“My significant other and I ate here for the first time today. He ordered the fish taco. I guess it was delicious because he didn't even offer me a bite like he usually would when we try new restaurants. Lol. I ordered the 3 taco platter. And yes I had him try all 3 tacos. Oh my gosh! Amazing! Tasty! Atmosphere beautiful! Fast service and the staff was friendly, funny, helpful, and patient. We'll definitely be back!“

“I called in a to-go order on a Tuesday around 8 PM. When I arrived, the restaurant was pretty busy. Since I needed to pay for my order, I had to wait behind four customers who were placing their orders before I could get to the counter. It would be much more convenient if there were a separate area for customers picking up / call-in orders so they could quickly pay and grab their food without waiting in the regular line.

I ordered the:

•California Burrito: it was delicious. The fries were crispy, and it had the perfect balance of guacamole and sour cream inside. The green sauce on top added a ton of flavor to it. The burrito was also a generous size. I ended up saving about a third of it for later.

The employees were very friendly and even thanked me for waiting. My order was ready when I arrived, about 10 minutes after calling it in. The restaurant was clean, and there was plenty of complimentary parking available in the lot.

Overall, great food, friendly service, and a clean environment.“

“Have driven by this truck a thousand times but never stopped by until tonight, and we were so happy we did! We’ve been sleeping on this place for way too long. The cabeza, adobada, and birria tacos were all cooked perfectly and the salsas were on point too. Lastly, the carne asada in their California burrito couldn’t have been better. The service was also as friendly as can be, making sure we got everything you need. I think we found our new regular spot. Oh and they might have the best Jamaica.“

The price was absolutely reasonable and affordable.
The staff were very friendly.
The space was clean and the Bathroom was clean as well.
The drinks here are Pepsi products.
They have a small freezer there where they sell Mexican popsicles...yum! I bought 3 and it came out to $9 even.
The food was delicious and the portions were very generous. The burrito was so big.
My only issue was that the meat was very salty (which could be just my taste preference issue). Other than that, every was great!
Definitely check out this place if you are near one of their locations.“

“I stop here every time I’m in this side of my neighborhood. Take the 15 freeway and Exit El Cajon Blvd, go East a few blocks but don’t pass Menlo Ave. Look for Fish and Birria signs waving. They have the whole parking lot just drive in! I usually have two or three Fish tacos (w/o crema) and a pop then they usually know when I’m done because my to-go order is hot and ready!! My grandson is very picky but he looks forward to their Carne Asada Quesa taco’s. I’ve tried a lot off their menu and have never been disappointed, ever. They also GIVE you a “Consommé” which is actually a small portion of their seafood soup not just the fluid, I’ve had whole shrimp in mine many times and small pieces of fish. They’re not stingy with their variety of hot salsas/chili pods and garnishes (limes, cilantro, onions and pickled onions. Lots of ice cold canned and bottled drinks to choose from. This is my only food truck I trust 100% and love their quality of cooking. You’ll agree too once you try them out!“

“I recently visited el Rey Moro when I was looking for some takeout for the beach, found this on Google and decided to give it a shot. I was soooooo happy! The service is great! “We are regular customers of South Beach. We had dinner last night (Jan 21st) around 6 pm. Service and table were fine. I chose the Voodoo shrimp/sausage dish off the special menu. It was sub standard and had little shrimp or sausage. Watery and really not remarkable. First time we ever had a bad meal. Usually anything you pick is magnificent.
