“I am a Miami to Alaska transplant and seek out great Cuban food and cafe’ whenever I travel. Castro’s is the real deal!! The Cuban Cafe’ is spot on and the French Toast with the Rum Sauce is off the charts!! Enough food to feed two! The owner is friendly & engaging as is the staff. Stop in, grab a Cafe’ and chill on the sidewalk seating while your breakfast is created..I say created because it is a true work of art…at least in my professional opinion.”
“What a great burger!! We were so lucky to find them, they’re in almost hidden spot. The order their arugula burger, but I added mushroom to it, it was unreal.
The amount of meat that you get is so good. She was even mindful of my pregnancy, and though I forgot to tell her go for fully cooked she came out and asked me how I would like the Patty to be cooked.”

“Absolutely excellent. Wonderful meal, friendly and professional service, entirely a delight!
A second meal with friends a month later was equally amazing and delicious. Terrific!”
“The food, wine, service, and atmosphere are amazing. I dine here every 2 months and I am always very impressed. Thank you for your continued excellence!”
“I am foodie from Japan, enjoy once or twice a month hotel buffet in Tokyo. But Orchids Sunday branch menu was the best ever. Not only does it taste good, but it also tastes good, fine scenery, number and placement of staff and their diligence noteworthy.”

“Sunny’s was an awesome find for breakfast. The servers are so nice and the food was awesome. I had the avocado toast - so good. Lots of variety and healthy meals. I would highly recommend this spot.”
“Wood fired oven vegan pizzeria!! Lots of choices and they have specials too. Paid parking available on adjacent street. Indoor and outdoor seating. Lovely patio where you can watch your pizza being cooked! Food was delicious and I loved the cannoli! Highly recommend coming here😄 Updated from previous review on 2026-04-06”
“I have visited the Haleiwa location multiple times and it just hits the spot for unique gelato flavors! I also highly recommend any of the crepes ... and of course, the Ube Mochi waffle!!! Staff friendly and attentive and the place is kept very clean. Definitely worth a stop if you need to pick up a pint of gelato for a family dinner too. ;)”
“I love their vegetarian stir fry! I have to limit my sodium intake, and this dish gives me the flavor I need without a lot of salt.”
“Tempura Kiki was an amazing gem in Waikiki - the tempura was all cooked to order and presented with utmost precision and care. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive and couldn’t have been better. Such delicious foods and great people. I’d highly recommend coming here!”
“We ordered multiple dishes, started with zucchini tots, and had smoked ahi cigars, scallops, bone marrow, etc. All taste just right. Not plain at all. It is balanced and cooked thoroughly. The cocktails are really good, too. They must have great bartenders. The Freddie, the 007, and Dressed for success. Try.
We didn't try any large dishes, so no comments on that.
Glad to find a favorite restaurant. The servers are informative and nice, too.
We had a really good time. Very Satisfied.”

“🍽️ Bara chirashi (x2) for takeout
💵 $80
Fantastic bara chirashi using freshest of quality seafood (includes uni, toro, ikura, tamago, octopus, mackerel, and more), cooked with authentic Japanese methods and the restaurant’s unique twist on the dish.
Beyond excellent for the price and a must-have if you are a sushi lover in Waikiki. One box is a perfect amount for one diner.
Note that this must be booked several days if not weeks in advance (can be checked through their booking platform). Pick up is strictly at 4:30pm at the Sushi Sho storefront inside the Ritz-Carlton. Food is recommended to be consumed within the same day.”
“I was visiting Honolulu from Wisconsin, and this food truck ended up being one of the best surprises of the whole trip. I’ll be honest the walk to it looks a little sketchy at first since you head down this small alley, but don’t let that fool you. Once you get back there, it’s a whole different story. The customer service was awesome super friendly, super welcoming. And the food? Straight-up 10/10. The loaded barbecue fries were insane, packed with flavor and totally worth every bite. The burgers were just as amazing, juicy and cooked perfectly. Everything we tried was out of this world. If you’re in Honolulu, don’t sleep on this place. I’d come back in a heartbeat.”

“We RAN to Waffle and Berry after the zoo. We showed up 15 minutes before closed and they were quick to calm us. As long as we ordered by 2 minutes before close, we would be served. And then they showed up with a snack plate for our toddler. He absolutely loved it!! We absolutely loved our dessert. Crispy, warm waffle. Sweet ice cream and berries. Unbelievably welcoming environment.”
“Found this place near closing and they still politely sat and served us with great attitudes. The attention to detail was amazing and the Japan and Mai Tai beverages were fantastic.
Reservations recommended I hear they get busy.”
“My favorite panang curry on island! Attentive staff and fun atmosphere.”
“From the warm greeting everyone receives when walking through the door to the attentive and super friendly service, this place is amazing! The sushi was outstanding… hands down the best sushi I’ve ever had! The texture, taste and presentation was top notch. Wish there was a location on the east coast!”

“I visited Arden Waikiki and it felt noticeably different from many of the restaurants along Kalākaua Avenue. While Waikiki has plenty of casual dining spots, Arden offers a more refined and modern dining experience that focuses heavily on presentation and thoughtful preparation.
The restaurant has a contemporary interior design that feels clean, elegant, and relaxed at the same time. The lighting and layout create a comfortable atmosphere that works well for a longer dinner experience rather than a quick meal.
The menu emphasizes carefully prepared dishes that highlight high-quality ingredients and balanced flavors. Each plate feels thoughtfully composed, with attention given not only to taste but also to visual presentation. The dishes reflect a modern approach to dining where technique and creativity play an important role.
What stood out to me most was the overall pacing of the meal. The kitchen clearly focuses on delivering courses in a way that allows diners to appreciate each dish rather than rushing through the experience. It creates a more intentional dining atmosphere compared to many of the fast-paced restaurants in Waikiki.
Service during the visit was professional and attentive. Staff were knowledgeable about the menu and maintained a smooth flow throughout the meal.
Overall, Arden Waikiki offers a more elevated dining experience in an area that is often dominated by casual restaurants. If you are looking for a modern restaurant in Waikiki that focuses on quality ingredients, presentation, and attentive service, this is definitely a place worth visiting.”
“We celebrated a big anniversary at Pai and WOW - they made it extra special. We did the four course menu with wine pairings. The service was top notch. The food was inspired, creative, delicious, and locally sourced. Though the portions of each dish looked small, it was more than enough food and so delicious you wanted to eat every bite! The wine pairings were spot on, absolutely perfect with our chosen courses. The space has such a lovely vibe - clean and modern, but comfortable and well appointed. There really isn't another dining experience quite like this on the island. Justine and Kevin have created such a beautiful place with incredible food and service. Pai is definitely a must-try restaurant. We will definitely be back.”

“This is the ultimate Hidden Gem of Honolulu! You can find me on the dance floor whenever they have DJs on weekends. Perfect place to chill and take your date for an intimate and quiet time. As quiet as a bar can be I suppose. Must visit for your bachelorette party or post wedding celebration! Bianca and the staff are very warm and very professional ♥️”
“Delicious, inventive, fun, intimate and so enjoyable. We did the 150 omakase. We were really full at the end. No bad dishes at all and some really were delicious. Yes it was a little difficult to find the restaurant after parking and no we didn't see any flying bugs that a few other guests mentioned. We had an amazing time.”
“Absolutely one of the best dinners my boyfriend and I have ever had in our lives. We travel and love experiencing good food, this was beyond that. This exceeds 5 stars and is a must try. Maki is an amazing server. What a pleasure you all were. Thank you so much. MAHALO”

“We LOVEEEEE Egghead Cafe!!! Every time we come in they are so friendly, welcoming of my little ones, and quick! I've never had anything bad. Their coffee is delicious, my favorite is Tiramisu Latte! Definitely visit, it will be worth it!”

24 Hour Restaurants
“If you're hungry and want to satisfy some local comfort cravings, stop by Diner's by Upscale Hawaii in Kalihi. The food is so good and tender, portions are big and definitely worth the price. I love thet they open 24hrs.
I do wish they improve the customer service. Also the waiting is long.”
“Great service and awesome workers. This mc.donalds was extremely busy, i went inside because i thought the drive through would take to long and they still got my order out fast and efficiently and the workers were still happy despite working so hard so early in the morning 😁”
“There needs to be a variety of McDonald's we can choose from in the area for delivery. Kaimuki takes advantage of the monopoly by the rate they mess up the orders. They don't care because they're the only McDonald's used for to long a radius. Like they just throw anything into a bag before they hand it to a Dasher till it feels a bit filled up. Apparently it was Bacon Day and I didn't know. Everything was taken over by bacon in our bag, I guess they ran out of other breakfast meats. I detest bacon. so my son walked away with a double breakfast while I walked away once again with nothing. I really enjoy walking away with no breakfast Kaimuki McDonald's. Thanks a mill.”
“Tonight (Monday, April 13, 2026 at around 10pm) I had a horrible experience with the lady in drive thru. This is the second time I've dealt with her and both times, she was not nice. I always order on the app. The app doesnt have the option to get Coke Zero, so I order it as Diet Coke, and when I get to Jack in the box, I tell them to change it to Coke Zero. I've never had a problem when I go to the same location during the day time or any other location... but this lady, always tells me that its too late to change my drink because she already made it. How early did she make my drink? Why couldn't she just dump the diet soda and use the same cup to put Coke zero. She said I should've ordered it on the app as Coke Zero because other people order it. She was arguing with me. She has really bad customer service. She is the reason why I wont go back to this location. Or ill just go during the day, where they dont make the drinks until I get to the window. That lady is horrible. No wonder there was no line tonight. Maybe everyone knows how she is. She needs to work on her customer service or be fired. She will bring down that restaurant with her attitude.”

Takeout Restaurants
“Good not great, matcha is pretty solid quality but the hojicha is just okay. It feels like more of an afterthought as it’s the less popular of the two. I do think the desserts are something I’d like to come back for though. I hope they source a better hojicha powder in the future for their lattes. Plenty of seating as well.”
“Tempura Kiki was an amazing gem in Waikiki - the tempura was all cooked to order and presented with utmost precision and care. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive and couldn’t have been better. Such delicious foods and great people. I’d highly recommend coming here!”
“This place was recommended by a foodie friend of mine so I expected it to be good, but no, good doesn’t do it justice. The oat milk latte was glorious and the mango scone delicate, very lightly sweet and the perfect accompaniment to the latte. Service was friendly and helpful.”
“The Best Rockstar place on Oahu!”
“One of the best culinary experiences I’ve had in such a long time. The tasting dish was so full of life and made with such care. Everything was delicious.
Even though we were 20 mins late to our resy, chef Aung was so gracious and welcomed us anyways. The vibes, the music, and the fact that we all were just hanging out made the experience something unforgettable.”
“Hands down the best sushi place I have ever been too! From the beginning we walked in with my family. We were greeted with a huge smile and got seated in a private booth. The service, the staff and atmosphere there is really nice and kid friendly! After we payed our meal. The host/server gave my son a free toy. Thank you so much for not rushing him because he couldn’t decide what to pick. We had a great time here and we can’t wait to be back again!!”
Drive-Thru Restaurants
“This has been our go to brunch spot for the last several years. The food is amazing - the Oscar Benedict (crab/corned beef) is one of our favorites! The coffee w/cookies and especially having the milk/cream warmed is the perfect way to start the day. The peaceful atmosphere with its view of the blue ocean and Fort DeRussy park makes this a truly special place. Most of all, the staff is amazing… Summer, Feliciana, Chris, everyone! They have truly imbued the spirit of Aloha.”
“Was craving a late night bite and stumbled on this smash burger food stand and wowow one of the best burgers I’ve ever had! (I’ve had everything from McDonalds, In and Out, Five Guys, Shake Shack, Dick’s Burgers, you name it!)
Guys working there were super friendly and accommodating, wait for food was less than 5 mins. 10/10, highly recommend, no other notes”

“Their sushi cake exceeded our expectations. It was so delicious and almost too pretty to eat! The 2 guys working when I picked up were awesome! Super friendly and one even took the time to show me the cake and gave tips on how to cut and eat it! Their customer service from ordering to pick up was exceptional!”
“Incredible flavor & huge portions! I had the Garlic Parmesan Crusted Ahi over brown rice. I’ll absolutely be back!”
Fine Dining
“We did delivery, they have a limited menu on DoorDash. It was really delicious, exceeded my expectations! The wasabi was really premium, the chirashi bowl had lots of flavor and a good portion size, and the salmon is so creamy. We especially liked the tamago and roe. Wonderful flavors!”
“The overall experience and vibe at the sushi counter is excellent here - highly recommend going for that specifically. I got a walk-in spot when they opened, but since it's a fairly small space, it's probably best to make a reservation.
I like the way they do omakase here - your nigiri comes out one piece at a time until you say stop, whether that's only a handful of pieces along with other stuff you order, or a large course.
Bearing in mind that this is more of a casual-ish spot it's not going to be the fanciest preparations, but generally good and quality fish. Great variety of what they have on hand; definitely significantly above and beyond what you'd typically find back on the mainland! Variety goes a long way toward a good experience.
Easily recommended.”
“Hihimanu Sushi is hands down one of the most unique and memorable dining experiences on Oahu. Chef Ray’s omakase is absolutely incredible — every course feels like a work of art. The fish is unbelievably fresh, and you can truly taste the quality in every bite.
What makes this place so special is that Chef Ray’s menu changes based on the freshest ingredients available and the season, which makes every visit a completely new experience. His creativity and attention to detail really shine through in each dish.
If you appreciate true omakase and want to experience sushi at the highest level, Hihimanu Sushi is a must. The atmosphere is intimate, the quality is outstanding, and Chef Ray’s passion for his craft is evident in every creation.”
“I walked passing the center this morning what I found. They start putting up Christmas decorations in the beginning of October.. are you kidding me? It won’t help your sales if you looking for that goal. It would make many people though you are crazy. I am not sure the marketing or what so ever department does not knows well what exactly what is they doing. Instead of trying doing that you should focus on the coming event. Such as Early access sales campaigns it will be boosted traffic Not Christmas decorations in October.”
“I have been coming to Oahu for more than 15 years, and this was my first visit to Original Roy's. The location was excellent, easy to find, and provided a welcoming atmosphere from the moment we arrived. The staff treated us like family and made us feel genuinely appreciated as guests. The wait staff was personable, knowledgeable, and attentive throughout the evening. They struck the perfect balance between providing excellent service and allowing us to enjoy our meal without feeling rushed or pressured to move on, which is increasingly rare in many restaurants today. They offered several recommendations and shared their personal favorites from both the seafood and meat selections. The only challenge was deciding what to order because every recommendation sounded outstanding and depended entirely on what you were in the mood for that evening. The desserts were exceptional. Both were served warm, required approximately 20–25 minutes to prepare, and were absolutely worth the wait. They provided the perfect ending to an outstanding dining experience. The overall experience reminded me of Jamison's on the North Shore before it closed several years ago. That restaurant was known for its upscale service and welcoming atmosphere, qualities that Original Roy's clearly continues to provide. Overall, this was an excellent dining experience, and I will definitely be returning to try another one of the seafood specialties that were recommended to us.”
“We've been island hopping during our time in Hawaii, and this has proven to be our favorite sushi spot so far!
We ordered the Phoenix, Kaiser Futomaki, and Sushi Spot signature rolls. Hands down all top tier rolls, you won't be disappointed by any of them. And dont count out the hot cheeto dust on the sushi spot signature roll, it actually works really well!”
“The lactose free and gluten free options were great for my partner! We both really enjoyed our food - however, the cost did feel a bit steep considering the content of the dish. Was tasty and enjoyed it overall!”
Cheap Eats
“The owner was super nice and explained how everything is made in-house and which are popular. The lychee and strawberry+salty lemon are super delicious, full of fresh fruit, not too sweet, and filling. Both go super well with a scoop of ice cream! Would definitely recommend!”
“Kimo is such a great guy. My Hawaii trip had taken a turn for the worst and I admittedly went to his beach bar to drink some sadness away. Ended up meeting tons of great people there including Kimo. On my last day in Hawaii he gave me a goody bag with some original Hawaiian treats and a nice calendar. I promised him a bottle of Canadian maple syrup next time I'm in Hawaii and I'm looking forward to sharing a drink with him again.
Beautiful views, delicious drinks for a great price, and perfect place to cross paths with some truly beautiful people inside and out.”
“Nanding’s Bakery Spanish rolls are a local classic—you’ll find them at almost every potluck or office party, and for good reason.
Soft, chewy, and buttery with that slightly sweet finish… they’re best when warm, and honestly, one piece is never enough. You always end up going back for more.
Stopped by the Kapahulu location—super convenient with easy parking, which makes quick pick-ups a breeze.”
“This is a cozy, cutely decorated place. The clientele many are studying on their devices, so it's a quiet place. The bottom line is the drinks are very good. My 9yr old nephew insisted on coming here, and seemed to know what to order. While playing chess in the place he revealed he and his mother have been coming here after their evening walks. The plain milk tea and the ube tea is really good. For me 25% sweet is perfect.
Prices are good. You can enjoy a nice drink in a comfortable setting or take out. Open until 10pm!”
“My husband was in search of some good fish in Waikiki. We stumbled upon this place and decided to give it a try. I’m not a seafood person so I got the chicken pasta and he tried snapper for the first time. Both of us were blown away by how tasty everything was. The portions were huge too! Out of all the places we had been to during our trip, this place is at the top. Even as a non fish eater, I loved it! There can be a wait, but it is well worth it. Try it, you’ll love it.”
“Had such a great food experience. Everyone was friendly. For being complete outsiders, we were made to feel like family.”

“Kimchi fry rice is amazing and the poke is fire, definitely on my list of top grinds.”
“Our catered chicken and steak fajita meal was fabulous and very tasty. BEST Mexican food around! Thanks Raul and team!!! We will be back !!”
“The food was very good, wife love the ice cream on her French toast.”
“Superior classic burgers, great fries, friendly staff and wonderfully nostalgic setting. Highly recommend!!! 🙌🏼”
“The best High Tea we've had, including The Fairmont in a few key cities. Excellent!!”
“Came in around 7pm today didn’t know what to expect and everything was just great the seasoning of the fried cat fish and the mac n cheese. I haven’t eaten southern food in about 8 or 5 years this definitely hit the spot for the price it was a sure surprise and worth it. Gonna continue to come for more and try more food on the menu.”
“This is one of the world’s great restaurant. The food is amazing, the ambience is incredible and the wait staff is one of the most knowledgeable I have seen. The guest is treated like royalty. I highly recommend this restaurant”
“My all itme favirite restaurant. Excellent food and service. Reknown for their chirashi.”
“Yummy options, from local ahi poke to salmon and octopus. Good selection of toppings.. friendly staff.. in a prime location. Decent price for Waiki, more expensive than similar poke places in Manhattan so don't expect cheap. Regular, which is large portion is large.”

“We loved both the food and the wine and the service. The place is gorgeous too. We had a wonderful time.”
“Food is ALWAYS delicious and the staff is so kind and attentive! Katsu-san creates the most beautiful sashimi platters and omakase sushi!”
“Great selection of food and awesome atmosphere - wonderful flavors! Service was outstanding too. A must visit for authentic Vietnamese!”
“You will never be disappointed. The chef’s creativity in every dish shines through and is phenomenal every time. Makes me cry good tears! The best sushi on Oahu and a memorable, friendly atmosphere!”
“This place is small but stylish and beautifully decorated, from the star of a bar design to each and every cozy nook throughout. Now home of the best craft cocktails on Oahu and complimented with well thought out, mouth watering bites. I went with a friend for the grand opening evening and I would never have guessed it was a grand opening. The staff was friendly, seemed very at ease the whole night and the bartender was knowledgeable about the menu. We tried 5 or so different small bites and a couple various cocktails each from the menu and EVERY SINGLE item was delicious and crafted so beautifully we almost didn't want to eat or drink them (almost! 😋) Well done, Podmore!!”
“I highly recommend coming here - especially when Laura is working!! She is such a baddie💪 Highly attentive, VERY knowledgeable about their craft beer, and was super helpful/accommodating with food! We were there to watch a football game, and even though my team played horribly, I still had an amazing time, because of Laura’s hospitality and service❤️”
“Went here because of the positive ratings, and was not disappointed! It was my first time trying uni, and I've been missing out. The food was tasty and the service was fast and friendly. Will be back sometime!”
“Amazing food and atmosphere every time. I highly recommend this restaurant”
“This is an excellent place to enjoy the art of Japanese cuisine. We had an infant and toddler, yet they were very kind in every way. I highly recommend the special occasion eat out.”
“Very comfortable atmosphere and great food. The honey toast is definitely for those who want a challenge (or you can be smart and split it haha). Chastiny was a great host and helped answer any questions we had.”
“so good!!!!! best lobster roll strongly recommended first time trying and i really like it”
“Make sure you triple check your oder. Today we ate at the Honolulu Bistro for the first time. The guy at the register claims he didn't rung us up for 2 sandwiches. At checking out he did say back our order. The recipe is not detailed either. The amount we paid was definitely for 2 sandwiches. We ended up sharing 1 sandwich and left.”
“Simple, shareable, strongly spiced food, reasonably priced but will make you want to drink. Cozy, maybe 10 tables total. Bonus points for being open late but that will mean rowdy tables. Party room next door overwhelms the ambiance with skull-numbing, throbbing bass. Limited parking.”

“Amazing dinner and friendly staff from bar to dining room! Our must every time we visit Oahu!”
“I’ve been here multiple times with my family and it’s always been a great experience. Tasty drink drinks great service and good music and vibes plus EP are my initials lol. Not much seating so if it’s a Friday or the weekend, I’d make reservation reservations.”

“Food was genuinely fantastic. We are picky as we go out very frequently where we live in NYC, but everything we ate was excellent. Ahi tuna, ribs, butterfish, and ramen. Not a bad bite to be found! Cocktails excellent, Richard was great. Highly recommend!”
“We always enjoy coming here with the family. The atmosphere is comfortable and welcoming, making it an easy place to relax and enjoy a meal together. It’s also kid-friendly—especially if your kids already enjoy Japanese food—though it’s worth noting there isn’t a dedicated kids menu. Overall, it’s a spot we keep coming back to and consistently have a great experience.”
“The only thing I didn’t like were the metal chairs and the noise. Service, food, and even the wait time were incredible. (We didn’t make a reservation and they still got us in quickly.”
“The Tomahawk steak is outstanding. No need to ruin it with A1 sauce. The stuffed chicken breast was not dry, so tasty. Everything is ala carte but totally worth it. Would go again”
“Extraordinary experience at Rigo this week! For our one-day visit to Oahu and tour at Pearl Harbor, I dug deep into researching restaurants for dinner. I didn't want to be in a hotel (which dramatically reduced options). Since we love the food in Spain and Italy, I locked into Rigo. Best decision! Mickey expertly guided us through the menu and we loved every bite! Started off with a half order of jamon bellota (tip: get the full order) and patatas bravas. Shared the Australian lamb chops, the divine red king crab and jumbo shrimp paella, pizza Bismarck, crème brûlée, and chocolate cake. Wow! So good. The pizza was the best I've ever had in my life, same for the crème brûlée. Besides the wonderful service from Mickey (and truly every person at Rigo, including manager Jimmy) the decor, atmosphere, and the neighbors at the next table, made the evening unforgettable! My foodie daughter wasn't a fan of Honolulu until Rigo, now she's all in to visit again. Me too! Thanks, Rigo team!”
“Best garlic shrimp I’ve ever had! I’ve been to 15+ eateries ordering the same dish on the mainland and the Hawaiian islands. The guava fried chicken and Lilikoi Pie were epic too! ”
“Great food and service Felix is the best. Best food ive had in Hawaii and the portions are huge”
“Definitely the Hawaiian Eggs Benedict with toast, the fried ice cream. the tarot pina colada, etc... you will not be disappointed with anything you order. Also, don't get me started with the service. Plz ask for Jessica. That girl deserves a raise or a promotion.”
“Authentic Japanese food! It was great to be able to have it while vacationing in Hawaii. Brought back so many memories of living in Japan!”
“Came here recently and overall had a pretty solid experience. I’d give it a 4/5.
The portions are large, which is always a plus. The fried rice uses older rice so it’s nicely separated, but the flavor was just okay for me. I also tried the loco moco. The patty was a bit on the tougher side and lighter in flavor compared to other places, and overall it was a bit mid. It did have a strong mushroom taste, and the raw tomatoes and onions on top helped balance everything when you eat it together. The patty itself has a very beefy taste, if that makes sense.
The highlight for me was definitely the açaí bowl. It’s thick and slightly clumpy in a good way, almost like gelato. It comes with lots of fresh fruit, a drizzle of honey, and really good granola. Definitely the best thing on the menu.
Also worth noting, the place is mostly self serve. They ring you when your food is ready and you pick it up at the counter, and there’s a water station on the side. Bathrooms were clean too.”
“We were fortunate to grab seats at the bar before a show at the Blaisdell. Beautiful atmosphere, very attentive server/bartender (Kalei), amazing food options and lovely hand mixed cocktails. We were pleasantly surprised and will return!”
“What an exceptionally wonderful place for ambience, service and food. The staff were so friendly and attentive, our sever went above and beyond to be professional and friendly. The food - steak and salad with sides was excellent. The live music - guitarist/singer was also so good and created a wonderful atmosphere. Highly recommend this restaurant.”
“Bikini burger was a perfect fit after a long day of vacation. Fresh, hot juicy burger that comes with seasoned fries. We also got the salad and loved the toppings (pickle, tomato, dressing). Simple but delicious. The uniquely fried Oreos were a fun dessert. My son loved them.”
“There's not enough space to right the good things about this place. As soon as you walk in, you are greeted and acknowledged by everyone, including the sushi chefs. Water and drink order is perfectly timed. Whether you order teishoku complete meals or sushi, the flavor and and portions are spot on. If you choose to sit at the sushi counter, the spread is just amazing. From white fish, tuna, to shellfish and sometimes even a fruit or plant to cleanse the pallet. I would recommend reservations as this place is always busy. Takeout is also very good!”
“Great sushi just a quick walk away from the airport during a layover”
“Delicious, inventive, fun, intimate and so enjoyable. We did the 150 omakase. We were really full at the end. No bad dishes at all and some really were delicious. Yes it was a little difficult to find the restaurant after parking and no we didn't see any flying bugs that a few other guests mentioned. We had an amazing time.”
“Nori Bar was really good. The seafood tasted fresh and high quality, and you can definitely tell they care about what they serve. The service was quick and fast, which made the whole experience even better. I’ll definitely be coming back!”

“Our condo was right above steak shack so it was so convient for us, and to eat whilst watching the sun go down on the beach. superb location, the food is out of this world, so very very tasty, such a popular place. 🥰 10/10”
“I ordered from fresh catch and dined in the restaurant many times
It’s always so good!!! Always fresh always 10/10 and their service is amazing too
Love this place!!”
“Don’t skip this place for breakfast!!! This was our favorite breakfast on the island. I was a little worried that the specialty pancakes and waffles would be too sweet but they were actually perfectly balanced! The kimchi fried rice is also WORTH IT. All of our food was DELICIOUS. Our servers (Daniel and Isabel) were on top of it, friendly and helpful. Overall, this was a great experience and we will definitely be coming back every time we visit!”
“Really enjoyed this place.
The rooftop atmosphere is great and the food was better than expected. Lots of unique dishes and everything we tried was good.
Drinks were solid too, especially the Iichiko BLU cocktail.
Staff were friendly and made us feel welcome.
Would come back again.”
“Fabulous Food and wonderful staff !! Wine list is also terrific!!”
“I ordered the Beet Salad. It was delicious. The alcoholic drinks were too sweet for my taste. Had the Kona Mule and a Whiskey Sour. Friends had Mocktails that they enjoyed.”
“Pizza was really good. Very thin crust. San Marzano tomatoes sauce, perfect. Fresh toppings, just the right amount. House pulled fresh mozzarella. Need to find a more authentic Ceasar dressing recipe. Our salad was bland. We will definitely go back.”

“Absolutely our best meal in Hawaii. The right choice to celebrate a special occasion. Our experience was so wonderful, food, wine, atmosphere all made for the best evening. Our server, Julian was absolutely top notch, extremely friendly, attentive, and was just so happy to engage ensuring the celebration was more than we expected. Kudos he deserves it. Highly recommend this place. Will definitely be back.”
“OMG! The Hauoli Pastry Poi Mochisada is DA BOMB! Light & airy, slightly crispy outside. If I had known it was going to be this good, I would have bought 2 dozen. If you only buying for yourself, MAYBE 6 is enough, but I'm a big boy so a dozen would have been perfect for me. We discovered them at the Night Market at the Royal Hawaiian Golf Club and I'm so glad we did. If I ever see them elsewhere, I'm definitely buying again. Otherwise, I will have to wait for the next Night Market, but I won't make the same mistake as tonight, so gonna leave with 2 dozen!”
“We visited Aina Steak and Seafood over the Christmas holidays and were a little bit late for our reservations. Luckily, the friendly staff still saved a table for us by the open kitchen. The kitchen and the entire restaurant, including the bathrooms, were very clean. The restaurant had a different vibe from other steakhouses on the island which was very refreshing. The friendly waitress took our drink orders and gave us an overview of some of the recommendations and specials. Our waitress was very attentive and always had a smile on her face. She checked on us multiple times throughout our dining experience. We ordered: Appetizer: Oyster platter, salad (came with the steak) Sides: Truffle mashed potatoes, mushroom medley Entrees: Prime ribeye, lamb rack Dessert: Creme brulee, cheesecake The apps were fresh and delicious. The protein entrees came with these special salts and wasabi on the side. It complimented the meat well. The ribeye was just mediocre but the lamb was some of the best I have ever tasted on this island. The sides were portioned well and very tasty. Desserts was just what you would expect to end the meal with. Overall the food was very good. Now this is where the night was sort of ruined. As we were seated near the kitchen, we could overhear the cook/manager/owner(?) berating his service staff very loudly and in earshot of us customers. We were not eavesdropping, but he was so loud that we could see that this was legitimate borderline verbal abuse. I felt sorry for the female staffers that had to endure his unprofessional outbursts in the workplace. I say this as someone who has worked in every position of the restaurant field. As a manager, I have never yelled at any of my staff ever, because you as the leader must show leadership. How do you expect to manage or control your environment when you cannot control your own temper? As a waiter, I would never tolerate an authoritarian manager. I would quit right on the spot. As HR, you might have a lawsuit on your hands if you were to abuse your workers. I loved the food, but I would only come back again if another cook or manager was working instead of this man. I cannot support a business that mistreats its workers, no matter how good the food is.”
“I and a couple of other retirees discovered Pur Sina when they opened and have been weekly customers ever since. Their small kitchen limits the menu choices, but what they offer is tasty and reasonably priced. The pleasant customer-oriented staff has made it serve as a home away from home for us, and we have always felt welcomed. If/when they leave, they will be sorely missed.”
“If you have never tried 'Namaste Indian & Nepalese Cuisine' in Honolulu - you should have no hesitation whatsoever about ordering from here - it's 12/10 delicious! I had it for the first time tonight - hands down one of the best meals I've ever had! Lamb Masala & the Rogan Josh lamb dish was phenomenal. Naan was freshly made. Meat was SO tender. You definitely can tell that the ingredients are high quality with health benefits & cooked with a lotta love. I regret not ordering more (especially the mango lassi mmm...) I honestly could eat from here everyday & not feel guilty. This is the type of food that will heal you from the inside out lol. Fresh - healthy REAL food - tons of amazing flavors - warms the soul! Just added to my Top 5 favorites on Oahu! Go order now!!”

“We ate outside with the beach in view. Perfect setting for that evening glow when the sky is on fire. The food was superb and large portions. We tried fish tacos, the outstanding Mango bbq burger, and the pulled pork sandwich. I’d say the mango burgers were the best item we had. Loved seeing the tiki torches with diamond head background.”
“We ordered the dishes we thought were the most popular, and they were good portions, enough to share between two people.
Excellent views of Diamond Head and a fairly peaceful atmosphere. We went early and didn't have to wait; the service was quite fast since there were hardly any people.”
“We ate at Hula tonight for the first time and Levin took care of us! He went above and beyond and made the experience for myself, my mom and daughter absolutely wonderful. His suggestions for entrees were on point and his customer service was the best we had since arriving on the island! Thank you so much!”
“Looking for a place to eat for lunch and came across this place. Didn't know it was a fancy restaurant until we sat down and saw the menu prices. You get what you pay for here and they do have a lunch menu which has reasonable prices. I knew it was fancy the moment we got asked what kind of water we wanted. Good fine dining place for those taking out their significant other or want to experience high end restaurant eating.”

“I visited today and sat at the bar for Happy Hour and had the best bartender (woman) whose name I didn't get but we did chat about travel. She was so kind! I forgot my credit card and ran after me down the street to return it to me! The food was great and the service was awesome. Thank you kind lady and enjoy your trip to South Africa!”
“Reliably consistent location to location. Hurricane, Bourbon Apple Mule, and entrees were tasty as always, which we appreciate! Our server was fantastic! Cleanliness looked like it could use a bit more attention. Monday night so not too busy. Also, service in the Rick Shop was great! Made sure I got my Unity benefits! I'd go back!”
“First of all, this is not our first visit here for me and my husband. But this time we had our 2 kids with us. We walked in on a Father’s Day weekend on a Saturday, expecting no tables for a family of 4. They were able to sit us by the bar. And it was amazing, the food is great we had the MEGAHAWK, oysters, thick-cut bacon, keiki steak plate and very refreshing watermelon sorbet. Willian and Brian were friendly and superb with their service. As always we will be back again soon. THE STEAK IS NOT A MISTAKE ON THIS ONE!!! 👍🏼💯✅- R.C.”

“Food was fresh and delicious. The produce they used was amazing quality. They have a lot of good options to choose from and the ordering process was quick and easy. My toddler who is in a picky eating phase loved their scrambled eggs and croffles. They also have the best matcha latte I've ever had, I believe they use a pandan syrup they make in house. Would definitely recommend to anyone and will be returning.”
“My husband and I immensely enjoyed coming here! We came on a Thursday night and it wasn't too busy. We were greeted right away and sat at a table. Our server Gueda was very attentive and took great care of us! We also had another person come by and check on us several times to make sure we were good. The various meat selections were great, and they kept coming by our table the whole time we were there. We got caiparinhas and they came in different flavors. I'm not a big meat eater, so I just had the all you can eat salad bar which was more than enough. We would come again and we highly recommend it!”
“Ordering steaks from Hawaiian Prime has become a tradition for us. The quality is consistently outstanding and their team is always incredibly helpful. It feels good supporting a great local resource and the steaks never disappoint. Correction: the steaks AND seafood never disappoint. We ordered lobster tails for the first time this year… Simply amazing!”
“This shop is always rotating roasters and coffees they offer. I ordered a pour over with notes of cherry from their adventurous section of the menu (it was very cherry) at the bar and the friendly, knowledgeable baristas brought it to where I was sitting. Good spot to try something new.”

“This place is an absolute gem. If this were in any other west coast city it would be impossible to get in, but being just off the overly beaten path in Waikiki, Gyoza studio Kubota maintains some character and isn’t pulverized by tourists. Fantastic and creative gyoza and other delicious Japanese bar treats, plus legit culinary thoughtfulness going into their menu items with ingredients that show innovation with Hawaiian influence - oyster/gyoza ramen, etc. The staff couldn’t vibe any harder - awesome people. Not to mention, they let you scribble on the walls. I would be very proud if this were one of my neighborhood joints. Do yourself a favor and go get some gyoza and sake or Asahi on draft. Big mahalo for a great meal. Aloha from Alaska.”
“Fantastic bar and cigar lounge in Waikiki. It was a joy to visit after a nice dinner and relax. Service quality is out of this world and education opportunity for all other bars and restaurants. Secret treasure. I cannot recommend more for those cigar aficionados. Curtis is excellent host.”
