“One of the best Indian restaurants in NYC and a big step up from the sister restaurant Semma. The food here is delicious, satisfying, with decent portions and excellent presentation. The food is great, and it’s a special experience. Staff are friendly, the service is great. The cocktails are presented very nicely, but nothing wowed us. I’m here for the food and the service - and I couldnt be happier with that!“
“La Tête d’Or is one of my absolute favorites in NY. It’s a beautiful restaurant, with a perfect French/old NY steakhouse look, feel, menu. The quality of the meats and ingredients is top notch, and the execution is perfect. Super interesting menu items such as sweetbread nuggets. Fantastic sides and incredible desserts. A wine program to match the excellence, and a courteous, efficient and friendly service. The utmost hospitality. With his ace team, Daniel Boulud brings to NY the best of French and NY old world steakhouse!“

“Every bit of hype is warranted. These are some of the best tacos I've ever had. The line was longish but moved quickly, and it was worth every minute of wait time. I wish I could have taken some on my 3 hour trip home. I'll be sure to come back every time I visit NYC.“

“After a cold and windy morning, not being able to get into one of the morning shows, we ran across this little restaurant by accident for brunch. They quickly welcomed us in with open arms and fresh hot coffee. It was one of the best brunches I've ever had, but what made it even more special was Joey the owner overheard our story, knowing we had a rough morning, and gifting us one of his comfort food cookbooks! The day couldn't have been any better. I can't wait to try one of his delicious Italian recipes this holiday season. I highly recommend the Little Owl. I certainly will be going back in the future!“

“A few years ago, I was hired to write a series of articles about regional Italian cuisine. Since then, I have been looking for traditional Italian gelato. Until yesterday, I have been consistently disappointed. But this? It was absolutely EVERYTHING I had dreamed about. The prices weren't ridiculous, the bathroom was PRISTINE, the staff were helpful and friendly and it was incredibly, amazingly delicious. My only complaint is that I live too far away from your stores to get it very often. But about that? My hips are less upset about the distance. :) I will definitely be back, though!“

“I made a reservation here for a work dinner. The ambiance was super nice. Friendly, helpful service the whole time and amazing food. I think we got close to one of everything on the drink, appetizer and entree menus. My favorites were the rosemary margarita, shoestring fries, spicy sausage pizza, butternut squash ravioli, and the hangar steak. There was some kind of mint salad that was super good. I haven't ever tasted a salad like that before, so it was a cool experience. We did everything family style with a few people ordering pork chops or a cheeseburger for themselves. The total with all 8 of us getting multiple drinks and tons of apps + entrees shared between us plus tax and tip was $810, which is more than fair for how much we ate + drank and how good the food and service was. Will definitely come back or recommend to anyone looking for a location to host a work/birthday/celebratory dinner or date.“

“Food was mad dope, got a chorizo burrito that made me see god. You will leave fed and happy. The waitress was very nice and helpful with giving recommendations for dinner and I definitely do not know her but I think her name was Joanna pic related: this was my face after eating the burrito followed by a quinoa bowl“

“Via Carota still feels like the West Village I remember.
I used to live on Grove, and back then it felt like more of a neighborhood secret. Now there’s almost always a crowd outside and someone trying to get the perfect corner table photo—but somehow it still feels real.
That’s hard to pull off.
I like it best at the bar. Cocktail, a few plates, nowhere to be. The room is busy and packed, but still somehow cozy instead of chaotic.
Zucchini fritti, tagliatelle, and a mezcal margarita - the zucchini fritti disappeared fast—light, crisp, salty, exactly what you want with a drink. The tagliatelle was simple in the best way. Perfect pasta, balanced flavors, nothing trying too hard.
Still a neighborhood favorite.“

“Spicy Village was a wonderful place to have a Christmas meal! Actually, I'd like to rename it "Spicy Cozy Village" if a spicy environment can also be cozy! To start with, they were very gracious by accepting a reservation for 8 people at 6:00. Then they came outside and took our order even before we sat down and so the food was nearly ready by the time we had taken our coats off! The festivities kicked off with a plate of crispy peanuts, which ended up being the chosen appetizer, main course, and dessert for the little guy in our party. We then progressed to delicious dumplings, sesame chicken, spicy lamb huimei, and other delectable specialties! What was so amazing about the experience is that despite packing lots of people into a relatively small square foot area, it did not feel claustrophobic at all; rather it was comfortable and cozy, like sitting at a big table for a family meal at your house (even if it was take-out!!). Overall, Spicy Village was a terrific place for Christmas dinner - and I'm strongly considering coming back here for the 8 days of Hanukkah too!“

“Went to the brand new Houston location and things are a bit rocky with staffing and supplies but I want to brag on your employee CAMILLA ! We came from NC and after visiting Puerto Rico several times I was so excited for this experience! She was so patient with us! Answered all our questions with a very helpful and cheerful attitude even tho she was drowning in drink orders! With only one other helper, she never showed any frustration and provided excellent above and beyond customer service! The cashier with her was brand new and super sweet as well! Camilla even gave me a hug when we left! She made my whole morning! And gave us the absolute best breakfast recommendation as well! Thank u so much Camilla for your grace and kindness this morning. U had no idea that my Morning started out so crappy, and your sweet personality and loving spirit really turned my day around and the tres leches latte was AMAZING 🙌🏼🩷💯 yall go see them and be patient …..it’s worth the wait ❤️ side note… the whole place is decorated beautifully! “Hey Yuet, don't make it bad
Take a sad Zhong and make him better
Remember that Har Gao’s good for your heart
You know that shrimp will make it better
Hey Yuet, don't be afraid
To make Lo Mai Gai with fresh chopped ginger
The minute you serve us crispy pork skin
Then you begin to make it better
And anytime you feel the strain, Hey Yuet, refrain
Don't carry bad reviews on your shoulders
For well you know that it's a fool who plays it cool
By serving Choy Sum when it’s colder
Hey Yuet, don't let me down
Don’t douse beef tripe with too much vinegar
Remember to fill up foods on your cart
Then you can start to make it better
So let ‘em out and let ‘em in, Hey Yuet, begin
You're waiting for tables to open
And don't you know that it's just you, Hey Yuet, you'll do
Cause our love for Dim Sum has awoken
Na na na, na na na na
na na na na
Hey Yuet“

“A must visit every time for me in New York! It’s my 4th visit and I love it every time. Excellent food and service, they were understanding when part of our party was late to the reservation due to travel delays and tried their best to accommodate. They even gave me tea and crackers while waiting for my friends! Gratuity is included in the price (like how they do it in Japan) which is surprisingly refreshing and touching for NYC. The value is unbeatable for omakase and definitely a must try if you like sushi and want to try an authentic and quality omakase experience without breaking the bank.“

“This place is great! Atmosphere is chill and cool but the staff is also really friendly. They know what they're doing and what they're talking about, and you can tell making the customers happy is their main priority. Food is stunning!! Some italian classics and some twists, amazing wines and for their prices it's 100% worth it. Love this place and I can't wait to return and wouldn't hesitate to recommend to anyone looking for somewhere to eat in NYC.“

“Great Italian food and a decent menu, not much choice but not too much. It's located next to Post Office 34 and is very trendy. The view and service are great, but it's noisy as there isn't much to absorb the sound. We ordered focaccia, roasted peppers and pasta. Everything is great and super fresh.“
