Dessert was orange dreamsicle cheesecake and it was melt in your mouth delicious. Pizza was better than any other pizza we've had. Crab and More far exceeds our expectations and the food was much better and way more favorable than Crab Pot. Their sauces are excellent and the prices are much better than Crab Pot. Usually quick in and out service, and it's uncommon for them to make a mistake. If they do make a mistake, it's dealt with quickly and efficiently, without any arguments.”

We also ordered the tempura calamari and Agedashi with a side of Japanese beer (large bottle of Asahi). The wait staff are attentive and checked on us multiple times. The restaurant is clean and tables are nicely spaced apart, tables are cleaned immediately. The decor of this restaurant is pretty cool and unusual. We will definitely be back. Thanks Nami Sushi!”

I love conversating with the older gentle man (owner) and I love seeing how a family works together. My favorite restaurants I only eat at are family owned not a corporation. Those are the best and can’t get food made like theirs in corporate restaurants. Homemade is always the BEST!!”

“33 years ago, my new wife introduced me to Vinces. In her previous marriage, Vinces in Renton was the family go to. One bite of Vinces pizza and I was hooked. The only negative is Vince's pizza has spoiled me to every other pizza place in the area. Vinces pizzas are Neapolitan style......much, much better (in my humble opinion) than any other pizza's. Vince's is the place our family always meets for special occasions. We have always been treated very well. My 9 year old grandson told me Vince's pepperoni pizza is his favorite.....it happens to be my favorite too. Writing this I'm starting to crave a pizza! Their other menu offerings are equally excellent. A year or so ago, we stopped for lunch. Out of the blue, I ordered one of their Italian Hero's. I will say it was the absolute BEST Sub/Hero/Grinder I had ever eaten. If you have not been to Vinces, so yourself a favor and try it. You might find you have a new favorite pizza/pasta place. A++”

Gamjatang is a favorite whenever I visit Korea and this is the only place I’ve found in North America that makes it so good! My girlfriend got the hangover soup both times and it was also really good. Their soondae and banchan are likewise great and all their food is quite generously portioned.

We visited again with a 40 minute drive and were looking forward to coming back!”

“L&L saved the day for catering! This was for my dad's memorial service. One medium pan is definitely enough food to feed 24 people. I had 24 people at the event and was unsure about the size so I got medium pan of beef short ribs, a medium pan of bbq chicken, and a medium of rice. There is so much food left over! Anyway, the service was really good and the guy behind the counter brought the box of food out to my car.

“Interior of Aji Koharu is calming and shelters customers from the rush of traffic on Hwy 99. The food was excellent: well prepared, presentation of various items enhanced the meal, the flavor and texture of the variety of sashimi was each distinct and appreciated. The portions are generous and thank goodness fulfilling of the appetite of our adolescent boys. The adults were also pleased by the generous portions which some of them shared with the young men. Happy diners all around. Some suggestions: music can be less intrusive and unavailable menu items need to be communicated to customers before they look at the menu to make their selection. This can spare disappointment of customer and avoid lost/waste of time for wait staff and customer. We'll share our delight with Aji Koharu with our friend groups and we have made plans to return for more if the excellent dishes at Aji Koharu.”

Since we moved recently, I looked around for a well rated Teriyaki restaurant near us, and Teriyaki house came up. Well, she loved it (and so did I!) but did not care for the sauce. So next time I went in, I asked for the chicken without the sauce, just on the side. Since then, this has been the only place we go for take out. The quality of the food is the best out of all the other Teriyaki places we tried and the couple who own the place are wonderful. I would love to spend a few days in the kitchen watching how this wonderful chef makes these dishes. I've tried several of the other offerings and they are just as excellent as the teriyaki. I look forward to trying more of their fabulous offerings. Highly recommended.”

“Have had the lunch special several times now. The food is fresh and the sauces are very flavorful. I highly recommend the Mongolian Beef, the Kung Pao Chicken, and the Pork and green beans. The special includes soup and an egg roll. Both the hot and sour and the won ton soups are some of the best I've had. What a great deal for such delicious food. Will definitely be back!”

“Wooree Bahnjeom serves my favorite jajangmyeon in Federal Way, and after three or four visits, the food has remained impressively consistent. The jajangmyeon has that rich, savory, old-school Korean-Chinese flavor I look for, and it’s the main reason I keep coming back. I also recommend the ganpunggi, which has a nostalgic sweet, tangy, and crispy flavor reminiscent of traditional Korean-style fried chicken dishes. The restaurant has always been clean during my visits, which I appreciate. I also respect that they close from 2:30 to 4:00 p.m. for an employee break, something that is still fairly uncommon at Korean restaurants. Service can be inconsistent, however, and some employees have been noticeably more attentive than others. Still, the quality of the food has been dependable enough that this remains my go-to Korean-Chinese restaurant in the area. When I come here, I know I can expect satisfying food and usually leave very happy with the meal.”

“I've had Underground Kitchen before, via delivery, so I knew I already enjoyed the food, but this was my first time entering the restaurant. One concern I have is regarding the accessibility of the location. As the name suggests, the restaurant is located underground requiring travel via stairs. I'm sure the restaurant is ADA compliant, but I do not know where the wheelchair accessible route is. Asides that, the vibe of the restaurant itself is nice and has this Korean bar feel. The music is on the louder side, but I enjoyed the Kpop that was being played. The restaurant is generally clean and there are complimentary candies near the register. The service was great and I had no problems with the staff. I went here with a friend and we got the Half Fried and Half Yangnyeom Chicken, and the Kimchi Cream Udon with Beef. In order for a classic Korean chicken shop to be considered good, they must nail both the original fried chicken and the yangnyeom chicken, to which UnderGround kitchen did. I prefer their chicken over Pelicana because of how well seasoned the meat was. The original fried was perfectly juicy on the inside and crispy on the outside. The yangnyeom could have been spicier, but it is a good spice level for the average American tastebud. Nonetheless, despite yangnyeom chicken being a saucy chicken, the coating was still crispy. As for the kimchi cream udon with beef, it was divine. The last time I tried their food I had the one with pork belly, and I remembered enjoying it then too, but wasn't sure if the pork belly was doing the heavy lifting as my favorite type of meat. I was quickly proven wrong with the beef udon because this was just as good as the pork belly kimchi cream udon. The noodles had a great bite to them without being undercooked. The beef was soft enough to chew through with healthy teeth. However, the kimchi cream sauce is what carried the whole dish, as both ingredients balance each other out. The sourness of kimchi reduces the richness of the sauce to a perfect level that is creamy enough, but not overly fatty, while the dairy content neutralizes the spice. I highly recommend UnderGround Kitchen.”

“I’m wondering if they understand the products that they serve. A latte is a drink that has 3-4 parts steamed milk to 1 part espresso. So a 12 oz drink with one shot of espresso, fundamentally cannot be a latte, yet that’s what their menu calls it. That also happens to be the smallest size they serve. Something doesn’t add up.
