From the friendly welcome, helpful hands getting the order to the car, to the FULL bellies and amazing food! This place did not disappoint. The wings, the fries, the Philly! All of it was amazing.”

“When we went to this place, they were about to close but still took us in. The service was amazing, everyone was friendly and the food was soooooo good. We ordered the bulgogi and Japchae etc. And the Japchae was chef’s kiss. The bulgogi was served raw so you can put it on a stove and when it came out…IT WAS SO GOOD. “This restaurant is beautiful inside with chandeliers and nice tables and chairs I really enjoyed the fried calamari we had as a appetizer. The Lasagna is wonderful! The cannolis are so delicious too! Antonio our server was outstanding and goes out of his way to make it a enjoyable experience. Thank you Salvatore for your kindness! I highly recommend them for a delicious dinner!”

“We've not been there since 2017 due to relocation but have nothing but fond memories of Dover Straits. When we bought our house in Grayslake in 1995, our realtor took us there to celebrate. We continued going, mainly for birthdays, anniversaries or impress out of towners, and were never disappointed. We have immediate access to super fresh seafood in Florida but miss the ambiance and supper club vibe Dover Straits provided. Loved that the owners always greeted us like we were worth a million bucks.”

And I got my vanilla ice cream cone with the chocolate coating and it was absolutely delicious! the ice cream is always fresh and delicious and the employees are always so friendly. “It's a convenient place to dine when staying at the hotel. The menu is very limited and provides your basic food distributor options. The ladies who were bartenders my first week there were great. On my return trip, there was a gent behind the bar, and he was not remotely close to as friendly or prompt as the ladies (one was in training-1st night) .”

“All of the ready made food is awesome! I travel about an hour just to come here. I have no idea what I buy is called because it is not written in English, but it is well worth pointing and saying I'll take two of those. They have pork covered in in mushrooms and cheese. There are rolls that are stuffed with spinach and cheese (I think?) , whole cooked fish, delicious desserts and so much more. You won't be disappointed. I always bring extra back to share with our friends.”

“Absolutely outstanding customer service. A Doordasher stole my order after picking it up from the restaurant and cancelled. The manager called DD on my behalf, reported the dasher, and resubmitted my order for me after I called to let the restaurant know what happened. The manager even called me back to let me know when the second dasher picked up my food.

This is the second time I've eaten here and I'm incredibly happy. The food is fantastic, the customer service is top notch, and I just really enjoyed my experience with them even through the DD difficulty.
