“Excellent food, atmosphere and great place to eat before wine tasting! ❤️”
“LaSalette was a fantastic experience. The restaurant is beautiful both inside and outside, with a warm, charming atmosphere that’s perfect for a date or a small family gathering. I came on a Thursday evening, and it had a relaxed, welcoming vibe.
I ordered the Portuguese-style chicken with Spanish rice, and it was delicious. The flavors were authentic, well balanced, and the portion was just right.
The staff were kind, attentive, and professional throughout the meal. I highly recommend LaSalette if you’re visiting Sonoma and looking for a memorable dining experience.”

“Another winery recommended we visit this winery in Sonoma because of it's story, culture, and quality. Six of us did and it did not dissappoint. Jimmy did a wonderful job of sharing the family history, as well as the history of the winery. He also recommended great wines for us to sample and consider for purchase. I'm glad we availed ourselves to learning about how our Mexican brothers worked the fields, learned the business and became and expert, purchased land, started his on winery, and served two U.S. Presidents (Obama and Bush) and the California Gov (Swarzenegger). Oh, the wine is GREAT!”
“We had an incredible wine-tasting experience at Walt’s in Sonoma, and so much of that was thanks to our wonderful host, Debbi.
Debbi was incredibly knowledgeable about the wines and took the time to explain everything in a way that was interesting, approachable, and easy to understand. She was friendly, warm, and exceptionally patient, never making us feel rushed as we tasted and asked questions.
What really stood out was how attentive she was to what we liked. She offered thoughtful suggestions based on our questions and preferences, and she even went above and beyond by recommending some great options for dinner in the area.
Debbi made the entire experience feel personal rather than just another wine tasting. Her knowledge, enthusiasm, and genuine hospitality made our visit truly memorable. We would absolutely recommend Walt’s, and if you have the opportunity to taste with Debbi, you’re in for a fantastic experience!
Thank you, Debbi, for making our Sonoma visit even more special!”
“The best winery in California! I would like to thank Don for making the visit spectacular he went out the way to greet us and he was so friendly. I highly recommend anyone who is looking to taste wine and check out the founder and history of wine in the US it’s very intresting.”

“Went to an event here and got to meet the brewers and beer tenders and it was an amazing experience rounded out by delicious beer. The friendly staff will lead you to their great selections based on the style of beer you like. A fun crew and great beer! Visit Sonoma Springs Brewing soon if you haven't had a chance!! Also excited to find them at our local supermarkets in Santa Rosa!!”

“We were recommended to visit by a few people and made a reservation. Theresa made it the best and most knowledgeable tasting experience. She gave us time, explained the history and wines, we saw the caves. It’s a very nice winery, great property and Theresa made it even better! We also enjoyed time with the winery pup Yara.
Thanks for making our anniversary trip so special!”

“I liked foods here that I don’t like normally at all. The servers are friendly and accommodating to everything we asked for.”

“Just finished a wonderful coffee date! Absolutely loved my drink and treat. I highly recommend the cardamom and brown sugar latte. Not too sweet but just right. The almond cake with ganache was so good! Great customer service and very friendly. We will definitely be back!”
“GO HERE!!!! We were at McCarthur across the street and hands down this is the best burger I've had in years so I'm glad we crossed the street. They also gave us some house made sauce for free that was amazing. Plenty of seating to also enjoy the meal. Super small menu but they know what they're good at!”
“Lou's Luncheonette in Sonoma nails the exact diner vibe you’d expect, and the food is absolutely delicious. The smash burger was phenomenal, my only regret is that I didn't order more of it! The fried chicken and biscuits were amazing too, and the fries made for a really nice pairing with everything. You definitely need to sit outside to maximize your day out in Sonoma. It’s a great setup, and you even get to watch the nearby goats hang out while you eat. This is the perfect spot for a casual, tasty meal!”
“I have enjoyed the menu at sweet pea bakery for several years now. When I was going through some medical issues, my daughter from out of town kindly bought me a gift certificate to sweet pea and send it to me via email unfortunately, sweet pea staff was not able to figure out how to use a digital gift certificate And I was unable to use it. I was disappointed that I couldn’t use it, but more disappointed that they did not offer me money back on the gift certificate.”
“i loved the outdoor seating giving a rustic bar feel under the trees. the food comes from good local farms and i would suggest them to stop using seed oils for frying and cooking. it’s toxic. causes diabetes. they could also make the bread with a 3 day cold ferment that will remove all the sugars so there’s no spike in your sugar and insulin. just some health tips.”
“Absolutely phenomenal! An odyssey of wine & cheese pairings, and a great and very approachable introduction to the intricate world of wine. Definitely exceeded our expectations. Lloyd was the perfect guide!”
“Congratulations to this boutique winery! Their reds are smooth, pleasant and maturing. The story of passion and legacy will keep their production going for many years! Looking forward to returning.!”

“Liz B. gave a very informative and personalized tour experience! We enjoyed the vineyard on the ATV, the cellars and tasting room together with her and ended up with the 2019 Bordeaux blend to take home; Momtazee.”
“TBH, I was a little hesitant about getting on this trolley when we booked. I had come to wine country 25 years ago, and was fortunate enough to stay on property, at several vineyards overnight. I was spoiled. So if you’re hesitant, let me tell you something… It was absolutely incredible! From start to finish, Sonoma Valley Wine Trolley rolled out the red carpet for each one of us. I highly recommend! Special shout out to Paul who was our driver and tour guide for the day, He’s extremely knowledgeable and was super invested to make sure that we each had the very best experience.”
“Excellent Pinot Noirs, Neil is terrific.”

Takeout Restaurants
“This place is fantastic! Very unassuming compared to how delicious it is. Ordered two smoothies - both fresh and delicious! We also split the Napa Turkey with side salad and I want to eat it all the time. Even the side salad which was just greens and a light dressing was phenomenal.”
“We had a fantastic meal and dining experience at Shige! It's somewhat of a hole-in-the-wall place in a shopping center, but my fiance and I agreed it's the best sushi we've had in NorCal!! We tried the Redwood, Crunchy, Eel Bomb, and Dragon rolls and they were all fresh and delicious. My fiance said their karaage is the best he's ever had! We'll be back 💕”
“The food is absolutely delicious my friend recommended it and I do not regret his taste in food whatsoever, never have , The service is so nice so polite and make it just the way you want it, a shame it's only in Fresno for now, I really hope you guys end up coming to Madera more often we would love a stand like this here.
Keep up the good work
It's a 5 Star for me thank you guys
Peace and blessings 🕊️”
“The food here was DELICIOUS! The chorizo con huevo and the carnitas plate was what me and my boyfriend ordered!! The chorizo had a unique taste with a good little kick to it! The carnitas were perfectly cooked and had a perfect texture to it! Nice and soft on the inside and a good crunch on the outside and the salsas!! QUE RICO!!”
“What a hidden gem! Every single wine we had here floored me and punches well above its weight, especially the field blends and the moon mountain cab. Idoia was a fantastic and knowledgeable host who guided us through the tastings. We ended up buying the most wine here out of all the wineries we visited!”

“Buck's Place looks like a dive bar from the front, but in back is Sonoma's best pizzeria. Whenever my wife and I wanted a simple date on a Friday night, we'd do house cocktails and a pizza at Buck's. The outdoor seating had a villa feel to it, and the old arcade machines in the back corner were a fun diversion.”
“Anytime you pass Peet’s Coffee on Broadway, something small seems to shift. One day it’s a red bicycle with sunflowers tied to the frame. Another, a dog waiting outside with excitement, or friends exchanging the greeting by the door.
The place itself stays consistent - clean lines, black beams, coffee that arrives without fuss and does exactly what it should. People move through with purpose. Orders are placed, names are called, the door opens and closes again. People sit, people wait, people scroll through the phones… sometimes chat. The ordinary day.
But it’s the little moments that give it personality.
Maybe you don’t plan to stop. And then, somehow, you do…
*Founded in Berkeley in 1966, Peet’s built its reputation on darker, more robust roasts long before specialty coffee became mainstream in California. That influence still shows - a straightforward, no-nonsense approach to coffee that feels more about habit than spectacle, fitting easily into the everyday rhythm of the neighborhood.
It fits into Sonoma the way good habits do - quietly, and without announcement. Anna-Mari. Double macchiato with milk.”
“We were very happy with the service provided by Los 3 Hermanos at our recent company event for 150 people. The food was great, and orders were filled swiftly.Erika and her crew were very organized and friendly. We definitely hope to use Los 3 Hermanos for future events.”
“Supreme Sweets and Christina Danner don't need my recommendation. Christina's artistry is unreal—or maybe oh so real. You might not want to cut into the masterpieces she creates, but then you taste what she baked you and you end up in the oh so apropos conundrum of wanting to have your cake and eat it too. Good luck when you get to that part of the experience she creates. You might need your therapist on speed-dial.”
“A watering hole for the locals, it's a charming place with a jukebox to select your music. Dan, the bartender, is a nice guy who can provide a helpful ear if you wanna unburden yourself. Dan also makes a mean blood mary, which is described as the best in town on the directory board. I agree with that ad, twas a bloody good bloody mary ! You get a shrimp with it !!!!It's a small place with about 3-4 booths and easy to miss when walking in Sonoma downtown. We found it only coz it was 9:30pm and this was one of the few places open. FYI, its open till late night. Preferably, walk to this place. The locals are friendly and provide good stories you can sit and provide half an ear to when watching basketball or ice hockey. If you are interested, you can even watch star trek TNG.No food is available here though except for packaged chips. But deftly a lovely place to end your day at.A for sure return visit for me next time I'm in sonoma downtown.
Parking: Parking is on the street around the town square which can fill up pretty quickly. And its only a 2-3 hour parking.”
“I've been coming down from Sacramento to this bar for 3 almost 4 years now .. and I hope I continue .. yes it's that good of a spot!”

“I love this place, grew up going here, I make the effort to stop by every time im back on the mainland. I will say im not thrilled with the small cuts, but im thinking I got the wrong bags as most of the stack was the huge and wonderful meat sticks. And yes, I know they would ship a box out to me, but that takes all the fun out of it.”
“I was going here every day with my husband, both of us getting a large every day for about 2 months after discovering this new gem... and probably still would be except that we both realized that we were putting on the pounds. ? Everything in moderation I guess, but we love these boba drinks! My husband's favorite is the brown sugar milk one, and I don't really have a favorite, but I recommend the blended dragon elixir, the tropical blended, the strawberry dream, the peaches 'n' cream, or the strawberry matcha! You really can't go wrong because you can control the sweetness of the drink, you can control how filling it is due to the types and amount of boba that you get...”
“Just left Ricci Vineyards and it was such a good experience. This winery is 5 generations deep and so authentic! Their story is unique and the vineyards are definitely worth a visit. Tyler had such good information and honestly, such a good history of every bottle. The Chardonnay will shock you, literally!! I am not even a Chardonnay fan, but I went home with multiple bottles. A few of their wines received 90+ points from James Suckling. You can’t beat it.
Even though, it’s small and not as known as some of the other wineries around, I definitely think you should call up Ricci Vineyards and make your appointment. It’s free, what do you have to lose?
Also, they have a brandy coming soon?? I mean c’mon a wine tasting followed by a brandy tasting? Winning.
A family experience is always better than a overhyped commercialized experience.”
“Great food, great service and unbeatable prices. Every item on the menu is a five star. Good selection of wines and cocktails.”
“I love it here. The wines and property are fabulous. What makes the experience amazing are the people who work here. They are smiling and happy and their service is always exceptional. Thank you Adam, Ty, Kerryann, Tucker, and Vasan!”

“Had lunch there today with 3 of my friends. We are all locals. It was such a lovely experience! Food was delicious…. I’m a vegetarian and had no problem choosing my dish…. There are also Vegan dishes available. The atmosphere is relaxing and the service was excellent. I must mention the French Fries…. There are several restaurants in Sonoma that serve delicious fries but these are the best. I’m looking forward to many more enjoyable meals there!”

“Wow! Yum! This was a wonderful and pleasant surprise. We stopped in after Happy Hour, which I am sure would be amazing! We ordered two craft cocktails - a Whiskey Sour and a Watermelon Margarita which had some heat to it. Our server Marco recommended it. It was the best! You were definitely right Marco! We also had ordered the nachos. These aren’t your ordinary nachos! These nachos have birria and every topping you can imagine! Very clean, high end type of Mexican food- not heavy and greasy! So happy! I only wished I was more hungry so I could order other dishes. This restaurant has other dishes to accommodate those in your party who may not like Mexican food (I know! How could that be?) So don’t worry! There is something for everyone! We met the owner Kina who was busy expediting the orders to the various servers. She did take the time to speak with us. We were highly impressed with Kina and the way the restaurant and staff was operating. The only bad thing we could say is, we are so sorry we don’t live in Sonoma as we would be able to enjoy this restaurant all the time. We will definitely be coming back before we return to our home in Ojai. As it is, we are up in Sonoma a couple of times a year and plan to make Kina’s Kitchen & Bar a regular stop for us!”
“Review I am on a flight returning to Nashville and already longing to return to Sonoma. Not for the wine, weather and topography, although all of these made for a lovely trip with my husband. No, I want to return for one reason only - so that I can experience Animo one more time. The unusual combination of flavors and ingredients, expertly cooked and beautifully presented were nothing short of remarkable. I’ve never had a meal like it and suspect I’ll never have another without returning. This husband and wife team cook and serve with all the spirit and commitment required to create this kind of wonder. We started with the lobster, shared the ribeye and ended with the cheesecake. Each dish was not as expected. All were perfection. If you only have one night in Sonoma, this is where you should go.”

“We were able to snag same day dinner reservations for 6ppl after wine tasting. It's located in Sonoma Square so easily walking distance from our hotel, wine tasting, bars, eateries and shopping. We shared some appetizers and had dinner. Service was prompt and good. The food was delicious and the company even better!
I'd go back to stay in Sonoma and try other dishes at the Sonoma Grille.
I love that we walked everywhere and did not have to drive. If you are driving in for the day, there is parking on each block.”

“We stayed at the Lodge at Sonoma for my son’s wedding. My son invited me to breakfast here for bottomless mimosas and an amazing breakfast. Loved the Hispanic flair on the breakfast options. Delicious. Also stopped for some appetizers in the afternoon and they were very good. Staff was very friendly and attentive.”
“We had an amazing experience at Enclos. The tasting menu is fantastic, the team is friendly and attentive. Great to be able to have an incredible 3 star experience right here in Sonoma!!”
