“My lady and I celebrated our anniversary at Bar Pigalle last night, and it was just as incredible as we remembered. We had been once before and absolutely loved it, so returning was an easy choice.
The ambiance is elegant yet inviting. It has that hidden-gem quality that makes you feel special the moment you walk in. Our server, Adam, was warm, welcoming, and attentive, making the entire experience even more enjoyable.
And the food? Phenomenal. We started with two expertly crafted cocktails, the Turn on Red and the French Caffee, both delightful in their own way. For appetizers, we shared the beet salad and mushroom gratin, which were flavorful and perfectly prepared. But the real reason we came back...The burger.
I know it’s “just” a burger, but this is the burger I judge all others by. I’m not exaggerating when I say it’s the best I’ve ever had—juicy, flavorful, and just downright delicious. If you're a burger lover, this is the one you need to try.
Bar Pigalle continues to impress, and we’ll absolutely be back again!”
“We dined here for the first time this week and had an incredible experience. The ambience and quality of service really stood out to us. The build out of the space is also beautiful. The food was some of the best we’ve had in Detroit. We especially recommend the chips and side salsas, tlayuda, tetela, and enchiladas! We will definitely be returning.”
“One of my favorite spots in Detroit. I came here for a casual date night and the vibes was nice. Food is 10 out of 10 and the drinks were so good! I’ll definitely be back for more.”
“We had dinner and it was delicious. Every single dish had its own character and unique P+P touch. We had Steak Tartare (mayonnaise based which was different but good), Filet Mignon, Asparagus, Mushrooms, Lobster Risotto, I forget the name of the salad - and the cocktails were *perfect* and presented beautifully. The service was incredible, staff friendly and welcoming, overall atmosphere outside (where we sat) was perfect and spacious. Honestly for my Wife and I to start our evening for an anniversary date night at P+P - I couldn’t be happier. You will spend money. It’s worth it. They did go the extra mile for us, had a Happy Anniversary card waiting, brought out a desert for us with an edible chocolate piece that said “Happy Anniversary” - and it was fun. I cannot wait to go back.”
“Wow. What an absolutely fantastic final dinner of 2023! After we managed to find a late dinner reservation for New Year's Eve, it was a relief to discover that our excitement about the tasting menu was well-placed. I would definitely recommend the drink pairings as well! The amuse-bouche featuring oysters from the West and East coasts was a delightful way to splash into the meal. The wasabi and the mangosteen featured in each of the oysters, respectively, complimented the beautiful brine of the oysters in such a wonderfully playful way. This first tasting urged us to pause the menu progression and order an extra dozen oysters to explore the other possibilities. Tasting from Vancouver to Prince Edward Island, they were beautifully prepared and of excellent quality. The first course of lobster salad felt like a summer in Maine. Not that I've ever been to Maine, but the imaginary scene flashed across my vision as I took that first refreshing bite. The grapefruit emulsion worked almost majestically with the light, refreshing flavor of the lobster salad. The tapioca chip was perfect for the crunch to fully bring the different elements of the dish together. A fascinating intersection of refreshment and comfort. The second course was the potato pavé. I'll be thinking of this potato often for the foreseeable future. It was one of those dishes that makes your eyes pop open a bit when you bite it as you realize how good it is. A beautifully layered and seared rectangle of flaky delicious potato resting with a lovely salsa brava speckled with trout roe, topped with tarragon, cured trout, and black truffle flakes. I don't even know what else to say. It was stunning. Sea urchin buttered ramen, the third course, will always be what I wish my at-home thrown-together ramen could be. It was rich, it was luscious, it was comforting. Growing up in southeast Texas, crawfish boils were always some of the most exciting times of the year. The crawfish tails in the ramen brought me back to those summer days eating crawfish with a cold beer. The duck breast for the fourth course was exceptionally cooked. It was juicy and flavorful and made a perfect bite with a bit of cauliflower, raisins, apricot, agrodolce, and foie-sauce. Each bite was such a symphony of flavor that kept me coming back. Last but absolutely not least was the gâteau ardéchois: the chestnut cream cake. Accompanied by cranberry coulis and crispy meringue bites, this dessert was a sweet but still mellow finish. While the coffee mascarpone ice cream was a robust and complementary flavor, we both agreed the vanilla coconut ice cream was the star between the two. Thank you again to the stellar crew at Mink! Happy New Year!”

“Great place to celebrate a special occasion as well as enjoy a week night meal.
Kid-friendliness: Not a restaurant for kids.
Wheelchair accessibility: It's a crowded space.”
“I celebrated my birthday at the high bar over the weekend and had an excellent time! Although we only ordered drinks, the service was spectacular and the atmosphere was unlike any other restaurant. Beautiful presentation of our beverages as well! Would love to return for dinner sometime.”

“Dough structure for pazcki was ON POINT! Delicious enriched dough. The strawberry jalapeño filling could have used more jalapeños, I didn’t taste it at all. Still delicious strawberry none the less. Pierogi is always on point, delicious dough stuffed with delicious fillings. There are no better pierogi in the metro Detroit area, period!”
“Absolutely delicious 🖤 Go now!!”
“everything was very good, we sat at the bar and McKenzie took really good care of us, a must try spot!”
“We came at 11pm on a busy Saturday night and we were seated almost immediately. It was a little loud but to be expected on late night weekend. For drinks I ordered the Friend of A Friend, 10/10 for sure. We ordered the garlic knots and got the grandma, pesto, and meatzza pizzas. The Pesto was definitely the star of the evening. Our server Paige was awesome and made us feel right at home. Would gladly come again.”
“Ran into this place the day before the marathon. Sat at the bar and got recommendations on what to get from the staff. Everything was fantastic. We ended up with calamari, scallops, gnudi, and trilece for dessert. This place was one of the best parts of our trip and we're excited to return. The only thing better than your food is your staff.”

“Quintessential Detroit, I had such an amazing time having a few espresso martinis and a micro of super high in bourbon the bartender josh is Super professional enjoyed the cocktails thank you so much. I suggest everybody checking this place out when they visit Detroit.”
“One of the best meals of my life. Everything we ate was the best version of that thing I've had. Specifically, we had an incredible miso soup, wagyu yakitori, a tuna tartare & truffle maki, and nigiri that would just perfectly balanced flavor bombs. Fantastic service, amazing execution. And the Jasmine Tea is incredible. This will be one of our go-to spots for special occasions in the area.”
“Best restaurant in Detroit Metro airport sit at the bar for first class service!”

“Great night out. The food was terrific especially the salmon kabob and the white bean and arugula.
Excellent wine selection and the sommelier made the perfect recommendation for us.
For an open space restaurant it was well suited for a “quiet” meal and easy conversations.
The staff was knowledgeable about the menu and well timed attentive.”

“I can't possibly say enough good things about Chef Omar, and his restaurant! Not only is the food amazing - incredibly imaginative, then executed flawlessly - the people are warm and inviting. I can't believe it took us this long to find one of the best dining experiences we've had in Detroit. I hope you will find it much sooner. Like . . . go now. You'll thank me!”
“I just spent a week drinking through some of the best cocktail bars in Tel Aviv and was reminded how none of them come even close to the amazing cocktails that the Kevin, Kyle, and the rest of the Castalia team come up with! Each visit to Castalia, be it your first or one thousandth, is magical and wonderful!”
“My cousin wed their beautiful bride last night and their original post wedding brunch location fell through at the last minute. Groups of us came through right as Supergeil opened. Now let me tell you, they moved mountains to host our celebration. The food was incredible and the warm hummus was some of the best I’ve ever had. Thank you thank you thank you for today! Cheers 🍸 10/10 ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”
“Having recently dined at Mad Nice, with an exceptional waitress Alaina, at an upscale Italian-inspired establishment nestled in Detroit’s vibrant Midtown at 4120 Second Ave, I find myself compelled to share an erudite reflection on what proved to be a most memorable culinary experience. This restaurant, a venture by Heirloom Hospitality Group, masterfully intertwines the rustic charm of Italian tradition with a modern, coastal California sensibility—an ambitious fusion that, on this occasion, delivered a resounding success. What truly distinguishes Mad Nice, however, is its outstanding customer service—a rarity in an era where such attention can sometimes wane. The staff, from the warm hosts to the attentive servers, exuded a genuine passion for their craft. Our waitress, Alaina, was nothing short of exceptional—her humor and knowledge enriched the evening, as she anticipated our needs with an almost preternatural finesse, ensuring that water glasses remained filled and recommendations flowed freely. My sister Alaina’s evident pride in her work elevated the meal from excellent to extraordinary, making her a standout memory of the night. In sum, Mad Nice is a culinary gem that not only meets but exceeds the lofty expectations set by its stylish veneer. The food is delicious, the choices abundant, the drinks sublime, and the service—thanks in no small part to Alaina—unparalleled. I wholeheartedly recommend it to locals and travelers alike, and I, for one, shall make it a ritual to return whenever my journeys bring me back to this dynamic city. Mad Nice is not merely a restaurant; it is a destination, a delightful paradox of “mad” ambition and “nice” execution that lingers long after the last bite.”
“If I could give more stars, I definitely would! Everything was delicious 😋”
“Great foodie experience! Jake our waiter was amazing! Excellent food and service!!! Desserts delicious! Go now!”

“Amazing food! So great, no matter what i write here could surmount to the generations old technique applied here. Simple. Nothing over the top. No gimmicks, AT ALL. A surprising lack of gimmicks, is very inviting, along with the prices! Which if you’re one your way home from a night on the town, and seeing those stadium prices. Its like a step back in time. When everything was simpler and made more sense. God bless Telway!”
“We had a gift card from the Detroit Redwings that we had to use, and we are so glad that they threw in the gift card. I had the 10 oz steak and it was incredible but the dessert was my favorite. We ordered something called The Game and it was incredible. I highly recommended this place.”
“Only downside to this coney is how long the drive thru takes sometimes. But that means they're busy, which also means other people had the same idea as you at 3am like "dang, you know what would hit right now? Joe's coney."
Just make sure your whole order is there before you dip. I didn't get fries with my burger combo the first time, second time i drove off without my drink, and had also left my card in the drive thru. Guess i could ease off the pen.”
“Hollywood casino/hotel offers the best downtown Detroit experience. The hotel is in a safe and convenient location near outdoor events, restaurants and a few shopping outlets. Hollywood casino/hotel rooms are modern, sanitized and comfortable and the staff is very professional.”
“Overall a 5 star. Food is always delicious and it’s always clean inside and outside. I love that they are open 24/7. Sometimes certain people answering the phone can be rude but overall they are kind, it is Detroit after all, we know how our people are. I would recommend everything on their menu.”
“Chill cool vibes. Always quick and easy only once they told me no when they were still open but it was like close to close so that's my fault. Real quick service and tasty especially between classes or when I wanna step out for a bit. They're in a gas station so lots of sblnack and drink ”
“Food 4 stars instead of 5, the food is normally on point. The best Coney I've had, during the day. After 11 pm-12 am it's as if they just don't care about quality. Service is always good hence the 5 stars. Staff is great. The only problem with the atmosphere is the location of this Coney. Harper&Chalmers, in the hood where anything can happen”

“Best of the best In Detroit!!! ⭐️ 🌭 Service is always top notch!!! Definitely will always be my go to spot! You are not just a customer at Duly’s, you feel like a part of the community! This is a must try spot for everyone, AMAZING 🌭! Breakfast looks fantastic as well! 🌟”
“This cafe is utterly amazing in every way. It hits all the right notes, with a laid-back vibe that makes you want to linger.
The atmosphere is chic, the food was spectacular, and the drinks were phenomenal – especially the pistachio latte with espresso. It’s creamy, perfectly balanced, and not too sweet. The apple croissant is another must-try — flaky, lightly sweet, and made with care. But the real star for me is the chicken artichoke sandwich — savory, satisfying, and packed with flavor.
Everything paired beautifully, and despite long lines, service was impressively quick. With plenty of seating and easy street parking, this spot is absolutely worth a visit — we’ll definitely be back.”

“I’ve passed this place several times and finally had a chance to try it today. Some of the best chicken wings I’ve ever had in my life. Cooked fresh to order and they did not disappoint! Very nice people , very talkative and helpful. Well worth the less than 10 min wait. I will be back soon for sure. I am a fried chicken lover and they are easily top 3 I’ve had. Thank you”
“Wife & I love the friendly atmosphere. To complement that statement, the food & drink is second to none ! We've met so many people there, it's amazing ! As mentioned previously the food is amazing, and the best way I can define / complement the bar is, Stephaine, Skylar, and John are NOT bartenders, they are cocktail ENGINEERS !!!”
“We celebrated our August wedding anniversary at Coriander, and were delighted! We sat in the Greenhouse, the view was great, loved the decor. Our server was friendly and helpful, everyone was so kind. Loved the drinks Thad made, our meals, Rainbow Trout and Shrimp Boil were excellent. My guy enjoyed the peach cobbler for dessert, the cookies were delicious as well. As native Detroiters, we are thrilled with this venue, and will be back!”
“My favorite place to come to. The staff is always nice and attentive when I’m there. But Nick at the Bar is my favorite along with Dominique. Food is always great as well. There is never an off day here!”
“The food was outstanding - that’s first. From raclette to start to trout for our shared entree and then farro pudding dessert, every bit was perfectly balanced and delicious. But the sense of community and camaraderie was even better. Cannot wait to return.”
Fine Dining
“I can’t say enough about our dining experience! This restaurant is on my TOP list here in Nashville and I will now frequent. Everything from start to finish was superb! Our waiter Sid was nothing g more than AMAZING and the manager was very nice and came by to say hello! The FOOOOOD was SO good it’s definitely worth it!!”
“This was an amazing dinner. It had all of my favorites! I also discovered their signature drink called the knockout! It definitely does!! It was by far made to perfection. It was so good that I forgot our waiters name! I think it was Carmine, can’t remember it might’ve started with a C. But he was perfect making sure I did not go empty on any of my knockouts. As soon as one was low, he knew to ask and bring out another. Great atmosphere and loved the live jazz!!!”
“I love Willis show Bar. The atmosphere and ambiance is amazing. It's my sister and I go to spot when we go out for some live entertainment and good libations.”

“Last night after jelly roll concert me and couple Freinds went here to eat. Was great food will definitely go back. The service was great. The waitress we had she was amazing she took care of us very well. I love the atmosphere and the vibes this restaurant/bar gives”
“Oh MAN Rocco's is the place I have searched for in vain until last year when I tried them for the first time. Since that first meatball sub I have had almost every sandwich on the menu and so far not one has disappointed! Today I had the Corner Deli and was transported to Italian paradiso! In case you non-Italians did not know, ciabatta is the Italian baguette and Rocco's bakes many fresh loaves several times per day! Usually it is still warm from the oven even if you get a cold sandwich! There is no better sandwich bread in my progenic-Italian opinion! They are in Midtown on Cass just East of Mack. Try them if you have yet to do so. You will thank the gods!”
“Every time I come to Detroit, I try a new coffee shop. This is a great place to get some work done or just hang out (both indoors and out). The matcha I had was great, just a hint of sweetness. Though I didn't get to try the food, I expect it to be good with just the quality of produce that was brought in this morning.”
“Great beer selection, a relaxed vibe, and plenty of board games to enjoy. I also appreciated that they had the football games on, adding to the cozy atmosphere. If you like a sweeter beer, I’d definitely recommend the Flannel Weather (not the one pictured). Perfect spot for a laid-back evening.”
“My favorite brewery to visit in Detroit. Excellent beer every time, always something new and unique. The food is fantastic and so is the atmosphere. Great business that goes above and beyond to support the community.”
“This place is a complete culinary delight. I love the atmosphere, the sharable menu options and selection, and the amazing staff. If you want a truly unforgettable experience, try the chef’s table! Five stars every single time we’ve gone!”
“Wow! Had one of our best meals in Sorrento tonight. Make sure to put this one on your list!”
“Everything and everyone was amazing, can’t wait to go back again”
“Never disappointed with anything I’ve ever had there and every time I bring someone to try it they absolutely love it.”
“Had the chefs tasting menu, and I highly recommend it if you don't know what you want.
Vegetarian options: Much of the menu is meat-based, vegetarians y'all should take a look at the menu in advance”
“Amazing food and great presentation overall! 10/10 recommend getting a sushi boat with larger parties. Every roll on that menu is delicious 😌”
“We came to The Whitney for an early birthday dinner for my husband. I cannot say enough positive things about our experience there! The staff went above and beyond my expectations. The food was amazing and cost was much less than I would have expected for the caliber and presentation of our meals and dessert. For all of you paranormal afficionados, their Ghost Bar is a must. The owners of The Whitney have done so much to preserve this amazing estate in Detroit without any funding assistance from the government or grants. Please consider supporting them by being a patron the next time you are in Detroit.”
“Wonderful place to go for a special occasion. The entertainment is always top notch. The food was absolutely delicious and the entire staff at the top of their game!”

“Excellent service, delicious food and it all happened under the red lighting. Be prepared to park on the street as the parking lot only has 6 or 7 parking spot.”
“Every time is the best time at Parlay Detroit! This isn't just a sports bar - the food and service is fine-dining, but with a live-DJ and incredible atmosphere. They also have a downstairs speakeasy and soon a cigar lounge. Detroit has needed a place like this for far too long.”
“We’ll be back. Everything was delicious. Great food and service.”
“Rachel was phenomenal. She gave us the best experience and her spirit is one of a kind. Definitely will come back to see Rachel. She really knows her stuff and how to give you the whole experience in a night.”
“The lavender beer was enjoyable, with a light, refreshing taste perfect for those who prefer milder drinks. I loved the subtle lavender flavor, which added a unique twist without being overpowering. Unfortunately, the $5 pretzel was a bit disappointing. It was on the harder and bland side even with the seasoning and only came with a spicy mustard, with no option for cheese, which would have been a nice addition. Not worth the price. The atmosphere, however, was warm and inviting, with plenty of board games to enjoy - perfect for a relaxed outing.”
“The management, staff, Chef and hostesses are ALL great to work with and created such a wonderful space for our annual Gala. The guest raved about how great the food was and the bartenders were warm and friendly. I wish I could give more than 5 Stars!!! Will be back next year!”
“Great service and selection! I recommend Sugar House to any bourbon lover!”
“Great venue with a cool old school Detroit vibe, fantastic service. The French Onion soup & Caesar salad were to die for. The ribeye & lamb chops were delicious”
“We came to Detriot to see the NCAA D1 National wrestling tournament. We stopped in and had a great time. The beer, food, and environment were wonderful and we give them 5 stars. Look forward to coming back. Mechanicsburg PA folks”
“An absolute gem in Southwest Detroit! Went tonight with a party of six for my nephews birthday. Everyone raved about their meals. Hearty portions and reasonable prices! The service was 5⭐️.”
“Delicious homemade food… wonderful staff open air tables. Great service!”
“We went with my friends to have dinner. We ate sushi and had some spectacular drinks. And the music by Yusmusica was the best part of the experience. It's the best 10/10.”
“My son, who's moving to SanDiego, treated me there. He's been several times. Ambience, service, dinner and dessert were all excellent. Coffee was pretty darn good too. Can't go wrong!”
“They serve lunch at our hospital and the brisket is to die for! Sauce has an amazing kick of sweet and savory in every bite. Definitely recommend.”
“The food and service was excellent!!! The stuffed salmon is a must!! The bartender customer service was impeccable.”
“Bday dinner party, I had the fried chicken, greens, amd mac/cheese.”
“Went to Grey Ghost for my wife’s birthday. The place is very clean, and the service was second to none. We were a party of six and had a great time. The food was out of this world. Would definitely recommend this place for a date night or even a special occasion. Also want to mention the atmosphere is great. The setting was perfect.”
“Corporate event here and they were very accommodating . The manager did an excellent job and was very respectful. Overall great job. Food was good, we had a classic menu and some of the dishes were done really well. The beef in particular was excellent, not over seasoned just simple and cooked correctly. Only future request is for the scallops to have one side seared to create multiple textures. The scallops lacked that good sear which holds on to some of the delicious flavors of the butter and salt without that it really became a bland scallop. Regardless we would still eat here again. Good service, nice people and a good enough variety on the menu.”
“If you’re looking for a culinary experience in Detroit, Midnight Temple is the place to be! From the moment you walk in, the vibrant ambiance sets the tone for a magical evening. Loved the traditional Indian elements, creating an atmosphere that’s both warm and lively.
The food? Absolutely divine! The tikka masala, dhal makhani and biryani are a must try. Don’t skip the garlic naan, it’s the perfect complement to every bite.
Looking forward to coming back and trying more things from the menu :)”
“Top-notch beers, friendly staff and incredible pizza. The outdoor patio is great for our dog!”
“This was our second visit to Hamilton’s. Upon arrival back, we were immediately reminded why we rebooked. This time last year, the hotel and restaurant were barely open but still left an incredible impression.
This time around, we were just in time to try the new fall menu - which was texted to us in advance with our reservation confirmation. As part-time vegetarians, I’d had my eye on the lasagna. It just so happened, they had a “taste” of lasagna on the specials menu that evening. The vegetables and pasta were cooked perfectly. With the mushrooms, you didn’t miss the meat - at all. And the béchamel. Oh my goodness.
On the advice of Manager David, we also tried the whole roasted chicken. Holy. Moly. This bird was herb brined, starring rosemary. Juicy, tender, perfection. Crispy skin. The smashed potatoes were just stupidly good. Creamy and crispy perfection.
The food, signature cocktails, and amazing wine selections aside, the true stars of Hamilton’s are the staff. David was ever-present without being over-present. BJ delivered his artistry in libation form flawlessly. And Chef personally delivered the chicken and heard all our feedback. We felt like superstars the entire evening.
10/10 do recommend. And you’d better believe we’ll be back!”
“Always excellent food and staff is on top of it and very friendly. We love this place!”
“The food is amazing and the service was even better! Ask for Myka - - she’s sweet, had all the best info in the menu, and made the experience phenomenal!”
“This place was amazing! The cocktails and ambiance was so cool!”
“It was our first time in this place and Ibrahim made our experience so great!! He guided us on the menu and had amazing mixology skills. Will be coming back!”
“The bartender Jon was amazing. The food is so good and the restaurant is absolutely beautiful. I will say that the hostess, Ms. P was extremely rude, and I almost left. I wanted to dine in, but Ms. P said reservations were required. I told her if we can't eat in, then we can order to go. She interrupted me while I was speaking and asked, "You wanted to eat in, don't you?" I almost left because as her being the face of the restaurant, it was not a welcoming experience.
I'm glad I walked away from her and ordered at the bar. She definitely needs a class in customer service.”
“Had a great time last night at Brix. The customer service was phenomenal and the food was amazing . I had a strawberry tequila lemon drop and it was absolutely amazing !!! The ambiance and location are the best !!”
“Best place in Detroit and metropolitan area. A true dining experience. Not to be be missed.”
“Our server Jazzman was great and very professional … on top of being “Stunning” Food was absolutely delicious ‼️”
“The food here is amazing, the egg rolls were on point and the drinks here are out of this world, the atmosphere here is great best as in fusion spot to eat at in Detroit!
Parking: Many spots to park middle of downtown near ford field.”
“We walked in to the Buhl Bar and where greeted by George and Aish they where both so friendly and so full of information. We provided our preferences in taste and allowed George to select and make our cocktails. He nailed our tastes and delivered the best cocktails we have had. This place has such a great art deco vide the service was second to none and the drinks amazing. Thank you George and Aish it was a pleasure to have meet you both.”
“Came here for a post dinner cocktail and had a great experience.
We did come on the early side (8:30pm) but loved the vibe and the cocktails were unique and delicious.
We also trialed the mocktails which was a pleasant surprise. Highly recommend and will be returning !”
“Absolutely wonderful staff and wonderful food. My son has food allergies and they were extremely helpful and accommodating. He was able to safely eat here with allergies to milk, egg and beef. Would recommend to anyone!!”
“Great service. Great food. We had the sausage/cheese platter, and their pretzels. Pretty tolerant of two Kentucky boys who hit the beer pretty hard the two nights we dropped in. The place had a good crowd both nights. Nice little pub. If I'm ever up that way again, it'll be one of my first stops.”
“Our server Emily was very attentive, warm and welcoming. She made us feel very comfortable. We highly recommend the rueben sandwich and THE STUFFED SQUASH! Hats off to the chef and Emily. Thank you for a wonderful experience. We will be back.”
“Truly an elegantly beautiful bar and building overall. My family and I had a wonderful time and are thoroughly looking forward to returning soon. An unforgettable experience.”
“I went to Detroit Soul today and enjoyed the food, the service was great! I plan to go back again.”
“The food is amazing. Esp the sweet chili wings. I had the "Say Less" drink. Raspberry, lemonade and d'usse. Strong but good. Shotgun shrimp was similar to boom boom but less saucy. Tasty! Service was the winner. Hostess was the best. attentive and kind. Friendly and fast service. Lots of parking and seating. Cool decor. Local art & reference. Def be back.”
“Myself and my friend dined in at The Kitchen… not ONE complaint. Que is a doll and just delightful and the food was amazing! The staff was EXCELLENT! Ambiance great! Gravy slapped!!!!!”
“What a great spot! The vibes and music were good. The service was excellent…shout out Rachel. I’ll definitely be back. Gotta come back with my girls to hit the bar specials lol.”
“Went for the first time yesterday. We were a large party (8) and everyone loved it. They were cool and did separate checks for us. Fantastic food, drinks and atmosphere. Fairly priced as well. Well done, Vicente’s! Only downfall was the $45 to park in the garage around the corner, but it’s downtown and parking gouging has become a thing. 😐”
“Decided to order sizzler burger from this restaurant and i must say the delivery was first it took around 30minutes and their customer service was good as well and very respectful”
“Came here to eat after the Detroit Half Marathon. Snagged two seats at the bar so we could be in and out. Grabbed a beer. Had the Oktoberfest. I ordered the Creole Chicken pasta. My friend got the burger with sweet potato fries.
I was more than pleased with my pasta entree. The bread was good as well. I was hungry and put it all away, but any ordinary meal, I would have had leftovers.
Service at the bar was attentive and we could sample a couple of beers before settling on one. Had the football game on at the bar.
Limited seating, but it was a cozy environment.”
“If Katrell (Pineapple Daddy) wasn't here...I wouldn't make it a mandatory location. He makes sure my party is happy and that everything is everything. The food is excellent and the service is as well!”
“Outstanding sauerbraten, Rot kohl, and strudel! Beautiful atmosphere at this historical detroit landmark!”
“Seeing the city from 24 stories up provided amazing views. It’s a unique experience.”
“Woodbridge is always my go to place when I want to chill and do business. But most of all, the people is what makes the place jump. If you're in town make sure you stop through!!! Detroit in the building”
“Really liked it, my daughter didn't like her lobster dish though. Paid 50 bucks, tipped the waiter $10 didn't even eat the food. We bagged it up and left then threw it away. Extra long wait for the food.”
“A place to go to feel the Detroit house vibe. In a popular neighborhood. Easy to find affordable accommodation around. You are likely to meet legends of the Detroit music scene there
Kid-friendliness: No
Wheelchair accessibility: Yes. All on the ground floor”
“It's an okay spot at best, but only because the staff is great.. except the security dudes. All of the security fellas look and speak as if they are mad about something. Maybe it's their job to look hard??? IDK If you're okay with cigar and weed smoke, you'll probably enjoy Soul on Ice. During warm weather days the patio is only for smokers because you cannot escape the smoke no matter what. Do not expect to lounge outside if you're not a smoker of "something". The stinch of smoke gets indoors too because people are smoking at both doors, or they are standing with one foot in and the other out. There's a few ghetto people that go there, but, that's pretty much expected in Detroit, so there's no running from that type. At least Soil on Ice don't water down their drinks, or replace top shelf with cheap stuff like TV is very well known to do. 4.5 stars out of 5 for the DJs, food, and drinks, but the mean-faced security staff and cigars and weed all over the place brings the rating down to 1.0001. Yes, 1.0001 stars! We're rooting for Soul on Ice to continue on for many years, but my wife and I will likely not return unless we have absolutely nothing else to do, or they rearrange the whole smoking setup. Non-smokers want to party indoors and out too! I'm done with this review. I'm off to put my clothes through five cycles of hot water washing using Tide Super Duty Scent Destroyer Extra.”

“Been there two times now. Perfect neighborhood bar for folks in Brush Park. Food was very good and service was excellent. My wife and I are “Summer birds” . We reside in Arizona and reside in Brush Park when weather is good so it’s a perfect neighborhood place for a nightcap.”
“Originally from Michigan but now live in Florida. Went to Detroit for the weekend to attend Red Wings games. Looked for perch dinners and found Andrew’s. Absolutely awesome perch with a generous portion. Loved the atmosphere of the old time era. Staff exceptionally friendly as was the owner. Would definitely recommend this place and can’t wait to return. What I liked was the minimal breading so you have the true taste of perch. This is by far the place to go if you love perch.”
“We held a 50th birthday party for our daughter in the private room last Saturday evening. The service and the food was extraordinary. We had 50 attendees that included old and not so old. The banquet items were outstanding and the chef did a marvelous job of preparation and presentation. Passed appetizers were a hit with everyone. (I particularly liked the crab cakes) Sheila, Yen, Rex, and Kat provided the beverage service and passed the appetizers and drink orders with smiles and efficiency. While we didn't see much of the kitchen staff, Gil, Emeka, Chaona, and Aaron provided culinary treats that had all the attendees marveling at the variety and taste. And most helpful were Joanna and Paul, the proprietors. Thank you Common Pub for a most memorable evening and event!”
“My family and I decided to have our Christmas meal catered. I attended a bridal shower earlier in the year catered by Leroy’s and suggested to my family we try them for dinner. We ordered dressing, ham, mac & cheese, potato salad, and greens. They gave us an order of rolls. Everything was seasoned and flavorful. The mac & cheese was cheesy and delicious. The potato salad was some of the best I’ve had. The ham was juicy and tasty. You could taste the love in the dishes. The person that prepared our meal, enjoyed what they were doing and took pride in their creation. We’ll be back!”
“Estella's Vegan Cusine has the best deserts for any event. We recently was in Detroit for our daughter and so -in-law's baby shower with several vegan attendees. Chantelle made many outstanding deserts: Rasberry-Lemon Bars, small Strawberry Crunch Bundt cakes, Brownies, Cake Pops, and cookies. All of our guests loved the deserts! Please use Estella's for any Vegan Cusine or Desert!”

“Everything about our visit was awful. from first being seated, to terrible service, to them not coming over to our table with different meats, to the meats that we did get being dry and over cooked, to other guests being rude to us. if you go never go to the Detroit location. 100% not worth your time or money.”
“Dinner was amazing! The hot crab dip was exceptional, shrimp and grits to die for! The chicken was unfortunately unseasoned and dry, when we told our server Krystal, she replaced the whole meal to go and was so kind about it! Brought it back to our hotel to try it and it was incredible!! Perfectly seasoned and moist, thank you Krystal, you’re the best!!”
