“As has always happened when visiting here, the service was stellar, the food was perfectly prepared, and the attention to detail was spot on. Our server, Linda, was informative with answers to our questions about various courses, the wine recommendations from the sommelier, Jan, were perfect, and the desserts were scrumptious. The hardest thing to do at Il Capriccio is choosing which of their delightful selections one is going to dine on, so my companion and I almost always end up ordering meals as a team and then sharing!”
“Beautiful interior and food was amazing. The staff and bartenders were very attentive as well.”
“Me and my girl have been getting this place almost once a week for the past 6 months. We always get garlic naan, butter chicken or chicken Tikka masala (yeah we white as hell.)
This is hands down the best northern Indian cuisine in Waltham, maybe the entire Northeast. We've had a ton of other restaurants but here everything is straight flavor, fresh, tender & perfectly cooked.
Other than the insane food, the staff have all been friendly & attentive. The atmosphere is also clean and nice enough to bring a significant other for a fancy night.”
“This was our first visit. The restaurant has plenty of natural light, space and free parking in back. Our meals were delicious and the portions are very generous! I especially enjoyed the peach panzanela salad and chicken marsala. The service was on point. We will be back!”

“Yesterday was the first time we tried the pizza at Pizzeria Enzina...Wow... and we are so glad we did. My husband and son ordered a calmelized onion and red pepper version and I tried the vegan veggie pizza. We were thrilled at how delicious each slice was and we loved everything, from the taste of the dough to the generous amount of toppings and how incredible the vegan cheese on mine tasted so amazing...yes my husband and son both swiped slices of mine... it was that good. So happy we found you Enzina....my new favorite ....can't wait to try other dishes and the canoli too!!! We are so grateful for such a wonderful meal!!”
“The food and ambiance was delightful. The gin basil smash was one of the best cocktails I have ever had. The beat salad and tuna tartare were both excellent, as well as the spaghetti vongole (one of my favorite meals). Overall a great night, pricey, knew that going in, but worth it.”

“I went about 6 pm and there appeared to be only 2 people working, the manager and another worker. A few other customers came in to order while I was waiting, and the manager was obviously a bit understaffed but so professional, apologizing for the wait to everyone, and helping to get the orders out as quickly as possible. Thumbs up for a man who cares about service and customer communication.”
“I stopped by for a BBQ pork Bahn mi around 7pm on a Wednesday. It took less than 10 mins to order and get my sandwich. I noticed 3 to 4 tables were occupied. Which is a good sign. The customer service was great. It was a bit hot in the restaurant and there was a pedestal fan. Perhaps add another, especially for a hot day. The sandwich was excellent. I highly recommend this place.”

“This is going to be a long one but the short of it? This place is a must-try! I visited with a group in the evening. The drink menu offers all the classic boba flavors you'd expect, along with some unique twists like a soda lemonade drink that was super refreshing on a hot day. It’s the perfect spot to catch up with friends, with plenty of seating, including cozy spots in the back if you want to get some work done as WiFi is available.
We weren’t planning to eat, but ended up ordering the popcorn chicken. It was the perfect snack. Later, we ordered their chicken teriyaki. The food is freshly made by the owner’s mother, which makes the whole experience feel extra special and fresh.
Beyond the food and drinks, this shop is full of surprises: handmade teas, press-on nails, and original artwork created by the owner, who is an incredible artist. You can purchase prints or postcards of their work, which adds such a personal and creative touch to the space. This is a family-owned gem with heart, flavor, and creativity. I already can’t wait to go back!”
“I have been nothing but happy with my ordering from AK's. The delivery charge is minimal and the delivery is super quick. Even when I order around lunch time, with the order tracker, I can see it leave the restaurant promptly. Each delivery driver has been very friendly. I am in love with the soup of the day! Worth it, all around!”
“First time trying this place and it was amazing! We got the roasted chicken, plantains, yaroa, and chicken & beef patties. Everything was tasty, and the sauce they gave us was great. Very authentic vibe and the staff were helpful and friendly. Will definitely be going back!”
“Our kids have been going to The Chateau for years and we really enjoyed this visit even though the kids are now 13 and 18. We go there mainly for the atmosphere and the bread. The service is friendly and the food is good enough. It's just nice to eat out in a nice family restaurant where you can get a nice booth and there are no stupid kiosks or QR code menus.”
“When you walk into Mu Lan it is like you are transported to Taiwan. They have some "Americanized" dishes, however they are known for their authentic dishes. My Chinese friends that also own restaurants told me that Mu Lan is the real deal. I went at lunchtime. Most tables were occupied. I was one of the only non-Asian customers. To me, that's a sign of a great restaurant. As soon as I sat, they brought me over tea, water with lemon, a ramikin of peanuts and a ramikin of pickled cabbage and carrots. A very pleasant start to the meal. My waiter, an older gentleman with glasses was very friendly and was one of the English speaking employees. Part of their menu is written in Taiwanese. Those items had pictures. You can also easily use your cell and Google translate. I should note the restaurant was extremely clean and had nice Asian decor. They give you chopsticks. There is forks/spoons available if needed. I use chopsticks at home so this wasn't an issue. I started with a cup of Hot and Sour Soup. It's a favorite dish of mine and I was curious to see how they did it. Great flavors with the normal fillers like tofu, golden needle, black fungus, egg etc. Had a good amount of heat to clear your nose. My next course was half of the House Duck. Also delicious! Although reading the reviews it sounds like people lean towards the Smoked Duck. I finished with some Cuttlefish Dumplings! These were amazing! I believe the wrapper was black from squid ink. Overall, very happy with the food and the little extras they give you.
When they bring out the bill, they also bring Orange slices!!! Kind of like the pineapple back in the day! They have a large menu with a lot of interesting choices. From a cultural perspective it was really fascinating to watch some of the families eat. Each person would get a bowl of rice. Then the table would get two giant bowls
One looked like a soup. The family members would pick at the big bowls and place items on their rice. After a few bites they would repeat the process.
Definitely worth checking out for great fresh, authentic Taiwanese/Chinese food. Prices were very reasonable! Excited to go back and try something new!
Parking: I didn't have trouble finding street parking!
Kid-friendliness: Kid friendly if your kid has an adventurous palette.”
“Years ago, when I was a student in Boston, I met Osman in a Turkish restaurant. He was kind, hardworking, and always full of warmth. Seeing him now as the owner of this wonderful Turkish restaurant filled me with pride and gratitude. Osman’s hospitality, generosity, and genuine heart was into every detail of this place, from the warm welcome at the door to the last bite of dessert. And the food is absolutely phenomenal. Every dish has authentic flavors of Turkey, perfectly seasoned, beautifully presented, and made with love. From the tender kebabs to the fresh mezes and perfectly flaky baklava, it was a feast in every sense. You can feel the care and tradition in every bite. This restaurant isn’t just a place to eat; it’s a place to feel at home, to celebrate friendship, and to savor life. Thank you, Osman, for creating such a beautiful space. We’ll definitely be back! ❤️”
“Went in for my birthday dinner. Service was great and the food was fantastic. Will definitely be back again.”

“Really nice flavor on the carnitas and cabeza, solid lengua, and terrible carne asada tacos. Would say these tacos are smaller than used to (probably could get at this size and price in Manhattan which is saying something) so would just keep that in mind when ordering”

“What a cute restaurant with delicious food! It's a bit unassuming from the outside along a busy street, but Fin's has a bright, open atmosphere inside. We enjoyed lunch on a late Sunday afternoon and highly recommend the beef fried rice, Chirashi sushi bowl, and the tuna poke bowl. The poke bowl was a unique and deliciously fun surprise with strawberries, mango, and avocado. The bowls came with miso soup, and everything was fresh and yummy. Great find in a busy neighborhood and close to 95.”
“I started eating here for more vegan options and to eat healthy. The food is always fresh, it’s a hot bar but constantly replenished.
Even though the food is lightly seasoned (there are a lot of older customers) it is packed with flavor. The best part is seeing Masao doing his craft. He is genuinely happy and appreciative of all his customers, and his exuberance is quite contagious. Although he is a man of few words his actions and the kindness in his eyes speak volumes. If you order in a to go box, you place the box on a plate when it is weighed. I think the pricing is on par with other hot/ salad bars.”
“This charming coffee shop is the perfect spot to warm up with a cup of coffee and a quick bite on a cold morning. The ambiance is laid-back, with soft music in the background and immaculately clean tables that invite you to relax. The menu features a wide variety of coffee and tea options, we sampled the latte and mocha—both rich and flavorful, a great start to the day.
For food, we tried the French Croque Madame and the ZenZest Tuna Toast, both of which were delicious and carefully crafted. The pastry selection is equally impressive, with everything looking irresistibly fresh. The Portuguese Pastel de Nata, while good, would benefit from a quick toasting before being served to bring out its full potential.
While the prices are on the higher side (in the case of the sandwiches doesn’t appear in the menu) the overall experience, from the friendly staff to the quality of the offerings, makes it a worthwhile stop. The convenience of accepting credit cards adds to the appeal of this cozy, inviting café.”
“So, we had planned on, reservations for eating outside but a rain storm moved in. They were able to accommodate us (party of 3) at the bar. The bar staff were amazing. The food was excellent and the beer was cold and excellent. We'll definitely go back.”

“My 8 and 10 year old and I LOVED eating in the restaurant and our whole family loves it as take out and delivery. In particular, my kids loved the ramen saying it's the best they've tasted. We all loved the sushi (SO fresh) and I particularly loved giving the Sushi Chef (who I hear is a master who would love to practice his craft creatively off menu when given the chance :) my loves, preferences and any dietary constraints and he just surprised us w/delicious stuff of his own creation. It's become our favorite!”
“Super cute staff super nice and friendly, the food never unattended always someone's be aware that the level trays be where have to be fresh trays all the time, the meats dept ayyyyayayay more diversity that you can have same the buffet trays hard to get everything on your plate higiene 101 % , all excellent and can say God's Food you can have dine i take out ans or delivery they are a complete business”
“The tapas were delicious and tasted very fresh. There were many gluten free options on the menu. We ordered 8 tapas for the four of us and no one left hungry. Next time I will try the Flan!”
“Great food, friendly atmosphere. Veggie Enchiladas and Blood orange margarita…highly recommend!”

“Absolutely wonderful small bakery. I feel like one of the family every time I go there. I get to try new food specialties from Guatemala! Yum. Today Today it was an amazing tortita. I was planning on taking a photo of it to add to the post but I ate it too soon!!! Yum!!! Totally recommend it.”
“Pretty decent ice cream at reasonable prices. Even in a small, you can get two flavors. I got banana and chocolate peanut butter. Both were creamy (banana can get icy) and we t together really well. I wish the peanut butt was better mixed in though as some bites were just massive globs of peanut butter instead of ribbons.”
“The perfect local spot. The owners and all the employees are a gem, they make you feel so welcome. The whole place has the best local feel and environment. It’s undeniably a part of the community. And the food is great! I highly recommend their calzones. They also have a fantastic rewards system for regulars. I really love this place and I hope it will be here forever.”
“I find no problems with the staff here. They are always cheery and helpful. I do think there could be some efficiency improvements and the wait times are a little long and a bit pricey for cafeteria food. But otherwise food is generally decent and selection is variably good to very good.”
“This is the best restaurant on Moody! My wife and I came on a whim when they opened a few years ago. We have been coming almost monthly ever since. The food is fantastic. The variety is incredible. Service and atmosphere wonderful and inviting. And the drink menu is extensive, both in delicious cocktails and a sake list we are still working through to this date. Any time we have friends in town, we bring them to Shiki Shabu Shabu as a treat to ourselves and them. Casual dinner at the bar is fun and groups at tables is an experience. This is what Moody has been missing!”
“I recently moved and used to be a couple minutes away from this place and will really miss it. The servings are very generous and the prices are fair. A nice hidden gem if you’re ever on moody st. It’s almost always empty inside but don’t let that fool you!”
“I and my husband had a dinner yesterday and food was delicious, Angelo, our server was excellent, real pro. The restaurant by itself gave us a feeling of the real Italy. Thank you!”
“My family and I just returned from the Charles River Chapter of the Bay State Council of the Blind Holiday Party at John Brewers. It’s at least the 12th year we have been going there. Everyone is so friendly and attentive. The food is always good and they provide braille menus. We all had a great time.”
“Best steak in the world. My Ribeye was cooked to perfection !! and the taste was unbelievable. Appetizers great too. Shared sides for the table could be a little larger portion. But overall, a 9 out of 10 !!”
“I have been going to Grassfields for many years and have been very pleased. The past few times I have been there I ordered the broiled scallops and have been disappointed. The muscle on the scallops are not removed which are very tough to eat. Also I feel they are gritty. I am hoping that someone reads this and corrects the issue because Grassfields is a lovely place.”
“Went to this restaurant after seeing it featured on Phantom Gourmet and my husband and myself left full of good food. The food was tasty and came to our table ready to eat and the service was great! They gave us everything we needed in a timely manner. The restaurant was on a smaller scale but we got a table pretty quickly without making a reservation. We even had the dessert of the strawberry shaved ice which had a bowl that was big enough to easily feed the two of us and it was very delicious!”

“I took my mom to tita’s kitchen for dinner and we both enjoyed it so much. We could smell the aroma of the restaurant from down the street. It smelled so delicious! The food definitely lived up to the great smells. We got tacos and a carne asada plate. I will be back and I will recommend anyone to visit Tita’s Kitchen for some yummy authentic Guatemalan/Mexican food. 5 out of 5 stars!”

“This restaurant was a highlight of a wedding trip to the Boston area. Mia was our server and she was incredible. If she was in the Philly area, I would try to poach her for my hotels. We wer e party of 6, including 2 ravenous nephews. For apps we had Meatballs, Fritto Misto and Arugula Salad - all delicious. Entrees were Lasagne, Grilled Lamb Chops and Orchiette, Chicken Parm and Rigatoni. I would never order Lasagna at a restaurant but the person that ordered it was raving about it and made me try it. The sauce was something that should be bottled and sold - it's so good. The portions were generous and every one of us loved our food. I wish we had more time in the Waltham area because I could have eaten my way through the entire menu.”
“Taco 🌮 Pastor, grilled habanero salsa and a Modelo draft 🍻 for lunch.”
