“We had a lovely meal at the White Linen. I enjoyed their eclectic menu offerings. It was one of the better fine dining experiences I've had in Kansas. I would definitely try their Chef's table in future for something a little different!”

Have been to many a steakhouse but this was one of the best for many reasons. \nGreat decor and ambience and friendly from the minute we walked in the door. \nCharlie at the bar was welcoming and makes a great Old Fashioned. \nBut the star of the show was the food further enjoyed thanks to the great service of Sabryn. Lobster chowder was superb, Brussels very tasty with the perfect char, and broccoli perfectly steamed. Standing above all of it was the Longhorn Porterhouse—well seasoned and actually served rare with a great sear. \nNever felt rushed, service by Sabryn was timely with a great smile and friendly conversation, and noise level was well contained to allow easy visiting. \nDon’t have one of these where we live but will definitely return when possible.\nAnd to top it all off, prices were actually quite reasonable.”

“It's a homey, warm, happy but very basic set-up. Counter order then grab a seat. Counter staff was friendly and kind. Then the bus lady who brought me my food was so nice. I didn't tip on the payment at the counter, but left a few bucks after I realized just how nice they all are. Definitely a go to for a quick lunch. Chilli is better than my mom's. Nuff said. Reuben was good as well. I'm coming back for sure.”

The owners are so kind and make you feel right at home. This is a very kid friendly place as well! My 18 month old loved the food! Even the nice small touch of wiping off your cups before they give them to you really make a difference. The team members really kill it here!”

“This place always delivers! We have never had a complaint. However, they recently raised their prices, and in my opinion, they raised them too high. We are regulars there, but we will have to start going a lot less and start ordering differently due to the new prices. It's still the best breakfast in town for flavor and service! And if you haven't tried their pumpkin pancakes, I highly recommend them!

Parking: Their parking lot doesn't hold too many, but there is an extra parking lot just next door and street parking if you're ok with walking.

Kid-friendliness: They have a kids' menu with color sheet included and crayons. You don't have to worry about your kids making noise, very family friendly.”

A young man named Brendan walked up to my table and said "hi , how are you today ? " We proceeded to have a conversation about our days . This young man is such a bright light ! He absolutely made my day just shooting the breeze about nothing. He really deserves to be recognized for the positivity he brings to your company.”

The bartenders were great. I went to another bar before this one just because it was closer to my hotel and I didn't enjoy it nearly as much. I would highly recommended this bar if you're looking for a bar with kinda that small town feel and looking for a fun time. Everyone was so laid back. If I ever end up in Topeka again I'll definitely go back.”

“The customer service I received this sunday at Perkin’s was phenomenal. I went out to eat with my mother in law and my infant son. He is at the teething age therefore he is quite cranky. The entire beginning of us getting there and ordering was filled with him crying (which is not fun in a restaurant). Once our meals came, a sweet older lady who is a team lead there, came to our table and offered to hold my crying son so I can eat. She said that I needed it. Not once has this type of customer service been offered to me anywhere else. I will remember this moment for a long time.”

I placed an online order, and it was delayed. I called to find out what was up and no one is answering at the location. I’ve been trying for over 20 min but the phone just keeps ringing through. Tried another location and the phone number is out of service. Google says they’re open and the system let them take my online order. Tried to call corporate to see if there was an online issue or something, but it’s after 5pm , & VM is full. And now I’m out $45 until the charge goes through so I can dispute it with my card company.
I’ve NEVER had this issue here before. They’re always fast and food is always great. No idea what the heck is going on but I’m really disappointed.”

It is only a single person bathroom but it was very clean and didn't even smell like a bar bathroom. A little graffiti on the wall but that is expected at a bar. All in all, this is a great place, super laid back and so welcoming.”

“It's been 20 some years since I've been able to have Schlotzskys as the local one where I'm from closed while I was living overseas. We actually went to the strip mall for the smoke shop, needing cigarettes and that being the closest one that popped up.

Imagine our excitement pulling into the parking lot and seeing this place on the corner. My co traveler thought I led us there on purpose, but I honestly didn't even think to look if a schlotzkys was in the area.

Anyhow, we went in and despite over 2 decades having passed, the menu was mostly familiar. Ordering a previous favorite for both of us, we sat down in anticipation for the food to be done.

It was OUTSTANDING! The sandwiches were thick enough to make taking a bite a challenge. The soup as warm and creamy and delicious as remembered. The chips just as crisp.

The staff friendly as ever during our ordering/checkout/pick up times.

However, an older lady came out after we were sitting there eating for a few and started berating a younger lady for opening a roll of change because she had to count it all when the younger ones shift was done.

Ok? That couldn't have been quietly addressed in the back away from customers? There was no reason except a power play to embarrass the poor girl like that. I told her next time, make it worth it and open up every single roll of change most new drawers start with. She half giggled and looked back over her shoulder as if afraid the older lady was standing. There ready to yell again.

Think about how your actions reflect on the staff, the store, and what customers end up thinking about the service lady.....before pulling such a ridiculously uncalled for stunt and purposely Making someone feel worse for the day. It's unappealing and unappetizing.
