“I am a Miami to Alaska transplant and seek out great Cuban food and cafe’ whenever I travel. Castro’s is the real deal!! The Cuban Cafe’ is spot on and the French Toast with the Rum Sauce is off the charts!! Enough food to feed two! The owner is friendly & engaging as is the staff. Stop in, grab a Cafe’ and chill on the sidewalk seating while your breakfast is created..I say created because it is a true work of art…at least in my professional opinion.”

“The appearance, flavor, and price are all satisfactory; I will certainly return here again. 💯👍 I would recommend this to anyone visiting Hawaii. 🌺🤙”
“A wonderful experience at Maze in Honolulu, largely thanks to the exceptionally warm service, strong flavor and sauce work, and consistently good dishes from beginning to dessert.
What sticks in our mind were the oyster (meaty oyster that didn't feel powdery as some larger ones do, balanced but not overwhlemed by the sauce on top), the basil jook that came with the scallop dish (so well developed), the Washugyu and daikon broth that came with the main.
Also want to compliment the pacing of the meal as we never felt like we were waiting for a long time for any of the dishes. Pretty much perfectly well paced for preferences.
Overall, adding in everything into the experience would not hesitate to come back here again.”
“The food was absolutely delicious! Top notch tempura that is fried fresh. It was served in 2 courses ensuring fresh frying. I ordered shrimp and vegetables. The dipping sauce was light but my fav part with the additional dipping salts/powders that added more flavor depth.
The service was excellent. The staff were kind. The Resturant was clean.”

“Sunny’s was an awesome find for breakfast. The servers are so nice and the food was awesome. I had the avocado toast - so good. Lots of variety and healthy meals. I would highly recommend this spot.”
“Floralia is the best pizza I’ve ever had (including non vegan pizza). The crust is chewy and crispy at the same time. The sauces and toppings are all made in house. The focaccia is fluffy and delicious. The Caesar salad dressing is garlicky and creamy. Cant go wrong with on the menu. Just moved off island and I don’t think I’ll ever find a pizza that compares 💔 Updated from previous review on 2026-07-31”
“I have visited the Haleiwa location multiple times and it just hits the spot for unique gelato flavors! I also highly recommend any of the crepes ... and of course, the Ube Mochi waffle!!! Staff friendly and attentive and the place is kept very clean. Definitely worth a stop if you need to pick up a pint of gelato for a family dinner too. ;)”
“I love their vegetarian stir fry! I have to limit my sodium intake, and this dish gives me the flavor I need without a lot of salt.”
“Greatest little coffee shop in Waikiki!Great crew, delicious food, wonderful coffee and of course Jen’s homemade breads and muffins!!”
“The food, wine, service, and atmosphere are amazing. I dine here every 2 months and I am always very impressed. Thank you for your continued excellence!”
“Senia delivers an exceptional dining experience, with attentive, polished service and an intimate ambiance—especially with the option to sit at the chef’s counter and watch the kitchen at work.
The ahi cigar and triple-smoked salmon were highlights. The interplay of textures, aromas, and contrasting flavor notes throughout the meal was thoughtful and beautifully executed. There is a clear sense of creativity and technical precision behind the food.
One minor refinement: some dishes leave guests to construct their own bites. A more controlled composition could better showcase the chef’s intended balance of flavors and textures. Overall, an inventive, refined, and memorable experience deserving of five stars.”
“Such a cool experience! Drinks were delicious and beautifully presented. Bartenders were very attentive, kind, and professional in their craft. Truly was art! The ambiance was very sexy and moody, it's a cool date night vibe. Overall great experience and would love to go back! Just wish they had a little more food/snack options.”

“We RAN to Waffle and Berry after the zoo. We showed up 15 minutes before closed and they were quick to calm us. As long as we ordered by 2 minutes before close, we would be served. And then they showed up with a snack plate for our toddler. He absolutely loved it!! We absolutely loved our dessert. Crispy, warm waffle. Sweet ice cream and berries. Unbelievably welcoming environment.”
“Our family had the best time. Luau was authentic and in a spacious venue with breathtaking views. Staff were friendly. Performances were unforgettable. Activities were engaging. Definitely the best luau I’ve been to. Mahalo Experience Nutridge.”
“From the warm greeting everyone receives when walking through the door to the attentive and super friendly service, this place is amazing! The sushi was outstanding… hands down the best sushi I’ve ever had! The texture, taste and presentation was top notch. Wish there was a location on the east coast!”

“We celebrated a big anniversary at Pai and WOW - they made it extra special. We did the four course menu with wine pairings. The service was top notch. The food was inspired, creative, delicious, and locally sourced. Though the portions of each dish looked small, it was more than enough food and so delicious you wanted to eat every bite! The wine pairings were spot on, absolutely perfect with our chosen courses. The space has such a lovely vibe - clean and modern, but comfortable and well appointed. There really isn't another dining experience quite like this on the island. Justine and Kevin have created such a beautiful place with incredible food and service. Pai is definitely a must-try restaurant. We will definitely be back.”

“We celebrated my wife’s birthday at this place with $125 menu. Most of the food was good. We love the Hokkaido scallop and Toro(?) with a touch of Yuzu Kosho (in picture). The worst dish was one of the appetizers made with spicy tuna and deep fried sushi rice. I shouldn’t have forced myself to finish that.”
“I am foodie from Japan, enjoy once or twice a month hotel buffet in Tokyo. But Orchids Sunday branch menu was the best ever. Not only does it taste good, but it also tastes good, fine scenery, number and placement of staff and their diligence noteworthy.”
“Bufanda and Layla took great care of us! Got us a table and was sat comfortably. They brought our drinks out fast and made us feel welcome. Thanks guys. Great drinks!”
“Culinary magic! Was taken here by family, not by choice. However- my next trip, I’ll be visiting on my own and trying a bit more of the menu. So thankful to have experienced this place and dining adventure!”
“If your looking for a good gluten free place this is the place for you, my sister has celiac and it’s always hard to find places but this place was perfect near our hotel, very filling waffles and you walk out feeling healthy with there organic options, it’s a small place but I felt the Hawaii experience dining outside, I highly recommend them if u have celiac disease”

“We've been using Hawaii Coworking/Anytime Mailbox for 1.5 years. Excellent service. Easily accessible location. Lahaina is exceptionally service oriented and a great communicator. I had an Anytime Mailbox at a previous location in California...there is no comparison! Hawaii Coworking and Lahaina on Hobron Lane definitely much, much better! I wholeheartedly recommend Hawaii Coworking!”
“Ordered the teri beef and spicy wingdings. Wife got the grilled ham & cheese snd asparagus. All was very quick for 11:00 at night. Beef was tender with not too much teriyaki. Wingdings were outstanding and well spiced. ham and cheese was satisfying. All for $36 with 2 drinks was excellent value as well. Excellent local spot that provides more & better when everyone else is closed.”
“I had about 30 minutes before my "Me time" appointment to get all girled up with lashes, pedicure and manicure. I figured I stop in and have some breakfast. The manager that serviced me was sweet. The environment was kicked back as I noticed families enjoying each other. I sat on a 4 seater. That's all they had. I invited Father God to sit with me... I got to talk with him. And ate my breakfast... cried inside of all things going on in my life. Changes etc. Towards the end, a girl asked if she could use 2 seats... I said yes. Turned around and it looked like time with her mom and dad... at least I had the chair in front of me... #godsseat... I miss my parents. They both alive. They just chose to not be in my life. Been so long. Thank you Jack in the Box for being available for me to sit, eat and talk with God. God bless your buisness ”
“Great service and awesome workers. This mc.donalds was extremely busy, i went inside because i thought the drive through would take to long and they still got my order out fast and efficiently and the workers were still happy despite working so hard so early in the morning 😁”
“This location has consistently been great for drive thru and dine in, with almost everything tasting like it was freshly made while not taking a super long time.
Their execution of the menu ensures the food you get lives up to what you’re expecting, unlike other locations nearby where the food looks sad and unappetizing
Keep up the great work”
“The food was very good, wife love the ice cream on her French toast.”

“People seem to come here for matcha but their EARL GREY GELATO is the best EVER. I have tried so many earl grey desserts. This is one of the best. I tried earl grey, hojicha, lilikoi, matcha, black sesame and ube. They are all amazing. Loved the rich flavors.
FYI, there is a sitting area if you want to eat inside the building :)”
“I was visiting Honolulu from Wisconsin, and this food truck ended up being one of the best surprises of the whole trip. I’ll be honest the walk to it looks a little sketchy at first since you head down this small alley, but don’t let that fool you. Once you get back there, it’s a whole different story. The customer service was awesome super friendly, super welcoming. And the food? Straight-up 10/10. The loaded barbecue fries were insane, packed with flavor and totally worth every bite. The burgers were just as amazing, juicy and cooked perfectly. Everything we tried was out of this world. If you’re in Honolulu, don’t sleep on this place. I’d come back in a heartbeat.”

“This place was recommended by a foodie friend of mine so I expected it to be good, but no, good doesn’t do it justice. The oat milk latte was glorious and the mango scone delicate, very lightly sweet and the perfect accompaniment to the latte. Service was friendly and helpful.”
“The Best Rockstar place on Oahu!”
“Hidden gem of Poke, definitely sushi grade sushi in this poke as every bite was silky. Every bowl is mixed to order so the fish is not over marinated like grocery store poke.
Definitely, the best poke bowl I have ever had. Worth a stop on the 2nd floor. Super nice people.
Quiet place with dine in, don't let the environment fool you, these people know what they doing.”
“Lunch Set was nice and a good price, $30. Tempura, 3pcs sushi and a choice of miso soup or $3+ for udon. We chose to have it with udon. Everything was tasty, from the quality of the sushi and the tempura. I have no complaints, some of the items are a little pricey but its worth it for the quality.”
Drive-Thru Restaurants
“This is my go to coffee place! It’s just outside of Waikiki on Kapahulu Avenue! The owners are amazing and they take pride in everything they do. The coffee shop is always clean, smells amazing and welcoming for anyone that wants to grab a quick bite, some really good coffee or to talk stories on one of their tables. It’s nice to meet up with friends here and get hydrated and caffeinated while catching up before the drive home or to work! Highly recommend their hot mocha!”
“The ladies who work here are very sweet. They give you extra smoothie in a little cup. The smoothies are the best I’ve ever had and the fruit is delicious. If you buy a 32 oz you can keep the jar and bring it back for $7 refills. The fruit is reasonably priced, $5-7 for a good size container.”
“Celebrated our engagement here... been here a few times since living here and even after leaving and the vibes and food here are always excellent! We sat at the sushi bar this time which I think made the experience more fun since it basically felt like an omakase style meal despite us also ordering a la carte. We're more into the casual but excellent fish quality vibe anyway... thanks jeff and to the staff for being welcoming!”
“Ate here this morning. Had the sunrise breakfast with Portuguese sausage and some of the best friend rice I’ve ever had. Entire meal was good, well priced and came out in a timely manner. Kids enjoyed their chocolate chip pancakes. Would’ve added photos, but the food was enjoyed long before photos were considered lol.”
“The Zaru-soba sauce was perfect...the soba itself was good, but the sauce is amazing. I haven't had sauce like that since I was in Japan.
The hamachi carpaccio was a little sad looking, but the salmon with yuzu was really good. There were other dishes I wanted but they were out of it when I went.
Quail eggs were nice, the eggplant tempura was really good too...didn't care much for the grilled tofu. I guess it was because it was harder and dryer than I thought it was gonna be even after letting it sit in the sauce (i poked holes in it to help it absorb more of the sauce, but that didn't work).
Overall this restaurant has some really amazing food, as well as some not so amazing food. But overall I enjoyed it there. But for sure I'll be back when I want zaru-soba and salmon.
One interesting thing that happened was we asked if we could sit at the bar and we were told no. There was plenty of open seating at the bar, and there were only 1 or 2 couples up there at the time eating. I guess we were not good enough for the bar seating for some reason.”

“This little place packs an amazing punch for some great sushi. It was the best sushi I have had. I got the shrimp crunch and we tried several others that I can’t recall the name of but was all excellent. Service was good. The atmosphere was quiet. Would definitely eat there again if I ever come back to Waikiki.”
“Absolute must try when in Honolulu! My favorite spot to visit when I'm in town. A5 beef option is so worth it, kimchi is amazing, and the service is top notch! This place never disappoints!”
“Chef Aung and team really made our omakase experience! Not only were the dishes incredibly plated and served, fish was really fresh and tasty. Chef is so funny so it truly felt like we were dining with friends. 10/10 experience. Will absolutely be back!”
Fine Dining
“Amazing. Best service and dining experience ever. This topped any experience at a five start steak house because the staff and chefs providing the best service. We sat at the counter and it was very intimate. This is an authentic as close to Japan experience you can get in the states. Chef Keigo was our chef and taught us everything about omokase”
“I walked passing the center this morning what I found. They start putting up Christmas decorations in the beginning of October.. are you kidding me? It won’t help your sales if you looking for that goal. It would make many people though you are crazy. I am not sure the marketing or what so ever department does not knows well what exactly what is they doing. Instead of trying doing that you should focus on the coming event. Such as Early access sales campaigns it will be boosted traffic Not Christmas decorations in October.”
“What an incredible dining experience! Every dish was expertly, intentionally, and thoughtfully curated--the passion and respect for exceptional products were clear in every single bite. The flavor profiles were unique while honoring tradition using fresh ingredients--some meticulously procured and others unique and locally developed. To make our experience even more memorable, Chef Ray was such a generous and welcoming host. He shared stories of his training, techniques, and the most entertaining anecdotes! We thoroughly enjoyed the food, the entertainment, and being a part of a wonderful culinary tradition. This was by far the most memorable dining experience I have ever had.”
“I made a reservation specifically to enjoy the fireworks, and I was so excited for the evening. While the hostess was extremely polite despite looking quite flustered, the management experience fell short. The manager (or bar manager—she was wearing a headset) and the gentleman behind the bar came across as notably abrupt. Having worked in the industry for many years, I completely understand the stress of a busy night, but this felt out of place for an establishment of this caliber—especially being at a Ritz-Carlton.
Onto the food! The drinks were fantastic and the meal itself was delicious, though I was a bit disappointed to find some old, wilted pieces of lettuce in my salad. Otherwise, no complaints!
A special shoutout to our amazing server (a redheaded-woman whose name I unfortunately didn't catch)—she was wonderful. And the view for the fireworks? Absolute perfection. 10/10 for the view and the server!”
“What an exceptionally wonderful place for ambience, service and food. The staff were so friendly and attentive, our sever went above and beyond to be professional and friendly. The food - steak and salad with sides was excellent. The live music - guitarist/singer was also so good and created a wonderful atmosphere. Highly recommend this restaurant.”

“Incredible flavor & huge portions! I had the Garlic Parmesan Crusted Ahi over brown rice. I’ll absolutely be back!”

“Their sushi cake exceeded our expectations. It was so delicious and almost too pretty to eat! The 2 guys working when I picked up were awesome! Super friendly and one even took the time to show me the cake and gave tips on how to cut and eat it! Their customer service from ordering to pick up was exceptional!”
“We absolutely fell in love with this bakery! The service is warm, friendly, and never pushy. Everything we tried was delicious, especially the ube cheese roll, brownie, corned beef roll, guava pastry, and cheese roll. Honestly, you can’t go wrong with anything here. We wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone looking for amazing baked goods!
Come early, though — the popular items sell out fast! We wholeheartedly recommend this place”
“Walking past, there's a good chance you won't even notice it. There's a row of 3-4 shops in one building. Upon entering, you realize just how small it really is. The lady behind the counter was super friendly and patient, this was the first time for me to visit this place. I honestly couldn't decide, there were so much to choose from. I ended up ordering the Hawaiian calzone and the combination calzone. I was not disappointed at all. They were delicious. I quickly realized however that I should have ordered just 1. They were both quite full. I'll be sure to go back there on my next trip to Hawaii.”
“When I was growing up, going to school across the street at Aliamanu, they only had Pioneer Chicken at that corner of the Shopping Center. Several years later, after Pioneer Chicken was no more, I was pleased to discover this new Korean BBQ place that opened up there.”
“My husband was in search of some good fish in Waikiki. We stumbled upon this place and decided to give it a try. I’m not a seafood person so I got the chicken pasta and he tried snapper for the first time. Both of us were blown away by how tasty everything was. The portions were huge too! Out of all the places we had been to during our trip, this place is at the top. Even as a non fish eater, I loved it! There can be a wait, but it is well worth it. Try it, you’ll love it.”
“The bara shirashi box is an excellent value. The sushi is high quality and well seasoned and the rice is perfectly cooked and consistent both times I've ordered it.”
“Had such a great food experience. Everyone was friendly. For being complete outsiders, we were made to feel like family.”
“Kimchi fry rice is amazing and the poke is fire, definitely on my list of top grinds.”
“The poke is good. Somewhat expensive but portions are generous. Aimed towards Asian/pac islander diet so a healthy portion of rice. Mainlanders might find it too much. Sushi is fresh. Got it a few times. Surimi(imitation crab meat) is good. The scallops are good. It's a full meal in a bowl. Small bowl is not much less than the regular bowl in size and price but you get to choose 3 proteins in the regular bowl. Good and consistent quality. Might have to fight for outdoor seating as it gets packed.”
“This is one of the world’s great restaurant. The food is amazing, the ambience is incredible and the wait staff is one of the most knowledgeable I have seen. The guest is treated like royalty. I highly recommend this restaurant”
“The best High Tea we've had, including The Fairmont in a few key cities. Excellent!!”
“Killer food! Always friendly and quick even when busy.
Good portion sizes also.
I come couple times a week.
Recommend for everyone in the area to check em out.”
“Probably the best fried chicken that I have EVER had. If they were to offer a fried chicken plate, chicken sandwich, or just a bucket of chicken I think that I would eat here every day of the week. The fried chicken biscuit and gravy was delicious, but give me just the chicken. I can't rave enough about it. The service here was excellent, very friendly and thoughtful of the entire party. However, it was a bit slow. And don't expect your food to come out quickly. This is a small operation so expect freshly cooked for the table. Parking is the biggest complaint. That said, the headache of finding parking and the longer wait time is worth it for that chicken. An absolute must go for anyone.”
“My all itme favirite restaurant. Excellent food and service. Reknown for their chirashi.”
“We loved both the food and the wine and the service. The place is gorgeous too. We had a wonderful time.”

“A wonderful dinner enjoyed by my family of 4 ( youngest 11). Wonderful wine and sake selection. Each course we had was enjoyable miso soup, edamame, tempura, sashimi, rolls, and the black sesame ice cream well very much enjoyed. Would absolutely come back and recommend to others. Omakase experience is something we would absolutely do on our next visit!”
“This place is small but stylish and beautifully decorated, from the star of a bar design to each and every cozy nook throughout. Now home of the best craft cocktails on Oahu and complimented with well thought out, mouth watering bites. I went with a friend for the grand opening evening and I would never have guessed it was a grand opening. The staff was friendly, seemed very at ease the whole night and the bartender was knowledgeable about the menu. We tried 5 or so different small bites and a couple various cocktails each from the menu and EVERY SINGLE item was delicious and crafted so beautifully we almost didn't want to eat or drink them (almost! 😋) Well done, Podmore!!”
“Had lunch here after hanging out at Waikiki Beach. Super easy walk right across the street. Amazing atmosphere with a great view of the beach. The inside is cozy. Not best situated for large groups. Place was clean with great AC. I got the mini udon soup and the spicy tuna roll. Zero complaints. The server and chefs were amazing. Would definitely come back.”
“The food was absolutely phenomenal. We have tried a variety of sushi places including several omakase experiences. This place is a fantastic for sushi. I mean truly in a league of its own. The other touches like the authenticity, the ambience, and the service were also great. The chef was quite friendly and the staff was great. They do have an added, automatic gratuity of 20% but it is well earned and deserved. It may be better framed as a service fee or baked into the price, but that would be my only mention to set expectations. Other than that, every single option we chose on the menu (as a party of 2 we ordered 9 different items and each was a delight) not only reads well but is delicious! Their house made soy sauce served with a brush-tool as well as the wasabi in rice was a first time, unique culinary experience for us, and it was nothing short of phenomenal. Both really help bring out flavorful bites!”

“Amazing food and atmosphere every time. I highly recommend this restaurant”
“The staff at Cafe Kaila are so warm and welcoming. They also have best breakfast whether you choose to eat an eggs Benedict or a banana bread French toast. Always fresh fruit there so pile it on everyone and just enjoy 😉”
“About the Rating Stars (optional) - suggest a switch to Mandatory! Comments Illustrate as Advertised. Mr. Dolan has another location opposite Kahala Mall. One can pre-populate the Survey. Yep, (Better Be) too busy Dining-n-Enjoying themselves!”
“Food is ALWAYS delicious and the staff is so kind and attentive! Katsu-san creates the most beautiful sashimi platters and omakase sushi!”
“so good!!!!! best lobster roll strongly recommended first time trying and i really like it”
“Simple, shareable, strongly spiced food, reasonably priced but will make you want to drink. Cozy, maybe 10 tables total. Bonus points for being open late but that will mean rowdy tables. Party room next door overwhelms the ambiance with skull-numbing, throbbing bass. Limited parking.”
“Outside table for one at lunch time. Korean barbecue chicken sandwich. Excellent, delicious and messie to eat. I would order again.”
“The garlic and lemon garlic shrimp was good. The atmosphere of having all the food trucks around several large picnic tables produced a cool ambiance, however, if the wind stops blowing the smell of oil frying is a bit overwhelming. Not in a rush to come back but certainly worth the visit.”
“Excellent service! They were open during Hurricane Lala. We were so happy they went above-and-!beyond to accommodate vegans by modifying a dish. When the chef realized they were out of tofu, they went out to buy tofu in the hurricane ! They even reduced the price of our meal. Waiter was very kind, patient, and funny! Highly recommenrld”
“First time for brunch here and everything was excellent. Celebrated my bf's birthday since it just so happened to fall on the Sunday right after the brunch hours started! They were very accommodating with helping to customize the menu items as I am vegetarian and he is allergic to dairy products. Every dish was amazing! Highly recommended!”
“best Mexican food on island, friendly service, HUGE portions - well worth it ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”
“The only thing I didn’t like were the metal chairs and the noise. Service, food, and even the wait time were incredible. (We didn’t make a reservation and they still got us in quickly.”
“Our catered chicken and steak fajita meal was fabulous and very tasty. BEST Mexican food around! Thanks Raul and team!!! We will be back !!”
“Ate here this morning. Had the sunrise breakfast with Portuguese sausage and some of the best friend rice I’ve ever had. Entire meal was good, well priced and came out in a timely manner. “Ordered a sushi platter online via clove for pick up in 30 mins and it was ready when I got there. There was ample parking in the self storage lot. Looked very presentable to bring to a party and tasted good!”
“Amazing dinner and friendly staff from bar to dining room! Our must every time we visit Oahu!”
“Best garlic shrimp I’ve ever had! I’ve been to 15+ eateries ordering the same dish on the mainland and the Hawaiian islands. The guava fried chicken and Lilikoi Pie were epic too! ”
“Superior classic burgers, great fries, friendly staff and wonderfully nostalgic setting. Highly recommend!!! 🙌🏼”
“Great place to go by yourself for a delicious lunch or dinner and also great for a date. We went for my husband’s birthday and it was delicious. The staff were kind and helpful. Can’t wait to go back.”
“There's not enough space to right the good things about this place. As soon as you walk in, you are greeted and acknowledged by everyone, including the sushi chefs. Water and drink order is perfectly timed. Whether you order teishoku complete meals or sushi, the flavor and and portions are spot on. If you choose to sit at the sushi counter, the spread is just amazing. From white fish, tuna, to shellfish and sometimes even a fruit or plant to cleanse the pallet. I would recommend reservations as this place is always busy. Takeout is also very good!”
“The Tomahawk steak is outstanding. No need to ruin it with A1 sauce. The stuffed chicken breast was not dry, so tasty. Everything is ala carte but totally worth it. Would go again”
“I used to come here often yoga studio across the street called open space yoga was open years ago and occasionally after it was closed, good açaí bowl and fried rice.”
“Great food and service Felix is the best. Best food ive had in Hawaii and the portions are huge”
“So welcoming ❤️ simple dinner or a drink at night next to the beach, priceless”
“Great location to get a beer, shop for hard-to-find brands and styles, and just enjoy a reprise from the hustle and bustle of the Kaka'ako scene. Food menu is sparse, but the beers great!”
“If you have never tried 'Namaste Indian & Nepalese Cuisine' in Honolulu - you should have no hesitation whatsoever about ordering from here - it's 12/10 delicious! I had it for the first time tonight - hands down one of the best meals I've ever had! Lamb Masala & the Rogan Josh lamb dish was phenomenal. Naan was freshly made. Meat was SO tender. You definitely can tell that the ingredients are high quality with health benefits & cooked with a lotta love. I regret not ordering more (especially the mango lassi mmm...) I honestly could eat from here everyday & not feel guilty. This is the type of food that will heal you from the inside out lol. Fresh - healthy REAL food - tons of amazing flavors - warms the soul! Just added to my Top 5 favorites on Oahu! Go order now!!”
“Definitely the Hawaiian Eggs Benedict with toast, the fried ice cream. the tarot pina colada, etc... you will not be disappointed with anything you order. Also, don't get me started with the service. Plz ask for Jessica. That girl deserves a raise or a promotion.”
“You will never be disappointed. The chef’s creativity in every dish shines through and is phenomenal every time. Makes me cry good tears! The best sushi on Oahu and a memorable, friendly atmosphere!”
“Super dope spot with great people and immaculate vibes. The extensive record collection sounds great on the vintage McIntosh sound system and rotary mixer. Excellent cocktails and mocktails and cool staff.”
“Everything 🤙😵💫🤙,,,,Sooo Ono ! Break away from the typical grind and find something New , this is the place !”
“Great sushi just a quick walk away from the airport during a layover”
“We were fortunate to grab seats at the bar before a show at the Blaisdell. Beautiful atmosphere, very attentive server/bartender (Kalei), amazing food options and lovely hand mixed cocktails. We were pleasantly surprised and will return!”
“Great selection of food and awesome atmosphere - wonderful flavors! Service was outstanding too. A must visit for authentic Vietnamese!”
“Bikini burger was a perfect fit after a long day of vacation. Fresh, hot juicy burger that comes with seasoned fries. We also got the salad and loved the toppings (pickle, tomato, dressing). Simple but delicious. The uniquely fried Oreos were a fun dessert. My son loved them.”
“Coming from Toronto where food is exceptional in general, the food here is phenomenal! I had the spicy ahi katsu which is so delicious and hearty. They also encouraged us to sample so many different poke so my husband could decide on the poke he wanted. It was tough to choose with all the incredible options
The sweet old lady at the front counter truly touched my heart. So hospitable, thoughtful, happy and generous. The staff overall were also a major highlight. I would highly, highly recommend this place to anyone trying poke or just interested in the a fresh seafood experience”
“I've been to Gyoza Studio Kubota a few times since it opened, and it's become one of my favorite ramen shops in Honolulu!
Their chicken paitan ramen is hands down one of the best. I love a broth that isn't overly rich or heavy but is still packed with that deep chicken flavor. It's so easy to eat while being super satisfying. Honestly, it's the perfect ramen for a rainy day... or any day for that matter.
And obviously, you HAVE to get the gyoza. It is Gyoza Studio after all! The gyoza was delicious, with perfectly thin wrappers and a great meat-to-skin ratio.
The staff is super nice, and the whole restaurant has such a chill, laid-back atmosphere. One of the fun things I love is that they let you draw on the walls, so naturally we had to add a masterpiece of our own.
Overall, one of my favorite spots in Honolulu. Great ramen, great gyoza, great vibes. Can't wait to come back again!”

“Absolutely our best meal in Hawaii. The right choice to celebrate a special occasion. Our experience was so wonderful, food, wine, atmosphere all made for the best evening. Our server, Julian was absolutely top notch, extremely friendly, attentive, and was just so happy to engage ensuring the celebration was more than we expected. Kudos he deserves it. Highly recommend this place. Will definitely be back.”
“OMG! The Hauoli Pastry Poi Mochisada is DA BOMB! Light & airy, slightly crispy outside. If I had known it was going to be this good, I would have bought 2 dozen. If you only buying for yourself, MAYBE 6 is enough, but I'm a big boy so a dozen would have been perfect for me. We discovered them at the Night Market at the Royal Hawaiian Golf Club and I'm so glad we did. If I ever see them elsewhere, I'm definitely buying again. Otherwise, I will have to wait for the next Night Market, but I won't make the same mistake as tonight, so gonna leave with 2 dozen!”
“We visited Aina Steak and Seafood over the Christmas holidays and were a little bit late for our reservations. Luckily, the friendly staff still saved a table for us by the open kitchen. The kitchen and the entire restaurant, including the bathrooms, were very clean. The restaurant had a different vibe from other steakhouses on the island which was very refreshing. The friendly waitress took our drink orders and gave us an overview of some of the recommendations and specials. Our waitress was very attentive and always had a smile on her face. She checked on us multiple times throughout our dining experience. We ordered: Appetizer: Oyster platter, salad (came with the steak) Sides: Truffle mashed potatoes, mushroom medley Entrees: Prime ribeye, lamb rack Dessert: Creme brulee, cheesecake The apps were fresh and delicious. The protein entrees came with these special salts and wasabi on the side. It complimented the meat well. The ribeye was just mediocre but the lamb was some of the best I have ever tasted on this island. The sides were portioned well and very tasty. Desserts was just what you would expect to end the meal with. Overall the food was very good. Now this is where the night was sort of ruined. As we were seated near the kitchen, we could overhear the cook/manager/owner(?) berating his service staff very loudly and in earshot of us customers. We were not eavesdropping, but he was so loud that we could see that this was legitimate borderline verbal abuse. I felt sorry for the female staffers that had to endure his unprofessional outbursts in the workplace. I say this as someone who has worked in every position of the restaurant field. As a manager, I have never yelled at any of my staff ever, because you as the leader must show leadership. How do you expect to manage or control your environment when you cannot control your own temper? As a waiter, I would never tolerate an authoritarian manager. I would quit right on the spot. As HR, you might have a lawsuit on your hands if you were to abuse your workers. I loved the food, but I would only come back again if another cook or manager was working instead of this man. I cannot support a business that mistreats its workers, no matter how good the food is.”

“We came in to celebrate our daughter's birthday over the weekend. I was fairly busy and they placed us really close to the kitchen. The kids thought it was so cool to see them sort of cooking the food. Our server was Brooklyn and right for the start she was very nice and friendly, was always checking on us. Food came quickly with only one order that took awhile, which was the birthday girls meal. Peter the assistant general manager came by and apologize to her that her meal was taking awhile and that it would be out shortly. He asked her if she would like an Icee or milk shake while she waited. She said no, and then he left, about 3 minutes later Peter brought her meal to her and thanked her for her patience. He gave her a power card as a thank you and for her celebration., He took her meal off our bill and by then the kids were off to play games and the adults remained at the table for some adult beverages. Peter and Brooklyn really made her birthday special!, later come to find out that Peter is from the same part of the world that we are from, Loved the attention and service that we received on our visit.”

“So, we went there twice. One for dinner and for late lunch. Not dropping names. First, dinner. Service was great and personable. My wife had the macadamia nut crusted fish. She said it was great and tasty. I had the huli huli chicken. It was, eh. The flavor was decent but not a whole half a chicken. There was a breast, leg and very, very small part of a thigh, which is my favorite. Breast
was also kinda dry. I think breasts are very difficult for chefs, happens a lot.
Lunch. Hot wings and cheeseburger. Wings are large and there are 6. Not fried crispy. More of a soft exterior. Personally, not the way to do wings. The flavor was good and unique. Server was young but nice. Difficult for her to look you in the eyes. Overall experience was nice”
“The French toast with haupia at DECK is absolutely amazing! I’ve honestly never had anything quite like it. The combination of flavours is phenomenal, and it’s surprisingly filling too. Every bite is an explosion of comforting, indulgent flavours that work perfectly together.
Add in the phenomenal view of Diamond Head, and it makes the experience even better. If there’s one thing you absolutely must try at DECK, it’s this!”
“We ate at Hula tonight for the first time and Levin took care of us! He went above and beyond and made the experience for myself, my mom and daughter absolutely wonderful. His suggestions for entrees were on point and his customer service was the best we had since arriving on the island! Thank you so much!”
“Dinner at Wolfgang's Lanai was a wonderful experience for our family of four visiting from Japan. We ordered the Garlic Shrimp, Fried Calamari, Loco Moco, and Taste of New York, and everything was delicious. It was also reassuring to know that there was Japanese-speaking staff available. In particular, Emily's service was truly touching. All four of us, including our two daughters, will never forget your smile and kindness. Thank you so much.”

“One of the better Hard Rock Cafes I've eaten at. Our party ordered a burger and a couple fajitas. Food was served quickly and was very tasty. Prices were reasonable by Waikīkī standards, felt we got good value. Decor was engaging, particularly the wave of guitars sculpture. Would eat here again.”
“First of all, this is not our first visit here for me and my husband. But this time we had our 2 kids with us. We walked in on a Father’s Day weekend on a Saturday, expecting no tables for a family of 4. They were able to sit us by the bar. And it was amazing, the food is great we had the MEGAHAWK, oysters, thick-cut bacon, keiki steak plate and very refreshing watermelon sorbet. Willian and Brian were friendly and superb with their service. As always we will be back again soon. THE STEAK IS NOT A MISTAKE ON THIS ONE!!! 👍🏼💯✅- R.C.”

“Everything inside is 100%… but if you’re waiting for your food/drink outside the doors… be prepared to smell the bodily fluids of the mentally ill humans who patrol the area, and bring bug spray to fight the flees and bug bites that follow those smells around. I waited for 2 minutes outside and my legs are covered. Ambiance and experience of a great cafe unfortunately ruined by the area it’s in.”
“The food was good and the AYCE style is definitely fitting for sushi and small Japanese appetizers. The restaurant is small, but this works in its favor as sushi can take some time to prepare. I give a four-star rating only because I disagree with the concept of mandatory gratuities as a rule. This only applies to parties of six or more, however.”
“Hawaiian Prime Seafood and Steaks is the best. Great service, very personable and the food is top notch. DON'T shop anywhere else, feed your family high quality foods at a great price point, you will not be disappointed.”

“I wish I could give this place SEVEN stars, but apparently Google Maps is run by cowards.
RM 38 is, without question, the best bar on the island. And it’s not like the island is out here serving sad gas-station margaritas—there are plenty of world class drinks around. RM 38 is just that far ahead of the pack.
The staff is amazing. You can tell they genuinely love what they do, which makes sitting at the bar feel like dinner theater, except everyone is cooler, the plot involves cocktails, and the ending is always “wow, I need another one.”
The menu is awesome, but if you are overwhelmed or indecisive, just let them work their magic. They will make you something better than whatever you thought your favorite drink was, then casually drop a fascinating story behind it like they are part bartender, part historian, part wizard.”
