The decorations were purchased in Amazon (that’s why they’re small) but I’m glad that the decorations weren’t too flashy & simple. Other than this cake, I recommend their pastries, unique desserts (such as “Alabao”) & the Nutella cheesecake. Their sandwiches have never disappointed & their croqueta quesadilla is my absolute favorite. Oh & with a batido del guayaba of course!!”

“I'm going to start with the positive, we went to Rio Grande Chusrrascaria yesterday Thursday for lunch it was five of us we were sat down and the waitress explained to us how it works they have a little lamp on the tables if they remain on they keep coming to the table with the different entrees if you tur it off they stop simple enough. The waitress took our drink we ordered a beer a coke and the rest of us wanted water, without asking us what our preference was she brought a bottle of water which later they charger ($8.00) for that been said the variety of the meats is excellent for lunch they also have chicken, shrimp and even octopus; they kept coming around and serving more the salad bar is good. Here is the negative our waitress after initially serving the drinks was absent the grand majority of the time she would walk by without even a glance we had to call her to remove some plates from the table and to bring us more water (this time we specified "no" bottle water. I believe that service is lacking, I truly believe that because they know that the tip is secure no need to put in the effort. Tip is earned based on the service provided. And for this reason I'm not giving a 5 star accross the board. Need to work on your service.”

“The first time I tried Tiagos Tacos was at Miami Dade College. We LOVED their tacos so much that we attended more events together when ever Tiagos Taco food truck was there. I was delighted to see they opened a restaurant in North Miami . I ordered the Taco trio steak. I have no idea what the special ingredients are but it is the yummiest flavor I've tasted for tacos!! yummy yum yum.”

“Was in the area when I searched for frozen yogurt near me and found this place. The ice cream was phenomenal with tons of variety- specifically the guava, ferrero chocolate, and passion fruit were my favorite. All the toppings are fresh and full of variety. “We have visited this location twice this month, and both times we had the pleasure of being served by Jered. Without a doubt, he provided the best customer service I have ever experienced. From the moment we sat down, he was incredibly friendly, attentive, and genuinely kind.

He was always one step ahead of us, bringing drink refills before we even had to ask and making sure we had everything we needed throughout the entire meal. He even brought us to-go refills, which was such a thoughtful touch and really showed how much he cares about his guests.

On our most recent visit, we were celebrating my mom’s birthday, and Jered went out of his way to make her feel special. He was so sweet, warm, and personable that he truly made the celebration even more memorable. “Latin Corner Cafe is the perfect spot whether you’re in a hurry or looking to enjoy a relaxed meal. The food is fresh, flavorful, and comes out beautifully prepared. I ordered the Bistec a Caballo con Papitas, and it was absolutely delicious. The steak was cooked perfectly, the portion was generous, and the crispy potatoes complemented it perfectly.

I also had the pleasure of meeting the owner, who was incredibly kind, welcoming, and generous. Her hospitality made the experience even more enjoyable.

“I was lost and then I found this place. I am here by pure chance. I had the pan con bistec (4.5/5). When I order a pan con bistec I wish you could take a look at a couple of things, the first one is the bread toasted? And in this case, yes, it was perfectly toasted. A good portion of onions, tomatoes, and lettuce. It had been crispy shoestring fries. The beef was well seasoned but here comes the 0.5 I did not give it: It was a little bit tough. But you can’t have it all.
We also had tamales con Macitas de puerco : 5/5. A very generous portion Tamal, and some pieces of pork around it. Super filling. And prices are amazing. Everything was under $11 apiece.
In service is outstanding, I’m not gonna comment too much on this so come here and experience stuff for yourself”

“I took a gamble ordering from a place I never heard of in Miami on Grubhub called Quinoa Connection, and it paid off BIG TIME! 1st of all, I never use Grubhub, but now as an Amazon prime member, I get free delivery. 2nd reason why I don’t order from Grubhub is that I am always so suspect that these restaurants I never heard of are ghosts kitchens making vegan food, who might not care about vegans, and I was wrong to assume that about Quinoa Connection. Not only do they have a location at 134 Hialeah Drive in Hilaleah (which I intend to visit soon), the owner, Donald, called and texted to verify my order, my allergies and to confirm my satisfaction as well, (plus he gave me a little extra treat too). I order the “Pecandillo” which is essentially a Picadillo made with pecans instead of meat, tomatoes, onions, peppers, garlic, olives, raisins, and spices, served on top of quinoa and I added black beans for an extra charge. The portion was very satisfying and the taste and flavors were incredible. As a surprise for a dessert, I was given an house made dessert empanada aka The Nada Empanada tm Key Lime, A Frozen Date, Almond, Orange Zest Pocket, filled with Key Lime Pie filling: lime juice, avocado, raw organic agave, coconut cream, vanilla, sea salt, and it was out of the world delicious! Literally the best variation of an ice cream sandwich I have ever had. 10 of out 10 for me on this one! The price was right, the portions were perfect, the owner was courteous and super kind, and the food was delicious and nutritious!”

I start going there at the old Dairy Queen location on the Eastside of Hialeah before they moved to their new location on the Westside of the city. I continued to buy my food for my employees group meetings food from them when I was working for the city of Hialeah's city hall, I started in the Fire Department, and over time was promoted to Director of Information Technology with a staff of about 18 people. The Mesa family always treated use like part of their family!”

“The first time I tried Tiagos Tacos was at Miami Dade College. We LOVED their tacos so much that we attended more events together when ever Tiagos Taco food truck was there. I was delighted to see they opened a restaurant in North Miami . I ordered the Taco trio steak. I have no idea what the special ingredients are but it is the yummiest flavor I've tasted for tacos!! yummy yum yum.”

“I recently ordered from Marco’s Pizza and was really impressed overall. The pizza came out hot, fresh, and loaded with flavor. The crust had a nice balance crispy on the outside but still soft and chewy inside and the sauce tasted rich without being overpowering. The cheese was perfectly melted and generous, and the toppings were evenly distributed, not thrown on in a rushed way.

“I recently went to this location on May 16, 2026. WOW, I was really impressed by the quality, freshness and authenticity of the pastries and sweets. Everything for sale is really Cuban! I bought marquesitas and cupcakes and they were super fresh and well-balanced in sweetness level. Everything is made with natural products, I mean, no preservatives or substitutes at all! I found this location on the internet and decided to give it a visit in Hialeah from Aventura. Well, this bakery just became my go to for pastries regardless of the distance. The quality of their products brought me back to my childhood in Cuba, when there used to be excellent bakeries in the island. I highly recommend this location to anyone who is looking for really good, fresh and natural sweets. The place is super clean else. ENJOY after your visit!”

“I decided to try this place out since my school is near. I came in from the back entrance where they have outside seating. When I entered the lady behind the counter was quick to take my order. She was polite and had that good Cuban charm calling me mami and mi niña. I ordered a personal pepperoni pizza and a cookies and cream milkshake. The wait for the food was timely. I would’ve preferred more pepperoni on the pizza but overall it was crunchy and soft cheesy and not too oily. The shake was also very very good. The shake was more chocolatey than what you would expect of a cookies and cream milkshake but I still loved it. After I finished she cared enough to ask me how it was. The menu is diverse and I can’t wait to try the other milkshakes. But she truly was incredibly kind. Would def recommend! ❤️

I haven’t been back in a while because I no longer attend the college that’s near by but I decided to eat there again to support their business. I don’t know if they’ve had a change in servers but the service is not the same. They don’t greet you when you walk in, they look at you like I walked into their living room and when I asked for my order for pickup. I sat down because it wasn’t ready. I was on my phone waiting and when I finally notice the lady is holding my order in-front of my face. She didn’t talk to me she just held it there and I thought that was a bit rude and odd. They have definitely shrunk their portion sizes but the cookies and cream shake has gotten better. 🤷‍♀️”
