“Fresh, delicious, quick! I ordered the Creamy Tuscan Shrimp entree with a side of garlic bread. The entree portion was substantial ($12.99) plus small serving of garlic bread (5 small pieces for $2.49) I enjoyed every bite. My only disappointment was the shrimp had the tails on and I don't like to pick them out of the saucy goodness in order to remove the tail shell. Minor inconvenience and messy fingers. I've been on the lookout for an Italian fast-food restaurant and happy to have found this one is our relative backyard. Yum-mo!”

“Today was the first visit I had and Edwin’s. I had to meet someone nearby and decided to go in to support. I wish I lived closer because Edwin’s is so wonderful!! The atmosphere is so warm and welcoming. The scones were gigantic and the pastries looked like anime food. I saw a menu board featuring bagel sandwiches that looked tempting. I decided to get one of each flavor of danish (raspberry, blueberry & blackberry). The crisp, tender layers in each bite are magical! The perfect balance of sweet and tart was on point. The juices from the berries carmalized the edges nicely. It was so nostalgic to have something so delightful that it reminded me of my great granny. I had a simple black Colombian coffee and it was a great pairing for the pastries. It was mild yet rich flavor. I’m looking forward to more visits.”

“Free chips and salsa bar is a rare find nowadays. High quality food all around. Especially like their Chile Relleno dish. Has a nice creamy sauce although seeds are left in so don't eat the top. Ranch sauce on tacos and burritos is also a favorite. Horchata and Jamaica comes with the fountain drinks.”

We’ve enjoyed date nights, family birthdays, catered off-site events and plain old in-dining experiences. All were treated with the same level of care, as if we were top clients, regardless of who we were every time. Bennett’s staff pair perfectly with their food and preparation. Then shared a pork vermicelli bowl and BBQ pork banh mi. Large portions and high quality ingredients, lots of veggies in the vermicelli bowl and the grilled pork was delicious. Will be back!”

“WE ARE SO BACK. The previous owners lost the special touch and quality that this place help for so long BUT NOW with new ownership everything is back to normal. Next cheesy bread in Sacramento area and all the pizzas are great. Live music on the weekends and ice cold beer. What more could you ask for. Great service, kind people. If I wasn’t so worried an out gaining a million pounds I’d eat here daily.”

“This is a place worth visiting especially if you enjoy karaoke. I went on a Sunday and I was really impressed with the KJ Marty. He was friendly and personable. He made sure everyone felt welcome and had the opportunity to sing in a timely manner. The food was also great! After such a good time Sunday we decided to go back Monday night. They have an amazing special of mushrooms in some kind of butter herb sauce. Pair it with the garlic bread and it was to die for. KJ Marty was there again with karaoke and we had just as much fun as the night before. I'm definitely making this place my go to spot for Sundays and Mondays!”

And what a HUGE bonus that ALL of the staff are absolutely amazing! And I have to give a big shout-out to your cooks, too! They consistently do an outstanding job, and they are always so good about preparing everything exactly as ordered. That attention to detail makes such a difference!

I eat at many different restaurants, and I have to say, I rarely see managers, let alone owners, work as hard as these owner's do. I notice it every single time I’m there, and I’m sure your other guests notice it too.

Doryene and Rick, you are such genuine, caring people, and it really shows in everything you do. You make your customers feel appreciated and welcome, and even your employees rave about you, which says A LOT about the kind of owners you are!

I was pleasantly surprised as I didn’t expect this to be nearly as good as it was. Also, they didn’t make me feel like I over indulged at all. The pina colada was incredible, but I plan on trying other flavors too once I get over this one. I don’t know the nutrition on these, but I don’t do ice cream very often anymore and this felt like a much healthier treat, but it still competes in taste with the best dessert. I look forward to bringing my son here. He’s going to love it!”

Order was taken with a smile also, employees were very friendly. We had a absolutely delicious wrap, with teriyaki pork and too many other goodies to list. Avocado toast which is the tastiest we have ever had. Strawberry lemonade was incredible. Not overly sweet, or syrupy, great flavor. Nice size. Next time I will try a dessert. “My wife and I used to work nearby several years ago and ate here at least twice a week. We were driving past recently and decided to stop in with our son and grandma, both of whom had never been there. We ordered my wife's favorite and a chicken dish for my mother-in-law and 69A for me and 69B for our son. The food was fantastic as always, but the Flaming Beef And Shrimp was spectacular with the presentation and my son thoroughly enjoyed making his own spring rolls. Everything was freshly prepared and tasted great. We will definitely be returning soon!”

“I'm from San Diego, and one of the hardest parts about moving to norcal was losing taco shop Mexican food.
I've tried dozens of spots in the Sacramento area over the last three years, they're either gross or it's just texmex (also gross.). And finally, after three years I found El Mariachi. I am SO glad I did.

I always get a simple bean and cheese burrito to start at a taco shop. The things I need to know are: are the beans good? is the tortilla good? And I just can't have any other flavors like meat masking the taste of the beans or tortillas. This place has the best beans and tortillas in the area.

Salsas are also a very important thing for me in whether I enjoy a taco shpp or not. Some of the places around here either have salsas with absolutely no heat to any of their red salsas, they're gross, or they're just okay. I absolutely adored the house salsa at El Mariachi's. Especially on the bean and cheese burrito.

El Mariachi's ticks every single one of my boxes for what an actually good taco shop is.

This place is really close to San Diego taco shop, El Mariachi's beans are perfect. Not grainy, seasoned great and taste fresh. Their cheese is great, and tortillas are incredible. They aren't that pale white, thick and undercooked and dry, clearly store bought flour tortilla. Their tortillas are more yellowish-translucent and thin, and not dry which is perfect. They taste fresh, the texture is perfect and they taste delicious in general.

Instead, Carissa welcomed us with the warmth of someone greeting long-lost family. Her cheerful “Welcome in!” instantly erased any guilt we had about showing up so late.

Then the performance began.

Ashley and Carissa didn’t just make burritos—they conducted an orchestral masterpiece. Every scoop was calculated. Every ingredient was perfectly placed. Every fold of the tortilla was worthy of a standing ovation. Alongside their fearless teammate, Micha, they moved with the precision of Navy SEALs, the elegance of Olympic gymnasts, and the confidence of Michelin-star chefs.

At one point I swear time stopped.

I’ve had burritos before, but never one that made me reconsider the trajectory of my entire life.

This wasn’t customer service. This was hospitality. This was theater. This was art.

If Chipotle ever creates a Burrito Hall of Fame, these three deserve statues out front.

From this day forward, this is the only Chipotle we’ll ever visit. I’d drive past ten other locations just for the privilege of watching these burrito legends work their magic again.

Give them raises. Give them promotions. Give them the keys to the company.

The guy working was super personable and helpful. Overall great ambiance and great price. Obviously it’s a holiday and it’s kinda dead inside but seems like a really cool place. We had to request additional beans, rice, and cheese. I realize they are putting a lot of items in the burrito, but initially very little was added. The seating is not inviting and it seems crowded, even when empty!”
