“The food was amazing! The salad bar has so many options that it alone will fill you up. The mashed potatoes were the best I’ve ever had. The meats were also perfectly cooked and bursting with flavor. The sweet and spicy chicken and the pineapple are my favorites!
The service was fast and efficient. Mateus was friendly and upbeat, checking on us frequently and always had a smile on his face.
The atmosphere is definitely a party atmosphere. It seemed like every table was having a birthday, which was a blast! I would highly recommend this location, and ask for Mateus!”

We ordered cocktails, which came quickly and were rather good but when we asked to order appetizers our server informed us that the kitchen preferred for appetizer and meal orders to placed at the same time, as a result our meal arrived seconds after finishing appetizers, leaving us feeling rushed. Our server didn't check to see if we wanted additional cocktails or wine with our dinner so we had to hunt him down. All of our previous experiences at Matteo have been lovely, nice relaxed interaction with the staff; cocktail, wine and food recommendations were always given; owners walking around greeting and interacting with patrons...we did not experience this last weekend.”

The Playboy Roll, which is sort of my go to roll, I'm torn if they are number 1 or 2 when it comes to the place I like it the most. but we have enjoyed many other rolls their. but we also appreciate their wall of ramen which is great for my daughter who is trying to like more sushi, but isn't all the way there yet. it make it easy for her to still get a full dinner, but also try some sushi as well. Any ways, if your looking for some good sushi, give Mr. Shabu a try.”

I had the citrus butter cast iron Alaskan halibut and a side of grilled cauliflower with garlic herb sauce, and a Beehive jack rabbit Gin Commander cocktail. My husband got the Wagyu hanger 8 0z steak, mashed potatoes, and The Espolon Tequila Hefe cocktail. For dessert we got the churros drizzled with raspberry sauce and a scoop of vanilla ice cream to share. Our waiter Kaden was excellent and on top of things, Jose was our busser and was very prompt, professional, and kind, and the chef was excellent and got our food out in a reasonable amount of time. “Ok this place is legit. We just got take out but we'll be going back and having brunch there for sure. My friend got the French toast meal. Straightforward regular French toast. No bells or whistles, just really good bread dipped on a really good custard base and pan fried. Scrambled eggs were perfect and the bacon looked amazing. The fact that she was almost euphoric while eating it says it all.
I got the corned beef hash. OMG. Best corned beef hash I've had in a long time. Chunks of homemade corned beef shredded among potatoes, Bell peppers, onions and mushrooms. And over easy eggs that even after a nearly 10 minute drive home still had runny yokes. The only way it could have been better would have been to eat there and indulge in some should beverages with our brunch. 10/10 will be making this a regular brunch location.

“I think that Ruth’s Chris steakhouse is my most favorite and most popular restaurant for me to go there and eat really good food from there and my favorite food from there was there chicken breast and mashed potatoes and lobster bisque soup and hot buttery rolls and chocolate cake for dessert and it was really good and delicious and I would totally eat it all again and touring the restaurant with the owner and meeting the staff was also a fun experience to also and if I were to rate the restaurant on a scale of one to ten I would definitely give it a solid ten out of ten rating from my time visiting the restaurant and I would totally recommend the restaurant to anyone who would like to go to the restaurant to eat there and enjoy the experience there !!”

It is located next to a local Target, so they have a great position to succeed with the flow of traffic and a large parking lot. I’m so glad they are 24 hours before Covid they closed at midnight or earlier it was a bummer it’s kind of nice when u can be open for customers so that they can get late night meals. So convenient that I will be coming here for years to come I won’t go to the one in my location they close way to early. This one is super chill nice and very friendly. “This place is the emoji of chef’s kiss ?. I landed in SLC and had a few hours to burn before I get into my day. Pulled up yelp and saw this place close to downtown (it’s a little outside but part of downtown - by the library) and thought should be fine. I was wrong, it was way better than fine.
The shop shared a kitchen with lady flour so the signage is a little confusing but it had a very old school vibe. Anybody who had been into an old school cafe or donut shop will remember the tables. The music and ambiance created a chill environment. A+

We had to wait to order drinks, we waited and waited to order food, and he had a really difficult time checking back to see if we needed more drinks. When the food arrived, the bartender had gotten our order wrong, but he was quick to correct it. The scallops, the fennel salad, the calamari, and the miso chicken were delicious. We did inquire about gluten-free options, but our bartender didn't seem to know what "gluten-free" was, and had nothing to suggest. It would be nice to have gluten-free indicated on the menu. (Also, the online menu was different from the in person menu. Not a big deal, but it should be updated.) Overall, we had a really nice experience and were very happy with our food and drink selections. We will be coming back with friends.”

I had called to put in a large catering order Tuesday afternoon right before closing; Wednesday was a holiday and I needed it by Thursday morning. They had everything boxed up ready to go…. Only for me to realize the coolers I bought were not big enough for a box. They offered to repackage everything into smaller boxes. The smaller boxes worked perfectly. While I waited I ordered the Turkey, avocado, bacon sandwich. I can honestly say that was the best turkey avocado, bacon sandwich I have ever eaten. As I write this, I am thinking of how delicious that sandwich was and trying to convince myself that a 50 mile drive for a sandwich is a bit much. The turkey was a thicker cut, juicy, flavorful, and it had that Thanksgiving roasted flavor to it. The bacon Cooked perfectly, not too crisp so you don’t chip a tooth , and not underdone where it is chewy. The avocado was fresh, and it was ripened to the perfect stage. The sandwich also contained some lettuce, and a dressing, which was delicious. All of this delectable goodness placed on fresh bread. The bread had a perfect crunchy outer crust While the inside was soft. The bread itself had an amazing flavor to it with all the seeds and nuts in it made a perfect sandwich. I will write a follow up after the party tonight. It will include photos.”
