• Zucchini chips: Thin, crispy, and lightly salted, golden and addictive. Very close to my all-time favorites.
• Spicy feta dip: Creamy with a balanced heat; rich but not overwhelming.
• Grilled octopus: Surprisingly tender with a subtle char and bright. Not something I usually order, but I’d absolutely get it again.
• Branzino: Moist, flaky, and deeply flavorful, super light
• Rice: Fragrant and savory - unexpectedly excellent.
• Lemon potatoes: perfect with a bold citrus punch.

Service: Warm, attentive, and efficient from start to finish.

A true standout and an easy repeat. Officially added to my list of favorite Greek restaurants.“

“We first heard about Tony’s on Jon Barr’s YouTube channel (prepping for our first NYC visit). Can only say that this is the perfect spot to get food, and then go eat it in Central Park.

Both times we visited the food was great, staff was very friendly & we received our orders within a couple of minutes.

“We were there in December and came across Symposium while walking. We were impressed by the cozy atmosphere and the amazing service we received. Our server knew a lot about the history of the restaurant and was helpful in suggesting a wine with dinner. The hummus, lemon potatoes and steamed vegetables were all very savory! “I came here for the chicken cheeseburger and fries, and both were really good -fresh, flavorful, and just the kind of comfort food you want. The service was friendly and the place feels cozy, nothing fancy but nice quality. I also tried the baklava since they didn’t have cheesecake that day. It was okay, maybe 6/10, not something I’d order again. But for sure, if you come here, get the chicken cheeseburger with fries , that’s the real highlight“

The Restaurant Week dinner menu was varied, for anyone's pallet, our dishes were delicious as was our selection of a bottle of the Sancerre. “I really love the food at Pita Yeero. I always get the meatless meatball pita sandwich as well as the chicken one. Their vegetarian options are great, and it’s not just limited to falafel. It’s in a cafeteria style building with lots of other food options called “The Hungry Pearl”. I work across the street and think this is a great lunch option. Fast and friendly service. Be warned though, they often close earlier than their hours state, normally around 3 most days.“

“Behind the unassuming food truck is some excellent greek food, with personable service..so glad my office is right next to it. Had lamb souvlaki (only meat) before and today had pork souvlaki (only meat) and both were grilled to perfection, fresh, juicy and perfectly spiced. I live nearby and sometimes I stop by just for the froyo — Greek frozen yogurt with olive oil and salt. Unreal.

The food is delicious and affordable. Bowls you can make as healthy as you want. Super authentic Greek flavor. The gyros? So good. You can even go light and do it as a salad.

All the dips — tzatziki, baba ganoush, everything — taste like Greece.

Simple. Fresh. Consistently great.“

“This is my dream diner. Breakfast is my favorite meal and Madison delivers. Many other reviewers complained about the prices. The prices may be slightly higher ($2-$3?) than other places but you get what you pay for. First, the place is immaculate. Everything shines like a mirror. Second, the food is cooked by a certain kind of professional. I'll compare to another cafe nearby that offers a load of grease with your food. Not here. My hash browns were crispy, fluffy, perfect. Eggs, again perfection. The coffee was not as good as it could be (Lavazza please), but more than drinkable. I'm thinking of moving to NYC. Now I'm looking near The Madison as I'll spend most of my mornings there.“

“I ordered a gyro bowl for takeout while I was in midtown. Delicious food that I'd definitely get again. The place is clean inside with several tables to dine-in and the food tasted fresh. Your typical fast-casual set up where there's several steps to choosing ingredients for your bowl (or gyro wrap). The staff walks through it patiently :D“

“Found this place on a snowy evening at 10:45pm. The very Greek owner was sitting at a table enjoying some souvlaki. When we came he greeted us like we were stopping in for dinner at his house.

Food was fantastic.

The chicken gyros were made in house and cut off the spit.

Im a sucker for the beef lamb American style gyro. It was great. On a platter paired with lemon potatoes.

My son went for the chicken gyro. It was homemade in house cut of the spit. Delicious. Flavorful.

My daughter wanted avagolemeno. When she mentioned it was her favorite soup he yelled back to kitchen to give everyone soups to try. It was such og Greek reataurant move-again like you were over his house for dinner. It was the best we've had.

The best part was the prices-very fair for manahatten. I mentioned how good the prices were and he said he tries to give the nearby hostipal rank and file a nice place to eat at a reasonable price.
