“This restaurant is beautiful inside with chandeliers and nice tables and chairs I really enjoyed the fried calamari we had as a appetizer. The Lasagna is wonderful! “We've not been there since 2017 due to relocation but have nothing but fond memories of Dover Straits. When we bought our house in Grayslake in 1995, our realtor took us there to celebrate. We continued going, mainly for birthdays, anniversaries or impress out of towners, and were never disappointed. We have immediate access to super fresh seafood in Florida but miss the ambiance and supper club vibe Dover Straits provided. Loved that the owners always greeted us like we were worth a million bucks.”

“Ten years ago began my obsession with Frank’s corn nuggets. In high school, every time I had a dollar to spend, I’d head to Frank’s for an order of corn nuggets. Any time anyone asks me what my favorite food is, for the past ten years it has been Frank’s corn nuggets. Today, for the first time ever, I ordered corn nuggets and they were sold out! I told the owner about my long-held love of these fried treats and how I now live in Wisconsin but often travel to Mundelein specifically to have them. He says he has been trying to get the product in but unfortunately couldn’t get his hands on them lately. I sighed, and ordered a corn dog (closest corn substitute on the menu), onion rings, and sweet potato fries. All were great! At the end of my meal the owner surprises me with a small order of corn nuggets he had searched his supply for after I told him my story. Just great people and great times at Frank’s for the Memories as always! Frank’s holds a space in my heart forever and always and while they don’t have the corn nuggets today I will continue to return for the care and welcoming feel they always provide.

“This is my absolute favorite pizza place on the entire planet. Every possible Wednesday i order an 18inch double dough pizza for half off and feed 5 adult men for $25. Every day, they can serve you a huge slice for $6. This is the best value pizza I've ever had and it's the best quality takeout. I would eat here every day if not for the risk of heart disease and excessive caloric intake.

“We have live in the area for a while now and always meaning to stop in.
Saturday (5/30) my wife and I and another couple finally made it, just for drinks as we were coming for dinner.
Atmosphere and the crowd was great, everyone friendly and very welcoming.
The best part was the prices, each one of us had 3-5 drinks and the bill came to only $35, this has to be the most reasonably priced bar in the area, and we weren’t drinking draft beer, mixed drinks and the ladies had some wine.
Fantastic place, we will be back!”

“I recently went to Culver’s and had a really good experience overall. The food tasted fresh and better than most fast food places, especially the ButterBurger, which was juicy and flavorful. The fries were crispy, and everything came out hot. Their frozen custard was also a highlight—it’s super creamy and definitely stands out compared to regular ice cream. The service was friendly and the place was clean, which made it more enjoyable. It is a little more expensive than other fast food, but the quality makes it worth it.”

“It's a convenient place to dine when staying at the hotel. The menu is very limited and provides your basic food distributor options. The ladies who were bartenders my first week there were great. On my return trip, there was a gent behind the bar, and he was not remotely close to as friendly or prompt as the ladies (one was in training-1st night) .”

“Absolutely outstanding customer service. A Doordasher stole my order after picking it up from the restaurant and cancelled. The manager called DD on my behalf, reported the dasher, and resubmitted my order for me after I called to let the restaurant know what happened. The manager even called me back to let me know when the second dasher picked up my food.

This is the second time I've eaten here and I'm incredibly happy. The food is fantastic, the customer service is top notch, and I just really enjoyed my experience with them even through the DD difficulty.

“All of the ready made food is awesome! I travel about an hour just to come here. I have no idea what I buy is called because it is not written in English, but it is well worth pointing and saying I'll take two of those. They have pork covered in in mushrooms and cheese. There are rolls that are stuffed with spinach and cheese (I think?) , whole cooked fish, delicious desserts and so much more. You won't be disappointed. I always bring extra back to share with our friends.”
