“Loved the ambience in this great little find! Having traveled to Sichuan province, I can attest that the food really has authentic flavors (albeit kinder to the American palette). The Juju cocktail is outstanding. Would definitely come back to this place try other dishes.“

Fish was solid but a little too heavy on the batter to fish ratio. Eggplant was simple but good. The silken tofu was really solid texturally - might’ve been the standout dish for our meal.“

“This is a very local restaurant.
It doesn't have fancy decor, nor does it serve mind-blowing dishes with flavors you can't find anywhere else.
However, their food is very wholesome and down-to-earth, without the heavy oils or excessive salt used to aggressively hook a customer's palate.
The prices are also very affordable—I imagine people working nearby frequent this place often.
I'm a delivery truck driver, and whenever I pass through this area, I make sure to stop by.
The elderly owner is Taiwanese and extremely kind, and they also employ some Spanish staff. The overall work atmosphere is wonderful, and I'm certain the owner treats them very well. Dining here gives you a sense of peace that you just can't find anywhere else.
You shouldn't go out of your way just to eat here, but if you happen to be passing by, you definitely have to drop in and check it out.“

There was so many workers, ( someone opening the door/security, and then there was a worker on the main floor restocking/replenishing).. so many people, I guess everything was moving smooth. But to me, It was just feel a little chaotic, as to where to stand to wait for your order. There was deliveries, people using the kiosk, people in the shop ordering bake and shark having to pay for it first and then going and waiting for it. FOOD WAS GREAT!“

“My partner and I tried this place last Sunday and we loved it. We had the eggplant appetizer, the duck bao buns, the branzino and the lobster bisque udon. Everything was delicious, flavorful, and plated beautifully. I meant to take pictures but the food was so good I kept forgetting to until I was half way through the dish! We’ve also ordered takeout from here in the past and really liked the 3 pepper chicken and the Mongolian chicken.

The mural on the wall and the buzzing atmosphere, the great staff who were all super cool and lovely, the menu which is big enough to make you want to come back to eat the rest of it while easy to come up with a good order, the food is top drawer (and I used to live in Beijing guys) with great meat, fish, seafood, and a lot of vegetarian options and ways to quite a few of the dishes on the menu vegetarian.“

“We’ve been ordering from Lichee Nut for quite awhile. Mostly take out or delivery. In all cases the food has been so good that we’ve stopped ordering at any other restaurant in Brooklyn. The range of choices is especially good as I usually choose a vegetarian entree and others in our group order anywhere from beef or pork to fish or shellfish. Everything tastes fresh and not in the least greasy. In particular the BeanCurd Szechuan style with Brown Rice was and is great as was/is Beef and Brocolli,, General Tso’s Chicken. Many other dishes as well. The Restaurant has been there for almost 50 years and they still are curious and always try to please their customers. Shrimp and Vegetables, Garlic Chicken,, Hot and Sour soup and wonton Soup,, dumplings, Moo Shu, and so many other dishes… everything we order has been great. There is something for everyone. Delivery is very quick, I’m getting hungry while I’m writing this review!“

“I got the spicy beef dry pot, and pan fried dumplings with the skirt. Food tasted great and portion size is good. The Large spicy beef dry pot could feed 2-3 people which is pretty good for the price. It has a good mix of veggies, fried tofu skin, wood ear mushroom, enoki mushroom, garlic, cabbage, cauliflower, onions , peppers, and a good amount of beef. It is the perfect pair with a bowl of white rice. I'd definitely go back here again for it. I hope to try the duck vermicelli noodle soup that is the namesake of the restaurant.“

“I was served this afternoon (today around 4:30p.m.) by the sweetest woman. She was so kind, welcoming, and genuinely caring. You can tell she puts her heart into her work and it truly made my day.
The food was absolutely delicious! I ordered the Spicy Cumin Lamb Noodles, and I got the regular spicy version . It was so flavorful and incredibly satisfying. The portion was huge & I couldn’t even finish it!

“i know God is real b/c They let me live around the corner from this place. this place is such a staple in my life, being vegan and on a budget. it says vegetarian (they’re Buddhist) but there’s no dairy or eggs, so it’s fully vegan. prices are super affordable and they have a wide array of options (i only wish they had a bit more cause i go there so often!) don’t sleep on the curry rolls.
BUT!!! what makes this place SO GREAT is Yannee/Yen, the cashier - she is SUCH a star ⭐️ a sweet and spicy diva. she makes everyone smile and laugh, it’s impossible to be in a bad mood around her. she lifts our day even from a 30 second phone call! long live Yen 💛 Jai Zen 🪷“

Street parking is available. The broccoli was very fresh and tasty, the brown rice was a lil weird textured not sure if it was mixed with some quinoa or what but it wasn’t the brown rice I’m usually use to, lemon pepper shrimp was crispy but the flavor lacked, but babyyyy I think the best thing we had was the buffalo shrimp (not to hot, not to blend) just amount of heat ✅✅✅ I asked for fried hard chicken wings which I didn’t get, and my son shrimp lo mein wasn’t too bad the portions are both great and well worth the money. The toppings - 6/5 stars - Beef was slow cooked/braised such that the collagen started to break down. I thought I was gonna get the typical rubber-beef from casual togo spots but this was silky. Egg is a proper soft boiled egg, marinated. You can taste it. And the bok choy was crisp. Exceeded my expectations, respected each ingredient. Thank you chef.

Noodles, idk, not my type of noodle. Soup was good!

“It was only one other party there when I arrived so I was able to order relatively quickly. I ordered the Za Jiang Noodle and the Spicy Wonton in Red Chili. I loved the wontons. Those were my favorite. I asked the guy behind the register what was his favorite between the marinated fried chicken and the wontons. He mentioned the wontons. They were really flavorful and had a nice spice to it. The texture was good and everything I had tasted fresh. The noodles were separate from the toppings since I was having it to go. I did end up with leftovers and day two of the noodles kind of reminded me of a spaghetti with minced meat texture. the food was delicious.“

You’d think that’s a weird thing to say about xiao long bao but I was able to pick these up without the skin breaking and the soup spilling all over. “5 stars because it was very good for what I was looking for which was a sit down restaurant that serves American Chinese dishes

Egg roll was served hot and very crispy. It had some shredded meat in it, pork I think, which I was not expecting but thought was really good

The beef in the beef with broccoli was cooked well and of good quality. Broccoli and other veggie were crisp and fresh. The sauce was a bit on the sweet side for me but nothing a bit of soy sauce couldn't fix for my tastes

Service was good. Everything accurate and done in a more than reasonable amount of time

I will come back here to try other foods and I would recommend this place to friends“

“I've ordered three times from this restaurant since arriving to Borough Park. Every time I order with them my food is quickly prepared and well made. This last visit, I went in while still recovering from being sick with a cold/flu. My order was Chicken Lo Mein with a side of Fried Rice. To my surprise, they were so wonderful and awesome to secretly include a bowl of chicken noodle soup. Just amazing!! It was exactly what my body needed and wanted. And again, everything in my order was well made and very tasty.“

“Similar to the fast dumpling in Manhattan Chinatown (like North dumpling), this spot near Sunset Park’s Chinatown serves dumplings and scallion pancakes at very cheap prices with a few tables to eat at. No frills. The scallion pancakes were average but the vegetable dumplings were better than what I’ve had at other similar “cheap dumpling” spots. Definitely worth a try.“
