“Rudra Indian Bistro on Cedar Lane is authentic as it gets. We have been here so many times and will always keep coming back because the food is high quality, healthy, and very delicious. We always start with the House Salad which is a great way to begin your meal. The Tandoori chicken is so juicy and succulent, and the Lamb Korma is one of our favorites. I highly recommend Rudra Indian Bistro! One of the best restaurants of Teaneck...”

“So this was the first time we're eating at Sheinkin, loved the vibe and atmosphere in the restaurant from the moment we walked in.
The service is great and friendly.
The food was delicious.
My only point of disappointment was the very short menu, we expected more variety and choices to pick from.
Other than that, we had a good time, came out with a full stomach, but not sure we will go there again, just because of the short list of items to choose from.
Overall it's a great place and you should definitely check it out.
Last thing - prices were just right, not expensive at all, i was surprised when the bill came just about $400 for a party of 8.”

“Place is a hidden treasure. Food is outstanding! The waiters were very welcoming, funny and very attentive without rushing us before we could ask for anything they were right there. The owner is super sweet with a beautiful personality. He makes you feel welcomed from the moment you walk in. The food was phenomenal every dish was seasoned perfectly and portions were plentiful. The prices very reasonable for the service and food quality they provide. This is so far our favorite Italian cuisine restaurant I'm so glad we live close by we will be back. “We don’t dine out frequently, but when we do, we love Amarone! We had not been there in quite some time, so we went to celebrate my birthday. From the moment one enters, one feels welcome. The atmosphere combines elegance and comfort, warmth, and the delectable aroma of culinary delights to come. Charming, funny, and attentive, Tony provided us with excellent service. The food was fantastic. We started with the clams oreganata. The white wine sauce made an excellent accompaniment. My husband had the ribeye steak accompanied by shrimp scampi, broccolini, and mashed potatoes. I tried the grilled veal chop. With mixed vegetables and roasted potatoes, it was superb. We will be back!”

“My new favorite neighborhood pub. Been coming here since it was the Cottage Inn, new ownership has upgraded this place in the TVs, variety of sports available, food, and the service is always great. “Appreciation post😃 Since 4 days my freshly turned teenage daughter has been saying one thing when I ask her what you want to do on New Year’s Eve …” I want to have kudos bubble tea as the last thing I drink in 2022”. It’s been a tough few months for her and i wanted to make sure she gets her wish. So yesterday morning I called kudos. Asked when they will close for the day. They said 10pm. We scheduled all our plans in such a way that at 9pm we go and get the much anticipated bubble tea. At 9 my husband, son and daughter headed out to kudos… only to find that they have closed at 7 for a private event. This is my back story. On the other side of the story… which probably has its own back story… Cherie the owner had shut the bakery as her daughter wanted to celebrate with her friends and family. As a mother myself I can totally understand that. When she saw my family she informed them that they are closed. But when she heard we had called in morning and saw my daughters dejected face… she opened her doors. Made a quick bubble tea and even gave some extra cookies as a New Years treat. My kids came back so happy saying “mommy it was a holiday miracle!” Thank you Kudo Society Cafe. For providing us one last 2022 miracle. Thank you Cherie for understanding. We have been Kudos patrons since it was at palisades park but now we are die hard advocating neighbors of yours. Ps: pic of the cookie treat. My son ate the red velvet on way home.”

“Holy moly this was INCREDIBLE. Amazing food, the skewers are great but their appetizers are so good too. Too many things that we wanted to try so we have to come back again. It is pricier (we spent around $40 a person without ordering alcohol) but totally worth it. Recommend the fried shishito and fried baby crab for appetizers and chicken neck and chicken thigh/green onion although all the skewers we had were good. I don't drink but a lot of the menu I'm sure would be great with their beer. I also appreciate how the menu has very traditional Japanese izakaya items without worrying about what people unfamiliar with it would think (items like cartilage or liver that most westernized places would never put on the menu).
It's a small place that fills up fast so getting a reservation is recommended. And groups larger than 4 might be tough”

“If you have a taste, for some great home cooking, make your way to Maggie's! A small family run joint, where the food is made with soul and love! The meatloaf, yams and greens, are crave worthy and the cabbage, mac n cheese and ribs will make you wish you bought more! I have eaten Soul Food, from way South to NYC, in homes and restaurants and Maggie's rates up there with some of the most delicious, I've had. As they say down South, "they put their feet in that food"!!!”

“All things considered a pretty good deal for all you can eat sushi. Only thing was I understand businesses need to make money. Every piece of nigiri came out so immensely packed with rice that it was hard to actually enjoy the fish with it. Again I get it they need to make sure people eat less but when it comes at the expense of the actual meal then its detrimental. Normally youd dip soy sauce on the fish. In this instance I didnt even taste the soy sauce due to having just so much rice”

“They were short staffed but the owners were so cute and attentive as possible. We had a larger group and ordered several items which were all delicious. The flavors weren’t extremely different from each other, even the spiciest wasn’t that spicy but the crispy outer layer of the chicken was perfect along with the tiny hint of spice. My personal fav was the galbi kimbab. Please support this local business! They even let us turn on the tv to play the Knicks game. What more can you ask for?”

Great for business meetings, snacks, spot to work, best coffee around, best pastries around, beautiful/relaxing atmosphere, excellent service, and I could go on and on. Just being inside settles me and reduces my stress level. Anyone I bring states that it's one of their new favorite places. Try the spinach/cheese croissant, but leave one for me. :) 😀...Oh, and for my vegan and gluten free friends, there are loads of options for you here.”

I called a 11 ice cream cake shops in the area only to be told that it was impossible without the right mold. One place even asked me to order a mold for them and they would see if they could make the cake but wanted to charge double for the effort. I randomly found this Carvel in Hackensack and after explaining what I wanted, one of the staff members brainstormed ways to make the cake come to life. I sent them a picture and out came the best rocket ship ice cream cake that anyone had ever eaten! The cake looked beautiful, tasted delicious and most importantly, my child was super happy. She mentioned the food was the best in the area (there are a number of other Jamaican restaurants in the area) but they can run out of food and it gets busy at lunch times, so I avoided it. Today I tried and we found parking lot made parking easy. Service was prompt and the food was much better than some of other places nearby including a chain restaurant. Jerk pork was very tender and the rice and beans were excellent. Others in our party loved the chicken and shrimp pasta specials. Will have to try some other dishes. (I worked nearby but never tried it sooner because I was warned about crowds but it was not that crowded and we were served promptly. I would not go for atmosphere but the servers were friendly.”

“Roberto’s has the best pizza anyone can buy. I travel 40 mins away just to get some of the pizza from there. I’ve had so many birthdays/friend get togethers here. All the staff are absolutely awesome, very outgoing, and friendly. I grew up living in Teaneck then moved here to West Milford where pizza can never compare 😆 I grew up going to Colleseum pizza and Roberto’s kept the magic alive with the same traditional style pizza. I’ve brought so many there and every single person can’t wait to go back, while also taking their own trips down there for some delicious pizza. Word on this place really needs to be spread around to show the gold mine off for what it is. It should be way bigger than just Teaneck and that’s saying something. Teaneck has always had great food/pizzerias, but this one takes the cake though.”

“OMG! This is by far the best pizza place in Teaneck, and for me? The best I’ve ever tasted. I have ordered pizza and dishes from here for more than 10 years now. When I lived in Teaneck I would eat here and take my family of 5 here all the time. After the games and my daughters cheer at Teaneck High school, this was the place to go. Now they are married adults with children of their own and when they visit me, the pizza is from Victors. I now live in Englewood but I place my order, and they deliver. Always on time. The gentleman on the phone, that almost always takes my order? He’s a sweetie, that’s what he calls me. He’s so polite and always makes sure my order is right. Sometimes finishes my sentence cause he already knows it’s me by my voice, love that! I give this place a 5 star because of the service, good delicious pizza and food and because the staff is very polite and friendly. The cook I don’t know him but he gets an additional 5 stars from me. I love how he makes the chicken and broccoli with garlic sauce😋perfecto!!!!”
