Everything we have eaten there has been amazing but I have to say that our favorite is ending the night with a warm Butter Toffee cake with salted Carmel ice cream.”

“Nice chat with the main chef when I visit this restaurant. She is very knowledgeable about the nigiri ? and different salts that I have never heard about it. I like the atmosphere in there and definitely will come again if I visit Lex again. Plus I also like the Zensai-crispy rice the boy chef made it, the sauce is my favorite. ? yummy”

“We went in there for the very first time yesterday. They were all very friendly and super helpful, by the time we left I felt like we had known them forever. Their meals are so convenient, pop them in the microwave for a minute and you have a delicious meal. If you want to eat healthy or maybe you already do but you’re tired of spending the day in the kitchen, you definitely wanna check these guys out.”

This was my first time so I wasn't sure what I what I wanted but our waiter was so good and she explained everything so well and really sold us on the specialty drinks. We sat inside and loved the feel of the restaurant the decor felt homey, and welcoming. I had the bone in pork chop it was absolutely amazing! I truly love this place and will be back again.”
“I had the combination dinner number one. It has shrimp tempura and beef teriyaki. It comes with soup, salad, four pieces of California roll, and shumai. Everything was fantastic. I also had a Kirin beer. The prices are reasonable and the service is fast. Everyone on staff is very friendly and helpful. There is free parking, but the restaurant is small and there are not a lot of parking spots. It's probably a good idea to get a reservation, even though they don't seem to be required.”

We really enjoyed our entree selections: Short Ribs, Mussels, Steak, and Sushi, plus fresh warm bread. My friend's Old-Fashioned drink was delectable! The service was excellent and exemplary! We were delighted with our Saturday evening at Distilled. Thank you!”

Blue has an extensive vegan sushi menu & it is DIVINE.I have never had any sushi I’ve enjoyed, so I was uncertain at first. I met my parents here for dinner since they are huge sushi lovers & I wasn’t sure what to expect. This was absolutely some of the best food I’ve had in a minute at a restaurant as a vegetarian. Started off with the charred edamame, bc who doesn’t love a great bowl of edamame before dinner? I use to not love sushi bc of the seaweed wrap, so I was happy to know they had alternatives, soy rice paper & cucumber. I enjoyed their Thai & Crunchy Cabbagge rolls. I was shocked at how much I loved sushi, even went back a day later lol. Everything was super tasty. The flavors & textures were everything!!! Not only was the food great, but I highly recommend sitting at the bar. Our bartender Gabrielle provided excellent service. My family & I appreciated your kindness! Also, if cocktails with brunch are your thing (like mine) the bottomless choices and prices cannot be beat in this town!”

When I called, they said thats what you asked for. What I asked for was the 1921 burger add bacon. The manager apologized and said that she missed understood. Has offer to replace the burgers.”

“It's beyond difficult to explain how amazing this place is because there's so much about it that is magical. The owners & staff are amazing, friendly people who really care about you and the space. The coffee is some of the best around in Lexington. And they constantly have tons of great events, products, and more! They've even welcomed the Pokémon TCG & Pokémon GO communities over the last year with open arms and both communities love this place to play at. If you've never been or you've been but never hung out and played some board games, I highly suggest you do so.”

“We are so glad to have Olive’s Apron in our neighborhood! I love walking down to the shop and hanging out in the “couch room” with my kids. It is so cozy and cute with plenty of unique games for the little ones to enjoy. I have always felt welcomed. Also the smell when you walk through the door is divine! We have been big fans of the biscuits and various treats for awhile, but have not visited as much recently due to some dietary restrictions for our family. I contacted them about creating two custom dye-free birthday sets for my children and they were so wonderful to work with! Ashley sourced natural dyes for our order per my recommendations as it is not something they keep on hand and charged me only an extra $5 to do so. The cakes came out beautiful, more vibrant than expected, and were so delicious! They were perfect and we had two very happy birthday kids! The atmosphere is really cool and the food was SOOO GOOD!We ordered the tostones ceviche, octopus, chicken croquettes, beef short rib empanadas, Cuban sandwich with fries and house Sangria. The empanadas weren’t our favorite, but that was only because everything else was so amazing. The octopus is VERY much worth the price. Very excited to go back and try the Paella.”

The steaks were high quality and grilled exactly as we liked. The sides were delicious as well. The dark chocolate mousse was heavenly and paired nicely with the remaining Cabernet Sauvignon I had left after supper. We were seated by the fireplace, and upon closer inspection, the chandelier is made from old Maker's Mark bottles. I love the exposed brick as well.”

“Date night! We started off with the best crab cake I have ever eaten and a baked goat cheese laden with local lavender honey and pistachios hot in a skillet. For entrees we had the duck and tournedos. The cook on both was why Dudley's gets a four instead of five. The duck was slightly overcooked but the fat hadn't been rendered enough. That being said, the confit duck in rice and accompanying veg were delish! The tournedos with crab meat were slightly more well than medium; however again, accompanying mashed potatoes and sauce were stunning. The ambience is perfect for a date night. It's in a beautiful spot on downtown with plenty of street parking , lot parking and garage parking nearby. On this day in particular, because the weather was so nice, the doors were also wide open allowing for beautiful fresh air during our meal. Service was excellent and quick. We will be back especially for that delicious decadent crab cake. Truly the best we've had in town!”

This is by far the best, authentic, and delicious Mexican/taco place I’ve found since being in KY. Collin, the head chef, not only developed the menu and hand creates all the food, sauces, and salsas, but pays respect to every single ingredient as a way to naturally elevate all the basic “Mexican” dishes we are all familiar with, while still staying true to the traditional roots of the food.I cannot rave enough about the food and drinks from Desperados Cantina! The guava frozen margarita is impressive, while not being overly sweet. Every single taco is noteworthy in its own way, the elote is as close to being at a street food vendor in Mexico as you can get, and the brunch menu is phenomenal (especially the breakfast nachos!) and they have dessert too! If you haven’t tried the food yet, its a must! I know for certain we will be returning again and again!”

Thankfully, this gem was super close to the hotel where we stayed (Hyatt Place, which is also lovely, btw)!The service was great and was matched with wonderful food, as well as a comfortable and relaxed environment. It was exactly what we needed!There are so very many options (you can also order from Malone's and Aqua) that I had to ask a lot of questions. I hate to be that person, but even though they were packed, the staff was very friendly and helpful when I asked for recommendations for local beers and information about a couple of dishes.We ended up with the spicy beef dumplings for an appetizer (if you like Japanese gyoza, these taste very similar to the one's "mama" in Japan makes). Yum yum!He got the Malone's twin filets with bearnaise. (There's also Harry's twin filets, and there is a difference in price! The Malone's comes with a bottomless salad and side, Harry's comes with a side. We didn't ask the difference, that's just what I noticed on the menu.) The filets had a perfect sear, glistening center, and very nice seasoning! Mac & cheese as a side was nice and creamy, ooey gooey with cheesy goodness! (To be clear, the bottomless salad is mixed lettuces, not mixed greens that people from elsewhere in the country might expect. Fine with us because we grew up in the Midwest. Others might expect endive, cress, baby greens, arugula, radicchio, etc. Those are not in this salad!)I ordered the fish and chips, mostly because I haven't had that in a long time, but the bartendress said that it had a light breading which sold me. The fish was FANTASTIC! One of the best I've ever had in my life! Glistening center, perfect amount of Old Bay seasoned breading, which was light and crispy... Perfect for the fish! It's so good I may have to drive up to Lexington one day just for this dish (and not eat along the way so I can eat the whole dish when I get there)!Crinkle cut fries were kinda cold when they came out, but they were fine. Eh, they're what you'd expect. I only had a few because we were sharing the salad (it's a very large bowl, btw. We never refilled it). The fish was supposed to come with slaw, but I didn't get it. I also didn't mention it to the staff because we already had too much food! (She did warn me that the fish and chips dish is huge. There's like 8-10 nice sized pieces of fish.)It was all so delicious we didn't want to stop eating! BUT they are NOT skimpy on the portions, so there was simply no more room in our bellies!Obviously we left food on our plates, but we're apparently gluttons. So, we did still order dessert; a layered brownie! (Seriously, how could we not try it? Brownie, Blondie, and a strawberry Blondie served warm with vanilla ice cream.) It was equally yummy, but we couldn't finish it! Soo much food! If we had more time, we would have gone back to try everything, but we decided to just get as much as we could in 1 night instead. “Great food, drinks and service today. We got the margarita flight, chips and queso, chicken bacon ranch and plain Jane tacos. Best service and experience we’ve had out in a long time. Everything came out super fast, even my last taco was still hot and fresh when I got to it. Music was playing but not too loud, server was attentive but not intrusive.”

The time spent in Lexington was enjoyed at Sedona on three occasions for lunch, dinner and some very tasty adult beverages. The food was good quality, atmosphere was bustling and the service was unparalleled. Timely service, clean from front desk to Bathrooms. We were blessed with the service of Therase on 2 of those visits. She was engaging, knowledgeable of her menu and a delight to get to know. She is an asset to your company and the next time we are in Lexington we will stop in for sure. “A few blocks out of the center, but easy to find. Two rooms packed with locals; one room with aircon that was just what I needed. The LP guide recommended the fried shrimp, so decided on that. The food came pretty quickly with a huge mound of shrimp perfectly cooked! I’d definitely recommend this place! Good food, good vibe and friendly staff.”

This was amazing authentic food and my husband said the nachos are the best he has had in Kentucky! The chips were hot and incredibly fresh, small batch. Just know it is cash only and mainly Spanish speaking, I know a bit of Spanish but had no trouble communicating or reading menu.”

“I didn't have any food from here but I did utilize their bar , while staying at the doubletree hotel recently. The male bartender was attentive and very accommodating. The bar hours are 5-9 , weekdays and 5-10 , weekends.... I believe. You can order food at the bar but there is a separate dining space available in the actual restaurant. The drinks are good and prices are reasonable. You certainly can't beat the convenience factor. Sorry , no pics.”

When I too it back they apologized profusely & gave me credit for another specialitypizza.They were trying to inform people that to maintain quality there may be longer wait times. “Pizza very good and considering how busy they were I thought it would be forever getting my pizza but it was relatively quick. Only issue I ordered boneless wings and instead they gave me wings with bones. I didn't realize this till I got home and we were just hungry and ate them anyway. In the future I will check my order before I leave. I am just glad that I have a new pizza option in the area.”

“We had dinner with another couple. Front/bar was super noisy so we opted for a booth in the back in order to have a conversation. Service was very good. Husband and I ordered the ravioli and the chicken Ceasar salad to share. All good but salad was very small for the price. I'm not a big eater but left feeling hungry even though we had chocolate torte for dessert.”

“This is definitely a new favorite for us! Keep in mind that they only have one server at the moment so be patient. The atmosphere is really cool and the food was SOOO GOOD!We ordered the tostones ceviche, octopus, chicken croquettes, beef short rib empanadas, Cuban sandwich with fries and house Sangria. The empanadas weren’t our favorite, but that was only because everything else was so amazing. The octopus is VERY much worth the price. Very excited to go back and try the Paella.”

This is by far the best, authentic, and delicious Mexican/taco place I’ve found since being in KY. Collin, the head chef, not only developed the menu and hand creates all the food, sauces, and salsas, but pays respect to every single ingredient as a way to naturally elevate all the basic “Mexican” dishes we are all familiar with, while still staying true to the traditional roots of the food.I cannot rave enough about the food and drinks from Desperados Cantina! The guava frozen margarita is impressive, while not being overly sweet. Every single taco is noteworthy in its own way, the elote is as close to being at a street food vendor in Mexico as you can get, and the brunch menu is phenomenal (especially the breakfast nachos!) and they have dessert too! If you haven’t tried the food yet, its a must! I know for certain we will be returning again and again!”
