“My oh my, what a delicious meal. I have never had better flatbread in my life. The small salad with gyro was more than enough for a meal. And my favorite dessert- Galaktoboureko!!! I’m so happy I had dinner here.“

“Came here for Monday lunch. Food was good but not amazing. But the service was very slow. Ordered the standard lunch prefix menu (app, main, dessert) and ended up spending almost 2 hours, mostly in waiting, not what I would expect from lunches.“

“We first heard about Tony’s on Jon Barr’s YouTube channel (prepping for our first NYC visit). Can only say that this is the perfect spot to get food, and then go eat it in Central Park.

Meat skewer, spanakopita, and baklava were all excellent. Really needed that spinach after eating a lot of bagels and cream cheese this week. “Truth is I'm not a big fan of Greek food but hubby is. My dinner was eh, while he said his was OK, not great. The grape leaves were delicious and the baklava was devine. Hubby wanted beer but it was all sold out 2 days ago at Easter and the new delivery was late. He also wanted the rice pudding for dessert but that was also sold out. Service was great and restraunt was clean“

“I really love the food at Pita Yeero. I always get the meatless meatball pita sandwich as well as the chicken one. Their vegetarian options are great, and it’s not just limited to falafel. It’s in a cafeteria style building with lots of other food options called “The Hungry Pearl”. I work across the street and think this is a great lunch option. Fast and friendly service. Be warned though, they often close earlier than their hours state, normally around 3 most days.“

The prices may be slightly higher ($2-$3?) than other places but you get what you pay for. First, the place is immaculate. Everything shines like a mirror. Second, the food is cooked by a certain kind of professional. I'll compare to another cafe nearby that offers a load of grease with your food. Not here. My hash browns were crispy, fluffy, perfect. Eggs, again perfection. The coffee was not as good as it could be (Lavazza please), but more than drinkable. I'm thinking of moving to NYC. Now I'm looking near The Madison as I'll spend most of my mornings there.“

Your typical fast-casual set up where there's several steps to choosing ingredients for your bowl (or gyro wrap). The staff walks through it patiently :D“
