“We drove from Kona to visit this little tea shop and it was well worth it! I had the scenic point with watermelon boba and my husband had the watermelon fruit tea with lychee jelly. I can honestly say I’ve tried several other places on the island and Tea O’clock is tops! The scenic point is a jasmine tea, you could tell it was fresh. The flavor was absolutely beautiful! The watermelon fruit tea was just as you’d expect it should be. Nothing was watered down, only flavorful teas here!! I highly suggest this place!”

“Solid Chinese food spot! Stand outs were the Crab Rangoons, char sui pork, and the moo shu pork. Only strike, and it’s a fairly big one, was instead of the standard thin pancake wrappers, the moo shu pork was served with flour tortillas. Everything else was as expected and fresh!”

“Some of the best food I’ve ever had in my life—my goodness! Chief Soto is absolutely incredible. The filet mignon was hands down the best filet mignon I’ve ever had—perfectly cooked, tender, juicy, and packed with flavor.

Honestly, everything you eat here is going to be delicious. You can tell Chief Soto puts his heart and love into every single meal he makes, and you can taste it in every bite. This isn’t just good food—it’s food made with passion. 10/10, absolutely amazing! 🔥🥩❤ Also best sunsets ever”

“Loved our dinner at Browns Beach House! Ambiance was great, especially our seat right along the lawn (unobstructed view of the sunset) and the live music. Our server, Liana, was excellent and very personable. I enjoyed my chicken entree and champagne. My husband had a delectable coconut/cacao cocktail and a fish entree - mahi mahi. It was such a lovely evening. Very memorable, especially those delicious rolls!”

“I ordered the wor wonton min and it was loaded with veggies and won tons- no complaints! I also got a 2 choice plate with roast pork and beef broccoli and the rice noodle- could’ve had more beef broccoli on the plate but there was generous amounts of roast pork and noodles. Both ladies working behind the counter were patient, kind and courteous.”

“Okay, let's start with the view. I mean, wow. Kauna'oa Bay, up close and personal. We were warmly welcomed & because I had noted my friend's birthday in my Open Table reservation comments, she received a “happy birthday” greeting too. The evening “cantina menu” is upscale Mexican. We started with the guacamole (stirred table-side) with chips and an array of salsas. I had chicken enchiladas but I don't recall the 2nd entree. Both delicious. We were stuffed but to celebrate the birthday we indulged in a shared Ovaltine Froth - a fun signature Mauna Kea ice cream dessert. The stunning sunset was the real icing on the cake!”

“Manta continues to amaze. I have been there multiple times in the last 20 years. The food is fabulous, the view is off the hook especially at sunset. Don't hesitate to go there. Your trip won't be the same without it.”

“After a long morning at Waimea State Park, I picked Da Booze Shop because the name made me laugh. Well the jokes on me because the food, service, and atmosphere were stellar! I have always loved eating in Mom and Pop places because they always have the best food. I got the Mahi Katsu and had enough leftover for a snack. If you are traveling with kids this is a great place to eat. You can eat across the street at the park and let the kids play and expend some energy.”

“Good place for dinner after a day exploring Waimea Canyon. We ordered a veggie pizza for take out. The pizza was fresh and delicious. We enjoyed it.
However, we asked to 'substitute' a few toppings but were charged for 'substitutes' as 'extra toppings'. One pizza cost us $45+ tips. So, we paid for the toppings we never had on our pizza too. in this regard, make sure you check before paying.”

I also want to give a huge shoutout to the lady working up front. She was extremely friendly, welcoming, and helpful from the moment we walked in. Her customer service really stood out and made the experience even better.

It’s not every day you come across a place where the food is great AND the service is just as amazing. This place definitely deserves recognition!
