I visited with a friend and it was truly one of the most flavorful and memorable biryanis I’ve ever tasted.
Kudos to the owners and the chefs for their dedication and passion, they’ve perfectly captured the soul of Godavari in every bite.”

“Fresh, delicious, quick! I ordered the Creamy Tuscan Shrimp entree with a side of garlic bread. The entree portion was substantial ($12.99) plus small serving of garlic bread (5 small pieces for $2.49) I enjoyed every bite. My only disappointment was the shrimp had the tails on and I don't like to pick them out of the saucy goodness in order to remove the tail shell. Minor inconvenience and messy fingers. I've been on the lookout for an Italian fast-food restaurant and happy to have found this one is our relative backyard. Yum-mo!”

“Wife and I went for lunch today, we had the seaweed salad, ebi nigiri, spciy California roll, ocean roll and dragon roll. The food was very fresh and each item tasted great. Most sushi places I go to all rolls taste the same. This was not the case at Tokyo express. We will be back.”

“One of the best Mediterranean restaurants in the US for takeout Greek/Turkish food. They have plenty of space for a nice dining, but I normally order over the phone for pickup and go. Many people in that area ordered for pickup. I’m a Turkish & Greek food lover. Rocklin had a handful of gems when it came to food/restaurants. This was one of them. The lamb plate kebab over yellow rice entree was my favorite. That yellow rice was super delicious and always on point. The owner was so generous, usually giving me complimentary items from the menu. The baklava and lentils soup was the best I ever had. Just really good authentic Mediterranean food. I kept coming back for more. I miss this place. The food was so good and satisfying and workers were always customer friendly. It was good quality Greek food. The service was quick and the food was always hot. I loved the homemade tzatziki & hot sauce. This place will not disappoint.

“Have driven by a million times and friends had us meet them there. Wow, we've been missing out! We had a Chimichanga, carnitas, Mole enchiladas, and a shrimp dish that was to die for. They were kind enough top let us try a taste of the ceviche -they have one shrimp and one made with fish. Both were bright and flavorful. Prices were reasonable and they had inside or patio dining. Service was great. I can't wait to come back...We're hooked!!”

“Today was the first visit I had and Edwin’s. I had to meet someone nearby and decided to go in to support. I wish I lived closer because Edwin’s is so wonderful!! The atmosphere is so warm and welcoming. The scones were gigantic and the pastries looked like anime food. I saw a menu board featuring bagel sandwiches that looked tempting. I decided to get one of each flavor of danish (raspberry, blueberry & blackberry). The crisp, tender layers in each bite are magical! The perfect balance of sweet and tart was on point. The juices from the berries carmalized the edges nicely. It was so nostalgic to have something so delightful that it reminded me of my great granny. I had a simple black Colombian coffee and it was a great pairing for the pastries. It was mild yet rich flavor. I’m looking forward to more visits.”

“A Rocklin staple, have been going here for more than 15 years. Everything on the menu is delicious, chicken and steak philly’s are my favorite. Bread is made in house. Gyros are also amazing. A true ma and pa shop, the owners are so welcoming and hard working, I’ve seen their kids work and grow up here. They will remember you and your go-to order after just a few visits. So many restaurants in this area have came and went but they have withstood the test of time. An absolute local treasure!”

I’m visiting family locally and I found,
Don Q’s Cantina is a total gem the food is A1, and the customer service is outstanding both over the phone and in person. I had the fish tacos and the house pork soup, and they were some of the most authentic Mexican dishes I’ve ever had. The pork soup tasted so fresh, like Abuela made it tonight!

The chips and salsa trio red sauce, green salsa, and beans were all perfectly seasoned and full of flavor. We even created a twist on their Cowboy Margarita, adding mango and blueberry with a sugar rim, and it was incredible so fresh, smooth, and delicious.

The manager and owner are genuinely kind and welcoming, making you feel like part of the family. The food, the people, and the whole atmosphere are truly a breath of fresh air.

If you’re looking for authentic Mexican food, great energy, and amazing hospitality, Don Q’s Cantina is the place to be! 🌮🍹✨

I generally like boba teas, but to go to an Independence run place adds a whole other level of personality to the teas! I'd be looking forward to coming back again”

“Solid food with a wide variety of menu items, casual vibe, and excellent service. Our waitress was so invested in our comfort the entire time. She was always refilling waters, getting us more napkins or small plates or ginger, and asking if we needed anything. We were a huge group and she was MOVING to accommodate all of us- it was really nice to feel so valued! Would definitely come back just for the service, but the food was also good!”

“My friend and I enjoyed our delicious meal outside, weather was perfect. They were busy , thought there would be a wait. There was not, food was delivered, with a smile in a timely manner. Order was taken with a smile also, employees were very friendly. We had a absolutely delicious wrap, with teriyaki pork and too many other goodies to list. Avocado toast which is the tastiest we have ever had. Strawberry lemonade was incredible. Not overly sweet, or syrupy, great flavor. Nice size. Next time I will try a dessert. I highly recommend this establishment.”
