“Came here for my anniversary dinner and was blown away by Breeze (pun intended). Easily some of, if not the best Sichuan food we’ve ever had. I got the Winter Frost #2 cocktail and I wasn’t sure what type of flavor I was expecting but it didn’t taste like what I expected in a good way! The cocktail had a mildly sweet, light but depth in flavor profile.

The ginger sauce green beans were some of the best green beans I’ve ever tasted. The sauce they used was addicting. Second favorite item was the diced chicken with chili pepper, which was super spicy but absolutely delicious. But to be honest all of the dishes were home runs! I was just here last night and I’m already daydreaming about coming back to try more dishes.

Also the service was exceptional. The restaurant was full and there were only two guys to cover the front of the house (the hostess, waiter, bartender, and bus boy). They definitely had their hand fulls but still were efficient. Since it was our anniversary dinner they ended up surprising us with a pumpkin rice cake dessert on the house which we thought was the sweetest gesture. I couldn’t have been happier since I absolutely love rice cakes 😋“

“Antidote was such a great spot to have dinner on my visit to NYC. The wait was not too long considering there were 7 people in my party. We had so many items off the menu and the staff was very attentive to allergies and other food preferences. The tea smocked duck was incredible, the cucumber was amazing, the wontons were delicious! Everyone loved their dish it was absolutely a great dinner. The only downside was that some of the fish dishes were made with tilapia which is not a fish preference for most of the friends I was with. I will definitely be back and I highly recommend this restaurant“

“I was recommended this restaurant and took a chance on it as I was looking to diversify where I eat in Brooklyn. I ordered the chicken dumplings and fried rice with duck. Both were excellent and even for the lunch special, the portion of fried rice was too much for just one person. While the service wasn't particularly great, the food and prices were excellent.“

“This is not ordinary Chinese-restaurant food; the dishes are sophisticated and delicious. Great combinations, spices, vegetables. Okra crunchy outside, soft inside. Eggplant hot and peppery, cold chicken chopped with bones in. Never had Szechuan like this. We try to go as often as we can.“

“The tomato base noodles might be some of my favorite yet. I couldn’t even wait for it to cool a little before eating. “A nice elevated Chinese place in Greenpoint for when you don’t feel like going down to Chinatown. I think you get a good value for the atmosphere and quality of food you get, along with portions too. All hits for me.

The Mapo Tofu was super good. Not overkill spicy and very flavorful. I really liked it. $15, but of course you need rice so $17. My GF got the Chicken Soup which I thought was okay. I’ve had variants of this, and I think the broth had an meh flavor.

Overall, though, a great bang for your buck and I’ll be coming back!“

“Limited menu options helps the customer decide easier. However, the food here seems very americanized. Im not saying this is a good or a bad thing. If your looking for traditional Chinese food, this is not the place. But for western influenced trendy dining, then this is a good option in the neighborhood.“

“Come hungry because they give a decent amount of food! , known to have amazing food, We weren't too hungry since we had a late lunch, so we did end up with leftovers.Other tables by us also waited a long time, so it seems like the kitchen was just backed up.Overall, delicious food and a cool experience but I'd recommend setting some extra time apart for this since it took longer than expected.“

“Absolutely insane. Ambiance is killer, everything everywhere. Real calm sometimes..cozy! Extremely fast service. Extremely considerate service. So extremely affordable! Braised pork is perfect, lunch special comes with rice a lil greens and egg. I love the pumpkin potsticker, they got a Carribbean curry flavor! Housemate drinks are a dollar, and there's plenty of options.“

“I've ordered three times from this restaurant since arriving to Borough Park. Every time I order with them my food is quickly prepared and well made. This last visit, I went in while still recovering from being sick with a cold/flu. My order was Chicken Lo Mein with a side of Fried Rice. To my surprise, they were so wonderful and awesome to secretly include a bowl of chicken noodle soup. Just amazing!! It was exactly what my body needed and wanted. And again, everything in my order was well made and very tasty.“

“My wife and I have been looking for a good neighborhood Chinese restaurant. I think we've found it. This small, unpretentious spot has an excellent menu and delicious food. We started with hot and sour soup and pork and chive steamed dumplings. Both were very well done. Our favorite hot and sour soup is made by Beijing Restaurant in Montreal, but this is not far off -- spicy, strong vinegar flavor, thick with chicken and mushrooms. Our main course was steamed Chinese broccoli with garlic, and Wei's special chicken (pictured). All very well-prepared. Reasonable prices and pleasant service.“

“I really like this spot. The man with the glasses in the front is always super friendly. The food is the best Chinese in the area. I go out my way to come here. I like the coconut shrimp a lot. I get the three piece chicken, white rice and broccoli. Also I really enjoy the sweet and sour chicken and fried old bay shrimp. I really don’t think you can go wrong here. I ordered pretty much everything I can keep going, just come check it out for yourself.“

“My buddy took me here last week. He thought it would be too spicy for me but I love spicy food and this did not disappoint. I got the Noodle with Crispy Meat sauce for $9.95 and asked for it dry. It also comes with cilantro which compliments the dish very well. The meat and noodles are bursting with flavor and puts to shame the noodles I’m used to eating. Our server was polite and very pleased we were satisfied. I will come back.“

“What a nice place this is in the 86th Street section of Bay Parkway!

The food portion is just right for me to finish their Tomato Beef Brisket Noodle Soup with no problem. Their set meals as they advertised on the menu was pretty interesting. Basically, one of the sets comes with a noodle soup of your choice, an appetizer, and a drink. There are also other sets that are different.

I call ahead and it’s ready when I get there. It’s not rare that you’ll hear customers talk about how they’ve moved out of the neighborhood but go out of their way for this takeout. “Everytime I visit NYC’s 8th Avenue there’s going to be a day where my family and I will dine out at this place. It’s so delicious, my personal favorites are the Spicy Bullfrog and Beef Skewers. The servers are also always courteous and fast from our experience. We highly recommend this spot 👍.“

“Wow, immediate 5 star review & this is for takeout. Everything arrived perfectly packaged in a cute bag (I’m a sucker for branding). But once I opened everything, I realized the portions were pretty big - definitely enough for me to save 1/2 of everything for lunch tomorrow. Now getting into the flavors. Wow. The Mapo Tofu was sooo yummy, as were the string beans. For my main I got the Chicken with Chili Paste spicy level & it did not disappoint. I highly recommend this place. “This is my family’s favorite Chinese restaurant. They only buy from here and I understand why. The food is good and worth the price.(Not a place to sit and eat though) I’m vegetarian and they have General Tso’s tofu, which is very rare at Chinese restaurants, actually I’ve only seen it here. I usually get it with vegetable lo mein instead of rice but for 10 that is amazing and it comes with a lot of food. You can’t just trust any Chinese restaurant but here you can trust them.“

“This is my favorite spot in NYC. The A1 (Liang Pi Cold Skin Noodles), Cucumber Salad, and Stew Pork Burger, are my favorite but you can't really go wrong no matter what you get.

My only gripe is the gentrification of the music! They used to play old school rap and hip hop (with funny signs about how if you don't like it you can leave), and now it's weird girly pop and EDM. Every like 7 or 8 songs you're lucky if you hear some current rap but it's not the same. Bring it back!“

“This place is amazing. It is my #1 go to for Dim Sum. I've been to a lot of Dim Sum houses that were much bigger, had more comfortable seating & larger selections, but for me this place is a lot more welcoming. When you go to the counter to order, all their Dim Sum offerings are in labeled pictures. No more fumbling around trying to be understood by someone who is not fluent in English. All you do is point to the ones you want & they take them out of the steam cabinets. They have a good variety of dumplings such as har gow (shrimp dumplings), shumai (pork or shrimp dumplings with an open top), xiao long bao (broth-filled pork dumplings), and cha siu bao (barbecue pork buns). Other options include sticky rice in lotus leaf, steamed custard buns, rice noodle rolls, spring rolls, and chive dumplings. rib tips in black bean sauce, chicken feet, egg tarts & more. I also find that their prices are considerably lower than those of the large Dim Sum houses. Their regular coffee is 2nd to none. They also have a variety of teas, smoothies & sodas. A great place for a quick & tasty brunch.“

“The best chinese spot in all of nyc, i have been living here for 20 years and always ate here, i also work as a contractor so i in 20 years i ate at countless chinese takeout places but nothing comes close to yimin. After 20 years its still ran by the same family, i watched theyre daughters grow up and the adults making deliecious food. There was anotger spot who changed owner 3 times and closed across the street but not yimin they stood the test of time in nyc. I have now moved away to florida BUT everytime im in the city i do not leave unless i eat a chicken lomein and a singapore from here, but their whole menu is delicious. Theyre also super fast getting orders done in 5 minutes on avarage. If you havent tried it you need to asap, i actually refuse to eat any other chinese takout because i know ill be dissapointed anyway. Im back from florida now and ate a chicken lomein it was amazing just the right flavour and the wok hai was phenomenal.“

“Located inside Kings Plaza on the second floor, this is a good spot for some relatively inexpensive and okay chinese food/takeout. They have a self-service buffet in a overload-your-plate-one-time style. We ordered the kungpao chicken with rice, and stir fried noodles with a can of coke to share. They did not have diet coke, only regular. Portions were big for our appetites, we ended up bringing ⅔rds of the noodles back home with us.“
