“Amazing, nuanced, fresh and delicious food every time. Can’t wait for the Brussels sprout salad to come back.”
“Celebrated my daughter’s birthday here and it was fantastic! The food was delicious and perfectly spicy just as requested. The Chicken lal pari was tender and well-marinated, and the Chicken Parda Biryani served in the traditional clay pot was a highlight—full of flavor and perfectly cooked. We also ordered Chicken Vindaloo and Red Chilli Special Mix Grill. All dishes were absolutely delicious. The presentation, with the floral garnishes and elegant table setting, added such a nice touch to the meal.
Special thanks to Anuj, Dominic, Harsh, and Fahim for their incredible hospitality. They truly went above and beyond to make our celebration extra special. Thank you so much. Highly recommend for any occasion!”

“We ordered for the first time tonight from Sammy, former proprietor of JuJu’s Bagels now transformed into El Toum. We ordered 4 items and they were ready for pickup in less than 25 minutes. The Mixed Kebab platter, Kofta Burger with fries, Falafel Sandwich with extra tahini sauce, and El Toum Appetizer were refreshingly homemade, tasted delicious, and proved outstanding bangs for the buck. More than enough food for a family of four with leftovers. This is a very welcome addition to a neighborhood missing this kind of fare. I highly recommend supporting this local business. Some of the best falafel and tabouli I’ve tasted in quite some time too!”

“I love this sushi place, best sushi in queens for such amazing quality and price. I love their salmon combo it’s the PERFECT amount of sushi, our top sushi spot for a Friday night in. Just please stop forgetting to throw the spicy mayo in the bag! (They did refund for it so it’s ok)”
““Absolutely delicious! The Yum Sam Krob was packed with flavor — crispy, spicy, tangy, and perfectly balanced. Every bite had amazing texture from the crispy pork skin, cashews, and fresh herbs.
The grilled liver and grilled gizzard were cooked perfectly — smoky, tender, and full of authentic Thai flavor. Paired with the spicy dipping sauce, it was seriously addictive.
One of the best Thai comfort meals I’ve had in NYC. Highly recommended!” 😋🔥”
“Came here for some authentic Bengali food. Loved the food here. Everyone was very hospitable. The food was very expensive for what you get. Pricing is a little ambiguous since there’s no upfront prices once you walk in and if you order the food on the display. We paid over a $100 for everything on the picture but taste was good.”
“Nossa que delícia! The buffet is full of fresh options with variety. Super healthy and flavorful food. They had mousse de Maracuja—my favorite!! The mandioca was nice and crispy. Just perfection. The farinha was delicious. Customer service was great and the place was so clean. I’ll be coming back to sit down soon. A hidden gem!! I feel like I’m back in Brazil!”

“Went to lima restaurant to celebrate my friend's birthday, the food was great & got to stay for the party, also a big shootout to our server that was great to us recommending the chefs specials and told us to stay for the party, Alexandra was her name she's totally friendly and nice to us all night 😎 definitely will be back again.”
“Very small Pizza Parlor with good pizza. They also have some other things on the menu. Their Tiramisu is extremely small, especially for $6. The service is good and the price for the Large Pie (8 slices) is reasonable. The place is good for pick up or for getting delivery. Too small for anything else”
“I had a beautiful lunch there today. The best part of the whole experience was the service. I was given the royal treatment. Carlos and John Paul, both spent so much time trying to help me choose the right option. So I could have a typical Uruguay and experience. They were both so kind friendly and helpful. Very grateful for their love and care.”
“Highly recomended ! There are no shortage of Taco trucks in Queens , day or night . What an absolute delight to find this food truck at 4Am of all times open , brightly lit , clean and having fast service. The selections are more expansive than most . The food was spot on . Authentic , fresh tasting , with generous portions , as far as Taquerias go this is the best I've had (ok, maybe a close second to the best Los Angeles CA has to offer). Delicious . Well done guys and thanks !
Kid-friendliness: Your on a busy street, watch your kiddies .
Parking: Hard to park in area during day but worth the walk from wherever you find it.”

“This food truck serves some of the heartiest momo on the streets of Jackson Heights. We got 8 thick and meaty beef momo for $8 at Amdo Kitchen. The go-to sauces here are the red sauce and white sauce. The halal momo are complimented with a thicker, chewier dough than other momos - it takes me three bites to finish each one. Amdo Momo is a favorite for those looking for an authentic taste of Tibetan cuisine. Don't forget to ask for the side of radish!”
“Me and my boyfriend went out to eat here. Lately we have been trying new foods they offer like this yummy rice with beans and chicken. Chicken pieces were nice and big I loved it! With some of my favorite banana. They look kinda burned but honestly I don’t mind because it taste better. Around $14 for this so it’s a steal. It filled us both up”
“This deli is great and has a various selection of snacks and sandwiches. Took one star off because it said the sausage egg and cheese was 5 dollars on the poster but it was actually 7 dollars. But also the guy at the counter was chill and let me pay even though i didnt have enough money. I love going here whenever i want a snack”
“Ive gone to colombian bakeries and so far, this place has the best pan de Bono I have tried! Its so soft and perfect amount of cheese. I will say the empanadas didnt taste as fresh. The chocolate was really tasty. The waitress was also really nice, along with the atmosphere!”
“It’s very good and surprising cheap for being next to a large subway station.
Parking: Roosevelt Avenue is one of the most busy roads nearby. Jackson Heights is a very busy neighborhood. Good luck if you need to find parking.
Kid-friendliness: The place is kid friendly.
Wheelchair accessibility: The place is wheelchair accessible.”
“I'm going to give my opinion based on the taste of the food as I only make the delivery.. Now the flavour is excellent and this is my starting point for Middle Eastern food and Americans. It's perfectly worth a try... The reason why I gave 5is because I ordered a small amount of food and I received a large portion.”
“excellent service the place and the amenity is very nice and the food is exquisite!”
Takeout Restaurants
“After watching a reel on Instagram, I decided to visit this place. The highlight of my experience was the auntie who always greets customers with a smile, showing kindness and taking great care of them. Their top dish is the Momo. I tried the chicken steamed Momo and chicken Chow Mein. The Momo was delicious, but while I enjoyed the Chow Mein, it didn't quite meet my expectations. The place has a great vibe.”
“We always come and get whole bag of Selroti when we visit NY. No other place makes sel like them. And if you have not had or know what Sel is it’s regarded as Nepali Dougnut but personally it’s something completely different. Chia and Sel combo is the best and this is the place to get.”
“Got there late for the breakfast, but had the bandeja tipica ,which is a big platter so enough for 2 or even 3 people . The arepas with cheese were great! And the maracuya water as always on point ! My sister had the milk maracuya and loved it. Chicken empanadas were a bit salty but the sauce helped.”
“Nice atmosphere and friendly service, My daughter and had a good time. Food was delicious 😋”
“The 1 lb headless shrimp I ordered are very fresh and huge in size. The price range is good. The staff are very nice, friendly and attentive. The restaurant is very clean. I really enjoyed my dine in experience. 👏❤️💚”

“This is one of my favorite places for a quick bite in the neighborhood. I got the fried oyster onigiri sandwich, and it was very delicious! The owner is such a warm, kind, and helpful person. There’s a sincerity here that feels so refreshing, unlike a lot of other businesses in the city where interactions can feel scripted or devoid of care. Honestly, it feels like going to my grandparents’ place to eat and spend some nice time. I’ll keep coming back!”
“Fusca House is easily one of the best spots in Jackson Heights. The food is always fresh, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. You can tell they actually care about quality — every bite hits. Portions are solid, prices are fair, and the taste never disappoints. The staff is friendly, the vibe is chill, and the food comes out fast. I’ve been here multiple times and it’s been consistent every single time, which is hard to find. If you’re in the area and want really good food, this place is a must.”
“We originally ordered this place for take out and ended up choosing to eat inside instead of what a great decision. Everything about this place is perfect, the food, the decor, the music. I love it when places have relaxing music in the background so you feel relaxed while eating not always turned up. Service is great and the food is so delicious. Highly recommend”
“Just had a serious Venezuelan feast at Empanadas Mix 🇻🇪 and I’m still recovering like a champ. 💪
Walked in hungry… walked out questioning my life choices (in the best way). The Pepito Mix sandwich loaded with beef and chicken was basically a heavyweight champion between two pieces of bread. Then came the arepas—thick fried cornmeal shells stuffed with carne asada, pork belly, sweet plantains, special sauce, and a mountain of shredded queso. That’s not a snack… that’s a strategy for survival. 😅
Washed it down with fresh passion fruit juice and a cold Maltín Polar like a true gentleman of culture.
Shoutout to my waitress Paola, who patiently guided me through the menu while I pointed at everything like a kid in a candy store. The place is small, cozy, full of Venezuelan music, and the staff are incredibly kind.
Moral of the story:
Came for empanadas… stayed for the Venezuelan flavor knockout. 🥊🔥
I’ll definitely be back. Hungry. Again.”
“Quick easy and good Tamales! My wife only likes Beef but these corn Tamales did the trick!

“I got the chicken wings, fried rice and steamed shrimp dumplings the first time and now that’s my go-to order. Service is not slow, but not super fast. But it’s worth it for the quality. I wish they gave me a little more duck sauce when I got my wings the second time I ordered from here, but in general, no complaints. A little pricey, but what isn’t? 5 stars.”
“Tried Food Junction for the first time and honestly the food was really good. Everything tasted fresh and you can tell they cook it on the spot instead of just reheating food. The shrimp was seasoned perfectly, the rice had a lot of flavor, and the fries were crispy too. The portions were good and the food came out hot and fresh.
What I liked most is that they have a little bit of everything. Pizza, burgers, platters, drinks, fries, and all kinds of food, so there’s something for everyone. Plus everything is halal which makes it even better. Definitely a spot worth trying if you want fresh food with good flavor and decent portions.”
“Love this small and cost bakery. I go almost every morning. Their hot and iced coffees are very good. One particular lady makes them well. I also get a buñuelo or a pan de bono. Both are delicious, fresh and warm. There are several Colombian bakeries near my job but all fall extremely short compared to La Montaña. This is the best one.”
“The best of the best avocado toast I’ve ever had in my life!! Looks like a huge portion, but salad is pretty light, the bread is not too hard as usually avocado toast is, and super easily to cut, the dressing is so tasty. Would love to be back when I travel to NYC again.”
“Coco is an amazing place, a beautiful small business that is very well organized. Everything is spotless and you can feel a great vibe as soon as you walk in. They offer a wide variety of bubble teas, and the taste is absolutely outstanding—you can tell each drink is crafted with care and attention to detail. The service is also excellent; the staff is very friendly and always helps you choose the best option based on your preferences. Definitely a place you’ll keep coming back to”
“Stopped here for lunch yesterday and had the most delicious breakfast burrito ever! Staff were so friendly and very attentive! 10/10 recommend!!”

“Amazing place and amazing people :) Was with a big group of friends looking for somewhere to celebrate after a friend’s wedding and this was the perfect spot! Hosts were super accommodating, kind, and fun! Drinks were fantastic as were the momos. Definitely a spot to come back to!”
“The bar setup appeared well thought out --you can tell the owners have put their heart and soul in making this place so vibrant. As tempting as the ambience is their menu. They have mastered the drinks at the bar while perfecting the dishes on the menu. Be it snacks or a full meal the chef works his magic --the taste took me back to Nepal. Service was outstanding! Will visit again.”
“Excellent service and consistently amazing food
Aama’s Kitchen continues to be one of my favorite places in town. The food is consistently outstanding—flavorful, authentic, and truly memorable every single time. I’ve visited many times, and the taste has never disappointed. The Thakali set is especially a must-try and highly recommended.
What really stood out during my recent visit was the professionalism of the staff. Special thanks to Meena, Samy, and Gaurav for their warm, respectful, and attentive service. They were genuinely humble and made us feel comfortable and well taken care of throughout our visit.
Compared to an earlier experience, the service now feels much more professional and welcoming, which made a big difference. It’s clear that the team understands customer comfort and hospitality very well.
I also noticed some negative reviews while writing this, which I personally find surprising. Given how popular this place is and how many regular customers it has—including myself—it’s no wonder Aama’s Kitchen is always busy. For anyone who enjoys great food and good service, this place speaks for itself.
Highly recommended!”
“This Place is Super amazing they have Top tier Crêpes I came out here after work me and some coworkers and we did
Not planned to have “crepes” but to be honest I ended up getting 3 delicious crepe w a some ice cream on top top tier I almost bite my finger how good it was “ No “exaggeration “ This a must try place !👍🏾✅💫”
“La Nueva Bakery is an amazing place. The bakery items are delicious, always fresh, and full of flavor. Their cakes are beautiful and well made — each one feels unique and carefully crafted. The service is excellent, with friendly and attentive staff that make you feel welcome from the moment you walk in. The space itself is cozy and inviting, perfect for enjoying a coffee and something sweet. I especially love coming here for their classic Colombian and Uruguayan bakery, which is hard to find and always so well done. Highly recommended — it’s definitely a place you’ll want to visit again.”
“Fantastic speakeasy sushi joint. Very small, no more than an handful of people may join the omasake style bar where 3 talented (and cool) chefs serve you the best crafted sushi you can get. Definitely going back soon.”
