I appreciate the concept and the space is nice / reasonably priced. It's hard to get into Ponyride, however - particularly the coworking space. Everything is behind locked/coded doors.
Not all that sure what it is they do here but any place that bombs there own building is cool w/ me. I love the external décor!!
This place is amazing - the Makers Fair they do is must attend for holiday shopping!
It was fun and mostly the product from hand made.
Cool working space.

I was pleasantly surprised at how good this place was. Someone here is thinking about the menu and not doing food as usual. Very nice. The wait staff was quick and professional. Attentive but not intrusive. Our entrees were served hot (a rarity these days it seems) and were tasty.
First time in Detroit and had a fab time. The best Eggs Benedict ever. I think they called them Benny. I had mine with salmon, which was sliced perfectly. The eggs didn't get cold with salmon. Love the arugula, red onions, capers with yummy hollandaise sauce. Really good coffee and mimosa with peach champagne. The Bloody Mary looked delicious but I had already enough drink. Can't wait to go back.
Super cute little place downtown. I came in for lunch and it was not too crowded, we got seated right away. As for food I got a cup of soup it was ok a little too heavy for my liking but had good cauliflower flavor. I shared the pork rinds with a friend it is a large portion, sharing is a good idea. They come out super hot and fresh, eating them was like nothing else I have had, however if you do not like hot get it without the pepper sauce. For drink selections they have a great variety of hot teas to pick from.
This place is really good! Fun atmosphere and a quite varied menu. Went for brunch, had the spicy belly eggs Benedict and it was great! Multiple options for those with different diet requests and super accommodating staff. Definitely seems as if they use good quality ingredients and really care about the overall experience. Excellent choice for a morning downtown.
I love their sausage omelette. Their to-go service is reliable and professional; they have a smaller to-go menu. Have yet to try the drinks. It is always very busy here so plan accordingly.

A very good restaurant and dining experience. The service was excellent and the food was wonderful. A very enjoyable evening. Where did they get these valets? It's almost like they dressed up some homeless people.I did not feel good about leaving my car with them. So I didn't
Back and better than ever. Went for lunch with three others for the first time since it opened back up and everything was superb, which is a surprise for a new place. Had the Rueben and it was made to perfection, and the fries were as good as I ever had anywhere. Two companions said the clam chowder was the best they ever had. All four thought food was great. Waiter was very professional and attentive. Will be back often. So glad to see they did it right.
The new owner is a true gentleman and the attention to detail is remarkable. A real treat everything was cooked perfectly and the wine selection is great especially if you want to try something new or a little out of the box. The atmosphere is perfect for all occasions, you could walk in in jeans or a cocktail dress and be comfortable in either. A wonderful addition to Detroit revitalization!
Fantastic! Loved it.. Food, service, cocktails... Had a great night out
Excellent food, atmosphere, music, and staff. I strongly recommend.

High quality cocktails and probably the best organized cocktail menu in the city. Every drink is organized by liquor with graphics showing you the ingredients, the glass it comes it, and three adjectives to describe the flavor of each drink. The place is a little small and they love to cram people in so it can get tight (even for standing room) on the weekends. The only major downside is that they blast the music here way more than necessary and have terrible interior acoustics. I love the drinks but I typically cannot even have a conversation with the person standing right next to me. If they would just turn down the volume, I would go here far more but its no fun to head to a bar and not be able to converse.
What an awesome atmosphere! The drink options are unique, yet you can get your favorites if you are not feeling adventurous. If you want to sit at a table, you better show up early. Side note: if it is after 9:00pm on a Friday or Saturday, don't be "that guy" and order food and sit at the bar all night. You'll likely piss off the bartenders and the 50 people behind you waiting to order a drink. Back to the review: I definitely recommend going here and I will be back!
The atmosphere is really cool and intimate, the artwork on the walls is awesome and the servers are really attentive. We had cocktails and desserts and all were amazing! Definitely a great spot for drinks.
The location, atmosphere, and craft cocktails here are amazing! Service was very good as well. Highly recommended! Also, reserve a table! It can be busy often.
Great food, cocktails, and especially great service. Be prepared to wait at the bar on Friday or Saturday nights (reservations are only taken Sunday through Thursday), do yourself a favor and order a drink. Don't worry about edging up to the bar, a server will ask if they can get you anything. We enjoyed our burger, duck salad, cauliflower, and beverages. Entrees and appetizers reasonably priced.

Pricey. Vegetable dishes and bread were outstanding. Light on the gin in the gin and tonic. Not all food comes to the table at the same time as it is prepared as it's ordered. Sharing of dishes is encouraged by staff. Unique combinations of food. Cool building.
We were her for a Tigers game and just as we were walking to the Park, the game was cancelled due to rain. We got back to the car and my son recognized the GAR Building because he wrote an extensive research paper about it. We decided to go into Republic and sit at the bar. What a FANTASTIC experience. The food was great and Thomas was as well . . . But the highlight was watching Lisa mix drinks. She is amazing, full of energy and seats smiling and engaging. I learned a few things about drinks tonight. We will DEFINITELY be back -- soon!
Expertly crafted food! The menu was dynamic (changes with the seasons), and eclectic (creative and odd in a GOOD way). The service was very very good. And (this might be shooting us restaurant patron in the food by saying this) it's reasonably priced. The Chef's Tasting menu is a STEAL at $50! The only improvement I could suggest is some sound-deadening decor (or even that ugly foam!) on the ceilings and walls. The place was LOUD inside.
Good food an Drinks. Cool Bar tender. However very rude hostesses. We got there at the early and the place was nearly empty, and we were asked if we had reservations like it was totally ridiculous that we did not. Told in the rudest way possible that sitting at the bar was our only option. At least a dozen empty tables still available when we were finished eating and left. No reason we could not have been offered a table or at least given more respect than we did. Most like will never go back just because of the two rude hostesses ruined the taste of our excellent food.
The food was fantastic! Had the pre fixe (highly recommend) and each dish was inventive and satisfying. Though each dish was smaller, the courses kept coning and we had a lot to eat for a (relatively) well-priced meal. Especially enjoyed the ceviche and lavender green salad. Waitstaff was friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive - I'll definitely be back!
