In each visit, I ordered the same thing: quick 2-egg breakfast, with eggs scrambled, 2 sausage links and wheat toast. I had a different server every time and have not been disappointed. Food and service was consistently good. Price was reasonable. This IHOP is suitable for solo or group party. Parking (free) was plentiful when I was there (between 8am to 11am). I recommend this place to anyone looking for a decent meal - especially the quick 2-egg breakfast - at a reasonable price.”

A few observations.
The ambiance is terrific. Finally a restaurant that understands that background music in BACKGROUND music. Perfect volume for allowing table conversations. The tables are nicely spread out so you’re not competing with other table conversations. Granted it was on a Tuesday night but by the time we left the place was quite busy. Have your phone light ready to read the menu as it can be a little dark inside.
The decor is subtle but still very interesting. Not easy to hide huge support columns but they’ve done it nicely! Love the open kitchen. Table was a great size and the cushions in our booth were very comfortable and very clean.
The service was terrific. Chris, our server, was at once very attentive and engaging. I love the model that the server welcomes, answers questions and takes our orders. It’s others who bring out cocktails, appetizers and the meal thus freeing up the servers to attend to their tables.
The food was very good. My wife had the salmon which she thought was delicious. I had the braised ribs. The meat itself was tender and delicious. I have to say that I was looking forward to a little more kick in the horseradish and mustard sauce. I can understand that it’s a delicate balance of too much kick and too little. But I was disappointed. I guess I could have asked for a side of horseradish to kick it up a bit. The cheesecake for desert was tasty as well.
One personal disappointment. When making our reservation, like many reservation apps, the user is asked if there’s a special occasion for the evening. I noted that it was my wife’s birthday. Her birthday is on St. Patrick’s Day.
I wasn’t after a free desert topped with a candle. But I thought it would have been nice to simply acknowledge her with a, “happy birthday.” You see, if you ask for the information and you’re given then information, and you do nothing with the information it leaves one disappointed.
Anyway, given everything else, we’ll be back a some point.”

On the downside why I didn’t give higher number of stars the french fries were not that great, hopefully it was just a bad day for fries, but I will give them another shot for fries in the future. “I cannot say enough about the Goat in Durham at Brier Creek! We had a party for my son and new daughter in law Saturday 8/19 and it was everything we wanted and more!! Marianna saw to our every need, gave us extra tables, tablecloths…..whatever we needed. The food, drinks, atmosphere were perfect!!! We were all so happy and had a great time. If you have a social gathering, meeting or any kind of group situation, The Goat is the place to go and ask for Marianna for sure!!! Love this place!!!”

“Absolutely love this place! From the moment you walk in you’re greeted with friendly, family-run vibes and a cozy atmosphere that makes you want to stay awhile. Their rolled ice cream, made-to-order taiyaki, boba drinks, and soft serve are all top notch — rich in flavor, beautifully made, and never too sweet. Watching them prepare the treats is part of the experience, and every visit feels special. They also do an amazing job with coffee drinks and have options like oat milk available. This is hands-down one of Durham’s best dessert shops — worth a visit for families, date night, or anytime you’re craving something sweet!”

“LOVE this place! It’s so warm and welcoming. Everyone here is so very sweet, specially Paul, he made his restaurant ALL HALAL because of his friend who is a Muslim and he wanted him to come eat at his restaurant 🥹💕 we need more Paul’s in todays world. But for real, the food it’s absolutely AMAZING!! Don’t sleep on those wings, they’re so simple yet one of the BEST wings I’ve ever had, and I also love the beef salad, definitely a must try. It’s so important to support amazing people who love what they do and it shows not only in their food but also on their attitude towards others ❤️”

“Recently discovered this place the last few months and have enjoyed coming here for drinks. There was this place in NYC that had Pickletini and I had to try it here as I haven't seen it anywhere else. While it was good, it was too pickley for more, they have other cocktails on their menu that I've enjoyed as alternatives.
Overall, good place to have a lowkey hang out night.

“The Bean Flower is hands down the best boba shop in the triangle, and I love putting money in the pocket for a born and bred Durham biz owner- a real person not a corporation. CC and her team worked really hard on this menu, and it shows. The specials are really unique and delicious (chai nog, corn milk, and the malted orange hot chocolate have been standouts). But the main reason I go is for the chai. It's really authentic, sweet, spicy, and delicious.
I can tell that CC and her team are genuinely community driven and I'm so glad we have this spot in Durham.”

“We were visiting Raleigh from Philadelphia area and needed to stop in to Atomic Clock. All the beers were great as was the food. My 2 favorite beers were the winter warmer Apricity and the San Junipero wheat beer.”

“Flavorful burrito bowl with strong portions and very nice staff! Worth the $.
I met the owner Yas and he was extremely accommodating and open to my questions about the restaurant as I’ve never been to this chain before. All the ingredients were very flavorful, and they have a strong selection of proteins. I found the portions to be very strong, and they even let me try certain items which was nice. I really enjoyed the Sriracha ranch!
The only negative was that the woman who put on the sauce, really drenched it in sauce before asking do you like a lot of sauce or a little, and I told her a little, but it was way too saucy already. I told her it was fine, but I would just ask before saucing how much sauce somebody wants!
Overall, will definitely come back and think that Yas and his wife, who run it together, are doing a great job!”

“Very neat place. Food was really good though I want to emphasis what so many other reviewers have already stated. The burritos would be so much more enjoyable if the potatoes were cut into smaller cubes. Because they are so large you get some bites that are only a plain potato.”
