“I made a reservation here for a work dinner. The ambiance was super nice. Friendly, helpful service the whole time and amazing food. I think we got close to one of everything on the drink, appetizer and entree menus. My favorites were the rosemary margarita, shoestring fries, spicy sausage pizza, butternut squash ravioli, and the hangar steak. There was some kind of mint salad that was super good. I haven't ever tasted a salad like that before, so it was a cool experience. We did everything family style with a few people ordering pork chops or a cheeseburger for themselves. The total with all 8 of us getting multiple drinks and tons of apps + entrees shared between us plus tax and tip was $810, which is more than fair for how much we ate + drank and how good the food and service was. Will definitely come back or recommend to anyone looking for a location to host a work/birthday/celebratory dinner or date.“

The waitress was very nice and helpful with giving recommendations for dinner and I definitely do not know her but I think her name was Joanna pic related: this was my face after eating the burrito followed by a quinoa bowl“

I used to live on Grove, and back then it felt like more of a neighborhood secret. Now there’s almost always a crowd outside and someone trying to get the perfect corner table photo—but somehow it still feels real.

That’s hard to pull off.

I like it best at the bar. Cocktail, a few plates, nowhere to be. The room is busy and packed, but still somehow cozy instead of chaotic.

Zucchini fritti, tagliatelle, and a mezcal margarita - the zucchini fritti disappeared fast—light, crisp, salty, exactly what you want with a drink. The tagliatelle was simple in the best way. Perfect pasta, balanced flavors, nothing trying too hard.

“Spicy Village was a wonderful place to have a Christmas meal! Actually, I'd like to rename it "Spicy Cozy Village" if a spicy environment can also be cozy! To start with, they were very gracious by accepting a reservation for 8 people at 6:00. Then they came outside and took our order even before we sat down and so the food was nearly ready by the time we had taken our coats off! The festivities kicked off with a plate of crispy peanuts, which ended up being the chosen appetizer, main course, and dessert for the little guy in our party. We then progressed to delicious dumplings, sesame chicken, spicy lamb huimei, and other delectable specialties! What was so amazing about the experience is that despite packing lots of people into a relatively small square foot area, it did not feel claustrophobic at all; rather it was comfortable and cozy, like sitting at a big table for a family meal at your house (even if it was take-out!!). Overall, Spicy Village was a terrific place for Christmas dinner - and I'm strongly considering coming back here for the 8 days of Hanukkah too!“

We came from NC and after visiting Puerto Rico several times I was so excited for this experience! She was so patient with us! With only one other helper, she never showed any frustration and provided excellent above and beyond customer service! The cashier with her was brand new and super sweet as well! Camilla even gave me a hug when we left! She made my whole morning! And gave us the absolute best breakfast recommendation as well! Thank u so much Camilla for your grace and kindness this morning.
