“Food is so delicious and staff extremely helpful and attentive”
“What a great burger!! We were so lucky to find them, they’re in almost hidden spot. The order their arugula burger, but I added mushroom to it, it was unreal.
The amount of meat that you get is so good. She was even mindful of my pregnancy, and though I forgot to tell her go for fully cooked she came out and asked me how I would like the Patty to be cooked.”
“As usual, the Tasting Experience menu option was outstanding! Perfectly paired with uniquely concocted libations of botanicals, fruits, and spirits, each course was a delightful original experience we savored and wished would never end. The impeccable service continues to exemplify the highest standard of how dining out should be — timely, personable, educative and mutually respectful. Hats off again to Head chef Ki Chung and his perfectly choreographed staff, shout out to Jason and Jared!”

“Tempura Kiki was an amazing gem in Waikiki - the tempura was all cooked to order and presented with utmost precision and care. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive and couldn’t have been better. Such delicious foods and great people. I’d highly recommend coming here!”
“Great experience! Beautiful property with city views & the sunset from the Tantalus mountain side. The staff does an awesome job entertaining & serving the guests. Definitely book this experience if you're looking for a small intimate luau.”
“We had mixed feelings after dinning here last night. Ambiance and service were very good. Enjoyed being at the counter and watching the kitchen action. Food: some dishes had extreme sweetness to them which was overpowering fresh ingredients: kampachi very sweet sauce, salad dressing also very sweet, Brussels sprouts also tasted more like dessert. Also, market salad had way too many ingredients that did not go well together. More is not always better. Corn fritters and venison tartar were great. Angolloti pasta great but also had unnecessary sweetness to it. Gnocchi were spot on. If not for such over the top use of sweetness in many of the dishes we had, every one would have been great.”

“Sunny’s was an awesome find for breakfast. The servers are so nice and the food was awesome. I had the avocado toast - so good. Lots of variety and healthy meals. I would highly recommend this spot.”
“I love their vegetarian stir fry! I have to limit my sodium intake, and this dish gives me the flavor I need without a lot of salt.”
“I have visited the Haleiwa location multiple times and it just hits the spot for unique gelato flavors! I also highly recommend any of the crepes ... and of course, the Ube Mochi waffle!!! Staff friendly and attentive and the place is kept very clean. Definitely worth a stop if you need to pick up a pint of gelato for a family dinner too. ;)”
“From the warm greeting everyone receives when walking through the door to the attentive and super friendly service, this place is amazing! The sushi was outstanding… hands down the best sushi I’ve ever had! The texture, taste and presentation was top notch. Wish there was a location on the east coast!”
“My favorite panang curry on island! Attentive staff and fun atmosphere.”

“I was visiting Honolulu from Wisconsin, and this food truck ended up being one of the best surprises of the whole trip. I’ll be honest the walk to it looks a little sketchy at first since you head down this small alley, but don’t let that fool you. Once you get back there, it’s a whole different story. The customer service was awesome super friendly, super welcoming. And the food? Straight-up 10/10. The loaded barbecue fries were insane, packed with flavor and totally worth every bite. The burgers were just as amazing, juicy and cooked perfectly. Everything we tried was out of this world. If you’re in Honolulu, don’t sleep on this place. I’d come back in a heartbeat.”
“Came to Nana’s Green Tea at Stix Asia with two cars (4 people total). The posted requirement for parking validation is a $20 minimum spend at a Stix Asia eatery. Fair enough.
We initially spent under $40 on one bill and received validation for one car. Since we had two cars, we purchased an additional drink to bring the total well over $40. However, we were told they could not provide a second validation because the $20 minimum must be on a single ticket. The shift manager explained that employees could get in trouble for honoring it otherwise.
The issue is that the TV screen simply states “$20 minimum spent at a Stix Asia eatery,” which implies total spending qualifies. The single-receipt requirement was not clearly communicated. As a result, I ended up paying $6 for nearly an hour of parking ($3 per half hour).
If someone is only craving one drink or dessert, it doesn’t make sense to force additional purchases just to qualify for validation. Policies like this discourage customers from returning. Unfortunately, I won’t be coming back.”

“We RAN to Waffle and Berry after the zoo. We showed up 15 minutes before closed and they were quick to calm us. As long as we ordered by 2 minutes before close, we would be served. And then they showed up with a snack plate for our toddler. He absolutely loved it!! We absolutely loved our dessert. Crispy, warm waffle. Sweet ice cream and berries. Unbelievably welcoming environment.”
“Outside table for one at lunch time. Korean barbecue chicken sandwich. Excellent, delicious and messie to eat. I would order again.”
“First off a pretty speechless experience. Every worker takes the time to make everyone feel like friends and family which makes it feel as if your family member or friend is cooking for you. The food quality was really nice with plenty of options. Aung goes above and beyond service and won our hearts. We will definitely be back again.”
“Greeted and seated right away without reservations. The staff from beginning to end were very friendly and helpful.
They have choices of booths and counter style seats. We sat in a booth. We found out they had a lunch special so that's what we ordered. Hamachi Teishoku set, hamachi jalapeño ponzu, Castella Tamago and Tempura Teishoku.
The food was good quality and delicious! They have stamp cards too so don't forget to stamp it before you leave!”

“Bar Leather Apron is easily one of Honolulu's most exceptional cocktail experiences—a place where precision, creativity, and genuine hospitality all come together seamlessly. From the moment you walk in, you can feel the care and craft behind every detail, and that feeling only deepens as the night goes on. The cocktails alone are worth planning an evening around. In the Soul is a standout—balanced, expressive, and layered in a way that unfolds sip after sip. The Japan is elegant and refined, a beautiful reflection of the bar's deep respect for Japanese technique. The Matcha is both comforting and complex, with its velvety texture and earthy aroma, while the Sagano Smoke adds a dramatic flair, weaving smokiness and subtle sweetness into something unforgettable. And if you prefer something more delicate, the Fruity & Floral is bright, aromatic, and wonderfully refreshing. But the surprises don't end with the drinks. The Brioche with pizza butter is an absolute revelation—warm, soft, and perfectly indulgent. It's the kind of bite that makes you stop mid-conversation just to appreciate how unexpectedly incredible something so simple can be. What elevates the entire experience, though, is the service. Scotty is phenomenal—attentive, personable, and clearly passionate about the craft. And co-owner Jason sets the tone with his expertise and warm, welcoming presence. Together, they create a space that feels refined yet relaxed, where every guest is treated with genuine care. Bar Leather Apron isn't just a bar—it's a world-class cocktail destination. Whether you're a dedicated spirits enthusiast or simply looking for a memorable night out in Honolulu, this is the place that will exceed every expectation. This is easily a must on my list for all future trips to Oahu.”
“Craaaaazy good omakase. It truly felt like we were back in Japan. This place is well off the beaten trail, seats 12, and is tucked away in a seemingly mostly empty shopping center. Don't be discouraged. The moment you open the door you're transported to a wonderful little sushi bar. Staff was extremely friendly. Omakase options come in $100, $150, and $300 offerings. We did $150 and were satiated, leaving full but not stuffed. The menu was interesting and unique, making dinner feel special.
I can't recommend this restaurant highly enough if you're looking for a unique experience - and want to get out of the touristy side of Waikiki.”
“My wife and I came here for her birthday and it was such an amazing experience from the sushi to the service. The atmosphere was very intimate and the chef was so intricately detailed when preparing each Nigiri. He even noticed my wife was left handed and preferred smaller bites and adjusted for her. Every Nigiri was subarashi but I really loved the ankimo temaki and the Kichiji (which they called Kinki). Oh and the tamago was nothing like we've ever had before, so soft with more complex flavors compared to regular tamago. Im looking forward to coming here again for next special occasion.”
“This has been our go to brunch spot for the last several years. The food is amazing - the Oscar Benedict (crab/corned beef) is one of our favorites! The coffee w/cookies and especially having the milk/cream warmed is the perfect way to start the day. The peaceful atmosphere with its view of the blue ocean and Fort DeRussy park makes this a truly special place. Most of all, the staff is amazing… Summer, Feliciana, Chris, everyone! They have truly imbued the spirit of Aloha.”
“This place is small but stylish and beautifully decorated, from the star of a bar design to each and every cozy nook throughout. Now home of the best craft cocktails on Oahu and complimented with well thought out, mouth watering bites. I went with a friend for the grand opening evening and I would never have guessed it was a grand opening. The staff was friendly, seemed very at ease the whole night and the bartender was knowledgeable about the menu. We tried 5 or so different small bites and a couple various cocktails each from the menu and EVERY SINGLE item was delicious and crafted so beautifully we almost didn't want to eat or drink them (almost! 😋) Well done, Podmore!!”
“My husband was in search of some good fish in Waikiki. We stumbled upon this place and decided to give it a try. I’m not a seafood person so I got the chicken pasta and he tried snapper for the first time. Both of us were blown away by how tasty everything was. The portions were huge too! Out of all the places we had been to during our trip, this place is at the top. Even as a non fish eater, I loved it! There can be a wait, but it is well worth it. Try it, you’ll love it.”
“Mia at Surf Bar Waikiki is incredible! She makes the best crafted cocktails, perfectly balanced, creative, and consistently delicious. You can really tell she knows her craft and takes pride in every drink she makes. On top of that, her energy and friendliness make the whole experience even better. If you’re sitting at the bar, Mia is the one you want making your cocktails. Highly recommend!”

“This place came highly recommended by my family, and it definitely lived up to the praise. The food was amazing—full of flavor and incredibly satisfying. Indoor seating wasn’t available during our visit, but the weather was nice, so eating outside was still comfortable. What really stands out is the value: the portions are generous, and the prices are more than fair for how much food you get. I usually order takeout, especially when I visit later at night, but the quality of the food never disappoints. It’s absolutely worth it every time.”
“I had about 30 minutes before my "Me time" appointment to get all girled up with lashes, pedicure and manicure. I figured I stop in and have some breakfast. The manager that serviced me was sweet. The environment was kicked back as I noticed families enjoying each other. I sat on a 4 seater. That's all they had. I invited Father God to sit with me... I got to talk with him. And ate my breakfast... cried inside of all things going on in my life. Changes etc. Towards the end, a girl asked if she could use 2 seats... I said yes. Turned around and it looked like time with her mom and dad... at least I had the chair in front of me... #godsseat... I miss my parents. They both alive. They just chose to not be in my life. Been so long. Thank you Jack in the Box for being available for me to sit, eat and talk with God. God bless your buisness ”
“Incredibly kind staff! I ordered a $5 meal and immediately went back for a second, and Josh at the first window welcomed me back and then spotted trash from my previous meal in my car and offered to throw it away for me! Very nice!!! Then at the next window Tinia also warmly welcomed me back and asked if I needed anything else!! Super kind, friendly and thoughtful people!! Great experience!”
“We just flew into town and were dyyyyyyying for some mini churros. We don't have a jack in the box where we are from so we just had to stop and the churros did not disappoint. They were warm, crispy, crunchy and covered in cinnamon. The service was awesome! I don't know the guy's name who cashed us out but he was very kind and made sure we had napkins and ketchup. Our order was correct and fresh. I love great service! I feel like too many businesses have lowered their customer service expectations since COVID but this young man was great!”
“Great sushi and presentation! Very subdued decor, but I liked it. One of the best sushi places I've been. If you're in Honolulu, definitely check out this spot!”

“I really enjoyed coming to this bar for drinks I had a whiskey sour and it was perfectly balanced. The bartender that served me was very kind and welcoming. Unfortunately I did not eat the food since I had a full meal before although I've heard great things about how good it was. Next time I'm on island I will definitely try the food.”
“This cafe is fantastic and has all the essentials. Their cortado was tops and their service was fantastic. They also had a French style Canele pastry, which you don't often see. Also love their connection to the local community; They are performing at the top of their craft and would be on normal rotation for me if I lived locally.”
“We tried the hangover burrito, the Waikiki Beast, French toast, and the lilikoi pancakes and everything was amazing. Definitely worth the price. A lot of places in Waikiki can be overpriced and disappointing, but this spot was really good and reasonably priced. Everyone in my family was satisfied with their food, which says a lot. We’ll definitely be coming back before our time in Waikiki ends. 🤙”
“There is seating and you can bring about four or five people per table. There’s also seating outside. It’s a really cool area of dying with family, friends or coworkers and also there is parking lots of parking right behind. It is literally connected within the storage building. literally it is located across McKinley high school’s football field. It is such a jam. They have really good fish there. The ambience is calm. It’s pretty quiet and next-door they have other high-end restaurants. This is a really good area to be in if you want to hang out with people visiting and or just bonding.”
“We stopped by this place for lunch after experiencing some very poor vegan options in Waikiki. We took some basic items - a fried rice dish, a fried noodle dish, and some summer rolls. All of the dishes were great. We also liked the cozy atmosphere. Highly recommended if you are nearby. Everything is vegan except for a few beverage items. Updated from previous review on 2026-01-25”
“What a fantastic little place!! It's a little out of the way and tucked into a small space, but don't miss it!
The space is fantastic and well designed. Lots of colors and very bright. I felt great just being in there!!
The staff was amazing (I think it was the person that owned it). She was super nice, and very helpful! She was excited about her product and it showed. She asked me where we were from and hand a nice quick chat.
They explained that all the syrups were made by them and were natural. There was lots of fresh fruit included. It was wonderful and not overly sweet.
Price was pretty typical for the higher end shaved ice, but a good size and well worth it in my opinion.
Check this place out, I think you'll be glad you did! Thanks for the tasty treats!”
“Superior classic burgers, great fries, friendly staff and wonderfully nostalgic setting. Highly recommend!!! 🙌🏼”

“My +1 & I went here twice; once while walking to Diamond Head and the morning before we had to leave Oahu. It is an amazing place for malasadas and not expensive or fancily crafted. Just good food. The chocolate banana French toast was amazing. Any of the French toast would surely all be good. The chocolate filled malasada was great but I personally loved the cinnamon non filled one. Small quiet little place worth checking out.”
“Was craving a late night bite and stumbled on this smash burger food stand and wowow one of the best burgers I’ve ever had! (I’ve had everything from McDonalds, In and Out, Five Guys, Shake Shack, Dick’s Burgers, you name it!)
Guys working there were super friendly and accommodating, wait for food was less than 5 mins. 10/10, highly recommend, no other notes”

“Kimo is such a great guy. My Hawaii trip had taken a turn for the worst and I admittedly went to his beach bar to drink some sadness away. Ended up meeting tons of great people there including Kimo. On my last day in Hawaii he gave me a goody bag with some original Hawaiian treats and a nice calendar. I promised him a bottle of Canadian maple syrup next time I'm in Hawaii and I'm looking forward to sharing a drink with him again.
Beautiful views, delicious drinks for a great price, and perfect place to cross paths with some truly beautiful people inside and out.”

“Kimchi fry rice is amazing and the poke is fire, definitely on my list of top grinds.”
“The best High Tea we've had, including The Fairmont in a few key cities. Excellent!!”

Fine Dining
“My wife brought me here for my birthday. We got the sashimi plate (for 2). While delicious, it was not enough really for 2 people, so we got a salad, some butterfish and some extra toro. All were delicious, but we definitely had more room for desserts, which were tasty as well. In all, it was a good sushi experience and the restaurant deserves its good reputation.”
“I walked passing the center this morning what I found. They start putting up Christmas decorations in the beginning of October.. are you kidding me? It won’t help your sales if you looking for that goal. It would make many people though you are crazy. I am not sure the marketing or what so ever department does not knows well what exactly what is they doing. Instead of trying doing that you should focus on the coming event. Such as Early access sales campaigns it will be boosted traffic Not Christmas decorations in October.”
“We celebrated a big anniversary at Pai and WOW - they made it extra special. We did the four course menu with wine pairings. The service was top notch. The food was inspired, creative, delicious, and locally sourced. Though the portions of each dish looked small, it was more than enough food and so delicious you wanted to eat every bite! The wine pairings were spot on, absolutely perfect with our chosen courses. The space has such a lovely vibe - clean and modern, but comfortable and well appointed. There really isn't another dining experience quite like this on the island. Justine and Kevin have created such a beautiful place with incredible food and service. Pai is definitely a must-try restaurant. We will definitely be back.”
“Came in around 7pm today didn’t know what to expect and everything was just great the seasoning of the fried cat fish and the mac n cheese. I haven’t eaten southern food in about 8 or 5 years this definitely hit the spot for the price it was a sure surprise and worth it. Gonna continue to come for more and try more food on the menu.”
“My all itme favirite restaurant. Excellent food and service. Reknown for their chirashi.”

“Their sushi cake exceeded our expectations. It was so delicious and almost too pretty to eat! The 2 guys working when I picked up were awesome! Super friendly and one even took the time to show me the cake and gave tips on how to cut and eat it! Their customer service from ordering to pick up was exceptional!”
“Nanding’s Bakery is delicious and has the sweetest service. I walked in a few minutes before closed (I just wanted to see! Sorry). I was happily greeted by a gentleman and he was so nice! I purchased an ube Enymada- sweet bread filled with ube and it was soooooo delicious! Reasonable pricing as well!”
“Yummy options, from local ahi poke to salmon and octopus. Good selection of toppings.. friendly staff.. in a prime location. Decent price for Waiki, more expensive than similar poke places in Manhattan so don't expect cheap. Regular, which is large portion is large.”
“An extremely enjoyable experience. Each dish was very well thought out, and meticulously prepared. We were educated about the various ingredients and the freshness of the procured seafood.”

“Fantastic food, delicious drinks, and the most welcoming staff. Everything our group of 6 ordered was outstanding and we all said we couldn’t wait to come back again. Highly recommend!”
“We loved both the food and the wine and the service. The place is gorgeous too. We had a wonderful time.”
“Food is ALWAYS delicious and the staff is so kind and attentive! Katsu-san creates the most beautiful sashimi platters and omakase sushi!”
“Amazing food and atmosphere every time. I highly recommend this restaurant”

“We just got our order and finished the waffles. I have celiac and I was scared I misread the menu from how good the waffles were. Extremely good food and customer service, we will definitely be back! And it’s always nice to support local businesses in hawaii”
“Very comfortable atmosphere and great food. The honey toast is definitely for those who want a challenge (or you can be smart and split it haha). Chastiny was a great host and helped answer any questions we had.”

“so good!!!!! best lobster roll strongly recommended first time trying and i really like it”
“Amazing dinner and friendly staff from bar to dining room! Our must every time we visit Oahu!”
“Simple, shareable, strongly spiced food, reasonably priced but will make you want to drink. Cozy, maybe 10 tables total. Bonus points for being open late but that will mean rowdy tables. Party room next door overwhelms the ambiance with skull-numbing, throbbing bass. Limited parking.”
“This is by far the best place to eat in Waikiki. Food was absolutely phenomenal. Our waiter, Luke was great and very attentive to our needs. We will definitely be back.”
“The sushi you can experience at Amaterasu is beautiful, respectful of tradition, and above all, superbly delicious. Temperature, texture, carefully aged sakana, and the impeccable rice all plays towards a sublime dining experience. I find it rare to encounter such a strong bond with all elements of a dining experience. The chef, attentive staff, and conversation makes the omakase experience truly memorable. When was the last time you might have felt that way? There are many choices for sushi in Honolulu, and you might have a favorite. Might I persuade you to indulge here? I hope so. You may have to forego dining out for a bit, but if you love sushi like I love sushi, this is the perfect place.”
“I’ve been here multiple times with my family and it’s always been a great experience. Tasty drink drinks great service and good music and vibes plus EP are my initials lol. Not much seating so if it’s a Friday or the weekend, I’d make reservation reservations.”
“The Tomahawk steak is outstanding. No need to ruin it with A1 sauce. The stuffed chicken breast was not dry, so tasty. Everything is ala carte but totally worth it. Would go again”

“We were fortunate to grab seats at the bar before a show at the Blaisdell. Beautiful atmosphere, very attentive server/bartender (Kalei), amazing food options and lovely hand mixed cocktails. We were pleasantly surprised and will return!”
“Definitely the Hawaiian Eggs Benedict with toast, the fried ice cream. the tarot pina colada, etc... you will not be disappointed with anything you order. Also, don't get me started with the service. Plz ask for Jessica. That girl deserves a raise or a promotion.”
“Authentic Japanese food! It was great to be able to have it while vacationing in Hawaii. Brought back so many memories of living in Japan!”
“Best garlic shrimp I’ve ever had! I’ve been to 15+ eateries ordering the same dish on the mainland and the Hawaiian islands. The guava fried chicken and Lilikoi Pie were epic too! ”
“Nori Bar was really good. The seafood tasted fresh and high quality, and you can definitely tell they care about what they serve. The service was quick and fast, which made the whole experience even better. I’ll definitely be coming back!”
“Fabulous Food and wonderful staff !! Wine list is also terrific!!”
“Pizza bardzo smaczna, dosyć szybko dostaliśmy jedzenie, bardzo miła pani z obsługi cały czas pytała czy wszystko w porządku i dolewała za darmo wody z lodem”

We did $150 and were satiated, leaving full but not stuffed. The menu was interesting and unique, making dinner feel special.
I can't recommend this restaurant highly enough if you're looking for a unique experience - and want to get out of the touristy side of Waikiki.”
“Best place on island to enjoy spicy items if you’re looking for spicy food.
Of course the food here is great, you can ask for no spice.
We enjoy all the dishes, Get: beef noodle soup, pork sauce noodles, spicy eggplant and the best popcorn chicken number 5! ( only try number 5 if you love the heat )
Shout out to Brian, his parents and the entire crew.”
“Super nettes freundliches aufmerksames Personal Thank you Danielle T ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Das Frühstück war sehr lecker Die Preise voll in Ordnung Sterne ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Weiterzuempfehlen LG Dörte”
“Pizza was really good. Very thin crust. San Marzano tomatoes sauce, perfect. Fresh toppings, just the right amount. House pulled fresh mozzarella. Need to find a more authentic Ceasar dressing recipe. Our salad was bland. We will definitely go back.”
“I ordered the Beet Salad. It was delicious. The alcoholic drinks were too sweet for my taste. Had the Kona Mule and a Whiskey Sour. Friends had Mocktails that they enjoyed.”
“There's not enough space to right the good things about this place. As soon as you walk in, you are greeted and acknowledged by everyone, including the sushi chefs. Water and drink order is perfectly timed. Whether you order teishoku complete meals or sushi, the flavor and and portions are spot on. If you choose to sit at the sushi counter, the spread is just amazing. From white fish, tuna, to shellfish and sometimes even a fruit or plant to cleanse the pallet. I would recommend reservations as this place is always busy. Takeout is also very good!”
“Literally the best chicken, rice, salad, and mac salad I’ve ever had in my entire life, I even got to try kimchi for the first time. If i had to eat something everyday for the rest of my life it would be this and I would still look forward to it. Absolutely no complaints about anything food wise and the guy taking the orders was so nice and friendly.”
“Amazing experience! Great food and even better service! It was our first time here and we just walked in. Even without a reservation, Randy and the rest of the Mikiya Team really went above and beyond in terms of customer service! It is all you can eat Shabu Shabu and there are different tiers. Higher tiers give you more options such as A5 wagyu and can even be unlimited depending on the tier. We got the silver tier and it came with American and Australian Wagyu. Don’t skip out on the fried mini bun, you will regret not getting it! We will definitely come back here again! If dining with a big group of people, make a reservation. Also, they validate parking. Just be sure to show the host at the front, and do not end your parking time or else you will not be able to validate it.”
“Always a classic and still one of the best traditional Omakase experiences you can get anywhere. Only 8 seats, but we got them to squeeze one more on the end. Mahalos for another great night Sushi Sho!”
“Looking for great sushi in Waikiki? Furusato can fulfill that need. If you sit at the sushi bar, you can watch the chefs prepare everything right in front of you.
The food was excellent. I ordered the Diamond Head Roll and Toro Nigiri and enjoyed a glass of plum wine. The atmosphere is chill and quaint, though the space is small and fills up quickly. Service was attentive as well, definitely a must-try if you’re in Waikiki.”
“Our first authentic shave ice and it blew away our expectations! Delicious, fresh, and the best sweet treat!”
“This was my second visit to Arden in less than a month. I was really impressed with the food and service on my first visit and equally so on my most recent dining experience. Jayden, our server, was excellent! She was very courteous and attentive while also making some great suggestions on their wine offerings. I highly recommend Arden and will definitely be back!”
“I love this spot! Live music daily. Great service, especially the bartenders! Everyone was happy and seemed like they loved working there. I went there almost daily due to how friendly the bartenders were! Highly recommended! Great food and drinks as well!”
“This is a great Irish pub on a busy corner in Oahu. The staff was attentive even with the crowd growing at 5pm on a Friday. The food was excellent and the two Snakebites that I ordered were on point. I recommend this place to anyone looking for a lively time at the bar and some delicious corned beef and cabbage anytime of the year.”
“Since, I first tried Indian Food I fell in love with it awesome dishes Taste of unquine Dishes. All Vegetarian dishes and non vegetarian like Lamb, chicken and fish. People are so kind and welcome 🙏.”
“We had two fantastic meals here during our time in Hawaii! Looking forward to coming again!”
“I am foodie from Japan, enjoy once or twice a month hotel buffet in Tokyo. But Orchids Sunday branch menu was the best ever. Not only does it taste good, but it also tastes good, fine scenery, number and placement of staff and their diligence noteworthy.”
“Dear Reader,
What OUTSTANDING cuisine, the best in Honolulu.
How do I know that?
We spent 4 nights of our vacation and invested $1800 in 4 Japanese culinary experiences, each of which we were told by fellow reviewers and professional critics were the best (see list attached).
Out of my 500 OpenTable & Resy dining experiences in the last 4 years, this restaurant was in the top 10 WORLDWIDE and the best Japanese cuisine in all 50 states.
Our favorites were California Rolls with snow crab and all the tempuras.
Prices were the most reasonable of all Honolulu restaurants in this category!

“Absolutely our best meal in Hawaii. The right choice to celebrate a special occasion. Our experience was so wonderful, food, wine, atmosphere all made for the best evening. Our server, Julian was absolutely top notch, extremely friendly, attentive, and was just so happy to engage ensuring the celebration was more than we expected. Kudos he deserves it. Highly recommend this place. Will definitely be back.”
“Best Steak House on the West Coast! If you stop in for dinner say hi to bro-in-law Matt! He's got great stories! just don't mention my name cause then the stories will be fiercely funny 🤣”
“Just the best food, staff. Always happy. Always tasty dishes. Their wine dinners are fun. Salmon’s always perfect. A gnocchi & beef dish was especially tasty.”
“Went there for my wife's birthday with 8 others and was surprised to get a (the only) private room that accommodated us perfectly. I got the vongole and the carbonara. The vongole tasted as though it was pulled freshly from the sea: salty perfection. The carbonara with the Portobello fritto was a little heavy but the flavors of all the ingredients melded together beautifully and created a richness in my mouth like no other pasta dish I've ever had. The service was perfect. Being isolated in the private room, we were given a button we could push to call for the wait help. They responded almost instantly in spite of having a full house. There is a very large wine list that has been obviously critically selected. We had the best bottle of Pinot Gris that I have ever had and for a sensible price. Take your honey there and impress her.”
“We Had the best experience with Marky she is so uplifting very personable love that she is who she is absolutely amazing ty for a special great time love you all”
“They open late, even on Sunday nights, and close at midnight, which is amazing for late-night eats in Waikiki. It is directly across from the Alohilani Hotel and operates out of a food truck, kind of like a permanent food truck. The most popular item is the Pineapple Teriyaki burger $25. The girl working here is super friendly and super nice.”

“OMG! The Hauoli Pastry Poi Mochisada is DA BOMB! Light & airy, slightly crispy outside. If I had known it was going to be this good, I would have bought 2 dozen. If you only buying for yourself, MAYBE 6 is enough, but I'm a big boy so a dozen would have been perfect for me. We discovered them at the Night Market at the Royal Hawaiian Golf Club and I'm so glad we did. If I ever see them elsewhere, I'm definitely buying again. Otherwise, I will have to wait for the next Night Market, but I won't make the same mistake as tonight, so gonna leave with 2 dozen!”
“We visited Aina Steak and Seafood over the Christmas holidays and were a little bit late for our reservations. Luckily, the friendly staff still saved a table for us by the open kitchen. The kitchen and the entire restaurant, including the bathrooms, were very clean. The restaurant had a different vibe from other steakhouses on the island which was very refreshing. The friendly waitress took our drink orders and gave us an overview of some of the recommendations and specials. Our waitress was very attentive and always had a smile on her face. She checked on us multiple times throughout our dining experience. We ordered: Appetizer: Oyster platter, salad (came with the steak) Sides: Truffle mashed potatoes, mushroom medley Entrees: Prime ribeye, lamb rack Dessert: Creme brulee, cheesecake The apps were fresh and delicious. The protein entrees came with these special salts and wasabi on the side. It complimented the meat well. The ribeye was just mediocre but the lamb was some of the best I have ever tasted on this island. The sides were portioned well and very tasty. Desserts was just what you would expect to end the meal with. Overall the food was very good. Now this is where the night was sort of ruined. As we were seated near the kitchen, we could overhear the cook/manager/owner(?) berating his service staff very loudly and in earshot of us customers. We were not eavesdropping, but he was so loud that we could see that this was legitimate borderline verbal abuse. I felt sorry for the female staffers that had to endure his unprofessional outbursts in the workplace. I say this as someone who has worked in every position of the restaurant field. As a manager, I have never yelled at any of my staff ever, because you as the leader must show leadership. How do you expect to manage or control your environment when you cannot control your own temper? As a waiter, I would never tolerate an authoritarian manager. I would quit right on the spot. As HR, you might have a lawsuit on your hands if you were to abuse your workers. I loved the food, but I would only come back again if another cook or manager was working instead of this man. I cannot support a business that mistreats its workers, no matter how good the food is.”
“I and a couple of other retirees discovered Pur Sina when they opened and have been weekly customers ever since. Their small kitchen limits the menu choices, but what they offer is tasty and reasonably priced. The pleasant customer-oriented staff has made it serve as a home away from home for us, and we have always felt welcomed. If/when they leave, they will be sorely missed.”
“If you have never tried 'Namaste Indian & Nepalese Cuisine' in Honolulu - you should have no hesitation whatsoever about ordering from here - it's 12/10 delicious! I had it for the first time tonight - hands down one of the best meals I've ever had! Lamb Masala & the Rogan Josh lamb dish was phenomenal. Naan was freshly made. Meat was SO tender. You definitely can tell that the ingredients are high quality with health benefits & cooked with a lotta love. I regret not ordering more (especially the mango lassi mmm...) I honestly could eat from here everyday & not feel guilty. This is the type of food that will heal you from the inside out lol. Fresh - healthy REAL food - tons of amazing flavors - warms the soul! Just added to my Top 5 favorites on Oahu! Go order now!!”

“We ate at Hula tonight for the first time and Levin took care of us! He went above and beyond and made the experience for myself, my mom and daughter absolutely wonderful. His suggestions for entrees were on point and his customer service was the best we had since arriving on the island! Thank you so much!”
“Our dining experience at Morimoto Asia in Waikiki, Hawaii was exceptional! The appetizers like ribs and pork gyoza were fantastic, and the dinner choices, including fried rice, orange chicken, and the Miyazaki Wagyu certified grade 5 beef, were simply out of this world. To top it off, we enjoyed a birthday celebration with delicious doughnuts and ice cream with a beautiful chocolate decorative piece. Highly recommend for a memorable dining experience! Plus: the service was amazing!”
“We went to the Super Bowl watch party and it was amazing. The servers were spot on, and the food was delicious. It was a really good value for what we got. The only thing I might change is to have closed captions on the monitors because it was hard sometimes to hear what was going on in the Super Bowl. The crowd got a little feisty.”
“First of all, this is not our first visit here for me and my husband. But this time we had our 2 kids with us. We walked in on a Father’s Day weekend on a Saturday, expecting no tables for a family of 4. They were able to sit us by the bar. And it was amazing, the food is great we had the MEGAHAWK, oysters, thick-cut bacon, keiki steak plate and very refreshing watermelon sorbet. Willian and Brian were friendly and superb with their service. As always we will be back again soon. THE STEAK IS NOT A MISTAKE ON THIS ONE!!! 👍🏼💯✅- R.C.”
“While visiting Hawaii my wife and I decided to try this place based on all the previous suggestions and the views. Upon walking in we were immediately greeted and told us it would be a short wait and it was. The decor was beautiful and there was a live musician playing the acoustic guitar on the side which gave the place a very relaxing vibe. We were lucky enough to get a balcony table. I’d suggest this so you can have a spectacular view of the ocean and the sunset. My wife and enjoyed the warm bread brought to the table served with this delicious strawberry butter. It wasn’t very heavy either. The drinks were really good as well. Our server (actually all of them) Tony was extremely good. He came and checked on us and made sure everything was good with us. When I go back I will definitely look for him. If you’re interested in something relaxing with a classy vibe. I recommend this place.”

“Fantastic service., far exceeding my expectations. They made a delivery to my father and, when I was worried it wouldn't be picked up they even went back to check on it for me! Amazing”
“If your in Hawaii in Oahu and looking for phenomenal coffee and ambiance Drip Studio is the place for pour over and espresso drinks. Food looks amazing as well. Kengi & Maddy are amazing they treated us with great hospitality and we enjoyed chatting with them about all the different coffees.”

“I received the Go Miso Ramen on Tuesday. The ramen broth was rich, but didn’t have much depth in taste. I wasn’t sure what the black stuff on top was, but it appeared to be bamboo. The star of this dish was the taste of the ground pork. It tasted similar to wonton ground pork. The egg was slightly under my desired consistency. Overall, this ramen is a good, solid dish even if it’s not what I’d desire to eat on a typical basis for ramen.”
“Excellent paitan ramen (rich chicken broth) and made-to-order homemade gyoza with an eclectic interior (guest drawings on the walls + anime on the projector screen).
Got the Paitan red ramen. Super flavourful and umami bomb broth. Nicely tender pork slices, and well-prepared onsen tamago.
Got the pesto gyoza per our server’s recommendation. Nice bouncy texture on the skin, good garlic flavoured filling, and nice pesto flavour on the sauce with shaved parm on top.
Umeshu black super nice and refreshing drink.
Jellyfish with wood ear and cucum was fantastic. Slight kick from the chili pepper. Hidden gem side dish.
Very friendly staff and helpful.
Worth a visit. Should’ve tried the Taki Gyoza (10 gyoza in paitan broth) but wasn’t super hungry.”
“We tried the Tres Leches and the Dubai Chocolate Brownie cookies. The Tres Leches was just okay to be honest. My friends hyped it up as one of the best, but I found the cake a bit dry, most of the moisture seemed to come from the leches it was soaked in, and the cake itself was a little crumbly.
The Dubai Chocolate Brownie, on the other hand, was amazing! Definitely one of my favorites from Crumbl so far. The flavor was rich and chocolatey, though extremely sweet. I could only finish it over about four sittings if eating it by myself. Still, the taste was great. I just wish it was a tad less sweet.
The staff were really nice and welcoming when we came in and kind when they brought our order out. Overall, a good experience with one hit and one miss.”
“Took a minute to find this place on the 2nd floor in back of the Japanese store. Wife and I both got ramens and were satisfied but not overly impressed. Broth tasted manufactured rather than store-made. I’d eat here again if I was around and hungry, but would go there again specially to eat the ramen.”
“We celebrated my fiancé's birthday here, and it was truly one of the best dining experiences we've ever had. From start to finish, everything was exceptional. A special thank you to Kazu for making the night extra special — we truly appreciate it. We'll definitely be coming back! ✨”
“We had the squid and beef stir fry and the galbi. If it was socially acceptable to lick the plates, we would have. The meat was so tender and flavorful, each bite better than the last. However, what made it an overall excellent dining experience was the care and warmth of Pia and the staff. We will definitely return!”
