From the friendly welcome, helpful hands getting the order to the car, to the FULL bellies and amazing food! This place did not disappoint. The wings, the fries, the Philly! All of it was amazing.”

We eat Korean food often and in many different cities. This place was pretty legit. Great authentic flavors.
The bugolgi was delicious, the dumplings were good and the Japchae (chapchae) was amazing.
Honestly the cost is great as a lot of Korean BBQ places overcharge but not here.
Highly recommend it.”

“This restaurant is beautiful inside with chandeliers and nice tables and chairs I really enjoyed the fried calamari we had as a appetizer. The Lasagna is wonderful! The cannolis are so delicious too! Antonio our server was outstanding and goes out of his way to make it a enjoyable experience. Thank you Salvatore for your kindness! I highly recommend them for a delicious dinner!”

“It's a decent auahi spot that seems like a stealth Korean place. The sushi burritos (gimbap) are great. The Korean chirashi (hwe dup bop) has a smoky, spicy sauce (gochujang). The veggie tempura was very mid though. And the tables had that cheap wax that immediately spots when your cold drink sits on the table. But the staff were nice. So it definitely seems like they could shake it out if they tried. I suspect if you know what you're doing and your order leans Korean you can get the best out of this place. Still a nice neighborhood sushi spot either way.”

“We've not been there since 2017 due to relocation but have nothing but fond memories of Dover Straits. When we bought our house in Grayslake in 1995, our realtor took us there to celebrate. We continued going, mainly for birthdays, anniversaries or impress out of towners, and were never disappointed. We have immediate access to super fresh seafood in Florida but miss the ambiance and supper club vibe Dover Straits provided. Loved that the owners always greeted us like we were worth a million bucks.”

“This is an amazing decades long family owned destination for the VERY BEST hot wings! The seating is comfortable inside and outside!
The wings are superb, meaty, fresh, cooked to perfection and sauced how wings are supposed to be. Great sauce choices and sides as well as other meal items.

I found this little gem in the late 80's and frequented for years.
I had moved away and hadn't been back in over 25 years.
It is like I never left, just as I remember.
I can't say enough good things about Frank's for the Memories!! It's a must try if you are ever in the area!!!”

“I stop here a couple times a week. I order whatever seasonal cold brew they have at that time, and I’ve noticed some inconsistency in the quality of the drink, entirely depending on who’s working that specific day.

Some days, it’s literally the best coffee I’ve ever had in my life. Other days, it tastes like coffee that sat in melted ice, then poured over more ice and handed out the window. For the price, consistency should be 🔒.

Otherwise, this place is amazing. Great staff, extremely quick and don’t have you sitting for 20 minutes like a Starbucks. I also enjoy the larger sizes most places don’t offer! Flavor concepts for the drinks are always great, too!

“It's a convenient place to dine when staying at the hotel. The menu is very limited and provides your basic food distributor options. The ladies who were bartenders my first week there were great. On my return trip, there was a gent behind the bar, and he was not remotely close to as friendly or prompt as the ladies (one was in training-1st night) .”

“Absolutely outstanding customer service. A Doordasher stole my order after picking it up from the restaurant and cancelled. The manager called DD on my behalf, reported the dasher, and resubmitted my order for me after I called to let the restaurant know what happened. The manager even called me back to let me know when the second dasher picked up my food.

This is the second time I've eaten here and I'm incredibly happy. The food is fantastic, the customer service is top notch, and I just really enjoyed my experience with them even through the DD difficulty.

I have no idea what I buy is called because it is not written in English, but it is well worth pointing and saying I'll take two of those. They have pork covered in in mushrooms and cheese. There are rolls that are stuffed with spinach and cheese (I think?) , whole cooked fish, delicious desserts and so much more. You won't be disappointed. I always bring extra back to share with our friends.”
