“Today we made a pilgrimage to Basil Yu’s restaurant, Yagi Noodles. My son happened to see that Basil had become a successful restaurateur while he was watching one of Guy Fieri’s shows. We had become acquainted with Basil when we were all involved with a Boy Scout Troop in Manchester NH. We were disappointed to discover that Basil wasn’t at the restaurant, however we got over it when we found out it was due to a commitment to a fundraiser for the James Beard Foundation. Basil, You weren’t there, but your food is delicious. You get the Merit Badge! You weren’t there, but your staff is spectacular! You get the Merit Badge! We wish you continued success! The takeout lady could have been a tad more pleasant, but maybe that’s just me. Regardless, food was really good and we would come back on our next trip to RI.”

“We were in Newport 13 yrs ago and this is the restaurant that was the most memorable. Fast forward to this September of 2025 and Brick Alley Pub did not disappoint. “Very professional experience, we have been to Bouchard/ Chanterelle before and never disappointed. From entering the restaurant and being seated to leaving at the end of the evening. Chanterelle continues to add that little touch you don't see much of anymore. We were impressed with the food, the incredible service, and the ambiance. Max, our waiter, was great and very accommodating. I highly recommend trying Chanterelle.”

It’s a small hole in the wall place but with plenty of seating and Ben’s delivered some great hot dogs. I had 3 different dogs and they were all fantastic so if you like hot dogs I promise you’ll love Ben’s chili dogs and I suggest getting the chili dog with cheese as it’s fantastic!!!”

We have been here twice, the first time, the ladies were super nice and fast.

The second time I ordered through the app and had my husband pick up. I ordered a veggie six inch and put extra of all the veggies. Sometimes when I ask this and get the sandwich and get home it still isn’t a lot. This time, opening up my sandwich I was so amazed! Whoever made it did a great job and it was very clean as well. I just noticed on my receipt, whoever made it wrote “tried my best, lol” on my part of the order. I hope whoever wrote that and made my sandwich reads this so they can know that you did a great job! Thank you!”

“I've been coming to Bellevue Nutrition for a few years now, and it has easily come to be my favorite spot in Newport to fuel up in more ways than one. I come in often after a workout to get some delicious caffeine that makes me feel refreshed and energized, any one of Tracy's yummy and healthy shakes that leaves me feeling satisfied, and I also come for the good vibes. Tracy is a thoughtful host, generous with her knowledge and her uplifting energy and an equally wonderful person who I've grown to be good friends with. She's created a warm atmosphere and has attracted a special community here in Newport that I always look forward to returning to. You will always leave here feeling better than you came in. :)

Huge outdoor and indoor seating. The outdoors also has lawn seating with Adirondack chairs besides the 2 level patio/decks. Everything is new and modern, and the landscaping is immaculate. Huge parking lot, too.”

“Wow, a top New York City type restaurant in Newport. Forget the losers comments from years ago. Dress like you’re going first class. Atmosphere here is awesome…2nd floor is special. Drinks are reasonable and delicious. Our server PATRICK WAS AMAZING. They explain specials and drinks. Most attentive and all foods were perfectly presented. Wanna another drink, ask and within 2 minutes it’s there. We had wild mushrooms and salmon that were incredible as appetizers. Caesar salad was fresh and lettuce crisp. Scallops special had my wife shaking her head. My seafood linguine was overflowing with fresh seafood. The dessert of “Snowball from Hell” can be shared. Our 54th anniversary was unreal.
