“I stay at the hotel a lot and, as a result, eat at Adelaide often. It's a great restaurant with a diverse menu. But what really makes this place special is the service. Andrea is absolutely fantastic. Her service truly stood out and made me feel so welcome. She always went above and beyond, and honestly made me want to come back. In addition, the main bartender - Katie is also amazing. Always service with a smile at the bar, whether your eating or just having a drink.”

“I've been coming here for years and the people who run it are lovely. They have a garden and also often give out fresh veggies or flowers by the front.

Their yum neau is my favorite salad ever and their curries are delicious and hearty. Their lunch special is a great option too! Most of their entries are 2 servings for me, so I usually have the leftovers for lunch.

They make kombucha and often have it available.

It's a cozy intimate interior, and when the weather is good they have a great outdoor patio.”

The Playboy Roll, which is sort of my go to roll, I'm torn if they are number 1 or 2 when it comes to the place I like it the most. but we have enjoyed many other rolls their. but we also appreciate their wall of ramen which is great for my daughter who is trying to like more sushi, but isn't all the way there yet. it make it easy for her to still get a full dinner, but also try some sushi as well. The staff were gracious and very knowledgeable about the menu. I'll go every time I visit SLC from now on!”

The coffee is consistently excellent, the staff is friendly, and the atmosphere is perfect for relaxing or getting some work done. I ordered the avocado toast along with a honey lavender latte, and both were outstanding. The toast was fresh and flavorful, and the latte had just the right balance of sweetness without overpowering the espresso. If you're looking for a local coffee shop with great drinks, delicious food, and welcoming service, District Coffee Co. is definitely worth checking out.”

I had the citrus butter cast iron Alaskan halibut and a side of grilled cauliflower with garlic herb sauce, and a Beehive jack rabbit Gin Commander cocktail. My husband got the Wagyu hanger 8 0z steak, mashed potatoes, and The Espolon Tequila Hefe cocktail. For dessert we got the churros drizzled with raspberry sauce and a scoop of vanilla ice cream to share. Our waiter Kaden was excellent and on top of things, Jose was our busser and was very prompt, professional, and kind, and the chef was excellent and got our food out in a reasonable amount of time. “This place is AMAZING! Was in town for appointments at Primary Children’s and came here right after. My picky 12 year old was able to find multiple things he loved and the staff was friendly, patient, understanding, and helpful. We ordered cheese burgers either fries and a drink plus onion rings, a shake, and a hand scooped ice cream and it all cost us under $30! The burgers were juicy and delicious, the fries were perfectly done ( crispy but not hard or overdone with a delicious softer inside, not undercooked, and everything was served quickly, kindly, and deliciously. We didn’t have a long wait at all! I loved the atmosphere as did my son! Their shakes are SO THICK you have to eat it with a spoon then try a straw later after it settles / melts a little and it was SO GOOD! Easily the best shake I’ve had in years! Lastly, their fry sauce. I’ve been to a lot of places that serve fry sauce all over the state and this was THE BEST fry sauce I’ve ever had! Not too tangy but not too light on flavor. I loved that they included it for free as well! 100/10 for food and experience!”

“I absolutely love Cafe Shambala and highly recommend stopping by! Every time we host family or guests visiting, we bring them to eat here. Both the lunch buffet and the dinner menu are delicious. Our favorites are the spiced potatoes, the marinated chicken, the momos, and the traditional rice pudding dessert. My husband and I have never had less than a 5-star experience, especially with the excellent service. My only suggestion for improvement would be to more clearly post a drink menu during lunch, specifically for the refreshing mango lassi and other tasty drinks available. Last time I was there, the only posting of this information was a faded printer paper taped on the outside windows.”

“This is going to be a long review. When you first walk in you are met with a delicious aroma of fresh bread, and pastries. The staff beats you with such sincerity that you feel like your family. I had called to put in a large catering order Tuesday afternoon right before closing; Wednesday was a holiday and I needed it by Thursday morning. They had everything boxed up ready to go…. Only for me to realize the coolers I bought were not big enough for a box. They offered to repackage everything into smaller boxes. The smaller boxes worked perfectly. While I waited I ordered the Turkey, avocado, bacon sandwich. I can honestly say that was the best turkey avocado, bacon sandwich I have ever eaten. As I write this, I am thinking of how delicious that sandwich was and trying to convince myself that a 50 mile drive for a sandwich is a bit much. The turkey was a thicker cut, juicy, flavorful, and it had that Thanksgiving roasted flavor to it. The bacon Cooked perfectly, not too crisp so you don’t chip a tooth , and not underdone where it is chewy. The avocado was fresh, and it was ripened to the perfect stage. The sandwich also contained some lettuce, and a dressing, which was delicious. All of this delectable goodness placed on fresh bread. The bread had a perfect crunchy outer crust While the inside was soft. The bread itself had an amazing flavor to it with all the seeds and nuts in it made a perfect sandwich. I will write a follow up after the party tonight. It will include photos.”

There are lovely windows in the front that you can look out onto the Avenue. There is outdoor seating when the weather is warm. The service is fantastic! Cascade was our server. She is exceptional!! They are able to accommodate food allergies easily. The food is amazing!! It is so flavorful and cooked to perfection! The presentation is beautiful! We had the Pickled Beet Salad, Fish and Chips and Mountain Hamburger. Again, everything was cooked and presented with perfection!! I highly recommend this gem of a restaurant.”

“I just spent $18 on a breakfast burrito with eggs, cheese and bacon and diet coke at airport in Salt Lake City! I had to ask customer service rep to drain the bacon! Bacon was sitting in a metal container with grease! I don't understand why this is being allowed! not only is this hugely unsanitary, but also vary gross to see the Rep placing bacon into my burrito with grease dripping off. Additionally, the female at the cash register didn't greet me and she failed to give my order to the 2 males cooking. I think its common courtesy in any food service industry to greet customers. I won't be coming back and would really like a refund for my meal!”

“Went to the Nightmare Before Christmas Pop-Up Bar, which was downstairs, and we had to check our purses at the front. It was fabulously decorated and provided photo ops with the props. However, the dimmed lighting made it very hard to read the extravagant and themed menu. I needed to turn on my phone flashlight to read the menu. The cursive, thinned-lined ingredients of the drinks was the hardest to read. The Pumpkin King Sliders were delicious and were a great value! The Oogie Boogie drink was also very tasty and the presentation was spectacular. Plus, you get to keep the cup! I wasn't a fan of the Zero drink - it was very strong and I could only taste the tequila. Dr. Finklestein's Noodle and Kiss of the Deep were both very delicious and were generous portions, however the noodles could have used more seafood. I do not recommend the Aperol Spritz Pie. The texture and taste were off-putting. We didn't finish it. The service was great and accommodating. The couches were pretty far away from the tables, which made eating awkward because we both had to sit on the edge of the seat to reach. We asked for pillows and they were provided, but didn't seem to help much. Our table was accidentally cleared while we were taking photos, but we did get everything reset and were allowed extra time as the experience is for 90 minutes. Overall, we had a great experience, but the pie left a bad taste in our mouths right before leaving.”

Fries also excellent, huge portions and served faster than you would reasonably expect something of this quality.

Yeah really that good, had the Okie burger because I love an onion fried burger. But the menu has a few other innovative special burgers worth a look.

When in Salt Lake this is the ONE. High praise for a city that has a few really good ones, but in my opinion this one is the BEST.”

The train incorporated into the décor was such a unique and thoughtful touch, and the little serving robot was adorable—but honestly, the real stars were our servers.
