“I give the restaurant a solid four star BUT you better hit the 1 button, if you call in an order. I hit the 2 button as suggested! What a nightmare, you get a National Answering Service that doesn’t have a clue about the menu…put me on hold for 4 minutes, then tried to refer me to a different Outback…Nuts. I drove up to pickup area and placed order there! Thank goodness for the usual great service there?”

“Came here with a group of 4 on a Friday around 530. We were seated and attended to right away. The service was nice and the food was really good. We actually found that going alacart was cheaper then getting a combo on the menu. My mom shared a 1/2 pound of shrimp, 1/2 pound of green muscles, we added corn and sausage and like 2 ordered of garlic bread, plus we each had a margarita and our total was like 60 dollars as opposed to one combo with no drinks, and no garlic bread is like 60 dollars. Anyhow the flavors were so good we tried the butter garlic on the shrimp and the stinken sauce flavor on the muscles and everything was delicious! I recommend this place because it's also really close to (driving close that is) the long Beach exchange/ hanger for some walking around after you are nice and stuffed.”

“Definitely coming back. It's hard to find a spot that makes good sizzling rice soup. This place had a really good broth and the soup was nice and hot (not spicy). Some place will serve you a warm to lukewarm soup, or have a bland broth. This was good. The salt & pepper shrimp was amazing. The chow fun was really good. There are actual flavor in their chow fun noodles. We also ordered one more thing that tasted like orange chicken but the flavor was way better. Also, the sweetness of the chicken was not overwhelming or too sweet at all. It was perfect.

After we received our sizzling rice soup, we didn't get the rest of our order until much later. We can tell that they forgot our order. It was understandable since they received 7 huge to-go orders in between our order. I really wanted to give the place five stars for service but that it usually a deal breaker if the food was terrible. Luckily the flavor and aroma saved the meal experience.

Place is definitely old but I like the hole in the wall look. Not the cleanest looking spot but definitely doesn't bother me. I look forward to coming back and trying other menu items.”

“Hidden semi hole in the wall taco spot. Located in a large plaza with plenty of free self parking. The restaurant is clean and the staff is friendly. You can see them preparing all the ingredients as well as tacos cuesadillas, and burritos. There are a few indoor tables and seating. There's also a small salsa bar.
The menu is limited and straight forward. Basically choose the type of meat you prefer.
This is not fast food. It takes time to prepare fresh food made to order.
Tried the shrimp vampiros. It's kind of like a tostada so best to eat that first since the shell will fall apart if you eat your tacos or burritos first. It's very yummy!
Also tried the chicken taco. It was ok...nothing special about it.

Definitely get the free onion and jalapeno.

The salsa bar has your
typical tomatoes, onions, limes, etc. but it would've been nice if they had cilantro
There's also two containers with free beans so make sure to grab some.

Prices are a bit high for the tacos at $3.25. The vampiro is priced right at $4.15
Portions are a bit small but they make up for it with the free beans and salsa bar.

If you're in the area, it's worth a try. There are better Taco spots elsewhere, imo.”

“I wanted to try out this cafe since I was in the area. It's located in front of a busy intersection in a small plaza with free parking so it can be easy to miss if you're not actively searching for it. However, once you go inside, the interior is so cute, clean, and minimal!

I ordered the einspanner (whole milk) and a croffle. The drink was really good, not too sweet, and pretty strong! I wish I had more people with me to try other drinks since their menu looked great. The croffle was warmed up for me and came out the same time as they called for my drink which I thought was a nice touch. It was sweet and slightly sticky where small bits would be stuck to my teeth but overall delicious.”

The pad thai and panang curry are top tier. I recently tried the Bangkok sidewalk favorite (similar to gra pow at other restaurants) and it was 10/10.

“I have been coming to this place for a while. Fair price, but the food needs an upgrade, specially the california rolls. Small portions and very little wasabi and ginger.
They should have a policy for customers to bring earphones for those who want to be on their phone playing loud videos and for parents who have no control of their children and they have to use an iPad or a phone playing very loud videos to entertain the child. It is very annoying. It looks that there are lots of people with no common nor respect for each other.”

“We recently ordered two boba drinks from Bobuzz, including their signature “PMC” with boba and “The Dark White.” While the overall flavor of the drinks was comparable to other quality boba shops, the tapioca pearls (“boba”) were unfortunately undercooked, which detracted from the experience. Additionally, offering customers the option to customize the sweetness level would be a welcome improvement. While there is potential, the overall experience left us with mixed feelings. Personally, it wouldn’t be my first choice for a dessert stop after a pleasant meal, at least not for now.”

It is located inside the Lakewood Center Mall.The place is small and does a lot of to go and delivery. There are some nice places to sit and the mall area right out front as a lot of seating.We had shrimp tempura and rice which was great and some sushi. The sushi was good, not great. We will have something else next time. Their beef bento box was really good and their vegetables are steamed nicely and they are super tasty. “We really enjoy the Loft Hawaiian food. They closed the really big nice one in Torrance and now there are multiple small ones with simple decor. The food is still amazing but the atmosphere is a bit less than the big restaurant was. I recommend everything but my favorite dishes are. Lomi Salmon, spam musubi, island style fried chicken, lau law and of course the kalua pork. It seems like everything comes with rice and macaroni salad. 😋 so good. I don't think you can go wrong here everything is delicious.”

“I was there in California from another state. We ordered jalapeños beef burgers, halwa puri platters, beef seekh kabobs with rice platter, masala fries, mango lassi and sweet lassi. Each and every single food item was fresh and hot, seekh kabobs were so juicy and perfect flavor, cholay were soft and with some light gravy to eat with puri. Aalo were soft yet some small size chunks in plate with light gravy, and halwa that you just don’t want to stop eating. My kids are very picky eaters but they loved each and every single thing we ordered from this restaurant. Beef burger was so yummy that my daughter kept ordering the next time we went there again. We ended up going 3 times in our 1 week trip. We tried their fried chicken the third day, oh my gosh it’s just one of the best fried chicken ever. We were so glad that we were able to find a halal restaurant with all the choices at one place for our kids and adults. Last but not the least, their prices were very reasonable and the staff was very nice and friendly.”

“Burger and fries combination are good. I like the dressing on the burger they use. It’s hard to get help at these places these days so order something they make a lot of and your odds improve to be satisfied. Fries are thick and tasty. I also like the meat cooked on that open flame.”
