“February 10th, 2023 was such a tiring day. I had classes at UCW till late and, as a good hungry taurine, I had to eat something delicious to make me feel well. Also, it had to be mandatorily vegan, so I would also keep my mind in peace. While searching for a restaurant with vegan options, I saw this sushi one, called Cofu Pressed Sushi. It was not far from UCW Vancouver House (around 15 minutes by bus) and it would be open till 9:00 PM. So, I decided to go there. I called my husband and we met there. The restaurant is not that large, and they have just a few tables, just the way I like it. But the best, in my opinion, was that it was so clean, fragrant, and decorated with such a good neatness that I felt a cozy mood as soon as I entered. Nevertheless, we were very well welcomed by the server, and he explained the whole menu to us. Besides they former factors I mentioned, the latter is the most important in my opinion. The way I am hosted and treated in any commercial place makes the whole difference in my final perception. I took the Aichi combo from the Omakase Menu. This combo had plant-based tuna (made of jackfruit), tofu, avocado, fresh mix veggie, and a sauce made of vivid beets and spicy mayo. As for my husband, he chose the Ofu combo. It had plant-based salmon (made of carrot and konjac), pumpkin, eggplant, red & yellow bell pepper, and a sauce made of cilantro, cucumber, and wild carrot. As the picture shows, the dish presentations were so beautiful, showing the food as something delicate, that the sushi master really took care of it. Last, but not least, the taste. It was so delicious! Every bite mattered to me. I was hungry, but I took every sushi slowly to feel all flavours and had the best sensory experience. For some the amount of food may look little, but I guarantee it made me fill satisfied. As a whole, I felt really delighted and I wish to return there soon to order the other options.“

“Food is great, but I noticed with delivery that the sandwich is kinda soggy lately. Great portions though. I know it’s tricky commuting distances with food but perhaps toasting the bun more? The tofu used to be crispier too - now it’s typically quite soft and mushy. Also I really miss the bao options :( my partner and I used to order the bao all the time it was so delicious. Please bring the bao back!“

“I had a wonderful experience at Chickpea Restaurant. The drinks were excellent and the food was incredibly delicious. I honestly had one of the best falafels I’ve ever tried — perfectly crispy on the outside and flavorful on the inside. The hummus was also very fresh, smooth, and absolutely delicious. Everything tasted well-prepared and full of flavor. If you enjoy Middle Eastern food, I highly recommend giving Chickpea Restaurant a try. I’ll definitely be coming back!“

Surprise after surprise, it will make you live a real culinary experience! And our waiter (fluently bilingual) was excellent and vey passionate! “Overall experience here was great! The food was super fresh, customer service was on point as expected and the atmosphere was incredibly lively. There’s so much happening here which can get a bit overwhelming, especially with all of the clashing sounds. You’ve got the main music, birthday celebrations with tambourines and the hand pulled noodle guy that walks around with his own speaker! On top of that, it’s also incredibly busy. The only thing that genuinely made my table uncomfortable was the noodle guy. He came to our table and hit our friend in the face and head with the noodle multiple times. At first it was funny, but as it kept going we got increasingly more uncomfortable. He hit all 3 of us in the faces and the entire experience made us feel really weird. Other than that, everything else was great. The waiting area is super spacious and they have lots to do to keep you distracted and busy while you wait!“

“My favorite restaurant and little market in Vancouver! I love that they use real, whole and organic ingredients! (There’s no excessive cheap oil or processed fillers) And their pastries, cookies, cheesecake, chocolate, tarts, etc. are so delicious especially for being gluten-free and vegan! Even if you do eat meat, it’s worth a drop in to try them. Staff is always very nice, highly recommend.“

It’s literally a hole in the wall so you either had to takeaway or stand around a barrel Japanese sake bar styles. But super worth a visit. First time at Dharma Garden Veggie Deli🌱. I got the spicy #7. Flavourful and delicious, the proteins in the soup were plentiful, spiced delicately, and beautifully textured. I even stayed awake during my afternoon lecture.👍
(Vegetarians: We all know that we pay a bit more for cruelty free protein, but this spot hits right and feels good. You won't regret it!)

Where Khoe offers up amazing vegan Vietnamese rice noodle bowls, Doi has a variety of banh mis and baos - all vegan too of course.I ordered a sampling of banh mis and baos for me and my partner to enjoy: chick’n banh mi and bao, tofu banh mi, and shroom bao.Everything was fresh and tasty, and of the same great portions and quality I’ve come to expect from Khoe.I highly recommend everyone orders regularly from here, even your omni friends will enjoy it!My only “complaint”? I’d love to be able to order from both restaurants / menus at once so that I don’t have to pay double the Uber eats service and delivery fees. “We came for a good bye dinner with our team. Our company closed and Glowbal was selected by numerous recommendations from our other colleagues. It was an amazing atmosphere and definitely super-tasty food. When the time for dessert came, our beautiful waitresses came with our ordered sweet cake with “Happy Unemployment “ writing on the plate. “If Indian cuisine is your thing stop in at 6482 Victoria Drive Vancouver. Outstanding tastes and textures. A delightful family will prepare you food that you will leave you wanting to write a review. Their spiced "hot" dishes were outrageous last evening. My group is returning again tonight to enjoy some other dishes. The potions will fill you comfortably. You will leave well served, and thankful for your visit. The price point is so reasonable. If you are as fortunate as we were you will find a parking spot right in front of Nirvana!“

“The hostesses at the front are vibrant and charming. They offer a complimentary glass of champagne to sip while you’re waiting. If you don’t imbibe, they will accommodate your soft drink request. We were seated at a table on the patio which is very close to the street. So if you choose to sit on the patio, There will be city sounds which, apart from the occasional siren, quickly dissolves into the artful landscaping. Raven, our server, was friendly and cheerful, in addition to being appropriately attentive. We started with the mini steak French dips. Expertly seasoned and grilled, new york steak strips over a button of gruyere cheese atop a tiny slice of sourdough garlic bread with a side of au jus. These were quite more-ish. I recommend them. My husband enjoyed the Mediterranean salad and I liked my seared ahi tuna salad very much. The tuna is sliced thicker than carpaccio but thinner than sushi and gently seared. The plating was elegant and the salad finely chopped with bits of mango and shaved avocado on the top.. I tasted a bit of mint leaf and the light dressing was truly perfect. The staff pay attention to the guests and, when your server is busy, they make themselves available for your needs. It appears the staff members enjoy each other’s company as well as their jobs. I observed real teamwork throughout. We had the apple pie for dessert. On its own it is delicious with a caramel apple filling and it’s flaky , buttery and crunchy crus. It can easily be shared by three people and would have been enough. But do’gild the lily’ by adding the Canadian maple ice cream. We felt comfortable and satisfied. We were pleased with every bite and the Joey Burrard experience from start to finish. We will definitely go back and try some other offerings. Go and have fun. And talk to the very friendly staff who are so willing to engage.“

The entire experience was exceptional, and the food was perfect from start to finish.We had the red wine braised short rib of beef from Double R Ranch — it melted in my mouth and the flavor was out of this world. We started with the scallops and smoked bison tartare, both of which were outstanding.For other mains, we enjoyed the wood grilled lamb, the Hank tenderloin steak, the Wagyu beef picanha from Brant Lake Farm in Alberta, Blue Dot Beef in Prince Edward Island striploin (10 oz). They were all amazing. The Blue Dot had incredible flavor — juicy, tender, and hands down the best steak I’ve ever had. Every steak was beautifully cooked and packed with flavor.We finished the evening with trying ALL THE DESSERTS! The baked Alaska was beautiful and delicious! The ice cream trio was so creamy and rich. The creme brûlée was smooth and dreamy. The chocolate cake was moist and perfectly matched with the passionfruit sauce. The fam favorite was definitely the cheesecake… we were all wanting it! Perfect flavor not too sweet and very smooth. Blackberries were a perfect match.
