“This place is insane! The vibes and the music is poppin. The food is so good. Everything tasted so fresh. The bar had great drinks and very kind bartenders.

I had to give this a 3/√-star for atmosphere because there are 2 floors with djs. When we went, we had a large bday party so they sat us downstairs where every other large table had a birthday party as well. The classy family style dinner quickly turns into a rave during your meal and it can be jarring for some. You can't hear anything except for the music and so many folks were standing on their chairs waving their dinner napkins in the air. If you love a noisy and lively dinner, this is perfect for you!

“Overall pretty good, but not the best or most authentic Greek food I've eaten. It's okay. The service when we sat was pretty quick with waters. The food itself was okay, flavor is there but not strongly. The Saganaki had goat cheese, which isn't traditionally the case nor was it specified in the menu.

They do need groups to all be there to be seated and don't take reservations. I'd understand if it was amazing food, but it was just okay.“

“We had a nice experience here. My steak was very good, I really did enjoy it. My husband things his dish dish was also pleasant. At first our waiter was a bit stiff and stand offish but he opened up and was professional. The location is beautiful and so is the space. I wouldn’t make a special trip to go back here specifically but if I’m in the mall again, I wouldn’t be opposed to it. It’s quality service and food, expensive but it’s NYC.“

“Really enjoyed our evening here! The cocktails were super innovative - they have “beertails” which are cocktails made with beer! We also tried their classic “mini” souvlaki and the 8 hour braised octopus! Our favorite was the Lamb Shank that fell right off the bone - we will definitely be back!“

When ordering our food they were incredibly patient despite being very busy and took the time to answer any questions we had and talk to us about Greek culture and cuisine. The food felt like a homecooked meal and I would not be surprised if there was someone's grandmother in the kitchen doing all the cooking. On top of all this, the feta....it changed my life. “I love Pi I enjoy getting my Greek frappe and other coffees from Pi. The pastries are exceptional and if you want to have lunch, you can also have fantastic Greek dishes. “Whoa! The food was amazing! Im pescatarian, so I had the fish, and it was delicious. Everything was so fresh. There was a humus plate with 3 different flavors, and the cucumbers were beautifully decorated around them. I must have eaten all of the cucumbers. In some restaurants, a fresh cucumber can be hard to come by. The fish arrived on a bed sautéed spinach, WOW ❤️❤️. The sliced pita bread with the humus was addictive. I definitely ate way more than I should have. While I dont eat meat, the other folks I was dining with said the chicken and beef options were just as delicious. It was family style, so we had lots of options. The restaurant is small but quaint, and the customer service was amazing. The food came out quickly, and there were about 13 of us. We had a reservation for 1 pm on a Thursday, and it was not crowded.

There isn't a lot of space to move around, so I would be conscious of carrying large bags or strollers.“

“Disappointed Birthday Dinner at Papa's NYC I had high hopes for Papa's in New York City, especially after booking a reservation three months in advance to celebrate my 40th birthday. Unfortunately, the experience left a lot to be desired. We had an 8:30 PM reservation, but we didn't get seated or served dinner until 9 PM. While the restaurant itself is absolutely gorgeous—a beautifully designed space with a lively, party-focused Greek vibe—the service and dining experience were extremely disappointing. Let's start with the positives: •The vibe was great if you're looking for a loud, high-energy atmosphere with a DJ and party crowd. •The interior is stunning and definitely Instagram-worthy. Now the downsides: •Our server, Jurgen, was rude and dismissive throughout the night. •Drinks took an unusually long time to arrive. •Appetizers came out at staggered times, not all together, and we had to ask multiple times for missing items like pita bread. •For the entrées, 2 out of our party of 8 never received their meals, and when we asked about it, the server claimed it was the kitchen's fault and offered no resolution. •We asked for a manager, who did apologize but didn't make any effort to fix the issue or improve the experience. •No dessert menu was offered—in fact, we felt rushed to finish, and the server never came back after dropping the check. •At no point was there any real apology or acknowledgment that things had gone wrong on a special night. Bottom line: If you're looking for a club-like atmosphere with great music and vibes, this place might be for you. But do not come expecting a quality dinner or good service. If I could do it over, I'd eat somewhere else and just come here for drinks and the scene—not a sit-down meal, and definitely not for a celebration.“

“Came here on a Saturday at 4 pm . Was pretty dead . Not sure why . The atmosphere, service, food was AMAZING. From the octopus appy & feta dip , to all entrees was so delicious, especially the seafood pasta dish . The balaclava was to die for …. “Food is really good! Comparably priced to most of the fast casual restaurants in midtown area. Got the Piato both times, and the potatoes are great as a base. Chicken is crispy and nice, and the Bambi and Greek Salads are fire. Service is really really good too, and personally get a kick out of the door to the basement being covered by the trash can lol.

“This is my dream diner. Breakfast is my favorite meal and Madison delivers. Many other reviewers complained about the prices. The prices may be slightly higher ($2-$3?) than other places but you get what you pay for. First, the place is immaculate. Everything shines like a mirror. Second, the food is cooked by a certain kind of professional. I'll compare to another cafe nearby that offers a load of grease with your food. Not here. My hash browns were crispy, fluffy, perfect. Eggs, again perfection. The coffee was not as good as it could be (Lavazza please), but more than drinkable. I'm thinking of moving to NYC. Now I'm looking near The Madison as I'll spend most of my mornings there.“
