So delicious and very accommodating! My husband, son and I stopped in unexpectedly and did not have reservations. Our wait was very minimal and they were able to accommodate us at the bar. The staff was great, the drinks and food were all amazing! Very nice restaurant, the valet service was a relief!
Excellent choice for a night out of pizza. We came there Friday night, seated almost immediately and enjoyed one of the best Italian food nights for the whole family I ever had! Great place for kids too!
My friends and I had to make a reservation three months in advance to eat here, so my expectations were sky high. And this place still blew my mind. The service, the cocktails, and the food were all perfect. I started appreciating the art of cooking and cocktails much more after this experience.
If this were based solely on the food and wait staff, the place is hands down a 5 star rating. They have a sommelier to come by your table and recommend wine based on what you're eating and the quality of the pasta dishes is phenomenal! My only issue with this place is the reality of being able to experience this Los Angeles pasta haven when you want. I had to book this reservation 3 months in advance and when we arrived, the host was talking with another staff member about reservation availability, I'm guessing someone called in, for about 3 minutes while we awkwardly stood in front of them without a "just one second" or "we'll be right with you." Not terrible, but something to note. I'm definitely going back.
Since this place was so hyped up, I decided to give it a try. We got reservations pretty easily, like within 2 weeks. Ordered the Bone Marrow and spaghetti rustichella. It was plenty for 2 people to share. I thought the food was overly salty though. I had to chug down a bottle of water when I got back into my car. Parking can be a bit difficult, especially if you are trying to avoid paying for it. I would suggest parking on the street and walking over. Ambiance is very cozy, a little bit too cozy for me. I felt claustrophobic in there.

This was a very interesting place. It felt like I was in a giant cafeteria with 30-40 waiters/waitresses prancing around. Very big OPEN concept and super loud. Food is pretty pricey here but it tasted fine. I liked going the one time for the experience but won't probably go back. It's pretty much the exact opposite of an "intimate" restaurant.
I'm a regular here as I live in downtown. The food is good, not great. The service is generally excellent and the ambiance is minimal, to a fault. The food won't let you down and you'll have an enjoyable experience but don't expect to be wowed. You'll have to deal with long waits at peak times. Marble floors, 20' ceilings and no art on the walls give this place the acoustics of a high-end bathroom. This isn't he place to come if you're looking for a nice quite intimate dinner.
This place is beautiful! It is a bit loud because of the high ceilings, but the food is amazing and the staff is extremely nice. A bit on the price side for food (entrees are between $25-$35), but worth a try. Get the macaroons after your meal for a tasty dessert.
The place had great service and the overall ambience feels upscale but with a casual feel. I had a wonderful dinner here with my girlfriend...4 stars. But the food on its own deserves just about 3 and a half stars.
Awesome service from start to finish! The manager was super friendly & happy to serve us. I forgot what I got since its been awhile, but I'd definitely try this again! He also let my friend and I try their tasty waffle.

Loved the food, fantastic service at the bar and at the table. Beautiful space. Can't wait to come back.
Great restaurant with delicious food. The service is amazing too. However, you may still have to wait for another 30 minutes past your reservation time to get a table. Just keep that in mind. There were a lot of people waiting at the bar on a Saturday night.
Service was great, the place is a bit loud but the food was incredible
This restaurant came as a recommendation from a friend. And thankfully we went! This was an outstanding experience. The chickpea flatbread - brought as a starter - is worth the trip alone. I had the Casarecce - a pasta dish with homemade fresh pasta, and a mushroom ragout that was out of this world delicious. I cannot recommend this place highly enough. The Wine List is overloaded with Italian wine (which is to be expected), but if Italian wine isn't your thing, the corkage fee to bring your own is $20.
A negroni menu?! Very nice. The food flavors are really spartan, and the cooking seems to be pretty hyper-regional. Good place if you're on business since the cost is high.

The service was impeccable! BYOB $10 corkage fee for the first bottle. The food was very good 😊 and the atmosphere and decor were superb. Very affordable too. Extremely fast and tech savvy service. Highly recommend for any occasion. We were a party of 4 and ordered 2 appetizers and 4 entrees and the bill was only $105 🙏🏻🙌🏻.
Can't afford to get to Italy? No worries! Pop over to the Maccheroni Republic for some amazing, handmade, homemade pasta. They even have delicious, gluten free pasta. Listen, I dream of the black and white pasta, but it's all good. AND it's pretty reasonably priced. AND next to a parking garage. Do yourself a favor and head over!
They serve great pastas. Interior and atmosphere is like cozy home kitchen and staffs are friendly. Parking structure is right behind of the restaurant so it is convenient if you could not find a spot on the street. Although the inside is cozy home style the outside seats are also available with warm heaters so it also may be romantic to seat and eat outside in the night. Price is very reasonable, great for casual & special occasion i'd say. Want to come back soon to try other dishes.
Probably the best beef carpaccio and pasta I've ever had! The quality of the food was great and the service was fast and friendly. You can't go wrong here.
Delicious food. Great ambience. Attentive and welcoming staff. And the menu made it very easy for me to locate the vegetarian options.

Great gem in this little neighborhood. Went in the weekend and they had a diverse brunch menu. The chicken and waffles tacos are genius. Huge selection of good whiskey and nice staff. Dog friendly too.
Super friendly and personable service from our two waiters. The drinks were very good as well. We got the hot mama pizza and it was delicious. Fresh ingredients and perfectly cooked. Overall a quiet spot on a Monday night.
David was such a great host! Thank you for having myself and my friend's for my birthday celebration! Great drinks with great food with reasonable prices! Can't ask for anything else!
Best chicken and waffles! A cool spot with amazing food minus pretentious hipsters. Went for brunch and was not disappointed
Great ambiance and service! Me and my friend were in LA for the 4th july weekend and had a list of instagram famous restaurants we wanted to go to and this wasn't on that list. We forgot to get reservation on one of them and this was our second choice for the night but it was great. The host were so friendly and nice and that made all the difference. would recommend the spicy chicken and texas toast
