“It was a holiday in the US, but my friend was off work, so we went there for lunch. It's a little far from work, but it's a dim sum restaurant. Shumai is very delicious. Personally, I quite like steamed chicken feet. It's a little big. Stir-fried greens have very thick stems. I ate a lot though. I'm full. Thank you for the meal.“

An authentic canto dimsun experience. Just missing some cussing and yelling at the cook in the back. Lunch combo fantastic.“

“The food here is great! Our favorite dishes are the pan-fried soup dumplings and clam noodles.
Menu and ordering is made easy by using a QR code.
There is plenty of space inside the restaurant with some nice music playing.
Try it out!“

“They offer a great variety of pastries, focusing on northern Chinese-style baked goods. Their prices are reasonable, especially for my favorite dumplings. They often have additional promotions.
Parking: It's at a huge plaza. There are plenty parking spaces.“

“Kicked off the New Year with a fantastic dinner at H L Peninsula, and it did not disappoint! This spot offers classic Cantonese-style seafood dining in a traditional Chinese banquet hall setting. The food was affordable, the portions were generous, and everything we tried was packed with flavor.
We ordered the vegetarian and egg fried rice along with the spare ribs—both were absolutely amazing. The spare ribs were tender and full of savory goodness, and the fried rice was the perfect comforting complement. Bonus: the leftovers kept us happy for days.
We’re already planning to return to explore their seafood dishes, which looked incredible on other tables. If you’re looking for delicious, authentic Cantonese dining with portions that deliver, H L Peninsula is a solid choice.“

“Dough Zone was great for a late dinner. The service was extremely fast (we waited less than a minute for a cold dish and got out of the restaurant within 30m) and the food was good. And best of all, the prices are extremely affordable. Many filling items are under $10 and parking is free. Would recommend!“

“Online ordering here was a breeze. Unlike other places where I feel pressured to order more or lack the convenience of online options, this spot made getting dim sum straightforward.
Food: The dim sum was warm and steamy, and the quality was solid. My only gripe was the limited menu—no shrimp rice rolls or fried shrimp crescents, which are some of my favorites. If you’re happy with staples like Shiu Mai or Har Gow, you’ll enjoy it.
Service: No issues. I picked up my order by name, and that was it.
Atmosphere: The setting is simple and casual, with a cafeteria-like vibe. It’s good for a laid-back meal but not for anything formal.
Overall: It’s a decent spot with a smaller menu. Two orders of dim sum were enough to satisfy me, and I’d come back if I was in the mood for a quick and easy dim sum fix.
Parking: There was so much parking here on a weekend morning.“

“We loved this place. 4 of us went on a Saturday night around 6 and got a table without a wait. Food was delicious- especially soup dumplings, pork belly with noodles and sesame balls. Service was quick, ordering was from a QR code with a menu full of tempting pictures. We will definitely be a return customer.“

“The food is amazing. We go there every week, but it’s not all about the food. Sandy and her staff make us feel like family. We truly appreciate them! ❤️❤️❤️“

“We've been coming here many times over the years. The food is excellent quality with large portions and a large variety of dishes to choose from. You can see them making the many types of dumplings behind the glass in the kitchen. On the menu using the QR code you can customize the dishes, less spicy, less oil, less salt and many more options. The staff is very friendly and the food comes out quickly. It also has a very pretty atmosphere. Try it, you will not be disappointed!“

“This place used to be called Asian Pearl and is changed to Pearl Bay.
Inside is big and bright, suitable for any Chinese events such as weddings.
Food is decent. The Turnip (Daikon) Cake (Lo Bak Go), Water Chestnut cake and the Taro cakes are all excellent. Not all the dim sum restaurants have the water chestnut cake and taro ones, this is one of the places that serve them and make them very well.
Their black sesame rolls are good too. It is hard to find at other Chinese restaurants too.
Their lettuce with garlic is great.
Their steamed dim sum (such as Har Gow or anything with the white skins outside) isn't as good. The outside skins are thick and they are supposed to be thin.
The Fung Jao (chicken feet) are also so-so, not tender enough. I have had better elsewhere.
The fried chicken wings are disappointing.
The bathroom is not that clean. Wish they keep it in much better shape considering the restaurant's dining area is so nice and elegant.“

“My family's favorite place for dim sum lunch. Lunch combos are cheap for the amount of food you get. Love the noodles & the fish porridge and every dim sum we've tried tasted good.
Personal preference, but these are the types of food services I prefer. Get in & get out, no frills, no thrills, just hand me a bag of good food and be on my way.“

“Spacious restaurant with yummy authentic dim sum with extra oomph. The fish cheung fun with cilantro was superb, as were the seafood dumplings and soup dumplings. The char shiu puff pastry buttery and super light. The fried fish was delightful and the fried pumpkin with salted egg yolk original. The kai lan with oyster sauce cooked just right. Service was gracious and quick. Highly reccomend!“

“Very authentic Shanghainese style food. Spicy soup noodles can sure test your ability to stand hot food. Steamed and fried dumplings, and Xiao Long Bao are must-eat items. Appetizers like jellyfish and stewed spare rib chunks are highly recommended. Mr Song is the owner. He is ever friendly and efficient. This place is a rare find on East Bay.“

“One of the Cantonese dim sum restaurant in Cupertino that captured my palate. My must visit restaurant whenever I am back in this part of the world. Not only they serve good dim sum, but also Cantonese dishes. Fried rice and chow mian are equally great too. Always loved to be speaking Cantonese with the staffs! 👍🏻“

“The service sucks, if you're not speaking the same language, good luck getting taken care of in a timely manner. I guess when it's the same day in and day out, you're just fed up with customers 😒
The food is still great, been going here since they opened. The prices in the last few months have jumped drastically, and its $15 for a combo box, I remember when it was $8.
I still remember that you could also sit and eat inside before Covid.
The portions of the dim sum, are huge, and packed full with shrimp, pork or whatever you choose.
Overall, I'm still going back here, as the food is fantastic 😋“

“Oh man oh man! I found another hand-pulled noodles place close to home! Score!! Woohoo! Right next to 99 Ranch market and close to the freeway.
My co-workers have been talking about this place back in the day. I have been going here with my family for years and took many friends as well. This location has changed from many different places and Bings’s seems to have stayed over seven years now! Good sign! I like their open space dining set up where the kitchen is open and you can see them make their dumplings and noodles...ooo lala!!
Their menu is very simple and everything is now below $19. Price inflation but some are reasonable. Go figure! Very good portions though. You can taste the difference. Had their spicy and regular beef braised noodle soup. Meat was tender and the noodles are soft! You can tell the noodles are made fresh. Also, I like their wonton noodle soup. All broth soups are very good. Spicy was not really spicy to me though so I had to added more spice! Haha Their Hot Oil-Seared (dry) Noodles with minced pork is also very good. Their wonton in Chili Oil is good as well. I also get their pork soup dumplings. Everything they make are pretty good! The dumpling wrap is not too thick and lots of meat inside. You need to learn to eat with chop sticks and soup spoon to drink the soup from the dumplings! Also, you have to make the right sauce to dip this in. They don’t offer free tea anymore. It’s only 50cents but It’s good.
My fave place when I am craving spicy dry noodles or beef braised noodle soup. I just wish they added more bok choy for more veggies for a balance.
Very surprising their service is still pretty good, friendly and attentive. Seems they are a family business. They speak pretty good English, too. We are regulars here! So this means I totally recommend this place!“

“We've been here twice, once for lunch and once for dinner, and have been very impressed with the food on both occasions. They offer dim sum exclusively during lunch, while dinner features a menu of classic Cantonese dishes.
The quality really shines through – you can tell they use fresh ingredients, and everything is well-seasoned and expertly cooked. A standout from our dinner was the steamed live red grouper; it was cooked to perfection and incredibly tender. During our lunch visit, the beef organ stew was a highlight – the organs were clearly fresh and stewed to a wonderful softness.
The staff members are friendly and welcoming. However, it's worth noting that they seem quite understaffed during peak lunch times, so while the service is friendly, it might not be the speediest. Just set your expectations accordingly.
The decor definitely has a nostalgic 2000s Hong Kong feel. A modern refresh would certainly elevate the dining experience.
Overall, the excellent food is the main draw here, and it's more than enough reason for us to return many times.“
