“Anchored in the bay, all the way from Puget sound and a dinghy ride in for food. Walked around and quickly realized this was the busiest spot in town. Cold beverages outside made the wait alright. The "award winning" fish and chips were great! Calamari too. Great food, generous portions & good view of our boats. Staff was fun too. Cheers!”

Tbh we have spent upwards of 500+$ to go have tea at places like the fairmont in the city, and id still pick this place over that.”

“This is a Coffee House owned and operated by a local resident family. Yes, I’m a past employee from when the Granola’s opened. If you want to buy local or just traveling through HMB this is a great ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ (5 Star) place for a quick snack, meal, read a book or work remotely awhile. I highly recommend the breakfast cookie or a bagel breakfast sandwich! Yes, the pour over coffee is my fav. If you’ve not been here before…. What are you waiting for?”

“Food is good but the reviews need to be updated so badly. We stopped here thinking it'd be cheap only to find out the only menu photos are from 6 years ago and prices are dramatically raised now. Still got stuff just would've been nice to have been aware ahead of time... One star off for that only otherwise a great place imo”

We postponed twice because of the pandemic and in the course of that time changed our venue to San Benito House. Let me tell you, that was the BEST decision we ever made. Not only is the venue itself incredibly beautiful and the food so delicious, but Kai and his staff bent over backwards for us and all of our guests. Kai is the ultimate hype guy and he took what normally would have been a stressful event to plan, and made it so easy and fun. I would (and will) recommend that anyone who is wanting a Half Moon Bay wedding, that this is the ultimate place to go. Our guests are still talking about the day and if we could, we’d do it 1000 times over just to experience the magic again. Thank you, thank you, thank you! To Kai and the incredible staff, you are truly THE BEST.”

“We tried this restaurant for the 1st time last night. They definitely need another server, but our waitress hustled and was friendly and handle things with amazing speed. Big shout out to her. We tried about 6 different dishes and they came out hot! What an array of flavor and texture and reasonably priced. The singapore noodles were fantastic, the tofu was GREAT and I am not one for tofu. Honey walnut shrimp, green onion pancake and i cant remember the others. Too much to choose from. The atmosphere was so welcoming and friendly a great dinner spot if you are looking. Highly recommend!”

“I have been Jonesin for for a lobster roll. I ordered the lobster and cheese sandwich, thinking it would be a grilled cheese with a dash of lobster. Boy, was I wrong! It has a generous helping of lobster, the right amount of cheese and perfect on sourdough! This went well with a black and tan, along with some delicious cheesy tots! This is a really nice, friendly pub and I will be back!!”

“Hubby and I come here about once a year because we liked their clam chowder, the atmosphere, and the proximity to the beach. The service was excellent as always, friendly and engaged. I was there yesterday and was so excited for my cup of clam chowder, but I found it watery, and I think it was not the usual one they had. They might have changed the recipe or the cook. I did not like it at all; I will probably come back and try something else.”

“We had an amazing time! The waiter and wait staff were exceptional. The food was delicious! We had a guest/friend of ours for dinner and we tried many different dishes. All were superb. The bar area was a little noisy with a football game and the manager spoke to the fans that were sitting in the bar and the noise level decreased. Very thoughtful of him to do that and make our dining experience even better. Thank you so much! ”
