Fries were also good. We Also ordered a side of Scottish Bread with butter. Service was excellent as our water glasses kept being topped off.Decor was interesting with all the walls covered with Scottish memorabilia. A little pricy but you get what you pay.for. “Instagram ad turned into a great lunch. Options for sushi, sashimi and deliciously seasoned meats. Sides were on point with spicy kimchi coming out on top. Salmon sashimi was really good. Its great having an AYCE bbq place this good in Pickering not having to drive out to Toronto or Markham. Making this our go to from now on for Japanese BBQ.”

“I'm an absolute vegetarian guy. Govardhan thal is a 100% vegetarian restaurant run by a gujrati lady. It is an extremely satisfactory find for me. They have a buffet, a take out thali and other indian snacks.

I always choose take out thali, it is very reasonably priced for 10$ and gets me 4 fresh hot chapatis with ghee, option to choose two hot sabzi from four options, option for plain rice or pulao rice and one option to choose from three dal/currys including gujrati speciality. Also , there's an option to choose from sweets in the end. My favorite is hot gulab jamuns.

Overall really really satisfied, thank you so much for providing such good vegetarian food and letting eat the takeout at restaurant while food is hot. Must visit if you crave for homely food. May god bless aunty ji. Thanks 👍”
