From the friendly welcome, helpful hands getting the order to the car, to the FULL bellies and amazing food! This place did not disappoint. The wings, the fries, the Philly! All of it was amazing.”

We eat Korean food often and in many different cities. This place was pretty legit. Great authentic flavors.
The bugolgi was delicious, the dumplings were good and the Japchae (chapchae) was amazing.
Honestly the cost is great as a lot of Korean BBQ places overcharge but not here.
Highly recommend it.”

“This restaurant is beautiful inside with chandeliers and nice tables and chairs I really enjoyed the fried calamari we had as a appetizer. The Lasagna is wonderful! “I love this place so much. The take out is quick, fresh, reasonably priced and SO delicious! My last visit, the chef was literally the server at the same time, I did a walk-in takeout order for Sashimi and it was ready fresh in 10 mins. Tasted incredible. Pro tip: Sometimes their hours aren't accurate on here, I've found them to be actually open a few times when internet said closed, so always worth a phone call attempt first!”

“We've not been there since 2017 due to relocation but have nothing but fond memories of Dover Straits. When we bought our house in Grayslake in 1995, our realtor took us there to celebrate. We continued going, mainly for birthdays, anniversaries or impress out of towners, and were never disappointed. We have immediate access to super fresh seafood in Florida but miss the ambiance and supper club vibe Dover Straits provided. Loved that the owners always greeted us like we were worth a million bucks.”

“This is an amazing decades long family owned destination for the VERY BEST hot wings! The seating is comfortable inside and outside!
The wings are superb, meaty, fresh, cooked to perfection and sauced how wings are supposed to be. Great sauce choices and sides as well as other meal items.

I found this little gem in the late 80's and frequented for years.
I had moved away and hadn't been back in over 25 years.
It is like I never left, just as I remember.
I can't say enough good things about Frank's for the Memories!! It's a must try if you are ever in the area!!!”

“I stop here a couple times a week. I order whatever seasonal cold brew they have at that time, and I’ve noticed some inconsistency in the quality of the drink, entirely depending on who’s working that specific day.

Some days, it’s literally the best coffee I’ve ever had in my life. Other days, it tastes like coffee that sat in melted ice, then poured over more ice and handed out the window. For the price, consistency should be 🔒.

Otherwise, this place is amazing. Great staff, extremely quick and don’t have you sitting for 20 minutes like a Starbucks. I also enjoy the larger sizes most places don’t offer! Flavor concepts for the drinks are always great, too!

“You can never go wrong with Luke’s!!! Everything is exceptional. They have a large menu to pick from. Some would say a large menu is bad, but it’s not, it gives you the variety to “always find something good to eat”. And…variety is the spice of life!!!

I enjoyed the Italian Beef Meal with Mozzarella Cheese, unfortunately, they put the cheese on the bottom and you can’t see it, heavily dipped, fries, extra, extra crispy and a drink. There was enough Italian beef where I could’ve made a second sandwich.”

“The definition of reliable. The food is consistently good with each visit. In particular, the Singapore noodles, general Tso’s chicken, fried rice, and crab rangoons I came back to very frequently. The value on the dinner special makes Dragon Star a weekly routine for me.

Over many, many visits, Dragon Star has served me well and feels like a cornerstone of the Mundelein community. The gentleman who runs the register seems genuinely happy to greet me, and always treats visitors with utmost hospitality.

“All of the ready made food is awesome! I travel about an hour just to come here. I have no idea what I buy is called because it is not written in English, but it is well worth pointing and saying I'll take two of those. They have pork covered in in mushrooms and cheese. There are rolls that are stuffed with spinach and cheese (I think?) , whole cooked fish, delicious desserts and so much more. You won't be disappointed. I always bring extra back to share with our friends.”
