“My boyfriend is convinced this is the best frozen yogurt spot in South Florida, and I’m starting to think he’s right.

My gripe with most dessert places in Miami is how artificial they taste. But not here. From fruity flavors like maracuya to more traditional flavors like cake bater or chocolate, everything tastes great!

They offer a good selection of flavors depending on your mood, which I believe they rotate on a monthly basis, and the staff are the absolute sweetest people you will meet. They’re often helping customers but in a very chill and laid back manner, or in the back refilling flavors as soon as they run out.

Definitely would recommend for any late night cravings!”

“I first learned of this restaurant through instagram, I then looked it up on google and was very impressed with the reviews. Let me tell you, the reviews do not lie! Absolutely everything we tasted, from the sangria, to the appetizers to the meal itself and dessert was absolutely amazing! The service was also top notch! Rosy was very attentive, friendly and gave great recommendations. Tony greeted us at the door and was also very friendly. The restaurant itself is beautiful! This is a must to try if you are in Miramar!”

The lunch specials are super tasty, inexpensive ranging around $9.35 and choice of soup, soda or egg roll. (Got sesame chicken & beef broccoli combo)

10pc Krab Ragoons for $8.50 is a steal.

Triple delight was not apart of the lunch special but it was $17.50 with rice on the side.

Be prepared to speak some Spanish, or just try! Use your translation app—give it some effort. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, even though they probably laughed at me and my order later.

“I took a gamble ordering from a place I never heard of in Miami on Grubhub called Quinoa Connection, and it paid off BIG TIME! 1st of all, I never use Grubhub, but now as an Amazon prime member, I get free delivery. 2nd reason why I don’t order from Grubhub is that I am always so suspect that these restaurants I never heard of are ghosts kitchens making vegan food, who might not care about vegans, and I was wrong to assume that about Quinoa Connection. Not only do they have a location at 134 Hialeah Drive in Hilaleah (which I intend to visit soon), the owner, Donald, called and texted to verify my order, my allergies and to confirm my satisfaction as well, (plus he gave me a little extra treat too). I order the “Pecandillo” which is essentially a Picadillo made with pecans instead of meat, tomatoes, onions, peppers, garlic, olives, raisins, and spices, served on top of quinoa and I added black beans for an extra charge. The portion was very satisfying and the taste and flavors were incredible. As a surprise for a dessert, I was given an house made dessert empanada aka The Nada Empanada tm Key Lime, A Frozen Date, Almond, Orange Zest Pocket, filled with Key Lime Pie filling: lime juice, avocado, raw organic agave, coconut cream, vanilla, sea salt, and it was out of the world delicious! Literally the best variation of an ice cream sandwich I have ever had. 10 of out 10 for me on this one! The price was right, the portions were perfect, the owner was courteous and super kind, and the food was delicious and nutritious!”

The Mesa family always treated use like part of their family!”

“The restaurant was in a nice area in Hialeah gardens or unincorporated Hialeah, not sure what this area qualifies as. Anyway, it was nice. We were immediately greeted by the hostess. She was kind and asked where we preferred to be seated because we had a stroller. The table we had ready for us (we got in line online) didn't work because of the stroller. So she quickly helped us get one that worked for us. We chose to be seated outside. Nice outside area that isn't in direct sun light. The table we were initially sat at was so wobbly that I don't see how anyone could eat there. We had to move to a different one. However, the three outside tables in the size we needed were full of dirty plates. We had to ask the server to please clear a table so we could switch. She called over the busser and he cleared the plates on the one table we were moving to and then they left all the other tables around us dirty. A dirty napkin was even left on top of the sugar and I had to move it to another table. Gross...

Another party came to eat outside and they too had to switch tables. They had to sit at one of the tables with dirty plates. The servers just moved the plates to the side to accommodate them. The dirty plates remained the entire hour that we were there dining. I'm not sure why no one cleared them. It wouldn't have been much more effortful to take it in and clear the table. In other restaurants all employees do this, not just the busser.

“I decided to try this place out since my school is near. I came in from the back entrance where they have outside seating. When I entered the lady behind the counter was quick to take my order. She was polite and had that good Cuban charm calling me mami and mi niña. I ordered a personal pepperoni pizza and a cookies and cream milkshake. The wait for the food was timely. I would’ve preferred more pepperoni on the pizza but overall it was crunchy and soft cheesy and not too oily. The shake was also very very good. The shake was more chocolatey than what you would expect of a cookies and cream milkshake but I still loved it. After I finished she cared enough to ask me how it was. The menu is diverse and I can’t wait to try the other milkshakes. But she truly was incredibly kind. Would def recommend! ❤️

I haven’t been back in a while because I no longer attend the college that’s near by but I decided to eat there again to support their business. I don’t know if they’ve had a change in servers but the service is not the same. They don’t greet you when you walk in, they look at you like I walked into their living room and when I asked for my order for pickup. I sat down because it wasn’t ready. I was on my phone waiting and when I finally notice the lady is holding my order in-front of my face. She didn’t talk to me she just held it there and I thought that was a bit rude and odd. They have definitely shrunk their portion sizes but the cookies and cream shake has gotten better. 🤷‍♀️”

“This location is a great addition to the Hialeah Gardens area. It’s conveniently located, brand new, very clean, and a lovely atmosphere overall. I’ve visited a couple of times now, the last of which was the rockiest because I received the wrong order but Marcus, the manager on shift, went above and beyond to make things right. He didn’t hesitate to issue a full refund and because the POS required I go to the restaurant to present the card used so he could process a refund, he also offered a You Pick 2 on the house! I’d definitely recommend visiting this location. The team was wonderful!”
