“The environment is great, the menu is very diverse, and seemingly commonplace dishes manage to be innovative in flavor”
“Amazing! The sushi tasting menu was exceptional and filling! Delicious and whimsical cocktails. Bar in the back, very hip and chic workout being pretentious. Wagyu beef skewers from the bar was one of the best things I’ve ever had. All the skewers were amazing and the fried chicken and other bar snacks are classic bar foods, but way elevated- can not wait for the rest of the space to open!”
“Brunch is amazing. Bottomless margaritas and the churros are excellent!”

“Walking past and dropped in for dinner. Great tasting food in a good serving size. Staff extremely friendly and quick. So good we came back the next night for more. Ww tried different dishes and again simply superb meals.”
“Excellent baked goods! We get stollen each Christmas, it’s a 30+ year tradition in our family. Several years ago, our favorite bakery we ordered our stollen from closed. Since then, we have tried various bakeries. Unfortunately, none have been as good…until now. Ravenhook Bakehouse stollen is the BEST we have had. It has outstanding texture and the amount of fruit is perfect. The figs were a nice surprise. Additionally, we also had the pecan bars, as well as iced Christmas and gingerbread men cookies They, too, were delicious. The pecan bars crust had the buttery goodness you want from a pecan bar, but weren’t greasy as some can be. The pecan filling was perfect. The gingerbread cookie had the amount of ginger you look for in this classic holiday treat. The iced Christmas cookies were classic in the best way.
We placed our Christmas treats order online and picked them up at the DuPont Circle Farmers Market - it was so easy. Additionally, Ravenhook has friendly customer service. I called with a few questions and the baker was extremely helpful.
We look forward to sampling more Ravenhook baked goods in 2025!”
“Every time I have been to Mixxed, the experience has been a 10/10! From the strong drinks to the tasty food, this is the place to go, not to mention the staff make this place even better!”
“If you want great food & excellent service this is the place to go to. The staff is very friendly. Flavourful juicy best tacos 🌮 ever had in the DMV area. Drinks 🍸 🔥 A MUST try spot 💛”
“We had an early dinner before attending a performance at the Ford’s Theater. We made reservations through Open Table and were immediately seated upon arrival. The service was great. Our server recommended several dishes that we loved. There were abundant vegan and vegetarian options. Chilorio de Res tacos were mouthwatering as were the Hongos en Milto ones. In fact, every dish we ordered was delicious. One dish (chilaquiles) never arrived from the kitchen but we were pressed for time so we opted to have it taken off our bill instead of waiting for them to prepare it separately. Dessert, Cafe de Olla, was phenomenal. Pics are only some of the items we tried. Great atmosphere for date night and a milestone birthday celebration. Highly recommend.”

“Restaurant Week lunch menu was excellent. Good variety and enough choices for the 3 course menu. Can’t go wrong with any options. Excellent service. Bar area is nice-wish the dining room decor was as interesting as the food. (Maybe that’s the point—the foods the thing!)”
“We went for the summer restaurant week. You get a cold and a hot appetizer, assortment of sushi and a dessert. We opted for the soft shell crab and shabu shabu ramen, both were delicious and served hot out of the kitchen. Sushi is top quality and decadent of course. Hojicha pudding is uniquely toasty and silky.
Not all RW deals are worth going, but I’d recommend the selection at sushi taro for the quality and the value of the food.”
“Agora DC made my husband’s surprise birthday dinner party one to remember! From the superior customer service and professionalism of their special events management team, including Tsednia Abay, to the Michelin Star-worthy food and service, no detail was left untouched. Thank you to your entire team!😍”
“Our son lives in the area and we have been here 4-5 since January ( every time we visit) The owners are wonderful and the staff very attentive The fish taco appetizer is wonderful ( can be enough for an entree if not wanted a big meal) I’ve had many of the entrees and never a bad meal . The chocolate dessert is my go to”

“Finding a Filipino restaurant isn’t easy. So learning about Purple Patch thru Jo Koy—has ended this search! Literally, Filipino cuisine heaven! The restaurant is uniquely decorated, the staff were friendly, & the food hit that major comfort button for us! Thank you Zahara for being so sweet & a wonderful waitress. We can’t wait to come back for more!”
“Incredible restaurant that puts elevated care, attention to detail, and quality ingredients front and center.
Unpretentious in austere but refined in the approach to your hospitality experience, this gem nestled in the heart of AdMo is a must-see for all hungry foodies in the area.
My experience with Imani and Amina will be the reason I return and tell my friends to go. Their storytelling, command of the menu, and easy approach to creating an elevated dining experience did not go unnoticed.
Meatball and porkchop were a hit in tenderness and flavor, while the cabbage and pudding were a hit in dynamics and design. Major shout out to Amina for bringing over the perfect wine pairing to complement our porkchop—on the house.
These moments create the fine dining experience and make the price point worthwhile.”

“There was a reason why I was anticipating to go to Dōgon... It was too good!
I was excited to finally snag a reservation for myself and my significant other. Reservations are highly recommended if you want to avoid a long wait. When we arrived for our reservation, we received a warm welcome and we were escorted to a lounge area as our table wasn't ready. The lounge was intimate, plus there was a cocktail menu. We were able to start off with drinks first. We were here for about 15-20 minutes before being seated.
Once we arrived to our table, our server was pleasant and knowledgeable of the entire menu in detail. We shared the cornbread, hoe crab and fried whitting sliders to start---chef's kiss. I then enjoyed the oxtail dish that came with a side of rice peas. This dish was so flavorful! Lastly, we finished off with the rum cake which had a perfect balance of sweet and savory. I loved my experience and can't wait to go back!”

“literally floored by the customer service. Went here last night needing a pickle pizza and good vibes sooo bad. Dante, Malachi and Jermaine were DOLLS. They were so helpful. I don’t wanna get them stuck in midnights shifts but those men bring the vibes at night. Can’t say enough good things about them. we had a ball.”
“Best subway I’ve been to hands-down. Always attentive employees, very quick service and good quality. They have to deal with a lot of losers not buying anything and causing issues or Karens complaining for no reason (on these other reviews) so hats off to them.”
“My Favorite Subway! Open 24 Hours and the staff is very friendly.
I live nearby and I’ve discovered that preordering your sub through their app works wonders! The subway app sometimes offers Buy One Get One deals, which basically brings back the $5 footlong!
I wrote my favorite order in a note, it’s for a DELUXE Tuna Sub:) this is what I include in my notes, and they perfect the sub every time ❤️
“Toast bread & cheese first. Please don’t microwave the tuna. 3 lines of light Mayo. 5 lines of sweet onion teriyaki. Cut into 4 pieces please”
Tbh the sub with extra meat can get a little dry, but the sweet onion teriyaki really gives it a kick.
P.S. The new dippers are kinda fire, the Baja chipotle dipping sauce is a dub
10/10 would highly recommend”
“It's very clean and spacious. Lots of tables and seats, excellent for family get together. Orders are prepared very fast, and people here are polite.
Parking: I love The crispy chicken. It's so tasty.
Kid-friendliness: Very friendly store in a nice neighborhood.
Wheelchair accessibility: It's flat. Easy to enter”
“I had an amazing experience hosting a large party at El Techo. The owner and team were great! As were the food, drinks, ambiance and service. 10/10, I would recommend this place to anyone”

“I’ve been twice and already can’t wait to come back. Each course is impeccable. I loved their beautiful Shucking Peas dish with kohlrabi and peanuts. I enjoyed being served by at least 5 chefs and servers and sitting at the counter was fun. This is the kind of vegetarian cuisine that wows me with every bite.”
“Nous avons passé une superbe soirée au Convivial. Merci à toute l’équipe et tout particulièrement au jeune serveur très gentil fan de dimitri Payet ainsi et surtout au chef toulonnais qui a régalé nos papilles en côtoyant l’excellence avec son poisson au pistou et les côtes d’agneau. Une petite famille du sud de la France, allez l’OM et le RC Toulon 😉.”
“INCREDIBLE! You will do a happy dance when you bite into that lobster roll and those hot hush puppies. Everyone was lovely, hilarious, and helpful. Kelly and Naya made this a wonderful eating experience. This is a bit of a hidden gem and worth your time and dollars.”

“Restaurant Review: Le Sel French Bistro Le Sel French Bistro near Logan Circle delivers a delightful mix of classic French cuisine with modern flair in a cozy, chic setting. The Escargots were indulgent, with garlic Pernod butter enhancing their tender richness, while the Onion Soup transported me to Paris with its flavorful broth and golden, cheesy crust. The Steak au Poivre & Frites was a standout, perfectly cooked with bold black pepper jus, creamy Béarnaise, and crispy frites. Each dish balances tradition and creativity, making for a memorable dining experience. For an authentic taste of France in DC, Le Sel is a must-visit. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ #LeSelFrenchBistro #FrenchCuisine #LoganCircleEats #DCFoodies #FineDining #FoodieFavorites”
“5 stars isn't enough!! From the moment we walked in until the end of our night we were satisfied. The decorations, food, and service was amazing! They even offered me a quiet place to pray :). Give this place a try-trust me (portions may seem small, but it was very filling- we ordered the bowl of fries, which came with a delicious sauce, CROQUETTES, fish burger, beef burger, and gnocchi pomodoro. It felt like we were in nyc enjoy :)”
“Every time I’ve been to Albi, we have reserved the Chef’s Table—and it’s absolutely worth every penny. The team goes above and beyond to accommodate dietary restrictions, making sure every guest has the best possible experience. The food is consistently amazing, thoughtfully prepared, and presented beautifully. By the end of the meal, I was so full and completely satisfied. Truly a special dining experience that I’d recommend to anyone looking for something unique and memorable.”
“It was the perfect meal, from appetizers to main course, and dessert! Our server, Ricardo, was very attentive and informative about the menu and gave us personal recommendations, as well. I had been wanting to dine at Cucina Morini for a while now, and I am so glad I chose it for our friends visiting from overseas.”
“my 11 yo daughter went here for a business trip with her grandma and they went here for brunch. she ordered a brunch burger and said it was the best burger of her life. it was so good that she had to call them all the way from IL to ask how they made it!!”
“Fun night for two out of towners! Food was amazing and the staff were incredibly friendly, even though we’re two or three times their ages and not cool at all! ;)”

“We splurged and did the full 12 course tasting experience with the chef's cellar wine pairing and it did not disappoint! When you spend that much you want to be blown away and Mita delivered with one of the best meals of our lives! No exaggeration. There wasn't a wrong note the entire evening, and it was a 3 hour experience. I've been to several high end and Michelin starred places over the years and there were multiple times at Mita, with both food and wine, I thought "I've never tasted anything like that before." Save up and go!”
“The Saga is a great experience from start to finish. When you walk in, the space is beautiful, light-filled, and spacious. You're greeted, seated quickly, and the entire team works together to help ensure you and your party are having a great time. We ordered the tapas tour, which was a whirlwind of delicious and inventive small plates. Some of our favorites were the fried calamari, the Spanish sausage, the bacon-wrapped blue cheese-stuffed dates, and the spicy olive oil marinated shrimp. Incredible!! For dessert, we couldn't resist a small cheese plate and the tropical-flavored dessert. We also got some mango sorbet to top it all off. The only comment I'd make about the tapas tour experience is that I wished the tapas came out at a more paced speed, so that we could savor each dish more individually. But really, I also could have asked for that and I think the team would have accommodated the request! What an amazing time, thank you so much to everyone on the team!”
“I will say that this place is a MUST visit! I was thoroughly impressed by the ambiance, the service and most importantly the food! Every bite was delicious and left me wanting more. We had the four course menu and it was enough food that everyone in our party felt satisfied and even a bit full. The service was great too! They brought out each course promptly and we enjoyed the attentiveness and attention to detail. Indian food has never tasted so delicious! I hope to return again soon!”
“Delicious and great vibe. Did the fixed menu, which was the perfect choice. You get a little bit of everything and the flavors are exceptional. If I went again I would probably go a la carte just to try something different. Drinks were also really good! Quiet enough where you can have a great date night. Service was exceptional.”
“Dining in DC, is paying for ambiance. Pascual was a wonderful ambiance in learning the finer elements of Mexican cuisine.
NO SALSA IN CHIPS
Guacamole was tasty but it wasn't until I built the perfect bite with the braised lamb neck did I appreciate the understatement of its balance. My friend very much enjoyed her Octopus, she got crispy she'll to accompany her dish.
The bunuelo was a nice finish, but there was the option of flan w/chocolate. The flan was good but had bitters from dark chocolate that gave the taste of espresso.
I would not dine here again personally, but it makes for a really nice backdrop of a lovely dinner.
Vegetarian options: Seafood allergy, a lot of possible cross contamination, limits your choices. However the choices are still very delicious.”
“Bottom line up front, Cranes is a MUST for DC’s Winter Restaurant Week! From the hostess's accommodation of our late arrival, friendly greeting, and front door coat check to our waiter’s, Elmer, and wait staff’s attentive service throughout our visit, Cranes was superb! The Faux-jito, Squash Hummus, Ramen, and Iberico Pork Fried Rice were fantastic! When there was a problem with our bill, it was quickly resolved. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Highly recommend!!!”
“Booked here because of the Michelin star rating but will go back for the service. After a bit of bumpy start, the Manager was quite accommodating and what an excellence recovery. Enjoyed the premium omakase, sake and whiskey. Never felt rushed even though the restaurant filled quickly. We were visiting from Texas but will make this a regular stop next time in town.”
“Went to Kitchen +Kocktails for the first time last night. The decor was very nice, and the music was good and not obnoxious. Our server Ally was terrific! I’m not a drinker, so when I asked her if there were any cocktails that didn’t taste like alcohol, I thought she would look at me like I was crazy, but she didn’t! She seemed to know exactly what I was talking about and immediately had a couple of suggestions. I went with the mixed berry lemon drop and it was perfect for me. The crab cake appetizers and shrimp and grits with lobster tail entree were amazing. We had a great time and we’ll be back!”
“Superlative tasting menu, top notch wine parings, outstanding service, from a staff that outnumbers the clientele, what’s not to like? Yes it’s small, so leave the soccer team meetup for the pizza place. For Lutece, bring your favorite couple or 1 or 2 very special friends”
“Lamb chops steak is delicious! The fried potatoes were delicious! Brusselsprouts with fruit jam sweet and appetizing! His family's Pitabread can continue indefinitely”

“Many people have described this place as the best pizza in DC. While it is good and definitely has that classic NYC style, it was not five star pizza. I got the Classic Pepperoni signature pizza with burrata and hot honey - very tasty.
I got it for takeout which may have also contributed to quality of the pie. A really nice touch was that they put the buratta and hot honey on the side, which kept the pizza crispier while I brought it home.
I hope to try a fresh slice at the restaurant someday soon. They have lots of selection between their own creations and the classics. If you are in DC and craving pizza, give them a try!
Parking: Parking here is difficult”
“There's a reason Rose Ave usually has a line out the door. This is one of the best bakeries in DC, with a somewhat limited selection compared to other bakeries. They have one of the best breakfast sandwiches in the city, egg and cheese on a garlic croissant type roll. Super rich and will definitely leave your hands covered in butter. The ube kouign amann is incredible and the donuts are both delicious and unique. They have great coffee and a small selection of cakes and slices of cake as well.”
“This beat some of the NY style slices I had even in New York. Just the perfect ratio of crust to sauce to toppings. Perfectly sized pepperoni cups. A gorgeous toasty feeling to the freshly heated slice. Started with 3 slices between 2 people and essentially ended up eating a whole pie. Staff are amazing, so warm and friendly. Great brews on tap and a few salads and sides on the menu to go with the pies. Can’t wait to come back”
“Hey guys want to give you all a big shout out for taking care of our Vets that are sitting in protesting the national guard and educating them about attacking our own citizens in your city. they said they stopped in to have a drink and the guy went to pay for the round and you covered their bill at least for the first round. THANK YOU FOR LOOKING OUT FOR OUR TRUE VETERANS. and GOD BLESS them and YOUR ESTABLISHMENT.”
“This was my first time trying their cookie. I was told by someone that they were too sweet. I tried their oatmeal cookie with raisin and it was delicious. One of the best cookies I've ever had. It was not too sweet at all. Full of flavor , crispy on the outside and chewie on the inside. Unfortunately I didn't get to try other flavors so I can't comment on them but I look forward next time I get a chance.”
“wonderful small family owned Thai restaurant in Washington DC. the food is excellent and the service is great.”
“Just an all-around wonderful experience, I was able to pull right up sit down with my lovely puppy outside and enjoy one of the best brunches I’ve had in the long time”
“This was an incredible find, I’m beyond pleased with my experience. Incredible service, incredible food, and incredible drinks. The ambiance is divine. I can’t speak highly enough of my experience, especially considering the price is so reasonable. 10/10”
“A thoughtful shared plates experience. We followed the wise recommendations of our server and were rewarded. Nice spot. Excellent yet not pretentious.”

“Each dish we had was phenomenal. The best Thai food I have ever had in the States, and very authentic to our experience in Thailand. Would highly recommend the Papaya Salad and the Panang Curry.”

“We had the best time at KooKoo DC last night. They accommodated a table of 14 for my spouse's birthday and never let us feel like an imposition. The food was so fresh, authentic, and reasonably priced - I did a double take when we got the bill. I even felt like we went all-out with apps, drinks, and desserts! The owner was also so kind - we just felt so cared for the whole time and can't wait to visit again.”

“Celebrated my engagement with my girlies here and the whole staff treated us sooo well! Shout out to Sergio 🤩 everything on the menu is delicious and the drinks are very well made!”
“It was fabulous! I loved how much thought went into the meal and the whole place showed the care and love behind the creations. The food and service were spectacular!”
“Thank you so much for having my friends Kristina, Alex and I for dinner today. I just want to say that everything we had was great, my favorite being the la calabrese! Meiling took such good care of us, she is a wonderful host and we had some great conversations with her. We’ll def be back in the future to try some of the other pizzas. Your decor and ambience is fantastic as well, I really felt like I was at restaurant in Italy! Keep up the good work and thanks again for a wonderful evening!”
“First time visiting today and oh my goodness delicious! The Shashuka & Arepe was the best !! My family enjoyed the Cuban sandwich, the poke bowl and the banh mi. We will be back !”
“This was so fun! Ralf and Kai were absolutely amazing! The vibe was amazing and the service was so hospitable. They were fun, and kind, and attentive. Would absolutely recommend!”
“Friendly, quaint and delicious food. Great service. What more do you need”
“We had never tried Afghani food before, and I am so glad we did. The staff was so friendly and helpful with any questions we had. They recommended the Mini Taste of Arocostia for our first time. Everything was FANTASTIC!!! The food was cooked perfectly. The service was great! We never had to ask to have our beverages filled up, because they were already on top of it before we had to ask. They packed all our leftovers into boxes for us for our way home. We will definitely be going back!”
“I love this place! The food is phenomenal! I can’t get over the tempeh burger!!!”
“We're staying in the area for work, and we stopped here for dinner. All I can say is that the coconut soup is the best you'll ever try. It's absolutely amazing. The rest of our food was good as well, but that stood out as the best I've ever had in my entire life. I may come back again just for that.”
“Did the cocktail mixing class. Great food and awesome experience!”
“The food at Ceibo is creative and delicious. We enjoyed eveything, sharing the hamachi, eggplant, dumplings and sea bass. The dumplings are unusual, served in a delicious broth. The emulsion served with the sea bass was amazing. The wine list is reasonable and includes great choices by the glass. The service is friendly and attentive, but not overbearing. The dining room is attractive, but because of the tile floor, once full it is a little loud, but not to the extent that you'll have difficulty hearing your dinner companion across the table. Dinner at Ceibo is a lovely way to spend an evening.”
“Had a great experience. I would definitely come back next time we are in DC.”
“There was a reason why I was anticipating to go to Dōgon... It was too good!

“Food was absolutely amazing and our waiter- Tyren was even more amazing! He made our visit top notch! If I could give all the stars for him!!”
“First visit; I went for Restaurant Week. I ordered the chicken corn chowder, the short rib ravioli and the caramel cheesecake. The chowder was excellent, a great balance of corn and chicken and a goodly amount--but not too much--pepper. I loved it...and a very generous portion! The ravioli was super too--cooked to perfection, stuffed to capacity with cheese, accompanied by a nice hunk of well-seasoned and -cooked short rib. I wasn't able to finish it, so I took some home. I took the cheesecake home too and ate it after a couple of conf calls. Just the right amount of caramel with a couple of strawberries and a creme Anglaise sauce. Scrumptious!! I don't remember many occasions when I've loved all three courses of a meal, but that was certainly the case tonight. I can't wait to go back.”
“Very good southern and northern Indian food. I have tried their fish in banana leaf molee, Dakshin prawns , dosa and Vada. Highly recommend this place. Very difficult to find such an Indian cuisine In Washington DC”
“Minibar went above and beyond our expectations. Due to health issues, we cannot drink alcohol and they curated special nonalcoholic drinks that paired perfectly with the exceptionally creative food!”
“Great food in a great location in Georgetown. Parking right down the street.”
“very tasty Ethiopian dishes and very good atmosphere also excellent services!!!!”
“Hello everyone! My name is Syed Anwar Hussain, and I'm sharing my experience at the best restaurant in the DC area. Today I went to the Bangladesh Embassy, and after I finished my embassy work, I started searching for a good restaurant in that area. Luckily, GPS found the restaurant. We went with my wife and my son, and we ordered three dishes. First, we ordered two dishes. We tasted the first two dishes; they were very delicious. Then we ordered another one. All three dishes were delicious. I really enjoy the delicious food. I have no words to describe how delicious the food is. I highly recommend this place.”
“From the cocktails to the service…our experience was top notch all around! Highly recommend!”
“Ambar's newest location does not disappoint. If you know Ambar, it goes without saying the food is amazing. new offerings on the menu gave me some new favorites to add to my already long list. New cocktails for a new address, yes and thank you! The design esthetic is light and refreshing...And the 2nd floor ceiling is an instagram dream. Easily 5 stars.”
“I know I take terrible pictures but this DC restaurant lived up to the hype…excellent food and drinks, delivered hot and timely and the wait staff was on point. I have to thank my Facebook group and work friends for the recommendation….bonus points, it’s 6 blocks down the street.”
“Came for a tasting as part of Tasting Collective and was glad I did. This was truly a great experience. The 5 course tasting had 2 courses (1st & 4th) that needed to be altered as I'm a pescetarian therefore, don't eat duck. So in place of the duck paté, I was served figs and brie and in place of the duck breast I was served branzino. Each course was nicely paired with wine, again adding to this wonderful experience.
The fig and brie with the croutons was delicious, followed by the roasted pear with gouda, pecans and pomegranate sprinkles which was a delightful tasty plate. Who would think white chocolate and cauliflower purée would be delicious and pair beautifully with seared scallops? Clearly Chef Moore did and how right was he. That purée had folks at our table scraping to get all of it. The next course was a substitute dish and was beyond disappointing, especially compared to the other 3 courses. The branzino was BLAND, but the olives that were on the side were extra salty. I thought I was supposed to eat them together, but that didn't help. I couldn't even eat this course. The final course was a butterscotch pudding, a great way to end the meal/night.
Chef Moore was very welcoming. He answered questions and took pictures with the guests.
I'll definitely add this to my list of restaurants.”

“Bistro Cacao was an outstanding choice to cater lunch for a very important business meeting. The food was AMAZING, from appetizers, salad, main course and dessert! Highly recommend them for your next event, meeting or just a fine place to dine!! Great Service, Great Food, Great Presentation!”
“This was some of the best food I’ve ever had. I would never normally choose Italian as a n “”out to eat” option but I’m so glad I did! I would eat here night after night if I could.”
“The elderly lady at the restaurant reception should be more friendly and welcoming to guests. She is the first person we encounter in the morning before breakfast, and unfortunately, her attitude feels more like she’s working at the White House than in a hospitality setting. I hope she can be more warm and smiling like the rest of the staff at the restaurant.”

Recommendations: Truffle Shoyu, Triple Threat, Chicken Karage
This is probably the best ramen place I’ve been to in the U.S. The place is kind of small, but trust me the wait is worth it. They have truly incredible ramen that will make me miss them so much after I leave D.C. If you prefer lighter broth I recommend the truffle shoyu, if you prefer richer broth I recommend the triple threat. They are both so delicious. Every component of the ramen is perfect, and when they combine all you feel is happiness. The chicken karage is very good too, the portion is huge and it’s not that expensive. I’m so happy that I discovered this treasure place, and I will DEFINITELY visit again! Best food I’ve had in D.C.”
“The service here was amazing 🙏
Probably the best Hamachi Kama we’ve ever had, and we get it every time we try a new sushi restaurant. Everything was fresh and high quality. Would highly recommend.”
“The food quality is very good at Black Salt. There were at least 5 items not listed on the regular menu which were also available for dinner. We liked the fact that several choices were seasonal in nature- which allowed those items to be available.”
“Great people, great service, great food! I've been on a mission to find Eggs Benny done right - thank you! For the breakfast, and for being an awesome part of the adventure. 😊”
“The Tacos and clam chowder was really good. The frozen Rose’ was good as well. Great service”
“Me and the wife went here while on holiday in DC. We got the oysters Rockefeller, the only pasta they had, the seafood platter, and the jumbo fried asparagus. Sadly, the oysters tasted bad and cheese tasted sour. The pasta was bland kinda like chef boy-r-de. The seafood platter was also bland and overcooked, rubbery. Asparagus was good. With all this said I recommend it because maybe the food just wasn’t for us. It might fit your taste buds just not ours! We explain all this to management and they were very kind and accommodating about the situation. Service was also fantastic in all ways.”
“Truly fantastic food and a first rate professional staff. Always a pleasure to dine at La Bise. Amazing service, very interesting and upscale interior, and a great meal, what else could you ask for?”
“It’s tough to find a vegan restaurant that really elevates vegetables instead of just giving you reheated Gardein items but Planta does it. The ambience is very sleek and modern (great for a date night) the bar is well-stocked and there are a ton of different vegetable-centered food options that are done really well. My wife also has a gluten allergy and they went through the menu with her to discuss what options were safest for her. We’ll be back for sure.”
“The. Best. Food. Ever. The atmosphere is admittedly low-frills, but the staff is great, helpful, and anticipated our needs. The art on the walls is lovely, but go for the food.”
“bia iontach! Bhí pie shepards blasta. Beidh mé ag teacht ar ais arís go luath!”
“I went to Sushi Nakazawa by myself tonight. Making a reservation online was quick and easy. The staff were incredibly friendly, and the food was absolutely amazing. I highly recommend giving it a try!”
“Visited the café today! Loved the delectable and creative menu, the warm service, and the beautiful, cozy interior. We enjoyed the inasal, tocino, and ube latte (complete with delicate latte art) courtesy of Sun and Stars Coffee. Our kid was thrilled she could enjoy an ube steamer, too-- and didn't want to stir her drink because she found the art (Hiraya's logo in this instance) so beautiful. If you want reimagined, creative, and elevated Filipino cuisine where the flavors simultaneously bring back sensory memories of the comfort food of your childhood, this is the place for you. Can't wait to return!”
“it's about time! Mocktails are my jam these days. Thanks so much for opening a cool bar I don't have to worry about a drunk fight or gun shots breaking out.”

“I spent a couple hours here because my flight was delayed. The staff was very friendly and helpful. My Cosmos were perfectly pink. (If they’re clear and red they’re not made correctly) and only $6 during Happy Hour. I’m not a big fan of Mexican food, Cosmos I ordered the Bora Bora marinated chicken without the tortilla over rice. It was delicious! The chicken was so tender and tasty and all the flavors were wonderful. I also enjoyed watching the surfers on TV,. The waves relaxed me instead being stressed out over a delayed flight. Definitely recommend this place for its casual atmosphere and good food. Even if you don’t like Mexican!”
“Our experience at the Occidental last night was nothing short of extraordinary. From start to finish, every detail was executed with perfection. The menu showcased incredible range and creativity — the twin lobster tails were tender and sweet, the steak tartare was beautifully balanced, and the smoked pheasant under glass was a showstopper both in flavor and presentation. Each dish felt carefully crafted and elevated, yet approachable. The wine list was equally impressive — clearly curated with thought and depth, offering the perfect pairings to complement the meal without ever feeling overwhelming. Service was another highlight. Warm, attentive, and genuinely inviting, the staff struck that rare balance of professionalism without a hint of stuffiness, making us feel truly welcome. Though we couldn’t save room for dessert, it simply gives us the perfect excuse to return soon. The Occidental delivers a dining experience that lingers in memory — refined, flavorful, and utterly satisfying. Highly recommended!”
“I visited this place awhile ago and there is something very special about this place. i had catfish with fries and it was very fresh and not greasy at all. I had a brief conversation with owner and i was told they used very high level oil to fry the food. They definitely care about the quality of the food more than anything. I will definitely visit this place again.”
“A very inviting corner restaurant, great for people watching and cocktails. The drinks were nice and the atmosphere was lux. We went on a Saturday and it just felt like they needed a manager around. Felt like they were really understaffed and not ready for the crowds. There were some people who had worked there longer and were directing others, and the food did come out of the kitchen timely. But there wasn't a sense of table service really, you just catch them when you can, know the candle won't get lit even after you asked and teach the server how to swipe the card. I wish they had someone tending to things, but maybe when it's slower it will be better. The pizza was good, and lots of pepperoni. I wished it wasn't quite as soggy in the middle but it tasted good. And the burrata had no flavor, no nice olive oil or pepper, very bland, but it was a hearty portion. Can't complain about the drinks. I can sense when there's no service concept so I hope they get it together.”
“The food was delicious and Alejandro was a great server! He was very personable and prompt! We had the salmon cakes, banzino fish, w/greens, red beans & rice. The only thing that needed a smidge more seasoning was the fried green tomatoes. The first time I ordered them they were seasoned perfectly. I also thoroughly enjoyed the nicely cooked breakfast potatoes! This is my 3rd trip here, and I will be back!”
“After a visit to the amazing Go-Go museum we took our appetites and experienced excellent customer service from host, server & Owner. Even with a couple of menu items not being available the food was delicious, decor is relaxing, & welcoming. Owner made a table visit with a smile and great conversation. Look forward to next dining experience. My lemon drop was on point”

“Haley was absolutely fabulous. Her personality was so pleasant and she was extremely professional. She checked on us just the right amount of times and was very knowledgeable about the restaurant, even though she was relatively new. She's a true keeper. Oh yes, the food was out of this world. I know we'll be back and I've recommended it to my friends that either live in K of P or who I know visit there. it was just a lovely experience Laurie Edson”
“Today, Dec.13, my wife and I stopped in for first time (5:30/6:00- we are just “average joes)We were greeted by a very cheerful hostess. We were immediately shown to a table. Staff informed us the servings were “BIG” (easily serves two or three), but we are welcome to order as much as we like. There was a plethora of choices! Drinks and bread (4 different types) were promptly brought to our table. The waiter was sharp, attentive, and on his game! (Unfortunately I forgot his name). Our huge amount of food showed up, and it WAS a huge amount for two people! It was served up to our plates to start. (A very nice touch!) it was excellent! For dessert we had the tiramisu “pie”(yes it looked like and filled a very large shallow bowl and served with big serving spoon!) It was covered with shaved Belgium dark chocolate! ( It was decadent/sinful) We ate 3/4’s of the dish! The Manager (Jorge) was also very attentive and customer service oriented! He was observant and wanted us to have an excellent experience… and we did !! It was an absolute AAAAA+++++ meal! Now my new Favorite restaurant! I absolutely recommend this restaurant!”
“Our server Devin was AMAZING AND TRULY A GEM! Stuart the manager was also AMAZING AND SO INVITING. I watched everyone around me and every employee including managers were helping each other. I’ve been around the world and ate at a lot of Hard Rocks while in the Navy from Bahrain, to Singapore to Hawaii, Foxwoods Connecticut,Las Vegas, and even more and this was an AMAZING EXPERINCE! This is one of the BEST Hard Rock Cafes if not the best!”
“My daughter and son-in-law treated me for my birthday and what a treat it was! From the birthday champagne treat to the special popcorn to the dessert and all meals in between—nothing disappointed. The food was delicious. Filet mignon prepared to perfection. Lamb chops, braised beef, shrimp—all delicious. The sides; I could go on. My husband also enjoyed his meal. Our particular teenaged granddaughter loved her chicken tenders. Even our 2 year old granddaughter enjoyed her kids meal. Definitely will return. This was our first time but it won’t be our last. And last but not least—our server, Micaiah, was the best. Her recommendations were on point. Top notch and so professional!”

“Today afternoon I came to pink tiger, expecting something simple, like any other restaurant. Instead, I got the most exquisite service experience. My server Marta, wasn’t only taking good care of me and my family. She was making sure I had an unforgettable experience, I try delicious food and made wonderful memories of this place.”
“Great food! Home-cooked Habesha cuisine I literally have no complaints. They waited for us to get there, order AND eat, even once they were closed. But they still wanted to serve us as guests. exceptional service. i recommend the doro wot and misir wot. you’ll thank me later 🤌”
“Amazing drinks. Amazing atmosphere. So happy for this team (Jane Jane) for expanding across the city! 12/10 for sure.
Drinks pictured are the Devil in a Red Dress( rocks glass) and Midnight Bloom (coupe). I didn’t get to partake in the cheese puffs but I’m very sure it was an honest mistake. So next time! While I don’t normally like tequila based drinks, the Devil in a Red Dress was a hit! Highly recommend!”
“Dining at Shia was a truly surreal experience!
As fans of Chef Edward Lee from Culinary Class Wars, my husband and I were beyond excited to try his restaurant, and it exceeded every expectation. Every course was beautifully prepared and packed with flavor, the drinks were outstanding, and the service was attentive and welcoming. You can feel the thought and care behind every detail. It was a memorable date night, and we’re already looking forward to coming back!
Highly recommended!”
“A cozy and intimate space with warm lighting and vintage decor. The service and staff go beyond and above for you to spend a lovely time. Unfortunately the food is not up to the standards of the place. The steak was hard to cut and chew. The frites where plain and a little bit saggy. Even the filet mignon was hard.
Make sure to have a reservation. Another option is the bar, first come first serve.”
“Walked into Legacy HiFi on a whim and ended up discovering one of the best bars in DC. The vibe is unmatched—dim lighting, vinyl spinning behind the bar, and sound that wraps around you like a warm jacket. It’s like a listening lounge meets cocktail haven. The bartender crafted a drink based on my mood (smooth with a twist), and the music sparked conversations between strangers. No TVs, no noise—just good drinks, great people, and legendary sound. If you love music and a damn good cocktail, this place is a must.
They also have a kick ass karaoke night on Wednesdays!”
“I went for lunch based on a friend’s recommendation. I was impressed. The pizza went above my expectations. I also met the manager this day too. His knowledge of the ingredients and his passion for the place made me feel more than welcome. They also serve Maine Root Beer which was the icing on the cake for me. 10 out of 10 would recommend.”
“Reservations only for dinner and walk in only for lunch, atmosphere was ok, since it’s shared space with a few other restaurants, the music and ambiance is hard to control. But the food is soooo good, you’ll forget all about it. Photos don’t do it justice, so I’ll just post 1. The whole omasake is very well crafted in terms of flavor profile and texture.”
“Had a lovely dinner here with friends. Our server was as nice and chill.
The food was delicious. We had the samosas and spinach for apps, which is one of my fav dishes, and the mixed grill and butter chicken for mains. Loved the variety and flavor of the mixed grill, I actually wish it had lamb chops instead of the salmon but overall it was great. The butter chicken was a little too sweet but the chicken was fresh, which I really appreciate soft melty chicken in curry. I had the mango lassi - this fell flat for me. The flavor wasn’t that good and it was served in a to-go cup for me to drink with my meal in the restaurant. I’m guessing it’s cutting in cleaning yoghurt cups but it takes away from the experience.
Overall good experience and will be back.”
“Great food and excellent service. John was fantastic. 100% recommend”
