I highly recommend the breakfast cookie or a bagel breakfast sandwich! Yes, the pour over coffee is my fav. If you’ve not been here before…. What are you waiting for?”

“This shop offers exceptionally high quality gelato and waffle cones, both made from scratch onsite. The owner exudes divine pride in his product and service. They don't offer samples because the line would otherwise wrap around the block during peak hours. Instead, they'll immediately swap your entire cup if you aren't totally delighted.”

“Chu Toro was melt in your mouth. Spicy tuna roll absolutely delicious. Salmon hand roll was fresh and perfect. Salmon belly nigiri was buttery and bright. Servers and sushi chef all smiling and friendly. Very reasonably priced.”

A work colleague and I dropped in here for breakfast on a whim, and oh boy, I wish I knew of it sooner.
I'm from the UK, so as soon as I walked through the doors, the decor was fabulous and gave me that american diner feel.
The staff were super, and the food was out of this world. I HIGHLY recommend the lemon blueberry pancakes.. I dream of them. The breakfast egg sandwich was the best I've ever eaten, fresh ingredients made with love and care.

The restaurant was light, airy and super clean. The bathrooms were even decorated beautifully and had fresh boquets of flowers.

Every part of the experience was thought through by the owners. The bill even came in a winnie the pooh book! So cute!!! 1000% recommend a visit here, you will not be disappointed and if I am ever lucky y enough to be in tebatea again I certainly will be making a stop.”

We postponed twice because of the pandemic and in the course of that time changed our venue to San Benito House. Let me tell you, that was the BEST decision we ever made. Not only is the venue itself incredibly beautiful and the food so delicious, but Kai and his staff bent over backwards for us and all of our guests. Kai is the ultimate hype guy and he took what normally would have been a stressful event to plan, and made it so easy and fun. I would (and will) recommend that anyone who is wanting a Half Moon Bay wedding, that this is the ultimate place to go. Our guests are still talking about the day and if we could, we’d do it 1000 times over just to experience the magic again. Thank you, thank you, thank you! To Kai and the incredible staff, you are truly THE BEST.”

“Quite tasty. Stopped here on road trip down the coast from SF. Burrito (veggie) was enormous but it was so nice I finished it off. The little included salsa and chips bar (emphasis on salsa) went well with burrito. Daughter had a quesadilla that she liked.

I accidentally left behind my backpack with some very important things. We discovered it was missing 1.5 hours away and drive back. They found it for us (via telephone) and saved it for us. Cannot express how relieved we were to recover it.”

“It's a quaint little bar attached to the Oceano hotel lobby. Usually run by an employee or two. Not the kinda place you'd bring a crowd, but good for a small group or solo diners. The food is decent, not anything I'd go out the way to have though”

“I have been Jonesin for for a lobster roll. I ordered the lobster and cheese sandwich, thinking it would be a grilled cheese with a dash of lobster. Boy, was I wrong! It has a generous helping of lobster, the right amount of cheese and perfect on sourdough! This went well with a black and tan, along with some delicious cheesy tots! This is a really nice, friendly pub and I will be back!!”

“This is a well-established, great restaurant for Japanese sushi style food. The service was good, the food excellent and the location very convenient. Since it's not on the main street parking is easy.”

“As a vegetarian choosing a dinner meal I opted for the Roasted carrots salad and quinoa pilaf. Looks were deceiving because they didn’t seem like much, other than just some carrots with fresh greens and quinoa and mushrooms with grated parmesan on top. However, I was pleasantly surprised that both dishes were more than ordinary; very fresh and delicious. I’m also glad that I made the last minute decision to order the salad as well for some extra greens to accompany my dinner. Sometimes it’s challenging as a vegetarian eating out, but these were a great pair for a well rounded meal with whole fresh ingredients.

Also to note; the quinoa pilaf description said it had pine nuts and pesto. This dish was very heavy on the mushrooms and I did not taste any pesto nor come across any pine nuts. It was delicious though and I felt better about it not having pesto, as pesto has a very high fat content.”
