I'm the neighbor of Strada ( on Village Market), but haven't had a chance to try their food by last week. I got a sandwich & salad that were so delicious. They're also very clean & friendly & one of the best in the area.
Very good coffee and sandwiches. Very nice and very friendly services. Appreciated their hospitality.
Really cool spot. They have an interesting Turkish coffee brewing method which is brewed in hot sand, it results in an interesting alternative espresso. Also have nice refreshing drink options and interesting sandwiches.
This is a very cool place to hang out in downtown LA. Great coffee, sandwiches and ceviche which is my favorite. Love this place!
Excellent food. Friendly owner. Recommend !

The food is Great. Excellent selections and quality. Great service. We will be back. Highly recommend if you like Cajun cooking!!!
Paid $22 plus counter service tip for a crowned po-boy and hush puppies. Sandwich was great, but hush puppies very average to meh. On the small side w finely ground corn-meal. Will try the fries next time. Could use a milkshake machine. Recommended.
Delicious and huge fried shrimp po boy. Big enough to feed 2 hungry stomachs. Good music and low key. Left the place with all my senses very satisfied
The fact that this place is half convenience store might turn you off at first but don't let it! I'm not from New Orleans so I can't speak to the authenticity of the food, but the blackened catfish po'boy I had was fantastic. It's not cheap but the po'boys are huge. Bring someone to split it with or come hungry.
I wish Little Jewel was closer to me - but it's probably better for my wallet and my weight that it is not. I would not have expected to find such good Cajun and Creole outside of Louisiana but they have some genuinely good recipes here. I've been satisfied by every meal I've had here (including the beignets w/coffee) and I come around 1-2 times a month. Even though it's a little expensive, I cannot say enough about this place - one of my favorite restaurants in Los Angeles. *I don't think there are any vegetarian options - so you may want to call ahead and find out if you have special dietary requirements.

Very good food. Good oysters, fantastic scallop ceviche.
They have amazing fresh oysters sourced from places no one else in the city will have. Kind and friendly staff. If you have a craving for oysters this is your spot.
I love this place. Great list of The Oyster Gourmet and bottled beers, knowledgeable staff on everything they carry. The food is very good we tried the pork wings, pizza, and the burger and fries. Everything was perfect and it was quick. One big heads up is that the sign is a small neon in the window it's very easy to drive right past so keep your eyes open.
I love oyster's and this quote is right on “He was a bold man that first ate an oyster." - Jonathan Swift Whoever that was, thank you! For my money this is the best oyster bar around. Just great.
I haven't been just checking out Web site can't rate yet

Thank Kevin ! ! ! ! Excellent service and advice without making you feel like you have to buy something from them. Its very obvious that its all about the passion here and business is just a benefit that goes along with it. Came in not knowing much and everyone at Los Angeles Fish Co made me feel welcome and was willing to answer any and all questions. Will definitely be my go to koi place. Highly Recommended!
Fresh fish. Kind of slow on the cashing out. If you are first timer, ask the staffs to help you with basically everything. Uni sold out so early and fast.... If you want some, get super early or call to reserve them.
They even have a sushi ready to go for a quick snack or lunch with decent prices. Their sake and wine selection and if you're a noodle fan you can get the fresh noodles too!One minor nuisance is their parking is very limited and getting in and out of the parking lot (especially if you have a Suburban) is very tight..
Fresh seafood from all over the world!!!! oh my goodness absolutely everything I purchase has been just amazing
Only open for a few hours every morning but Sunday, this fish supplier to a ton of major sushi houses is a must for foodies looking to make home sushi. You can also get tons of fresh seafood for that end of summer BBQ. Come early or miss out on a ton of stuff. They provide the hair nets (or beard nets for you downtown hipsters). Fresh oysters. Monk fish liver. Uni. Staff is helpful. Neighborhood is sketch so bring a friend if you plan on driving out down skid row. You may even run into a famous chef or two.

Kudos to Curry House for putting a baby changing table in the men's room. Too many places have them only in the women's room if they have them at all. Single dads, stay at home dads and dads who are actively involved with raising their kids, take note. Living in Downtown LA it can be hard to find kid-friendly places to eat. Curry House has a pretty decent kid's menu that's not just chicken nuggets and mac and cheese. Their high chairs are also of a different design than the typical ones I see around and they are actually pretty effective at keeping my kid strapped in and comfortable. Service here is kind of hit or miss, sometimes the servers are super attentive, other times they seem to just disappear. As for the food, you can check one of the other reviews to find out about that.
Curry sauce/fried cutlets. Many dishes w/ pics & large portions. Recommend: pork cutlet (tonkatsu) w/ rice pilaf/curry & dessert: tofu cheesecake w/honey drissle. Staff is polite, regularly refill drinks & see if you need anything.
Not bad. Speedy, efficient, and overall tasty. The side salad and veggies are all pretty standard and don't stick out. The fried katsu curry was good. The chicken breast being nice and crispy. I don't understand why they charge you extra for "super spicy". Overall, if you're with a group of friends and need to pick at a place everybody will enjoy this would be it. Their prices are a bit high though, portion sizes large
Awesome Japanese-style curry! Best to get the omelette-style with your favorites meat (or veggies) and an onion ring and cheese. You can go mild or all out with the spiciness. Also great to put in their pickled ginger. Convenient location in Little Tokyo.
i love this curry place mainly for the lemonade, plate size, hotness of curry sauce, and mainly for the corn soup. I love this place
