“Creative veg based menus, gourmet flavors- must try. As a person with food allergies, I have to thoroughly laud Planta Queen for their magnificent labeling. Every time I come here, I let them know about a coconut allergy, and they bring me a menu with items crossed off that I cannot have or circled that I can. This is So helpful. I can gratefully enjoy their absolutely one of a kind sushi selections fully confident that I won't be served anything I am allergic to. Planta Queen also does an excellent job with special occasion/holiday menus. We just happened to stop in on Mother's day and were treated to a special menu, once again made aware of what options we could have that were allergen safe. The dishes just kept coming out and they were all so delicious. My personal favorites, red dragon roll, and the cesar salad. But really, I'd eat any of their sushi all day long. It is so good! The one dessert I can have is a cookie, which is ok as far as giant chocolate chip cookies go. I'm not a fan of the rectangular chunks of salt that it is topped with, but maybe it can be ordered without.“

“Very good sushi place, where to enjoy some fresh and delicious temaki.
Everything is handrolled at the moment, and the tastes are really good and genuine.
I appreciated a lot the rice/fish ratio, as rice is not too prominent allowing you to test several options without feeling overwhelmed.
The tartare and uni (sea urchin) in particular are a must, very fresh and yummy.“

“I discovered this place online about a year ago and have been a repeat customer ever since. I've done a lot of exploring on their menu and have never been disappointed. Everything is fresh, flavorful & delicious. I'm no foodie, but I know these guys keep me coming back. AND their delivery packing is so freaking adorable!! It may sound silly, but the bag and boxes the food comes in is so well done and elevates the at home experience.

“Alexis was our omakase chef and he was amazing! The food itself was really great and fresh with unique toppings- specifically the king salmon, sweet shrimp, and otoro. Alexis was also super friendly and provided us with an extra piece of sushi (because it was our first time trying uno and I wasn’t the biggest fan) to make up for it! 10/10 on all fronts“

“We only cale here for my 15 year old sister. This review is based from her thoughts. SHE LOVED IT! She found out about this place and their push-up sushi from TikTok. She loved everything about it. The whole concept is interesting. The space is small, but well laid out. They also have sushi by the weight where you go and pick your sushi, as much as you want and pay by weight.“

“While staying at the Marriott Mag Mile (which is literally right across the street) we came here for a business dinner one weeknight. There were 5 in our party and we were quickly seated at our reservation time. Server and all service was great! Menu is amazing – Loaded with so many options from handhelds made with fresh, house-made bread to sushi to steaks… Such an eclectic menu and everything we tried was perfectly executed!

I’m not a fan of sushi, but I tried a few different rolls and loved them all… I loved one so much, I had several pieces of it! Their Chicago Dog is a must have! We actually got it sliced into a few pieces to share and that was the perfect amount to allow enjoyment of all the other items we ordered. And save room for dessert – They do an excellent job with that as well!

“Best Sushi Restaurant on the planet. Not only was all the food superior than any other Sushi restaurant I've been to. My family and I had a feast.(I mean all the food was good). Very reasonable prices as well. The most astonishing fact about this restaurant was the host (Quam) his amazing knowledge of food and customer service was unlike any other. The Ice cream desert was mind blowing. You don't have to take my word for it, but I guarantee you, you won't find another Sushi restaurant in the city of Chicago as good this one. My fiancé tried the pad thai with shrimp on one visit and the basil shrimp fried rice on another, and both dishes were full of flavor and so satisfying.
