Our family had a great time at S+S. our mother was in town and she wanted some NW Seafood and S+S was one of the only ones left open a little later and they were able to squeeze in a table of 5 for us! We had a couple starters including the oysters (YUM) and we all had various entrees and concluded with the Amaretto cake with cherry ice. We'll definitely be back!
Love the food. I have been weekly since it opened almost 2.5yrs ago. Food and Beverage menus change regularly enough to keep you interested - they typically keep the fan favorites. Staff is always great!!
Attended an alumni dinner here in The Hive and have to say I was surprised! The food was amazing and WELL beyond what I was expecting for a group meal in a hotel. The family style sides and entrees were incredible (rockfish and NY steak, both excellent) but the tiramisu was the showstopper. Not my favorite dessert but they nailed it here. I will definitely go back to experience the restaurant itself.
This place was fantastic! We found this with a recommendation from Google. Being that it had good reviews we gave it a hot.. I'm SO glad we did! We got the Scallops, steak and Rockfish dinners, as well as the truffle fries.. all were amazing. The wait staff was great, very friendly and not in a fake way. Our server and all the supporting people (like people that filled our water) were on point and we weren't left waiting g for anything. When we come back to Seattle this is definitely a place we will revisit!
Sitting at the counter is a great place for a date. The cooks make good small talk and explain the ingredients and really make for a great experience in addition to the excellent food. All the dishes have great presentation.

Friendly staff. Line moves quickly. Got a half crab roll, half salmon roll and the sampler of New England, Salmon, Lobster/Crab/Corn and Clam/Oyster chowder. New England is the hands down winner. Salmon chowder was interesting but I'm not a big capers guy. If you like capers and salmon then this is your payday. The crab roll was fresh but nothing special. Smoked Salmon roll was unique and satisfying, if you don't live in the area and love smoked salmon like I do, don't sleep on it.
I ordered their award winning Boston Chowder. It richly deserves all the accolades. Its the best I've ever had. Highly recommended. They also have a sampler order where you can get 4 little cups of different types of chowder. That seemed to be a best seller because a Lot of people were eating it. The lady at the next table got one and said that she liked the Boston the best. But they have a New England (I think that was it) and also salmon that looked darned good.
Came here on a Thursday for lunch and wow was this worth the wait! The line was long but was only about 30 minutes. For two people, we ordered the chowder sampler which came with a choice of any four chowders (we had the New England Clam chowder, smoked salmon chowder, seared scallop chowder and the market chowder which was lobster + corn), as well as half a Dungeness Crab Roll. The New England chowder was SO DELICIOUS and my favorite! It was so flavorful with perfect amounts of fresh seafood, bacon and potatoes inside. I wasn't too fond of the smoked salmon chowder, as it was a bit acidic. The crab roll was also incredibly fresh and tasty. All the chowders come with bread, and even the bread was freshly made + soft! Plenty of seating available inside as well, and the service was great. Overall it was a bit expensive but so amazing-- so if you're in pike place this is a must!
The chowder is delicious but that line is not. There's another location in Pacific Place mall. I usually order the sampler chowders and take it to eat in the park near the waterfront. It's super busy in the Summer so I advise coming in the Winter when it makes most sense to eat chowder anyways.
My friends and I ordered 2 samplers, so we got a total of 4 New England Clam Chowders, a Market Chowder (lobster and crab), Seared Scallop Chowder, and Smoked Salmon Chowder, which all came with a side of sourdough bread. You can also grab some oyster crackers on the side. We all loved the New England Clam Chowder. Still the #1 clam chowder throughout my food life experiences. We also enjoyed the Seared Scallop Chowder, but were not particularly fond of the smoked salmon chowder, relative to the others. We waited around 30 minutes, but it was definitely worth the wait. I fullheartedly recommend the New England Clam Chowder.

The setting is what I love in the Pioneer Square location. It's a small brick interior with long booths on the wall and one large booth in the back. There is a small bar area on the right and a standing area in front. I've always had great oysters here and the service is great. The wait staff is friendly and ours recommended the wine and beer with perfect descriptions. The Oyster stew is my favorite. It's a creamy celery broth with tender cooked oysters in it. The beet and wedge salads were fantastic. I want to check out the other locations.
While on a work trip to Seattle for three weeks, coworkers and I were trying to find somewhere to eat raw oysters. After trying Taylor Shellfish Oyster Bar, we went back 3 times during our stay. They had a great selection of oysters and we tried just about every meal on the menu. Everything was FANTASTIC. The waitress knew exactly what she was talking about when it came to describing the oysters and the menu. I was very impressed with the service, food, and the environment. Can't wait to go back to Seattle to eat there again!
I got the shuckers dozen. Oysters are out of season but these were great anyway. We sat at the bar and watched the team work. The shuckers were very particular about what they would serve. I must have watched them dump 1 out of every 3 as sub par. Yeah you pay a little more than some other places but the quality was great. Will have to bring guests here and will definitely come back.
Excellent food and service. The oysters were amazing IMO and pretty large as well. Would recommend!
Always delicious seafood! Shared the prawn cocktail and ordered oyster stew for the perfect lunch (with a side of bread of course!). Would definitely stop by if in the area. This location is also the largest so they have other food options compared to Melrose market / cap Hill (such as the oyster po' boy) and more seating.

Awesome little place. It was my first time. I went with the prawn sandwich. Hard to eat but worth the effort. Great staff. Great food. 17$ for a sandwich and drink.
I had the clam chowder and the world famous blackened salmon sandwich. The sandwich was okay but the clam chowder was amazing. So good I'm going to try to get it again before I go home.
Not a place to linger, but a place to eat deliciously fresh grilled fish fast in the middle of Pike market. I had the halibut sandwich on recommendation from a friend. It was good, if a bit small for $18, that + $2 for a can of Coke got me fed and in and out in a hurry. If you want views, service, and side dishes... Go someplace else.
The most amazing grilled salmon sandwich ever. The fish was cooked to juicy tender perfection, the bread was blackened beautifully, and the toppings were great! I must bring my boyfriend here.
Food was excellent, quick and they cooked it right in front of us. Priced good as well. Staff was very nice. Would recommend

Had great starters; oysters and charcuterie and then a great bouillabaisse. A great view across the bay too. Very professional, knowledgeable and friendly staff.
Beautiful ambiance, it is tucked away but has tons of natural light and a lovely view of the water. All the seafood comes fresh from the market across the street. Favorite dish was the bitter greens salad - the duck leg was also great.
Romantic view with Ferris wheel. Also food was good enough.
Amazing dinner and options. My boyfriend had the venison and said it was the best steak he has ever had. The rabbit was exquisite as well. Great service and a wonderful spot for a date.
The food was out of this world. Probably one of the best I had since I moved to Seattle!
