“Absolutely loved my experience at Ziggle K BBQ in Artesia! This place offers an authentic and traditional Korean barbecue experience that's perfect for anyone looking to enjoy a variety of delicious meats and classic Korean sides. The ambiance is spot-on—a cozy, traditional KBBQ setting with smokeless tabletop grills that let you cook your own meat. It really adds to the interactive dining experience!
We tried the garlic pork belly (so flavorful), brisket (a classic favorite), beef belly (it melted like butter), and the bulgogi (perfectly marinated and so tender). The corn cheese was incredibly creamy and paired perfectly with the savory meats. Plus, the banchan selection was fresh and yummy—everything was spot on!
The service was excellent, and the staff was attentive and friendly, ensuring that we had everything we needed throughout our meal. I also appreciated their lunch special ($22.99 on weekdays) and happy hour discounts on all alcohol and fountain drinks (20% off). It's an amazing deal for the quality and variety of food they offer!
If you’re looking for a delicious Korean BBQ spot, Ziggle K BBQ is the place to be. Highly recommend for anyone who loves Korean cuisine or wants to explore it in an authentic, welcoming environment!”

“The best taste ever. Real Koreans, go here.
It's so, so, so delicious, and I haven't been able to get my mouth full since I ate this place from Korea. I'm sure there's no such delicious malatang anywhere in the world, not even in mainland China. It's so delicious that I wonder if something was really done to the soup, and it's so addictive that I'll be eating it for a week. I think about it three times. Please, please drink it. Please.”
“We had to evacuate from Hollywood due to the wildfires and came here for dinner near our hotel and it absolutely delivered and put a smile on our faces. The Dan Dan Noodles were the BEST I’ve ever had, the spicy beef soup, the pork dumplings — everything is delicious! And CeCe, the beautiful owner, was so generous and boxed up some to go food “on the house”. Will definitely try the other Mians!”
“I heard this spot had amazing coffee, but opted for their matcha instead & it was excellent
I ordered the Ube Matcha Latte. It had the perfect flavor & temperature along with a unique drink art look(green base with a purple design. It was delicious & I wish I could have tried their croissant that had two cookies as bread.
Id definitely come back here again to try their other menu items.”
“I ordered crispy pata the other day and when I got home the crispy pata was over fried that even the bone is burned. Very overcooked so it is very disappointing!”
“The dining room atmosphere was really cool⚓️, the music was awesome, and the food was delicious 😋 We ordered the 2 lb cajun garlic shrimp bucket, a bowl of gumbo, garlic fries, and calamari. The bibs and gloves given to us for eating were perfect and necessary for the messy juicy shrimp.🍤 Everything was very tasty and not too spicy. Can’t wait to come back and try some other items on the menu. Thank you for the great service and amazing lunch.😇”

“We went for the first time today and boy was it delicious! I had the brisket bowl my husband had the 405 sandwich and we shared the brisket loaded fries, it was all delicious there was nothing left! Cudos to the person that is smoking the meats in Artesia location and the staff😊”
“Got the oolong milk tea and was pretty good with decent tea taste. Initially came for the black sesame matcha but that was seasonal and was off the menu. There were a few small tables and one long table with outlets. Overall good, decreased on star because a bit pricey for boba”
“Just absolutely the best pho in the area. Worth the drive. Overall 8.9/10. I order the large bowl with charbroiled meat. The condiments are always fresh. Today was a clean 9.2/10. Taste was fantastic. The broth was full of flavor. Just enough noodles and onions. Service is fast, location is mostly clean 8.9/10. Staff is friendly enough lol. Been going for 10 years.”

“I'm not a chiken person (food wise) but this chiken from daves chinken is definitely my only place for chiken, their flavor is like no other, I was invited trough an acquaintance, since then I've been coming back, every one that likes chicken should try Dave's chicken, no brainer!”
“The boba was delicious! We came towards closing and neither of our two drink were watered down! My boyfriend said that his brown sugar milk tea was perfect!! I got a lavender milk tea with rainbow jelly and it was delicious. I also liked that they had sweetness options and a very large menu with any flavor option/combination you would want! And the total for both drinks was only about 10 dollars.
Overall I had a great experience and will definitely be revisiting soon!
Kid-friendliness: A small space, but the shop is family owned!”
“We visited this restaurant with our family. The place is clean and the food extremely fresh. We tried the laghman, orange chicken, chicken fried rice, cumin lamb and chicken corn soup. Everything was good.”
“A must visit to this hidden gem. My first bite took me right across the Pacific Ocean to South Korea. Don’t be fooled by the old exterior and interior of the restaurant as each dish brings you truly authentic Korean flavours. The beef bulgogi is the best I have tried.
Regarding the poor customer service comments from other patrons, I can imagine this is due to the level of English that the owner and staff speaks. In fact, all I heard while dining is just Korean (including all other patrons). We managed to somehow communicate with each other but I can only imagine the language barrier is a sign of the authenticity of the dish itself.”

“best experience ever of my life🥰🥰 love the sweet little indians here and i loved the food 🤩😌and the service was GREAT!!! When i tasted the curry i almost busted a move!! 10/10 would come back here”
“Ugh. Didn't expect this much of culinary excellence from my neighborhood coffee shop. All three dishes I had there was very intentionally curated and well executed with fresh ingredients, and all of those being a hefty sharable portion was a lovely bonus. Fine dining quality with a family restaurant quantity, it really was.
Straciatella and peaches, in which they replaced peaches with apples during my visit, surprisingly was the highlight of the night. The cheese, tasted unbelievably fresh, combined with harmonious touches of oils and sauces was just delightful. I wonder if it the cheese was made in the house?
Then the potato situation. Crunch exterior, nicely mashed cheesy inside, loaded with Parmigiano and chives. My friend and I loved it. Anyone and everyone will. It came out in a massive size too! I would consider ordering it again next time for a sharable plate for 3-4 people.
Asparagus and sausage! I could've enjoyed this pasta even more if I had chose lighter starters for my taste buds. But regardless it was delicious. Extrememly savory flavor, a little gulilty level of creamy and salty, with guiltier finish of ground chicharrón on the top. I wish there was more asparagus, but I think that goes against the intention of the overall plate so ill keep that wish to myself.
I had no room left for desserts but I already know their cakes are top tier so im just planning out for next visit already...
Very refreshing to see this business taking this challenge of bringing fine dining experience in this area and want to applaude all of the staff. I hope more people recognize their effort of making this affordable and approchable.”
“Today at M’s kitchen, I went with the chef’s suggestion of “cold noodles” (which is the meat sauce noodle with soy bean paste, ask for cold noodles). The pronunciation sounds like Tsa Chang lian mein, and while my mandarin is terrible the food was thankfully not. The cold noodles, cucumbers, and pork sauce hit the spot in this warm California afternoon and i couldn’t be more satisfied with both the taste and my full stomach. 10/10 Would eat again. —Recommendations— For those who want a comforting dinning experience, Treat yourself to these delicious dishes: -general tso’s chicken -spicy diced chicken -green onion pancakes -braised string beans -house special beef -braised shrimp -cold meat sauce noodle with soy bean paste —Finger foods for your office/party— For those looking to feed your office finger foods ask for a party tray (I’d get the last 3 since they are more likely “known” by the people you are feeding): -spicy diced chicken -xiao long bao -pan fried dumplings -spring rolls -green onion pancakes When in doubt, do not be afraid to ask Monica the owner for suggestions. I’ve been coming here for the past 3 years and I have always left satisfied.”
“In my opinion the price is a tad high. No that is out of the way, great f-ing food and service. Food here tastes home made and you can tell they put effort into making your food and experience well worth it. Evelyn is a sweetheart and deserves all the tips you can provide. She isn't a full-time worker here so you will be lucky to have her as your waitress of you get her. If you are looking for more bang for your buck, the lunch specials seem to be available all day.”
“I haven’t tried their main dishes but their appetizers are so good! My fav is the pork ears, they’re truly the best in town. They cut their pork ears into super thin strips which made every bite covered in chili oil and easy to chew. This remains my top 1 pork ears in California even after I moved out of Cerritos. Soooo good!”

“Great food but does not have a dress code. Should not accept customers wearing undershirt. It’s gross n tacky. It diminishes the restaurant’s ambiance.”
“The food was tasty but there were some disappointments- we asked very clearly for very spicy and I made it clear that my wife is from Thailand and we are both accustomed to eating extremely spicy food. The food was not very spicy at all. I was disappointed by the lack of condiments and chutneys and also disappointed they brought so much bread at once and never offered fresh, so it was no longer warm and crispy by the time we finished. These are things I would overlook at a budget restaurant but this isn’t a budget restaurant. The food was good but I don’t think we’ll be back”

“The staff is super friendly! We asked a lot because it's our first time.
They have the $2 mini cup drink of the day! (Oolong with cloud top) (2 cups per purchase) SUPER CUTE! We requested to add the boba and adjusted the sweetness and also added ice later (today is super hot!)
Definitely going back!

“After a traumatizing experience in a nearby Dosa restaurant, we were very skeptical to try Bhimas Veg (for which we had a lot of recommendations from our friends) Tried yesterday, it was a breath of fresh air! AUTHENTIC REAL SAMBHAR!! We ordered Gobi Manchurian as a starter and tried Idli Sambhar, ghee masala dosa, gajar (carrot) halwa, madras tea and filter coffee. Each dish was 10/10. Our server Mr. Devi Karki was so professional, attentive and friendly. Each staff seemed to love their work and were attending to all their customers. Hands down the best Sambhar in the town!! Would definitely come back very often!!! And by the way Tirupathi Bhimas and Bhimas Indian Veg is the same restaurant!!
Vegetarian options: All menu is vegetarian.
Parking: It was good”
“BETWEEN THE REVIEWS w/ Rodney S
Q) So, Rodney, where did you go for lunch?
A) To Pak.
Q) 2pac?! The rapper?!
A) No, to Pak. I went to Pak Halal in Artesia.
Q) Oh, I see. Was this your first time visiting?
A) Yes, Rodney. A few Muslim gym buddies o' mine kept recommending Pak Halal, so of course I had to give the place a shot.
Q) What did you order?
A) Being my first time, I gave the Special Dishes display a thorough perusing.
Knowing I wanted a beef or mutton entree, after much thought & deliberation, I went all in on Pak Halal's Beef Nihari.
Q) Rodney, how was the Beef Nihari?
A) Spiced tender beef, swimming in flavorful broth. I enjoyed the Beef Nihari. I prefer a solid amount of fat to meat, and the Beef Nihari had just what I was looking for. Ample portions, with enough to fill up on. Speaking of filling up, the ginormous Garlic Naan provided a lot of garlicky carbs, made all the more better when soaking up with the Beef Nihari broth
Q) How was the service, and what are the seating arrangements?
A) Rodney, the service was good. The wait wasn't unreasonable. Being a small deli, there is a table or two inside & outside. Pak Halal is more an order ahead, grab n' go eatery. The railing outside Pak Halal acts as a standing communal table, in which I used to dine on my meal.
Q) Rodney, would you recommend Pak Halal?
A) Absolutely, Rodney! The food was great at Pak Halal, and when I'm in a hurry and not looking for a sit-down restaurant experience, I know I can head over to Pak Halal and order something to go, or enjoy a quick meal on the railing, before life's troubles beckon me, elsewhere”
“Great service and good food.
Thai is my favorite cuisine, but as we were not too hungry on a Sunday evening we decided to do something light instead of full meal. We ordered the veg Tom Yum soup which was a large dish and good for more than two people. Hence stayed with one starter each - egg rolls and chicken satay.
Will definitely be back here to try other dishes.”
“Popo?! Where? Oh, Tampopo. They're right over there!
Tampopo Restaurant has been a long term tenant at the Artesia City Plaza. I remember dining at the prior occupant (Sushi Samurai, I believe), many years ago. Originally planning to dine at Katsumura, only to find they're not open Mondays, Tampopo became Plan B for some sustenance.
Lunch Specials & 50% off Sushi everyday
Tampopo ramen & gyoza lunch special-
Priced at $14.95, the Tampopo ramen & gyoza lunch special was a good deal. The broth was thinner than what was expected, and the ramen wasn't al dente (more spaghetti-like) to my preference. However, the bowl of soup had an ample amount of food with three thick slabs of tender pork belly.
The gyoza provided a nice textural contrast to the ramen, and were pleasurable to eat.
Service was good. Seating was readily available and the wait was minimal for food. Parking is at the Artesia City Plaza, which can become quite difficult to find during peak hours. Tampopo is located in-between Bakers & Baristas & Sweetee Thai.
Not ramen quite comparable to a dedicated ramen shop, Tampopo's ramen & gyoza lunch special is still a bargain for a filling meal. Things are expensive now, so I find Tampopo's reasonable pricing & ample quantities and good choice when in search of a meal option in the area.”
“I came in on 12/27 around 2pm and there were 2 guys working ( Anthony and someone else I didn't catch his name tag)They were dealing with a crazy customer who was yelling at them, talking down at them over a small upcharge they didn't want to pay for. They took care of the rest of us in line while still handling her which I really appreciate. They didn't deserve that treatment and still kept a smile on their face. They kept a good attitude despite someone being rude and entitled!”
“Speaking as a Thai native, I can attest that the food here is remarkably authentic, and my top picks, Boat noodles soup and Crab fried rice, are absolutely mouthwatering. I mean every dish we ordered was consistently delicious, with perfectly sized portions, and the service was exceptional, making this restaurant highly recommendable.”
“Moobongri is a traditional authentic Korean restaurant specializing soondae ( blood sausage)!
We ordered:
- seafood pancake
- ox bone soup with glass noodle ( recommend )
-soondae soup ( recommend )
- spicy pork neck bone soup ( recommend )
- beef rib soup with glass noodle
I love how the soup also comes with rice, and some with glass noodle, very comforting food.
Parking: Small parking lot but you can also street park”
“We were trying to eat there for a while and we finally did. The place is clean and remodeled. Very comfortable and great forva family dinner. The service was very attentive and friendly. Shrimp fajitas wwere delicious and super hot. Our fafavorite besides Chile relleno and quesadilla. Lime margarita, aqua de horchata and Mexican sodas complimented all the food. We will come back for sure!!!”

“I love the service here get the coffee quick even when you mobile order to even quicker. My only issues with seven leaves where can I order no ice they leave a quarter of it the cup with no coffee and they told me that they have to charge me more to fill it all the way up I don't understand that.”
“Dien’s Ube cupcakes are just astounding! If you haven’t had them, you MUST! They are absolutely delicious and my Hawaiian family and I LOVED them! It’s not overly sweet and the amount of detail and attention paid to them really showed. We will definitely be ordering more in the very near future :)”
“I frequently visit Ambala Sweets in Pioneer Artesia, and I must say, it was an absolute delight! From the moment I walked in, the inviting aroma of freshly made sweets and snacks filled the air, instantly making my mouth water.
One of the standout features of my visit was their newly added ordering kiosk. This kiosk makes the ordering process incredibly easy and efficient. It removes the need to wait in line, allowing you to place your order quickly and conveniently. The user-friendly interface lets you browse through their extensive menu, view detailed descriptions of each item, and select your favorites with ease. Additionally, the kiosk accepts a variety of payment methods, making the entire process smooth and hassle-free.
The staff at Ambala Sweets were incredibly friendly and attentive, offering great recommendations and making sure I had a pleasant experience. I was particularly impressed by the cleanliness and organization of the shop.
Now, let's talk about the sweets! The selection here is fantastic, featuring a wide variety of traditional Indian sweets, each more tempting than the last. I tried the Gulab Jamun, Rasgulla, and Jalebi, and they were all perfect – not too sweet, and with just the right texture. The freshness and quality of the ingredients were evident in every bite.
In addition to the sweets, I also sampled some of their savory snacks. The Samosas were crispy and flavorful, and the Chaat was an explosion of taste with its tangy and spicy notes.
Overall, Ambala Sweets exceeded my expectations. The new ordering kiosk is a game-changer, making the entire process smooth and enjoyable by removing wait times and offering multiple payment options. It's a great place to satisfy your cravings for authentic Indian sweets and snacks. I highly recommend stopping by if you're in the area – you won't be disappointed!!”
“I ordered from the drive thru, I repeated my order and the lady repeated my order and when I got home, I was missing the extra 2 rice that I paid for! Drive wasn't just down the street so I didn't bother to go back but I did let them know about it! Didn't offer any compensation or anything!”
“Eunice! ??? All I can say is wow! Absolutely the sweetest person ever. I’m so happy to come back after a while that I haven’t been to this place. I’ve been here since the beginning when they used to close at 2pm. I love how cozy this place is & she made my sister and I feel so welcomed. The best customer service, the best atmosphere, & most importantly how warm she was even coming here around 10:30PM. This is a gem of a place to go to so whenever I have the chance to visit, we always try to. I’m so absolutely happy with Eunice & will love to see her here whenever I dine here. Ultra marbled steak & my bean sprout salad is my absolute fave! Thanks again for the hospitality! Appreciate you ?? ?? ???”

Cheap Eats
“I come here once a month to stock up on Indian food. The frozen curries are enough for 2 or 3 meals each with rice. the samosas are great and the lentil soup or dal is great for protein! I'll also buy a masala Dosa or idli's to eat with a mango lassie before going home. It's a great deal!”
“We’ve been eating here for about a year since we tried it for the first time. Everyone who has ever helped us has always been so nice and friendly! I’ve tried the birria ramen, birria tacos, asada tacos, chipotle pork tacos, asada nachos and asada fries. My favorite thing so far are the asada fries. I’m thinking of trying the chipotle chicken fries next time ☺️ 10/10 in my book!”
“Gangnam Kimbob has 20 different kinds of kimbob to choose from! They have tuna, pork cutlet, shrimp tempura kimbob and more
?? We ordered
- bimbim kimbob ( spicy mix with bulgogi & veggies )
- pork belly with veggies kimbob

It’s a fast - grab & go spot for some delicious kimbob take out :) price range is reasonable - around $10 for a pack of kimbob
Parking: It’s free parking lot but busy weekend- can street park”
“Really good food and nice decor. Unlike most Bangladeshi restaurants in southern california the ambience is clean and presentable. We went on a monday for brunch and had paratha with goat curry, Begun bhaji and mixed veggies. The goat curry was heavenly and the paratha was really good. The cooking style has a home cooked feel to it. Highly recommend it.”
“My mom and I have been coming here for years, and she swears this is the best thai milk tea spot. I agree, because every time I go somewhere else the flavor just isn’t the same! We usually always order our milk tea hot with boba and it’s so good. We love the wonderful service and great prices. Highly recommend!”
“We have been going to the seafood House for over 25 years. The food is excellent and the service is great. It's one of the best dimsum restaurants in Southern California.
Parking: We have always been able to find parking at different times of the day.
Kid-friendliness: We have been taking our grandkids for over 20 years, and we still take them today!”
“Hidden Gem, this place is HELLA slept on & needs more love. Food was great, Service was great and not rushed ?
Now for the atmosphere: Music was good, Vibes were cool. I would say the owners should give the Restaurant a mini makeover with the Walls and TVs / bathroom updated.
Besides that food is great here & in my opinion better then GEN kbbq ?”
“Testy food…very nice respectful staff..we enjoyed testy yummy food 🥘”
“Our first time to try this place ( Tuesday 1130 a.m.). First negative point was the narrow tight parking spots of the shopping center. You'd easily get a scratch/dent on your car . The next point .. the food prices are pricey ! ( about $ 6 to $7 bucks higher than other comparable eateries). However, to be fair, once we started eating our lomi n fresh lumpia.. it was a big wow.. it's a real sarap n the servings are huge. So it's still ok to eat here unless you don't mind the tight, narrow parking spots. Don't bring your Teslas, Mercedes n other elegant cars you may have esp on buffet days. The restroom doors by the way are supposed to be self closing n not prop opened per health regulations.”

“I live in Dallas, TX. Generally I love non-veg pickles, especially mutton/goat. My aunt visiting from LA bought mutton and chicken pickles from here and after tasting ‘em I have to say its the best taste with correct amount of spices and spiciness. Especially mutton pickle was my favourite. Its second day and the pickle jar is already half done. I highly recommend these pickles for others to try out. Will bring some stuff from here when I visit.”

Please.”
