I used to go here 10 years ago in my early 20s and it's been around since I was in grade school. Over time, the place improved greatly with the same cozy ambiance. There's a good reason for their longevity of business.”

“First time going, had a great experience. So much food, all you can eat for just $40. The Garlic Chicken and Spicy marinated Pork were our top two favorites. But everything we got was great. Got also the Beef brisket (which they give you a lot), the Spicy marinated Shrimp, and the Spicy marinated Chicken. For two people who are hungry, only 4-5 meat dishes needed. They do not let you take any leftovers home unfortunately. Even if you cook it. Also got their fried rice, the Kimchi Soup (really good), and the Cold Noodle dish (not that great, or just not our favorite thing compared to everything else and was unnecessary). It was my husband's first time having Korean BBQ, so was fun and he really enjoyed getting to cook his own meat and he loved everything and how much we got.”

Every aspect of service was an upgrade ahead of the other locations, particularly service and cleanliness. We also ordered the tempura calamari and Agedashi with a side of Japanese beer (large bottle of Asahi). The wait staff are attentive and checked on us multiple times. “A less known place aside from the locals it serves, I had their monster burger and it provided value for my dollar. I felt it a fair price without an extensive wait period. The seating was comfortable and it was good place for a chat with good food. Now service was mostly counter level but the cashier was courteous and if the place isn't too busy they will bring some things to the table if opportunity permits but be ready to pick up the order from the counter otherwise.”

I haven’t had one since I was in GDL!! Check them out they close a little early. She said 7 PM. They are so good.!!”

The food was delicious, but we were in such a rush that I forgot to take photos of the food we ordered: grilled pork banh mi, bun bo hue, and kids pho with tofu. The tofu seemed freshly made. Everything was delicious!

The prices were reasonable and affordable.

We will surely be back to try other dishes as well.”

The food was excellent: well prepared, presentation of various items enhanced the meal, the flavor and texture of the variety of sashimi was each distinct and appreciated. The portions are generous and thank goodness fulfilling of the appetite of our adolescent boys. The adults were also pleased by the generous portions which some of them shared with the young men. Happy diners all around. Some suggestions: music can be less intrusive and unavailable menu items need to be communicated to customers before they look at the menu to make their selection. This can spare disappointment of customer and avoid lost/waste of time for wait staff and customer. We'll share our delight with Aji Koharu with our friend groups and we have made plans to return for more if the excellent dishes at Aji Koharu.”

“33 years ago, my new wife introduced me to Vinces. In her previous marriage, Vinces in Renton was the family go to. One bite of Vinces pizza and I was hooked. The only negative is Vince's pizza has spoiled me to every other pizza place in the area. Vinces pizzas are Neapolitan style......much, much better (in my humble opinion) than any other pizza's. Vince's is the place our family always meets for special occasions. We have always been treated very well. My 9 year old grandson told me Vince's pepperoni pizza is his favorite.....it happens to be my favorite too. Writing this I'm starting to crave a pizza! Their other menu offerings are equally excellent. A year or so ago, we stopped for lunch. Out of the blue, I ordered one of their Italian Hero's. I will say it was the absolute BEST Sub/Hero/Grinder I had ever eaten. If you have not been to Vinces, so yourself a favor and try it. You might find you have a new favorite pizza/pasta place. A++”

Since we moved recently, I looked around for a well rated Teriyaki restaurant near us, and Teriyaki house came up. Well, she loved it (and so did I!) but did not care for the sauce. So next time I went in, I asked for the chicken without the sauce, just on the side. Since then, this has been the only place we go for take out. The quality of the food is the best out of all the other Teriyaki places we tried and the couple who own the place are wonderful. I would love to spend a few days in the kitchen watching how this wonderful chef makes these dishes. I've tried several of the other offerings and they are just as excellent as the teriyaki. I look forward to trying more of their fabulous offerings. Highly recommended.”

“My family, boyfriend and I would frequent Magic Wok, the previous restaurant here for lunch specials or just dinner. I was surprised to see that they are now Szechuan Impression but looked at their menu online and saw that they offer similar offerings but expanded on their menu too! I love the additions of Szechuan dishes and they have a lot more spicy options too!

My boyfriend and I got a lunch special on May 12, I called to make a take out order and was put on a quick hold before getting my order taken by a nice, professional lady. I got the sliced fish delight lunch special while my boyfriend got the cashew chicken lunch special. We both got fried rice but I got hot and sour soup while he got egg flower soup. The food was ready at the estimated time of ten minutes. The inside according to my boyfriend has not changed and remains as it did when it was run by Magic Wok.

The food was seasoned much better than Magic Wok and the portions were definitely bigger. I really enjoyed the different types of vegetables in my dish and they used ginger and garlic too! My boyfriend was used to how Magic Wok used to make the cashew chicken but he said it was pretty good here too but just a little spicier for his taste. We are definitely looking forward to coming back to try more of their new and traditional dishes!”

“This location is really unique, located between a massage parlor and a hair salon, this place is like a korean fried chicken joint mixed with a speakeasy. Club-like atmosphere with dim lights and modern music bumpin.
I ordered the fried chicken and it came with 10 pieces and was really solid. Bit expensive, at 22$ but perfect to share.
Friend orders the bulgogi and liked it
Didn’t get any drinks but the soju looked good.
Service is slow
Open till 12 so definitely a good late night spot with drinks and food”
