“What a treat. Total hole in the wall joint serving some of the best grilled dogs you’ll ever find. No seating, it’s grab and go all the way, but that’s part of the charm. The owner has that perfect mix of crusty and friendly that makes the experience memorable.

I had the brat and the garlic frank, both fantastic, smoky, and served on a perfectly grilled sesame bun. Prices are super reasonable, especially for the quality. They take cards, but cash moves faster. Drinks are basic but fit the vibe.

You’ll probably pick up a quick dose of Berkeley street philosophy while waiting in line, which just adds to the fun. Open late, fast service, and full of character.

“Pizza Twist is absolutely fantastic! I have a strict gluten allergy, and Mani (the owner) went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of. He was incredibly accommodating, attentive, and made me feel safe and confident about enjoying my meal. The gluten-free pizza was delicious, fresh, and flavorful—honestly one of the best I’ve had. It’s rare to find a place that truly cares about dietary restrictions while still delivering amazing taste. “This dinning experience was amazing! My son exclaimed that Tibetan food is now his favorite and he wants to eat here again next time we are in Berkeley. I was so excited to eat at this restaurant. I never had Tibetan food before this. I didn't realize that this restaurant didnt open up until 5pm on Saturdays, our event ended at 3pm but we explored Berkeley until they opened. My group ended up buying so many dishes to eat family style because we wanted to try everything. Some of the things that we ordered were- Ngoe-thuk (noodles) , Shea-thuk (soup), combination plate of momos, Trama Chura (tofu chips), Dhooloma Tsel-chu (eggplant), Tingmo (Tibetan bread), and Tofu curry. My personal favorite was the eggplant and tofu chips! The sauce the Dhooloma Tsel-chu is just fabulous!! We will be back“

“Looking to beat the heat so we headed to Berkeley for lunch. Got the Pastrami Ruskie with Latke. Sooooo good. Huge portions. Friendly service. They were out of Prosecco so they couldn’t make me their Old Man & The Deli. Got a margarita and it was both tasty & packed a punch.“

You can see some of the menu on the window outside as you wait in line (there will almost always be a line), and you can peek in and see the day’s selection of breads and pastries. Only two parties at a time fit inside to order. There’s a small parking lot in front and more parking behind. I highly recommend the seasonal focaccia pizzas! An pain epi, just yum.“

“Yesterday I had the pleasure of walking into this family owned establishment, The environment was clean, and the people were very kind. The menu was exceptional with great prices. I got the chicken Marcella, the naan, and the salmon which was the daily special. The chicken Masala was perfectly spiced. I got the mild because I can't eat spicy food. I dipped the naan in it and it tasted perfect. The naan was big and fresh and its own separate bag, so I was able to take it home and munch on it later now the salmon was delicious. It was super crispy and juicy on the inside, and the seasoning was complementary to the fish. it was wonderful to be able to talk to the Chef and get to know the people that cooked my food. The chef that's been working there. He's on the establishment for a while and he's been cooking for over 40 years. He also told me that he is from New York, which definitely shows in his food because this Indian Pakistani restaurant is definitely authentic. I will drive an hour and a half to come back here again. Definitely would recommend them for Catering or a nice dinner date.“

“Beautiful, creative and delicious cupcakes! I got 4 cupcakes for my brother's birthday and it was put in a beautiful case to prevent them from flipping over. They have fun flavors like peach and key lime! I got a chance to taste the standard one which is the red velvet. The key to good cupcakes to me is the moisture of the cake and the right sweet/creaminess of the frosting. Capcakin definitely hits the mark! The price of cupcakes here is reasonable given that many things are expensive these days. Highly recommended if you celebrate any occasions or you just want to be happy eating good cupcakes :)“

The Marg with vegan pepperoni is like no other pizza I've tasted in my 10 years in California. The sauce! The cheese! The vegan pepperoni! The combination of these ingredients makes this pizza sing. The crust was lovely too. If I were to grumble about one thing, it would be the cost. The pizza, delivery, and tip ran $50. But honestly, I'd pay the same thing again (and likely will) for this delicious wonder, because the ingredients were quality and it was scrumptious. I am especially inclined to support Pizzeria da Laura because it is a fabulous woman-owned business. Grazi!“

Among smoothie bowl places that i’ve been visited in Bay Area, this place has one of the most aesthetically pleasing bowls.
