I think this is the best pizza in Ithaca and it will be my go to place from now on! About a month ago I had an issue with a Door Dash order and Nate went above and beyond to make it right.”

“Just tried Mama Said Hand Pies for the first time… I started with a maple cold brew. It was made like the employee really cared that I enjoyed it - carefully combined and stirred and not overpacked with ice like other places do so that you only get a few sips of coffee before it’s a cup of ice left. And the cold brew itself was very smooth. Then I got the spinach egg and cheese hand pie. I initially thought they looked kind of small but they’re super filling so I was pretty full after one. The flavor was so good and the crust was fresh and buttery and crispy. I also got the sausage gravy and egg hand pie which was heavenly. And even though I was completely stuffed after two, I did try the cherry hand pie and loved the almond glaze on top of it. Can’t wait to go back to try the other flavors!”

“Silo Fried Chicken – Food Truck Battle Edition Crispy, flavor-packed bird that came with “Truck Gravy” so good I briefly considered using it as skincare. The strawberry lemonade was fizzy which isnt my thing—but that’s a me problem. Ate it at their mobile bar like a civilized human. The owner? Cool as hell. I’d follow this truck like it owes me money.”

“I drove down from Cape Vincent to meet one of my best friends from college who was in the area for a family wedding. I was completely blown away by my meal. The waitress was incredible. I had the Chilean sea bass and it literally melted in my mouth. The salad with fresh fruit and a raspberry vinaigrette was outstanding. We ordered coffee and I was brought a little tray with fresh whipped cream, as well as other delightful garnishes. Finally… the mile high carrot cake!! Pure bliss. Thank you for a truly memorable experience. And I was so grateful that we weren’t rushed. We don’t get to see each other frequently and it was a blessing to just spend time together.”

“Pretty authentic Chinese food, especially of the Szechuan cuisine. One cool thing about Spicy Asian is that they can accommodate larger groups than other Chinese spots in Ithaca. We came here with around 20 people after church, and they had no problem serving us all! 🍽️”

My only suggestion would be some other drink options. Soda, lemonade, something. There was only a small wine fridge with old fashioned black cherry soda, orange, ginger beer, some sletzer water. Some traditional coke/pepsi etc would be nice.”

It's high end without being stuffy and homey without being kitschy, the best of all worlds come together at Argos Inn!”

Steak was cooked perfectly, tender and juicy but like others have mentioned, it was a bit salty but for me I liked it. I wasn't wowed by it which would be expected for the price but it was good. Mac and cheese was good nothing special about it. My wife got the mac and cheese with smoked brisket. She was not happy. The brisket was very grizzly and hard to chew. The jalapenos over powered everything and it was dry. Overall it was very pricey without any wow factor and or anything that makes me want to come back again.”

Rashida Sawyer Bakery stepped up and promptly delivered my order and I was told that the cupcakes were excellent. Not only were they extremely helpful, their prices were very reasonable as well. Some of the specials are a very good value. The old 3-for-$10 special is gone; it's now $11 and has a limited choice of entrees. It's still a good value, and the hamburger may be the best in Ithaca.

Consider what's on the TV screens before you sit, and ask to sit facing something you want to see. Otherwise (perish the thought) you'll have to make conversation with your tablemates...unless you brought a smartphone.”

“My boyfriend and I went here together for the very first time and had an amazing experience. The food was fresh, the service was quick and our waitress was very kind. The only drawback to our experience was the manchild in the restaurant when we arrived. He was sitting at a table with 2 others dining in as we were, and decided that screaming at the waitress, the chef, and 2 other employees was an appropriate course of action after there was a misunderstanding when he and my boyfriend ordered something similar and the manchild was accidentally brought the wrong dish. With an air of not so subtle racism, he accused them of doing it on purpose, and demanded all of their meals (his as well as his other two very unfortunate dining companions) be completely comped, to which the other unfortunate people dining with the manchild, all completely horrified of his behavior, paid their tab and wanted to leave quickly. The employees at the establishment handled the situation SO professionally and immediately did everything to remedy the situation, which made our experience there even better. We ordered food to go, and will definitely be recommending this location to others and returning here our next time in Ithaca. Hopefully manchild will stay at home and cook his own food next time- and again- kudos to the lovely staff at Saigon!”

“Quaint restaurant good for brunch breakfast and lunch. Interesting artifacts showing the history of coal being that this is an old coal weighing station. Order at the counter and they bring the food out to you right away. Park is a little tough as a lot of small and can only hold about six cars but we were lucky this time and parked in the small lot. Super friendly staff and very good food.”

You can find the specific offerings and times online, but otherwise can expect their usual stir-fry noodles, pizza/pasta, salad bar, something Asian-themed, something Western, continental offerings, and baked goods + ice cream for dessert. If you like variety, quantity, and value, this is the place for you. If you like strong flavors and exotic dishes, keep away.

P.S. the Sunday Brunch is usually the besylt meal.”

“My visit yesterday was great for the most part. I went in around 6:30 and placed an order on the kiosk and this taller brown haired guy and short blonde haired girl got my order out very fast and were very polite. Food was hot and made perfectly. There was a tall kid with very long dirty blonde hair and NO hair net which was very unsightly. He also had his pants sagging and smelled of marijuana. He put on a “roll it up” marijuana sweatshirt and went outdoors in the middle of making food, and upon leaving I saw him by the dumpster and he was visibly smoking marijuana. Looks like this store has some great staff but sadly also has some kids who just don’t care about their job or anybody but themselves. Luckily my food wasn’t made by this kid.”
