“I really came fully prepared to hate on this place, most of all because C picked it, but also because it is hyped to death. Further hatred materialized when I waited in line for our reservation and felt like a schmuck.
Then I realized the line wasn't for people with reservations, I went inside, we were seated immediately, our waiter was fabulous, the food was fabulous, and the wine was fabulous. Everything was phenomenal and extra, extra good.“

“A great place to get a top-notch burger-Add avocado! Cocktails were great and it has a delightful atmosphere. Really great service concept-more than one person assists with the table-our waiter wasn't as chipper as the others but would def recommend! Host was fantastic!“

“We were celebrating a birthday with a group of six and the food was absolutely delicious! My personal favorites were the Soy Butter Bigoli, Mochi Bombolocini, Scallop, Rigatoni, and the Apple Pie. Most of the food was amazing. The service was fantastic – everyone was so attentive, helpful, and friendly. The atmosphere is super relaxed. I really loved the Umami in the Kenmare cocktail.“
“Had a wonderful dinner experience at Adda tonight. The food was exceptional. The chefs know what to do with the spices to create some of the best flavors in all of these dishes. The curry leaf crab is a must! All the dishes were great. But the one of the best bites we had was a simple yet so flavorful kulfi popsicle desert that was dipped in strawberry cream sauce. Also what was top of the line was the service. Our server Swayam was a delight. He was the kindest person with a great personality. He was very knowledgeable about all the items and was a great help with recommendations. Service was a 10 out of ten. It’s hard to get a reso here, but that means everyone is going here. This restaurant is a must.

“Some of the best hospitality I’ve experienced in New York. I checked in for my reservation and the waitress Dani noticed that I had lost my voice. She offered complimentary tea and ginger as soon as I sat down, so thoughtful and personal. The food and ambiance was also great, but the service is what sets this place apart.“

“This is hands-down one of the best Italian spots in New York City — and one I make sure to visit every time I’m here. Everything on the menu is creative, flavorful, and beautifully presented, but the Cacio e Pepe pasta is the real standout. The sauce is creamy and rich with just the right amount of black pepper!“

“Every time we take a trip into the city, we make sure to visit the Cookshop. Love the staff. So friendly and they make the best margaritas! Jiro (sorry if I’m misspelling) is a great bartender.“

“We were incredibly impressed at C as in Charlie. Every single dish we had was very good - 3 of them were exceptional. The mozzarella/green pepper with soy balsamic was insanely good, the ribs were melt in your mouth and the prawn roll delicious too. Service was excellent and the restaurant had a real buzz/warmth to it. Absolutely shouldn’t be missed. Surprisingly reasonably priced too.“

“Spicy Village was a wonderful place to have a Christmas meal! Actually, I'd like to rename it "Spicy Cozy Village" if a spicy environment can also be cozy! To start with, they were very gracious by accepting a reservation for 8 people at 6:00. Then they came outside and took our order even before we sat down and so the food was nearly ready by the time we had taken our coats off! The festivities kicked off with a plate of crispy peanuts, which ended up being the chosen appetizer, main course, and dessert for the little guy in our party. We then progressed to delicious dumplings, sesame chicken, spicy lamb huimei, and other delectable specialties! What was so amazing about the experience is that despite packing lots of people into a relatively small square foot area, it did not feel claustrophobic at all; rather it was comfortable and cozy, like sitting at a big table for a family meal at your house (even if it was take-out!!). Overall, Spicy Village was a terrific place for Christmas dinner - and I'm strongly considering coming back here for the 8 days of Hanukkah too!“

“Amor y Amargo is a tiny East Village bar that sticks to one lane — bitters, amari, and spirit-forward cocktails, and does it exceptionally well. The place isn’t trying to charm you with décor; it’s basically a compact room with shelves of bottles and bartenders who know exactly what they’re pouring.
The drink list is full of stirred, boozy options. If you like amaro, you’re in the right spot. Their cocktails lean herbal, bitter, and layered rather than sweet or flashy. Something like the Sharpie Mustache gives you that mix of rye, gin, and layered bitterness that hits hard but stays balanced. They rotate drinks often, but the style stays consistent: strong, clean, and built for people who actually enjoy tasting the base spirits.
The space is small, so expect to be close to other people or even standing. The bartenders are dialed in, focused, and efficient without putting on a show. You can ask questions and they’ll break things down for you without being pretentious. If you’re into bitter, complex cocktails and want a spot that doesn’t mess around, Amor y Amargo is a great move. It’s straightforward, specialized, and delivers exactly what it promises.“

“Made dinner reservations and we got an amazing family style table in this really amazing, rustic looking, happy vibes place! Noise levels were on the higher end and you had to speak loudly to hear the other person across the table!
José our server was friendly, attentive, and quick with his service. This is a very kid friendly place - so highly recommended for families with kids. At the same time, a great place for date night too.
An extremely well priced menu, with great options is how I'd describe their menu. Our order consisted of Crostini Misti ($10.50), Calamari ($18), Funghi di Prato ($12.50) - an excellent mushroom salad, for appetizers.
Mains included a very tasty (and slightly cheesy) Spinach Gnocchi ($18.50), Penne Arrabiata ($16), and Tagliatelle al Ragu ($18). Kids thoroughly enjoyed their butter pasta which they polished within a few mins!
Overall, we had a great time at this place, and I can clearly see Malatesta become our go-to Italian dinner place on weekdays or weekends. Great service, excellent quality food, and a very well priced menu! Can't ask for more.“

“I’ve never felt more at home in a restaurant than Deser B. And his team made me feel tonight. He was the most authenticly kind and hospitable person I’ve met in New York and needs to be promoted to running all of the stores the way he runs this one.
This was the most authentic Mexican taco in north America. Corn tortillas made in House for each order fresh. I tried all of the protein sources and every single one of them slapped. 20 out of 5 stars. I mean if you don’t go here while you are in town you are crazy.
The toppings and salsa were the best I’ve ever had. The tacos were ready in less than 1 min after I ordered. They are obsessed with being the best and it stands out“

“Lovely outdoor dining looking up to the hotel Argo. Food totally delicious, we shared four appetizers (we were four) and each had a main. Ravioli filled with carrot - really first class. Warm chocolate chip cookies for dessert - yum! Service was perfect, no rushing but super responsive.“

“The biryani was delicious! I ordered the dum biryani, and the portion was perfect for one person. The place is quite small and a bit cramped, and there’s no wash basin available, so you’ll need to use wet wipes. Despite that, the food and service were really good overall.“

“Great Italian food and a decent menu, not much choice but not too much. It's located next to Post Office 34 and is very trendy. The view and service are great, but it's noisy as there isn't much to absorb the sound. We ordered focaccia, roasted peppers and pasta. Everything is great and super fresh.“
