“We went here on recommendation from a friend and were blown away! I could eat 3 of the Satay appetizers on my own, delicious. The Tom Yum soup is to DIE for whether you do chicken or tofu in it. The way it is served is also so interesting and cool. The number 37 Gang Massaman was unbelievable, and we will definitely order it when we go back. Side note: the mismatched dish ware and furniture 1000% add to the ambiance at this place.”

“Any food dish is great. I was enjoying the jalfreizi chicken and asked for a recommendation from the staff. Now I’m hooked on their kadai(?) Staff is very personable and friendly. Pawan, the general manager, is great to visit with while we’re there. Highly recommend this to those who like Indian/Nepalese cuisine or those willing to try new dishes.”

“my family and I really enjoy Mr. Shabu. We have mainly been for the sushi, and have really liked it. The Playboy Roll, which is sort of my go to roll, I'm torn if they are number 1 or 2 when it comes to the place I like it the most. but we have enjoyed many other rolls their. but we also appreciate their wall of ramen which is great for my daughter who is trying to like more sushi, but isn't all the way there yet. it make it easy for her to still get a full dinner, but also try some sushi as well. Any ways, if your looking for some good sushi, give Mr. Shabu a try.”

“Tonight my family went to Manoil’s. Wow. What a joy. I can’t recall what these dishes were called so beautifully on the menu—but I’ve tried my best in being simple in describing them. We ordered the risotto, orzo, lamb, octopus, olives, potatoes, and arugula salad. Every single thing was so freshly prepared, dressed, and cooked to invite delight. Thank you so much.”

I had the citrus butter cast iron Alaskan halibut and a side of grilled cauliflower with garlic herb sauce, and a Beehive jack rabbit Gin Commander cocktail. My husband got the Wagyu hanger 8 0z steak, mashed potatoes, and The Espolon Tequila Hefe cocktail. For dessert we got the churros drizzled with raspberry sauce and a scoop of vanilla ice cream to share. Our waiter Kaden was excellent and on top of things, Jose was our busser and was very prompt, professional, and kind, and the chef was excellent and got our food out in a reasonable amount of time. “Grand opening specials and delicious food keep us coming back twice in a week now. It is located next to a local Target, so they have a great position to succeed with the flow of traffic and a large parking lot. I hope these specials remain the same or similar, the food economy needs places like this! Food should be affordable and tasty. You guys do both, excellent job.”

“Robert and Sophia are absolutely amazing people. The sandwiches they make for me was superb. I had a turkey sandwich a few times and it’s just amazing. Sophia is on point and is very helpful. Robert has mad me sandwiches also and does a fantastic job. I’m so glad they are 24 hours before Covid they closed at midnight or earlier it was a bummer it’s kind of nice when u can be open for customers so that they can get late night meals. So convenient that I will be coming here for years to come I won’t go to the one in my location they close way to early. This one is super chill nice and very friendly. Definitely worth your time/money/calories.
It is a bit crowded with shelves of product and the ordering style is different than what I’m used to. However this is a non issue.
The sandwich was piled high with thinly sliced ham and cheese, loaded with fresh condiments and on fresh, delicious bread.
The atmosphere is lively and not too crowded or loud.
Sit on the counter facing the window .. and you will have a lovely view of the city.
Parking is a bit tough to find.”

The entire service staff could use more support from the organization. It is important for staff morale and may help reduce staff turnover.”

“The food was delicious! They come out with complimentary bread, which is so good. And then we ordered a 6oz filet and a 12oz New York strip. Both were delicious. Sides are an extra $21/each. We got asparagus and mac n cheese. They were really good but that price seemed crazy. The steaks don’t come with anything, so if you want any sort of sauce on your steak, you’ve got to pay extra. I didn’t get any sauce on my filet, but it didn’t need it because I like steak more rare, so the steak juice was enough for me. My husband was very glad he added on two sauces on his.

The music was loud, but we’ve been to two locations and that’s just kind of their thing.

What really stood out was the service. Wow, it was exceptional service! Our waiter Josh was amazing and gave great recommendations. You can tell this is a top notch service place. They pay close attention to details and are always making sure things are being run smoothly.”

I had called to put in a large catering order Tuesday afternoon right before closing; Wednesday was a holiday and I needed it by Thursday morning. They had everything boxed up ready to go…. Only for me to realize the coolers I bought were not big enough for a box. They offered to repackage everything into smaller boxes. The smaller boxes worked perfectly. While I waited I ordered the Turkey, avocado, bacon sandwich. I can honestly say that was the best turkey avocado, bacon sandwich I have ever eaten. As I write this, I am thinking of how delicious that sandwich was and trying to convince myself that a 50 mile drive for a sandwich is a bit much. The turkey was a thicker cut, juicy, flavorful, and it had that Thanksgiving roasted flavor to it. The bacon Cooked perfectly, not too crisp so you don’t chip a tooth , and not underdone where it is chewy. The avocado was fresh, and it was ripened to the perfect stage. The sandwich also contained some lettuce, and a dressing, which was delicious. All of this delectable goodness placed on fresh bread. The bread had a perfect crunchy outer crust While the inside was soft. The bread itself had an amazing flavor to it with all the seeds and nuts in it made a perfect sandwich. I will write a follow up after the party tonight. It will include photos.”

“VFW posts are well known for being very supportive of veterans and this post is no exception. They run an open bar, non-veterans are welcome, and you don’t need to be a BFW member to have a drink there. Drinks are very cheap, the bartenders are friendly and fast, you can run a tab with a credit card, and they have pretty good bands most weekends. This is not a fancy bar. I was there with some other vets and it was very friendly. I recommend it.”

“This restaurant is a gem!! It is nestled in the Avenues of SLC. The restaurant’s atmosphere is so charming- it’s in an old home that was converted to the restaurant. There are lovely windows in the front that you can look out onto the Avenue. There is outdoor seating when the weather is warm. The service is fantastic! Cascade was our server. She is exceptional!! They are able to accommodate food allergies easily. The food is amazing!! It is so flavorful and cooked to perfection! The presentation is beautiful! We had the Pickled Beet Salad, Fish and Chips and Mountain Hamburger. Again, everything was cooked and presented with perfection!! I highly recommend this gem of a restaurant.”

We got asparagus and mac n cheese. They were really good but that price seemed crazy. The steaks don’t come with anything, so if you want any sort of sauce on your steak, you’ve got to pay extra. I didn’t get any sauce on my filet, but it didn’t need it because I like steak more rare, so the steak juice was enough for me. My husband was very glad he added on two sauces on his.

The music was loud, but we’ve been to two locations and that’s just kind of their thing.

What really stood out was the service. Wow, it was exceptional service! Our waiter Josh was amazing and gave great recommendations. You can tell this is a top notch service place. They pay close attention to details and are always making sure things are being run smoothly.”

“Recently stopped in with some business partners for drinks after dinner. The atmosphere was immediately impressive. Everything from the front door, to the bar, down to the bathrooms in the basement. Every little detail was thought out, and it makes for an incredible atmosphere.

We only had drinks, but we were watching all the food come out around us and it all looked amazing. Everyone really seemed to be enjoying their food.

The drinks were pretty good. I got a whiskey sour, and while it wasn't bad, it wasn't nearly as impressive as I've had at other bars.

The live music was a nice touch and the girl singing the night we were in was very talented.

Service was pretty good. Our waiter was generally great, but we had lots of little issues that added up. Drinks got forgotten and not topped off, just basic stuff.

“I live right next-door this restaurant. I’ve been there once before and had their breakfast burrito, which was amazing! Decided to take my son here while he was visiting town and did not disappoint. I had the eggs Benedict Florentine, which means no meat and we shared the bacon. And he got the hamburger. Our meals were absolutely delicious! The restaurant was very, very busy, but the staff was very friendly and helpful. There was not any long waits between getting our food getting our check, etc.

The pancakes went by on a plate to another table and they look so yummy! I will definitely be coming back here again. I might try to go during the week because the weekend was very loud and busy. It didn’t interrupt our meal, but it was loud so just FYI.”

I really enjoyed the mussels, it was the first time I tried them with cappers and loved the flavor combination. For mains we went for the black linguine with salmon and the paccheri al forno. The paccheri portion was huge and delicious. I loved the fact that the food was served warmed and it was very comforting. I highly recommend and will be coming back.”

“Phenomenal experience and food for the price. We arrived for lunch around 12pm on a Saturday, were seated promptly and waited roughly 20 minutes for our food to arrive. We opted for the masala chicken dumplings (10pc) on a spice level of 5 out of 6 - and the chicken noodles plate.

The chicken noodles were a more moderate meal as far as spice and complexity went. The nice way of putting it is that it tasted more “basic”. Not necessarily a bad thing depending on your palate! The chicken itself in the meal was fantastic.

The real star of the show was the masala chicken dumplings. Incredibly tender filling sealed in an evenly moist dumpling wrap. The spice was not overbearing at all and warmed the belly. It was exactly what I was hoping for from this location.

I decided to wrap the meal up with a slice of the tiramisu cake. The cake was chilled and more on the firm/dense side of things. This worked really well for how the ladyfingers were layered in the cake to keep their texture. The coffee notes were balanced and brought a great palate cleanse to end the meal. Overall, a fantastic experience.

We will absolutely be back. I can see this being a staple location for my Nepalese / Indian cravings.”
